(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਨੈਣ ਤੀਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਖੋਟੀ ਮਤ ਨੂੰ (ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾੜਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਚੰਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਖੂਹ ਹਨ ॥੫੯੧॥

ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਇਲ (ਵਾਂਗ ਮਿੱਠਾ) ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਹਿਰਨ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਕੋਇਲ ਵਰਗੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ, ਚਿੱਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦੀ ਤੋਰ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
They have splendid eyes, their utterance is sweet like nightingale and they captivate the mind like the gait of the elephant

ਮਿੱਠ-ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹਨ, ਬੁਰੀ ਮਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮ ਜਿਹੀ ਛਬੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੱਥਾਂ, ਹੱਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਗਜਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀਆਂ ਆਦਿਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੰਡਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੇਸ ਗਲ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ॥੫੯੩॥

These heavenly damsels of elegant cheeks and unique beauty, have wreaths of gems on various parts of their bodies

ਕੁੰਡਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਬੀ ਸ਼ੋਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜੀਭਾਂ ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪਹੁੰਚੀਗਜਰਾਰੰਸੁਬਿਧਸੁਧਾਰੰਮੁਕਤਨਿਹਾਰੰਉਰਧਾਰੰ॥
ਪਹੁੰਚੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਜਰੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਰ ਗਲ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੇਕ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਜਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਮਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਬਿਖਧਰਮ੍ਰਿਗਜੈਸੇਜਲਜਨਵੈਸੇਸਸੀਅਰਜੈਸੇਸਰਮਾਜੇ॥੫੯੫॥
(ਨੇਤਰ) ਨਾਗਣ ਵਰਗੇ ਤੇਜ਼, ਹਿਰਨ ਜਿਹੇ ਚੰਚਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਲਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਖਿੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਉਜਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੯੫॥
With antimony in their eyes and dyed in various coulurs they look splendid with their beautiful eyes. In this way, their eyes, assaulting like poisonous serpents, but innocent like deer, they are winsome like lotus and moon.595.

The foolish Ravana was highly infuriated in the war when the terrible war began amidst violent resonance,
ਜੂਝੇਸਕਲਸੂਰਮਾਸੁਧੰ॥
ਚੰਗੇ-ਚੰਗੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
ਅਰਦਲਮਧਿਸਬਦਕਰਉਧੰ॥੫੯੬॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਦਲ ਵਿੱਚ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਉੱਚੀ ਸੁਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੫੯੬॥

ਮਾੜੀ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲਾ (ਰਾਵਣ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ, ਚੰਗੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਰੋਕ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਤੀਰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ
That demon of vicious intellect, holding arrows in his hand and highly enraged marched forward to wage a war.

(ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ) ਛੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੀਰ (ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਨਿਕਲ ਚੱਲੇ ਹਨ,

ਤੀਰ ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀ ਛੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ (ਮੁਕਾਉਣ ਲਈ) ਸੂਰਮੇ ਜੁਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਕਵਚ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਫ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

(ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਮਾਸ ਖਾਣੇ ਭੁੱਖਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਝਪਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਚਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,

ਪਰ ਮੋੜਿਆਂ ਮੁੜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗਜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਭੱਜਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਲੱਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
They fight face to face and don not run away seeing them waging war even the gods feel shy.
ਜੈਜੈਧੁਨਕਰਹੀਪੁਹਪਨਡਰਹੀਸੁਬਿਧਿਉਚਰਹੀਜੈਜੰਗੰ॥੫੯੯॥
ਜੈ-ਜੈ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਫੁੱਲ ਸੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਜੈ-ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੯੯॥
The gods seeing the terrible war shower flowers with the sound of ‘hail, hail they also hail the fight in the war arena.599.
