ਜੈਸੇਤਉਜਨਨੀਖਾਨਪਾਨਕਉਸੰਜਮੁਕਰੈਤਾਤੇਸੁਤਰਹੈਨਿਰਬਿਘਨਅਰੋਗਜੀ।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਤਾ ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਆਦਿ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਰਹੇਜ਼ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਓਸ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਤ੍ਰ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਵਿਘਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਾ ਡੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਜੀਓਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as a would-be mother takes care of what she eats so that the child in her womb remains healthy.
ਜੈਸੇਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਰੀਤਚਕ੍ਰਵੈਚੇਤੰਨਰੂਪਤਾਤੇਨਿਹਚਿੰਤਨਿਰਭੈਬਸਤਲੋਗਜੀ।
(ਐਸਾ ਹੀ) ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ (ਰਾਜ ਧਰਮ) ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਯਾਦਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਲੋਗ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਤੇ ਨਿਸਚਿੰਤ ਹੋਏ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ) ਵਸਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Just as a good ruler remains alert in the enforcement of law and order so as to keep his subjects safe, fearless of any harm and happy.
ਜੈਸੇਕਰੀਆਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਬੋਹਥਮੈਸਾਵਧਾਨਤਾਤੇਪਾਰਿਪਹੁਚਤਪਥਿਕਅਸੋਗਜੀ।
ਇਞੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਸ ਭਾਂਤ ਕਰੀਆ ਮਲਾਹ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੋਹਿਥ ਜਹਾਜ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਵਾਧਾਨ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹੇ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਂਧੀ ਲੋਕ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਜਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Just as a sailor is ever alert while sailing his boat in the ocean so that he takes all his passengers safely to other shore.
ਤੈਸੇਗੁਰਪੂਰਨਬ੍ਰਹਮਗਿਆਨਧਿਆਨਲਿਵਤਾਂਤੇਨਿਰਦੋਖਸਿਖਨਿਜਪਦਜੋਗਜੀ।੩੫੪।
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਗੁਰੂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ ਓਸੇ ਧ੍ਯਾਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਗਾਈ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਭੀ ਓਸੇ ਢਾਲ ਦੀ ਚਾਲ ਧਾਰਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਭਰ ਹੀ ਨਿਜਪਦ ਆਤਮ ਪਦ ਪਰਮ ਪਦ ਵਿਖੇ ਜੋਗ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੫੪॥
