ਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੇਸੰਗਿਜੋਮਿਲਿਜਾਤੁਭਏ॥
ਜੋ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਗਏ,
Those Brahmins who ate together with the king.
ਨਰਸੋਰਜਪੂਤਕਹਾਤਭਏ॥੧੮॥੩੦੮॥
ਉਹ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਅਖਵਾਉਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੧੮॥੩੦੮॥
They were called Rajputs.18.308.
ਤਿਨਜੀਤਬਿਜੈਕਹੁਰਾਉਚੜ੍ਯੋ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਦਿਗਵਿਜੈ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਾ (ਅਜੈ ਸਿੰਘ) ਨੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
After conquering them, the king (Ajai Singh) moved to gain further conquests.
ਅਤਿਤੇਜੁਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੁਬਢ੍ਯੋ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਧ ਗਿਆ।
His glory and magnificence increased enormously.
ਜੋਊਆਨਿਮਿਲੇਅਰੁਸਾਕਦਏ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਆ ਕੇ ਮਿਲ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ (ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ) ਸਾਕ ਦਿੱਤੇ,
Those who surrendered before him and married their daughters to him,
ਨਰਤੇਰਜਪੂਤਕਹਾਤਭਏ॥੧੯॥੩੦੯॥
ਉਹ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਵੀ ਰਾਜਪੂਤ ਅਖਵਾਉਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੧੯॥੩੦੯॥
They were also called Rajputs.19.309.
ਜਿਨਸਾਕਦਏਨਹਿਰਾਰਿਬਢੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਕ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਲੜਾਈ ਵੱਧ ਗਈ।
Those who did not marry their daughters, the wrangle increased with them.
ਤਿਨਕੀਇਨਲੈਜੜਮੂਲਕਢੀ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਮੂਲੋਂ ਕਢ ਸੁਟੀ।
He (the king) completely uprooted them.
ਦਲਤੇਬਲਤੇਧਨਟੂਟਿਗਏ॥
(ਜੋ) ਸੈਨਾ ਵਜੋਂ, ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਂ ਧਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਟੁਟ ਗਏ,
The armies, might and wealth were finished.
ਵਹਿਲਾਗਤਬਾਨਜਕਰਮਭਏ॥੨੦॥੩੧੦॥
ਉਹ ਵਣਜ ਕਰਨ ਲਗ ਗਏ ॥੨੦॥੩੧੦॥
And they adopted the occupation of traders.20.310.
ਜੋਊਆਨਿਮਿਲੇਨਹਿਜੋਰਿਲਰੇ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਮਿਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ ਸਨ,
Those who did not surrender and fought violently,
ਵਹਿਬਾਧਮਹਾਗਨਿਹੋਮਕਰੇ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਗਨੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Their bodies were bound and reduced to ashes in big fires.
ਅਨਗੰਧਜਰੇਮਹਾਕੁੰਡਅਨਲੰ॥
ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਗਨਕੁੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਨਾ ਪਤਾ ਚਲੇ (ਅਨਗੰਧ) ਸੜ ਗਏ।
They were burnt in the fire-altar-pit uninformed.
ਭਇਓਛਤ੍ਰੀਅਮੇਧੁਮਹਾਪ੍ਰਬਲੰ॥੨੧॥੩੧੧॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਛਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੱਗ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੨੧॥੩੧੧॥
Thus there was a very great sacrifice of Kshatriyas.21.311.

ਇਥੇ ਅਜੈ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ।

ਅੱਠ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਤਕ
For eighty-two years, eight months and two days,
ਬਹੁਰਾਜੁਭਾਗਕਮਾਇ॥
ਰਾਜ-ਭਾਗ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਮਾ ਕੇ
ਪੁਨਿਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਰਾਇ॥੧॥੩੧੨॥
ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਅਜੈ ਸਿੰਘ) ਦਾ ਫਿਰ (ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ) ॥੧॥੩੧੨॥
Ruled very prosperously the king of kings (Ajai Singh).1.312.
ਸੁਨਰਾਜਰਾਜਮਹਾਨ॥
ਸੁਣੋ, ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰਾਜੇ
ਦਸਚਾਰਿਚਾਰਿਨਿਧਾਨ॥
ਅਤੇ ਦਸ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ!
Listen, the king of great kingdom, who was treasure of fourteen learnings
ਦਸਦੋਇਦੁਆਦਸਮੰਤ॥
ਦਸ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੰਤਰ
ਧਰਨੀਧਰਾਨਮਹੰਤਿ॥੨॥੩੧੩॥
(ਓਨਮ ਭਗਵਤੇ ਵਾਸਦੇਵਯ) ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਪੂਜਣ-ਯੋਗ! ॥੨॥੩੧੩॥
Who recited the mantra of twelve letters and was the Supreme Sovereign on the earth.2.313.
