ਤੀਰਖਤੰਗਤਤਾਰਚੋਸਦਾਕਰੋਮਮਕਾਮ॥੨੦॥
ਤੀਰ, ਖਤੰਗ (ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੀਰ) ਤਤਾਰਚੋ (ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੀਰ) ਆਦਿਕ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਹ ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਮੇਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਕਰੋ) ॥੨੦॥
O Thou called by various names of the arrows! You may also do my job.20.
ਤੂਣੀਰਾਲੈਸਤ੍ਰਅਰਿਮ੍ਰਿਗਅੰਤਕਸਸਿਬਾਨ॥
ਤੂਣੀਰਾਲੈ (ਭੱਥੇ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਰਿ (ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ) ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਅੰਤਕ (ਹਿਰਨ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਸਸਿਬਾਨ (ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਦਾ) (ਆਦਿਕ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਕਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ)
Thy house is the quiver and Thou killest like deer the enemies by becoming the shaft-power
ਤੁਮਬੈਰਣਪ੍ਰਥਮੈਹਨੋਬਹੁਰੋਬਜੈਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ॥੨੧॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਫਿਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਵਜਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੧॥
Thy reality is that Thou killest the enemies beforehand and the sword strikes later on.21.
ਤੁਮਪਾਟਸਪਾਸੀਪਰਸਪਰਮਸਿਧਿਕੀਖਾਨ॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਟਿਸ (ਲਚਕਦਾਰ ਤਿਖੀ ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ) ਪਾਸੀ (ਫਾਹੀ) ਅਤੇ ਪਰਸ (ਕੁਹਾੜਾ) ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮ ਸਿੱਧੀ (ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ) ਦੀ ਖਾਣ ਹੈਂ।
Thou art the axe which tears away the enemies and also Thou art the noose, which binds down
ਤੇਜਗਕੇਰਾਜਾਭਏਦੀਅਤਵਜਿਹਬਰਦਾਨ॥੨੨॥
ਉਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੨॥
Thou art Supremely Enduring One also on whomsoever Thou didst bestow the boon, Thou didst make him the king of the world.22.
ਸੀਸਸਤ੍ਰੁਅਰਿਅਰਿਯਾਰਿਅਸਿਖੰਡੋਖੜਗਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ॥
(ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਸੀਸ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਰਿ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ) ਅਰਿਆਰ ਅਸਿ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਵੈਰਨ ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਖੰਡਾ, ਖੜਗ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ (ਆਦਿਕ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ, ਉਹ)
Thou art the sword and dagger chopping the enemies and considering Indra as Thy devotee
ਸਤ੍ਰੁਸੁਰੇਸਰਤੁਮਕੀਯੋਭਗਤਆਪੁਨੋਜਾਨਿ॥੨੩॥
ਤੁਸਾਂ ਹੀ (ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਧਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ) ਮੇਘਨਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਗਤ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ॥੨੩॥
Thou didst bestow on him the position of the king of gods.23.
ਜਮਧਰਜਮਦਾੜਾਜਬਰਜੋਧਾਤਕਜਿਹਨਾਇ॥
ਜਮਧਰ, ਜਮਦਾੜ੍ਹ, ਜਬਰ, ਜੋਧਾਂਤਕ (ਜੋ ਕਟਾਰ ਦੇ) ਨਾਂ ਹਨ,
Yamdhaar and Yamdadh and all other names of the weapons fro the destruction of the warriors,
ਲੂਟਕੂਟਲੀਜਤਤਿਨੈਜੇਬਿਨੁਬਾਧੇਜਾਇ॥੨੪॥
(ਜੋ) ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਬਿਨਾ (ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ) ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟ ਕੁਟ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੪॥
Thou hast folded up and bound all their power in Thyself.24.
ਬਾਕਬਜ੍ਰਬਿਛੁਓਬਿਸਿਖਬਿਰਹਬਾਨਸਭਰੂਪ॥
ਬਾਂਕ, ਬਜ੍ਰ, ਬਿਛੂਆ, ਬਿਸਿਖ, ਬਿਰਹ ਬਾਨ (ਆਦਿ) ਸਭ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹਨ।
Baank, Bajar, Bichhuaa and the shafts of love, on whomsoever Thou didst shower Thy Grace,
ਜਿਨਕੋਤੁਮਕਿਰਪਾਕਰੀਭਏਜਗਤਕੇਭੂਪ॥੨੫॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੫॥
They all became the Sovereigns of the world.25.
