ਅੱਗ ਸਾੜੇ, ਪਾਣੀ ਡੋਬੇ, ਸੱਪ ਡੰਗੇ, ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਘਾਤ ਕਰਨ, ਇਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਰੋਮ ਰੋਮ ਵਿਚ ਪੀੜਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
Pain in the body due to burns, drowning in water, snakebite or wounds received by the strike of weapons;
ਬਿਰਥਾਅਨੇਕਅਪਦਾਅਧੀਨਦੀਨਗਤਿਗ੍ਰੀਖਮਔਸੀਤਬਰਖਮਾਹਿਨਿਸਪ੍ਰਾਤਹੈ।
ਦੀਨ ਦੁਖੀ ਦੀ ਐਸੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਥਵਾ ਗਰਮੀ ਜਾਂ ਪਾਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਂ ਵਸਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਵਿਚ ਦਿਨੇ ਰਾਤ ਬੈਠਣਾ ਪਵੇ।
Sufferings of many distresses, spending days in summer, winter and even rainy seasons and bearing these discomforts;
ਗੋਦ੍ਵਿਜਬਧੂਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸਬੰਸਕੋਟਿਹਤਯਾਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਅਨੇਕਦੁਖਦੋਖਬਸਗਾਤਹੈ।
ਗਊ ਹਤਿਆ, ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ, ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਘਾਤ, ਕੁਲ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਆਦਿ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਹੋਵ, ਅਥਵਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੇਕਾਰਣ ਦੋਖ ਕਮਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਦੋਖਾਂ ਦੇਕਾਰਣ ਅਨਾਂ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਰੀਰ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
Distresses of the body due to killing of a cow, brahmin, a woman, trust, family and many such-like sins and stigmas performed under the influence of desires.
ਅਨਿਕਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਜੋਰਸਕਲਸੰਸਾਰਸੋਧਪੀਯਕੇਬਿਛੋਹਪਲਏਕਨਪੁਜਾਤਹੈ।੫੭੨।
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਪ੍ਰੋਕਤ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੋੜ ਸਮੂਹ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਧ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਠਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਪਲ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਜਦਾ ॥੫੭੨॥
All the pains of the world put together cannot reach the pain of separation of the Lord even for a moment. (All worldly distresses are trivial compared to the pangs of separation of the Lord). (572)