ਪੁਨਿਭਯੋਉਦੋਤਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ॥
ਫਿਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ (ਜਗ) ਪ੍ਰਗਟ (ਉਦੋਤ) ਹੋਇਆ
ਰਸਰਤਿਰੂਪਰਸਾਲ॥
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
Then the great king Jag took birth, who was very beautiful and affectionate
ਅਤਿਭਾਨਤੇਜਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ॥
(ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤੇਜ ਸੂਰਜ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਸੀ
ਅਨਖੰਡਤੇਜਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ॥੩॥੩੧੪॥
ਅਤੇ (ਉਹ) ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਤੇਜ ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਸੀ ॥੩॥੩੧੪॥
Who was highly lustrous than the sun, His great effulgence was indestructible.3.314.
ਤਿਨਿਬੋਲਿਬਿਪ੍ਰਮਹਾਨ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ (ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ) ਮਹਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ
ਪਸੁਮੇਧਜਗਰਚਾਨ॥
ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ-ਮੇਧ ਯੱਗ ਚਾਇ।
He called all the great Brahmins. In order to perform the animal sacrifice,
ਦਿਜਪ੍ਰਾਗਜੋਤਬੁਲਾਇ॥
ਜੋਤਿਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ (ਅਸਾਮ ਦੇ)
ਅਪਿਕਾਮਰੂਪਕਹਾਇ॥੪॥੩੧੫॥
ਕਾਮ-ਰੂਪ (ਤੀਰਥ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ) ਅਖਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ) ॥੪॥੩੧੫॥
He called very leaned Brahmins, who called themselves very beautiful like Cupid.4.315.
ਦਿਜਕਾਮਰੂਪਅਨੇਕ॥
ਕਾਮ-ਰੂਪ (ਤੀਰਥ) ਤੋਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਬੋਲਿਲੀਨਬਿਸੇਖ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਏ।
Many Brahmin beautiful like Cuaid were especially invited by the king.
ਸਭਜੀਅਜਗਅਪਾਰ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅਪਾਰ ਜੀਵ (ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰ ਲਏ)
ਮਖਹੋਮਕੀਨਅਬਿਚਾਰ॥੫॥੩੧੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ('ਅਬਿਚਾਰ') ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਯੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੫॥੩੧੬॥
Innumerable animals of the world, were caught and burnt in altar-pit thoughtlessly.5.316.
ਪਸੁਏਕਪੈਦਸਬਾਰ॥
ਇਕ ਇਕ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਉਤੇ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ) ਦਸ ਦਸ ਵਾਰ
ਪੜਿਬੇਦਮੰਤ੍ਰਅਬਿਚਾਰ॥
ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੇਦ ਮੰਤਰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Ten times on one animal, the Vedic mantra was recited thoughtlessly.
ਅਬਿਮਧਿਹੋਮਕਰਾਇ॥
ਬਕਰਿਆਂ ('ਅਬਿ') ਨੂੰ (ਹਵਨ ਕੁੰਡ) ਵਿਚ ਹੋਮ ਕਰਾ ਕੇ
ਧਨੁਭੂਪਤੇਬਹੁਪਾਇ॥੬॥੩੧੭॥
(ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੇ) ਰਾਜ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੬॥੩੧੭॥
The animal was burnt in the altar-pit, for which much wealth was received from the king.6.317.
ਪਸੁਮੇਘਜਗਕਰਾਇ॥
ਪਸ਼ੂ-ਮੇਧ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਾ ਕੇ
ਬਹੁਭਾਤਰਾਜੁਸੁਹਾਇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ
By performing animal-sacrifice, the kingdom prospered in many ways.
ਬਰਖਅਸੀਹਅਸਟਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ॥
ਅਠਾਸੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ
ਦੁਇਮਾਸਰਾਜੁਕਮਾਨ॥੭॥੩੧੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤਕ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੭॥੩੧੮॥
For eighty-eight years and two months, the monarch ruled the kingdom.7.318.
ਪੁਨਕਠਨਕਾਲਕਰਵਾਲ॥
ਫਿਰ ਕਠੋਰ ਕਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ,
ਜਗਜਾਰੀਆਜਿਹਜੁਵਾਲ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,
Then the terrible sword of death, whose flame hath burnt the world
ਵਹਿਖੰਡੀਆਅਨਖੰਡ॥
ਨੇ ਨਾ ਖੰਡੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਜਗ ਰਾਜੇ) ਨੂੰ ਖੰਡਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਅਨਖੰਡਰਾਜਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ॥੮॥੩੧੯॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਅਖੰਡ ਸੀ ॥੮॥੩੧੯॥
Broke the unbreakable king, whose rule was entirely glorious.8.319.