ਸਸਤ੍ਰੇਸਰਸਮਰਾਤਕਰਿਸਿਪਰਾਰਿਸਮਸੇਰ॥
ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਸੇਰ (ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ) ਸਮਰਾਂਤ ਕਰਿ (ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਸਿਪਰਾਰਿ (ਢਾਲ ਦੀ ਵੈਰਨ ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੇਰ (ਆਦਿਕ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ)
The lion is Thy weapons like the sword in the war, which destroys the enemies
ਮੁਕਤਜਾਲਜਮਕੇਭਏਜਿਨੈਗਹ੍ਰਯੋਇਕਬੇਰ॥੨੬॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਪਕੜ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਜਮ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੨੬॥
He, on whom, Thou didst shower Thy Grace, he was redeemed from th noose of Yama.26.
ਸੈਫਸਰੋਹੀਸਤ੍ਰੁਅਰਿਸਾਰੰਗਾਰਿਜਿਹਨਾਮ॥
ਸੈਫ, ਸਰੋਹੀ, ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਅਰਿ, ਸਾਰੰਗਾਰਿ (ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੀ ਵੈਰਨ) ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਹਨ,
Thou art the Saif and Sarohi and Thy Name is the destroyer of the enemies
ਸਦਾਹਮਾਰੇਚਿਤਿਬਸੋਸਦਾਕਰੋਮਮਕਾਮ॥੨੭॥
(ਉਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੇ ॥੨੭॥
You abide in our heart and fulfil our tasks.27.
ਇਤਿਸ੍ਰੀਨਾਮਮਾਲਾਪੁਰਾਣੇਸ੍ਰੀਭਗਉਤੀਉਸਤਤਿਪ੍ਰਿਥਮਧਿਆਇਸਮਾਪਤਮਸਤੁਸੁਭਮਸਤੁ॥੧॥
ਇਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਲਾ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਗਉਤੀ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ, ਸਭ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

ਪਹਿਲਾ 'ਕਵਚ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਉਤੇ 'ਅਰਿ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਰਖੋ।
Putting the word “Kavach” in the beginning and adding the word Ar-deha at the end,
ਸਭਹੀਨਾਮਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਕੇਜਾਨਚਤੁਰਜੀਅਲੇਹੁ॥੨੮॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਨਾਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਹੇ ਚਤੁਰ ਪੁਰਸ਼ੋ! ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਝ ਲਵੋ ॥੨੮॥
The wise people know all the other names of Kripaan.28.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁਸਬਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈਕਹੋਅੰਤਦੁਸਟਪਦਭਾਖੁ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾ 'ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁ' (ਵੈਰੀ) ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿਚ 'ਦੁਸ਼ਟ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੋਲੋ।
The word “Shatru” is uttered in the beginning and the word “Dusht” is spoken at the end and
ਸਭੈਨਾਮਜਗੰਨਾਥਕੋਸਦਾਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਮੋਰਾਖੁ॥੨੯॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਜਗੰਨਾਥ' (ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਦਾ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ (ਯਾਦ) ਰਖੋ ॥੨੯॥
In this way all the names of Jagnnath are adopted in the heart.29.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀਸਬਦਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੈਭਨੋਪਾਲਕਬਹਰਿਉਚਾਰ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 'ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਆਖੋ, ਫਿਰ 'ਪਾਲਕ' ਸ਼ਬਦ ਉਚਾਰੋ।
Saying the word “Prithvi” in the beginning and then uttering the word “Paalak”
ਸਕਲਨਾਮੁਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੇਸਕੇਸਦਾਹ੍ਰਿਦੈਮੋਧਾਰ॥੩੦॥
ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਾਂ 'ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟੇਸ' (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ-ਤਲਵਾਰ) ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਸਦਾ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ ॥੩੦॥
