ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mahalaa:
बिलावलु महला ५ ॥
ਜੀਅਜੁਗਤਿਵਸਿਪ੍ਰਭੂਕੈਜੋਕਹੈਸੁਕਰਨਾ॥
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਜੁਗਤਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
The living creatures and their ways are in God's power. Whatever He says, they do.
जीअ जुगति वसि प्रभू कै जो कहै सु करना ॥
ਭਏਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਗੋਪਾਲਰਾਇਭਉਕਿਛੁਨਹੀਕਰਨਾ॥੧॥
ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਜਗਤ-ਪਾਲ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਡਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ॥੧॥
When the Sovereign Lord of the Universe is pleased, there is nothing at all to fear. ||1||
भए प्रसंन गोपाल राइ भउ किछु नही करना ॥१॥
ਦੂਖੁਨਲਾਗੈਕਦੇਤੁਧੁਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁਚਿਤਾਰੇ॥
ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਗੁਰਸਿੱਖ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਈ ਰੱਖ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਪੋਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗਾ,
Pain shall never afflict you, if you remember the Supreme Lord God.
दूखु न लागै कदे तुधु पारब्रहमु चितारे ॥
ਜਮਕੰਕਰੁਨੇੜਿਨਆਵਈਗੁਰਸਿਖਪਿਆਰੇ॥੧॥ਰਹਾਉ॥
(ਦੁੱਖ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਹੇ) ਜਮਦੂਤ (ਭੀ) ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The Messenger of Death does not even approach the beloved Sikhs of the Guru. ||1||Pause||
जमकंकरु नेड़ि न आवई गुरसिख पिआरे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
ਕਰਣਕਾਰਣਸਮਰਥੁਹੈਤਿਸੁਬਿਨੁਨਹੀਹੋਰੁ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਸਮਰਥਾ ਵਾਲਾ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
The All-powerful Lord is the Cause of causes; there is no other than Him.
करण कारण समरथु है तिसु बिनु नही होरु ॥
ਨਾਨਕਪ੍ਰਭਸਰਣਾਗਤੀਸਾਚਾਮਨਿਜੋਰੁ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਅਸੀਂ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ, (ਸਾਡੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੫॥੬੯॥
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; the True Lord has given strength to the mind. ||2||5||69||
