ਕਾਹੂੰਰਹੀਕਛੂਸੁਧਨਾਹੀ॥
ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਵੀ ਡਿਗਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।
There was great tumult in the whole city and none of the residents was in his senses
ਨਰਨਾਰੀਡੋਲਤਦੁਖਿਆਰੇ॥
ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ
ਜਾਨੁਕਗਿਰੇਜੂਝਿਜੁਝਿਆਰੇ॥੮੫੧॥
(ਅਤੇ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ) ਰਾਮ ਕੀ ਕੌਤਕ ਵਰਤਾ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੮੫੨॥
The men and women staggered like the warriors writhing after falling during fight in the battlefield.851.
ਸਗਰਨਗਰਮਹਿਪਰਗਈਰਉਰਾ॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਨ ਕਰਕੇ) ਭਰਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਯੋਗ ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ
ਬਯਾਕੁਲਗਿਰੇਹਸਤਅਰੁਘੋਰਾ॥
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਯੋਗ-ਅਗਨੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਲਈ।

ਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਢੰਗ (ਲੱਛਮਣ ਨੇ ਵੀ) ਕੀਤੇ
ਜੋਗਅਗਨਤਨਤੇਉਪਰਾਜੀ॥
ਲੱਛਮਣ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤੇ।

ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰੰਧ੍ਰਝਟਦੈਕਰਫੋਰਾ॥
ਫਿਰ ਸ਼ਤਰੂਘਨ (ਲਵਅਰਿ) ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਰੰਧ੍ਰ ਫਟ ਗਿਆ
ਪ੍ਰਭਸੌਚਲਤਅੰਗਨਹੀਮੋਰਾ॥੮੫੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੮੫੪॥
With a jerk got his Brahmrandhra burst and definitely went towards Ram.853.
ਸਕਲਜੋਗਕੇਕੀਏਬਿਧਾਨਾ॥
ਲਵ ਤੇ ਕੁਸ਼ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਉਥੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ
ਲਛਮਨਤਜੇਤੈਸਹੀਪ੍ਰਾਨਾ॥
ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਤੇ ਸੀਤਾ ਦਾ ਦਾਹ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ
Lakshman alos did this, practicing all types of Yoga he gave up his life.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰੰਧ੍ਰਲਵਅਰਿਫੁਨਫੂਟਾ॥
ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਪ੍ਰਭਚਰਨਨਤਰਪ੍ਰਾਨਨਿਖੂਟਾ॥੮੫੪॥
ਲਵ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਛੱਤਰ ਝੁਲਣ ਲੱਗਿਆ ॥੮੫੫॥
Then the Brahmrandhra of Shatrughan also burst and he breathed his last to be at the feet of the Lord.854.
ਲਵਕੁਸਦੋਊਤਹਾਚਲਗਏ॥
ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਉਥੇ ਆ ਗਈਆਂ
ਰਘੁਬਰਸੀਅਹਿਜਰਾਵਤਭਏ॥
ਅਤੇ (ਪਤੀਆਂ) ਨਾਲ ਸਤੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
Lava and Kusha both came forward and performed the funeral rites of Ram and Sita
ਅਰਪਿਤਭ੍ਰਾਤਤਿਹੂੰਕਹਦਹਾ॥
ਲਵ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ (ਕੋਸ਼ਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ) ਰਾਜ-ਸਾਜ ਧਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ।
ਰਾਜਛਤ੍ਰਲਵਕੇਸਿਰਰਹਾ॥੮੫੫॥
ਤਿੰਨਾਂ (ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੇ) ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਕੁੰਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੮੫੬॥

ਸੰਗਿਸਤੀਹ੍ਵੈਸੁਰਗਸਿਧਾਈ॥
ਪੂਰਬ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਭਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
The wives of the three brothers came there and they also became Satis and left for the heavenly abode.
ਲਵਸਿਰਧਰਾਰਾਜਕਾਸਾਜਾ॥
ਦੱਖਣ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਲੱਛਮਣ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਤਿਹੂੰਅਨਤਿਹੂੰਕੁੰਟਕੀਅਰਾਜਾ॥੮੫੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ-ਤਖ਼ਤ ਉਤੇ) ਸ਼ਤਰੂਘਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ ॥੮੫੭॥

ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਸ਼ (ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਆਪ ਕੁਸ਼ ਨੇ ਲਿਆ,

ਪੂਰਬ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਭਰਤ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਦਛਨਦੀਅਲਛਨਕੇਬਾਲਾ॥
ਦੱਖਣ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਲੱਛਮਣ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਪਛਮਸਤ੍ਰੁਘਨਸੁਤਬੈਠਾਲਾ॥੮੫੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਪੱਛਮ (ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ-ਤਖ਼ਤ ਉਤੇ) ਸ਼ਤਰੂਘਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ ॥੮੫੭॥
Kusha himself ruled over the north, the son of Bharat was given the kingship of the south and the son of Shatrughan the kingship of the west.857.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਨਗਰੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਸੁਅਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੮੫੮॥
The story of Ram remain immortal throughout the ages and in this way Ram went to abide in heaven alongwith (all the resident of) the city.858.
ਇਤਿਰਾਮਭਿਰਾਤਤ੍ਰੀਅਨਸਹਿਤਸੁਰਗਗਏਅਰਸਗਰੀਪੁਰੀਸਹਿਤਸੁਰਗਗਏਧਿਆਇਸਮਾਪਤਮ॥
ਇਥੇ ਰਾਮ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਸਹਿਤ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਸਗਰੀ ਪੁਰੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਸ੍ਵਰਗ ਗਏ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ।

ਬਿਸਨਭਗਤਿਕੀਏਫਲਹੋਈ॥
ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ (ਇਹੀ ਫਲ) ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ
ਆਧਿਬਯਾਧਿਛ੍ਵੈਸਕੈਨਕੋਇ॥੮੫੯॥
ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਆਧਿ ਜਾਂ ਬਿਆਧਿ (ਉਸ ਭਗਤ ਨੂੰ) ਛੋਹ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੇਗੀ ॥੮੫੯॥
He, who will listen to this story and sing it, he will be free from the sufferings and sins. The reward of the devotion to Vishnu (and his incarnation Ram) that no ailment of any kind will touch him.859.
