ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
बिलावलु महला ५ ॥
ਮਰਿਮਰਿਜਨਮੇਜਿਨਬਿਸਰਿਆਜੀਵਨਕਾਦਾਤਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਸਹੇੜ ਕੇ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਗੇੜ ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Those who forget the Giver of life, die, over and over again, only to be reborn and die.
मरि मरि जनमे जिन बिसरिआ जीवन का दाता ॥
ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਜਨਿਸੇਵਿਆਅਨਦਿਨੁਰੰਗਿਰਾਤਾ॥੧॥
ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
The humble servant of the Supreme Lord God serves Him; night and day, he remains imbued with His Love. ||1||
पारब्रहमु जनि सेविआ अनदिनु रंगि राता ॥१॥
ਸਾਂਤਿਸਹਜੁਆਨਦੁਘਨਾਪੂਰਨਭਈਆਸ॥
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੇਵਕ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਹਰੇਕ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
I have found peace, tranquility and great ecstasy; my hopes have been fulfilled.
सांति सहजु आनदु घना पूरन भई आस ॥
ਸੁਖੁਪਾਇਆਹਰਿਸਾਧਸੰਗਿਸਿਮਰਤਗੁਣਤਾਸ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ) ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਹਰੀ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ (ਸਦਾ) ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
I have found peace in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; I meditate in remembrance on the Lord, the treasure of virtue. ||1||Pause||
सुखु पाइआ हरि साधसंगि सिमरत गुणतास ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਸੁਣਿਸੁਆਮੀਅਰਦਾਸਿਜਨਤੁਮੑਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ॥
ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਤੂੰ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸੇਵਕ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ (ਸਦਾ) ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
O my Lord and Master, please listen to the prayer of Your humble servant; You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts.
सुणि सुआमी अरदासि जन तुम अंतरजामी ॥
ਥਾਨਥਨੰਤਰਿਰਵਿਰਹੇਨਾਨਕਕੇਸੁਆਮੀ॥੨॥੧੪॥੭੮॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥੧੪॥੭੮॥
Nanak's Lord and Master is permeating and pervading all places and interspaces. ||2||14||78||
