ਜੈਸੇਤਉਅਨੇਕਰੋਗੀਆਵਤਹੈਂਬੈਦਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਜੈਸੋਜੈਸੋਰੋਗਤੈਸੋਅਉਖਧੁਖੁਵਾਵਈ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰੋਗੀ ਵੈਦ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਵੈਦ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਵਾਈ ਰੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as several patients come to the house of a medical practitioner, and he administers medicine to each one of them according to their ailment.
ਜੈਸੇਰਾਜਦ੍ਵਾਰਲੋਗਆਵਤਸੇਵਾਨਮਿਤਜੋਈਜਾਹੀਂਜੋਗਤੈਸੀਟਹਿਲਬਤਾਵਈ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਜ ਦੁਆਰੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਵੈਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਉਸ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੇ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as myriad people come to the door of the king to serve him, and each one is told to prefer service that he is capable and fit to do;
ਜੈਸੇਦਾਤਾਪਾਸਜਨਅਰਥੀਅਨੇਕਆਵੈਂਜੋਈਜੋਈਜਾਚੈਦੇਦੇਦੁਖਨਮਿਟਾਵਈ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾਤੇ ਪਾਸ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਵੈਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਭਾਵ ਉਸ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੇ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ
Just as many needy persons come to a kind-hearted donor and he gives them whatever each one asks, thus allaying distress of each one of them.
ਤੈਸੇਗੁਰਸਰਨਆਵਤਹੈਂਅਨੇਕਸਿਖਜੈਸੋਜੈਸੋਭਾਉਤੈਸੀਕਾਮਨਾਪੁਜਾਵਈ।੬੭੪।
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸਿਖ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ; ਪਰ ਜੈਸੀ ਜੈਸੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਉਣੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਵੈਸੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ॥੬੭੪॥
Similarly many Sikhs come into the refuge of the True Guru, and whatever devotion and love one has in the mind the , True Guru fulfils it accordingly. (674)
