ਹਰਿ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਆਗਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ,
ਜਾਇਰੂਪਤੁਮਹੂੰਧਰੋਹਉਹੂੰਧਰਿਹੌਆਇ॥੧੩॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ (ਗੋਕੁਲ ਵਿਚ) ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਵੀ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ॥੧੩॥
Then the Lord called all the gods and ordered them to incarnate before him.13.
ਬਾਤਸੁਨੀਜਬਦੇਵਤਨਕੋਟਿਪ੍ਰਨਾਮਜੁਕੀਨ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ (ਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਦੀ ਇਹ) ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ, (ਤਾਂ) ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਵਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ
ਆਪਸਮੇਤਸੁਧਾਮੀਐਲੀਨੇਰੂਪਨਵੀਨ॥੧੪॥
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ ॥੧੪॥
When the gods heard this, they bowed and assumed the new forms of cowherds alongwith their wives.14.
ਰੂਪਧਰੇਸਭਸੁਰਨਯੌਭੂਮਿਮਾਹਿਇਹਭਾਇ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ (ਨਵੇਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਆਏ।
ਅਬਲੀਲਾਸ੍ਰੀਦੇਵਕੀਮੁਖਤੇਕਹੋਸੁਨਾਇ॥੧੫॥
ਹੁਣ ਦੇਵਕੀ ਦੀ ਲੀਲ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖੋਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ॥੧੫॥
In this way, all the gods assumed new forms on the earth and now I narrate the story of Devaki.15.

(ਤਦੋਂ) ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ (ਉਸ) ਲਈ ਵਰ ਲਭਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ॥੧੭॥
When that beautiful girl reached the marriageable age, then the king asked his men to search for a suitable match for her.17.

ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਇ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ
ਮਦਨਬਦਨਸੁਖਕੋਸਦਨੁਲਖੈਤਤਕੋਭੇਵ॥੧੮॥
(ਜੋ) ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਸਮਾਨ (ਸੁੰਦਰ) ਮੁਖੜੇ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ ॥੧੮॥
The consul was sent, who approved the selection of Vasudev, whose face was like cupid and who was the abode of all comforts and master of discriminating intellect.18.

(ਦੂਤ ਨੇ) ਜਾ ਕੇ 'ਬਸੁਦੇਵ' ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਤਿਲਕ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਰੀਅਲ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Putting a cocoanut in the lap of Vasudev and blessing him, a frontal mark was put on his forehead

(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਵਡਿਆਈ (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ) ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜੋ ਮਿਠਿਆਈ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਮਿੱਠੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ) ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗੀ।

ਜੋ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਈ, ਉਹੀ (ਸੋਭਾ) ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਾਈ, (ਜੋ) ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਅਥਵਾ ਪਟਰਾਣੀ) ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗੀ।

(ਇਸ ਨਵੇਂ ਸੰਬੰਧ) ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੇ ਗਾਈ ਅਤੇ (ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ) ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਅਗੇ ਗਾਈ ਹੈ, ਉਹ (ਉਥੋਂ ਅਗੇ) ਇਕ ਲੋਕ ਕੀ, ਵੀਹ-ਤੀਹ ਲੋਕ ਤਕ ਪਸਰ ਗਈ ਹੈ। (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਸਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ) ॥੧੯॥
His praises were sung in the whole world, which echoed not only in this world but also penetrated into twenty thirty other regions.19.

All the people of the world were filled with joy and the musical instruments were played.20.

ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਸਣਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਬਿਠਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ) ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ।
ਕੁੰਕਮਕੋਘਸਕੈਕਰਿਪੁਰੋਹਿਤਬੇਦਨਕੀਧੁਨਿਸਿਉਤਿਹਲਾਯੋ॥
ਪ੍ਰੋਹਤ ਨੇ ਕੇਸਰ ਘਸਾ ਕੇ, ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਚਾਰਣ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ) ਨੂੰ (ਤਿਲਕ) ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
The seats were presented to Brahmins respectfully, who, reciting Vedic mantras and rubbing saffron etc. applied it on the forehead of Vasudev
ਡਾਰਤਫੂਲਪੰਚਾਮ੍ਰਿਤਿਅਛਤਮੰਗਲਚਾਰਭਇਓਮਨਭਾਯੋ॥
(ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਉਪਰ) ਫੁਲ ਵਰਸਾਏ ਗਏ, ਪੰਚਾਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਤੇ ਚਾਵਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਲਾਚਾਰ (ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ) (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ (ਪੂਜਨ) ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਭਾਟਕਲਾਵੰਤਅਉਰਗੁਨੀਸਭਲੈਬਖਸੀਸਮਹਾਜਸੁਗਾਯੋ॥੨੧॥
ਭੰਡ, ਕਲੌਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਯਸ਼ ਗਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਖਸ਼ੀਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ॥੨੧॥
They mixed also the flowers and panchamrit and sang songs of praise. On this occasion the ministrels, artists and talented persons eulogized them and received awards.21.

ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਞੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
ਤਬੈਕਾਜਚਲਬੇਨਿਮਿਤਮਥੁਰਾਮੈਮਨੁਦੀਨ॥੨੨॥
ਉਪਰੰਤ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਵਲ ਚਲਣ ਲਈ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੨॥
Vasudev made all the preparations for wedding and made arrangements for going to Mathura.22.
ਬਾਸਦੇਵਕੋਆਗਮਨਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨਸੁਨਿਲੀਨ॥
ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ (ਜਦੋਂ) ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਲਿਆ
ਚਮੂਸਬੈਚਤੁਰੰਗਨੀਭੇਜਿਅਗਾਊਦੀਨ॥੨੩॥
(ਤਾਂ) ਚਾਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਗਵਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ॥੨੩॥
When Ugarsain came to know of the arrival of Vasudev, he sent his four types of forces to welcome him, in advance.23.

ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਲ ਪਏ।
ਲਾਲਕਰੇਪਟਪੈਡਰਕੇਸਰਰੰਗਭਰੇਪ੍ਰਤਿਨਾਪਤਿਕੈਸੇ॥
ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਪੜਿਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਕੇਸਰ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਲਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
The forces of both sides moved for mutual union all of them had tied red turbans and they looked very impressive filled with joy and gaiety
ਰੰਚਕਤਾਛਬਿਢੂੰਢਿਲਈਕਬਿਨੈਮਨਕੇਫੁਨਿਭੀਤਰਮੈਸੇ॥
ਉਸ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਥੋੜੀ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਢੂੰਡ ਲਈ ਹੈ
ਦੇਖਨਕਉਤਕਿਬਿਆਹਹਿਕੋਨਿਕਸੇਇਹੁਕੁੰਕੁਮਆਨੰਦਜੈਸੇ॥੨੪॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਦੇ ਕੌਤਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਹੀ ਕੇਸਰ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੪॥
The poet briefly mentioning that beauty says that they seemed like the beds of saffron coming out of their abode in order to see this delightful spectacle of the wedding.24.

ਤਦੋਂ ਫਿਰ (ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ) ਵੰਨ ਸੁਵੰਨੀਆਂ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ (ਸਿਠਣੀਆਂ) ਦੇਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੨੫॥
Kansa and Vasudev hugged each other to his bosom and then began to shower gifts of various types of colourful satires.25.

(ਤਦੋਂ) ਧੌਂਸੇ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਂਞੀ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ।
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੋਨਿਰਖਾਇਹਰਖਭਇਓਹਰਿਖਾਇਕੈ॥੨੬॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਰੌਣਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਵੀ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ॥੨੬॥
Beating their drums, they came near Mathura and all the people were pleased to see their elegance.26.
