ਆਵਤਕੋਸੁਨਿਕੈਬਸੁਦੇਵਹਿਰੂਪਸਜੇਅਪੁਨੇਤਨਿਨਾਰੀ॥
ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦਾ (ਜੰਞ ਨਾਲ) ਆਉਣਾ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਗਾਵਤਗੀਤਬਜਾਵਤਤਾਲਿਦਿਵਾਵਤਿਆਵਤਨਾਗਰਿਗਾਰੀ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸੁਘੜ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ, ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ (ਅਤੇ ਸਿਠਣੀਆਂ) ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
Hearing the arrival of Vasudev, all the bedecked women began to sing in tune and showered satires on the coming marriage party
ਕੋਠਨਪੈਨਿਰਖੈਚੜਿਤਾਸਨਿਤਾਛਬਿਕੀਉਪਮਾਜੀਅਧਾਰੀ॥
(ਕਈ) ਕੋਠਿਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ (ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੀ
ਬੈਠਿਬਿਵਾਨਕੁਟੰਬਸਮੇਤਸੁਦੇਖਤਦੇਵਨਕੀਮਹਤਾਰੀ॥੨੭॥
(ਮਾਨੋ) ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਂਵਾਂ ਕੁਟੰਬਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਵਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਵੇਖਣ (ਲਈ ਆਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ) ॥੨੭॥
The poet, mentioning the beauty of the women seeing from their roofs said that they appeared like the mothers of the gods seeing the marriage party from their airvehicles.27.

ਬਾਸੁਦੇਵਆਇਓਰਾਜੈਮੰਡਲਬਨਾਇਓਮਨਿਮਹਾਸੁਖਪਾਇਓਤਾਕੋਆਨਨਨਿਰਖਕੈ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਆਇਆ (ਤਾਂ) ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਸਭਾ-ਸਥਾਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
On the arrival of Vasudev, the king got the pavilion constructed, and he was very much pleased on seeing his beautiful face
ਸੁਗੰਧਿਲਗਾਯੋਰਾਗਗਾਇਨਨਗਾਯੋਤਿਸੈਬਹੁਤਦਿਵਾਯੋਬਰਲਿਆਯੋਜੋਪਰਖਕੈ॥
ਅਤਰ ਆਦਿ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗਵੱਈਆਂ ਨੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ। (ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ) ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ (ਧਨ) ਦਿਵਾਇਆ (ਜੋ) ਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਖ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਛਾਤੀਹਾਥਲਾਯੋਸੀਸਨਿਆਯੋਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨਤਬੈਆਦਰਪਠਾਯੋਪੂਜਮਨਮੈਹਰਖਕੈ॥
ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ) ਛਾਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ। (ਫਿਰ) ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਆਦਰ (ਨਾਲ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ) ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੂਜਾ ਅਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
Ugarsain worshipped the match by putting his hand on his breast, joyfully bowing his head and getting pleased in his mind
ਭਯੋਜਨੁਮੰਗਨਨਭੂਮਿਪਰਬਾਦਰਸੋਰਾਜਾਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨਗਯੋਕੰਚਨਬਰਖਕੈ॥੨੮॥
ਮੁੜ (ਕੋਈ) ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੰਗਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਰਾਜੇ ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਬਦਲ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੨੮॥
At this time the king Ugarsain appeared like the heavenly cloud showering gold, he gave in charity innumerable gold coins to the beggars.28.

ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਕੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ
ਕਹਿਓਸਾਥਤੁਮਜਾਇਕੈਦੇਹੁਭੰਡਾਰੁਖੁਲਾਇ॥੨੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ॥੨੯॥
Then Ugarsain called Kansa near him and said, “Go and open the doors of the stores for charity.”29.
ਅਉਰਸਮਗਰੀਅੰਨਕੀਲੈਜਾਤਾਕੇਪਾਸਿ॥
ਅੰਨ (ਆਦਿ) ਹੋਰ ਸਾਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਜਾ।
ਕਰਿਪ੍ਰਨਾਮੁਤਾਕੋਤਬੈਇਉਕਰਿਯੋਅਰਦਾਸਿ॥੩੦॥
(ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰੀਂ, (ਫਿਰ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੀਂ ॥੩੦॥
Bringing the materials like corn etc. and bowing down, he requested Vasudev thus.30.
ਕਾਲਰਾਤ੍ਰਕੋਬ੍ਯਾਹਹੈਕੰਸਹਿਕਹੀਸੁਨਾਇ॥
ਕੰਸ ਨੇ (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਖੀ ਕਿ ਕਲ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੈ।
ਬਾਸੁਦੇਵਪੁਰੋਹਿਤਕਹੀਭਲੀਜੁਤੁਮੈਸੁਹਾਇ॥੩੧॥
(ਅਗੋਂ) ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਉਹੀ) ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ॥੩੧॥
Kansa said, “The marriage has been fixed for the night of Amavas (the dark night) ” on this the priest of Vasudev gave his acceptance saying “as you please”.31.
ਕੰਸਕਹਿਓਕਰਿਜੋਰਿਤਬਸਬੈਬਾਤਕੋਭੇਵ॥
ਕੰਸ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਕਹਿ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਮਝਾ) ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸਾਧਿਸਾਧਿਪੰਡਿਤਕਹਿਯੋਅਸਮਾਨੀਬਸੁਦੇਵ॥੩੨॥
(ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰੋਹਿਤ ਨੇ (ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ) ਭਲਾ ਭਲਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ ॥੩੨॥
Then coming on this side, Kansa with folded hands related all the happenings and when the Pundits came to know that the people of vasudev had accepted the date and time of wedding, then all gave their blessings to him within their minds.32.

ਰਾਤਿਬਿਤੀਤਭਈਅਰਪ੍ਰਾਤਿਭਈਫਿਰਿਰਾਤਿਤਬੈਚੜਿਆਏ॥
ਰਾਤ ਬੀਤ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਫਿਰ (ਜਦ) ਰਾਤ ਹੋਈ, ਤਦੋਂ (ਜਾਂਞੀ) ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ।
ਛਾਡਿਦਏਹਥਿਫੂਲਹਜਾਰਦੋਊਭੁਚਪ੍ਰਯੋਧਰਐਸਿਫਿਰਾਏ॥
ਦੋ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਫੁਲਝੜੀਆਂ ਚਲਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਿਸ਼ਬਾਜੀ ਦੇ ਬੁਰਜ ('ਊਭੁਚ') ਬਦਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂ (ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ) ਫਿਰਦੇ ਸਨ।
The night passed, the day dawned and again the night fell and then during that night, the fireworks were displayed, scattering the colour of thousands of flowers
ਅਉਰਹਵਾਈਚਲੀਨਭਕੋਉਪਮਾਤਿਨਕੀਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਨਾਏ॥
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਲ ਹਵਾਈਆਂ ਚਲਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਦੇਖਹਿਕਉਤਕਦੇਵਸਬੈਤਿਹਤੇਮਨੋਕਾਗਦਕੋਟਿਪਠਾਏ॥੩੩॥
ਕਿ (ਇਸ) ਕੌਤਕ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਣ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਗਦ ਦੇ ਕਿਲੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਲ) ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੩੩॥
Seeing the flying fireworks in the sky, the poet Shyam says this figuratively that it appear to him that the gods were flying the citadels of paper in the sky, seeing this miracle.33.
ਲੈਬਸੁਦੇਵਕੋਅਗ੍ਰਪੁਰੋਹਿਤਕੰਸਹਿਕੇਚਲਿਧਾਮਗਏਹੈ॥
ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਨੂੰ ਅਗੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਹਿਤ ਕੰਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਗਏ।
ਆਗੇਤੇਨਾਰਿਭਈਇਕਲੇਹਿਸਗਾਗਰਪੰਡਿਤਡਾਰਿਦਏਹੈ॥
ਅਗੋਂ ਇਕ ਇਸਤਰੀ (ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ) ਗਾਗਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਉਤੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
The priests taking Vasudev with them, are going towards the home of Kansa and seeing a beautiful woman in front of them, the Pundits caused her metallic pitcher to fall
ਡਾਰਿਦਏਲਡੂਆਗਹਿਝਾਟਨਿਤਾਕੋਸੋਊਵੇਤੋਭਛਗਏਹੈ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ (ਝੋਲੀ ਵਿਚ) ਕਾਲੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਗਲੇਫੇ) ਲਡੂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਖਾ ਗਏ।
ਜਾਦਵਬੰਸਦੁਹੂੰਦਿਸਤੇਸੁਨਿਕੈਸੁਅਨੇਕਿਕਹਾਸਭਏਹੈ॥੩੪॥
(ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਸੇ ਠੱਠੇ ਕੀਤੇ ॥੩੪॥
From which the sweetmeats have fallen out with a jerk they have taken up and eaten these sweetmeats knowing all about it, both the sides of Yadava clan have been ridiculed in various ways.34.

ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਜੋ) ਹੌਲੀ ਸੁਰ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The women singing and playing their musical instruments and chanting their satirical songs look very impressive
ਕੇਹਰਿਸੀਕਟਿਅਉਕੁਰੰਗਨਸੇਦ੍ਰਿਗਜਾਕੇਗਜਕੈਸੀਚਾਲਮਨਭਾਵਤਸੁਆਵਤੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਰਗੇ (ਪਤਲੇ) ਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਚੰਚਲ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਤੋਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਮਸਤ ਹੈ।
They have slim waist like lions, eyes like does and gait like elephants.
ਮੋਤਿਨਕੇਚਉਕਿਕਰੇਲਾਲਨਕੇਖਾਰੇਧਰੇਬੈਠੇਤਬੈਦੋਊਦੂਲਹਿਦੁਲਹੀਸੁਹਾਵਤੀ॥
ਉਹ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਲਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। (ਪੰਡਿਤਾਂ ਨੇ) ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਚੌਂਕ ਪੂਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਾਰੇ ਰਖੇ ਹਨ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਬੈਠੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਲਾੜਾ-ਲਾੜੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Within the square of gems and on the seats of diamonds and jewels, the bride and bridegroom both look splendid
ਬੇਦਨਕੀਧੁਨਿਕੀਨੀਬਹੁਦਛਨਾਦਿਜਨਦੀਨੀਲੀਨੀਸਾਤਭਾਵਰੈਜੋਭਾਵਤੇਸੋਭਾਵਤੀ॥੩੫॥
(ਪੰਡਿਤਾਂ ਨੇ) ਵੇਦ ਮੰਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ) ਨੇ ਪੰਡਿਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੱਛਣਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ) 'ਸੱਤ ਫੇਰੇ' ਲਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸੁਭਾਵਿਕ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੫॥
Within the chanting of Vedic mantras and giving and taking of religious gifts, the marriage ceremony was completed with seven matrimonial rounds by God’s will. 35.

ਰਾਤਿਭਏਬਸੁਦੇਵਜੂਕੀਨੋਤਹਾਬਿਲਾਸ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਰਾਤ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਉਥੇ (ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਹਾਸ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਤਭਏਉਠਕੈਤਬੈਗਇਓਸਸੁਰਕੇਪਾਸਿ॥੩੬॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਦਿਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਸੌਹਰੇ ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਕੋਲ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ॥੩੬॥
During the night Vasudev stayed at some place and getting up in the morning, he went to meet his father-in-law Ugarsain.36.

ਸਾਜਸਮੇਤਦਏਗਜਆਯੁਤਸੁਅਉਰਦਏਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਣੀਰਥਨਾਰੇ॥
(ਉਗ੍ਰਸੈਨ ਨੇ ਦਾਜ ਵਿਚ) ਸਾਜਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਰਥ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਲਛਭਟੰਦਸਲਛਤੁਰੰਗਮਊਟਅਨੇਕਭਰੇਜਰਭਾਰੇ॥
ਇਕ ਲੱਖ ਯੋਧੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਦਸ ਲੱਖ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ (ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਦੌਲਤ ਨਾਲ ਲਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਊਠ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Bedecked elephants and horses and threefold chariots were given (in marriage), one lakh warriors, ten lakhs of horses and many camels laden with gold were given
ਛਤੀਸਕੋਟਦਏਦਲਪੈਦਲਸੰਗਿਕਿਧੋਤਿਨਕੇਰਖਵਾਰੇ॥
ਛੱਤੀ ਕ੍ਰੋੜ ਪੈਦਲ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਨਾਲ ਤੋਰੇ ਹੋਣ।
ਕੰਸਤਬੈਤਿਹਰਾਖਨਕਉਮਨੋਆਪਭਏਰਥਕੇਹਕਵਾਰੇ॥੩੭॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕੰਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਮਾਨੋ ਆਪ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਹਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ (ਰਥਵਾਨ) ਬਣਿਆ ॥੩੭॥
Thirty-six crores of soldiers on foot were given, who seemed to be given for the protection of all and Kansa himself became the charioteer of Devaki and Vasudev and for the protection of all.37.

ਉਦੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣਿਓ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਧਾਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ॥੩੮॥
When Kansa was going with all the forces, he heard, on going forward, an invisible and inauspicious voice.38.
ਨਭਿਬਾਨੀਬਾਚਕੰਸਸੋ॥
ਆਕਾਸ਼-ਬਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਕੰਸ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਿਹਾ
The heavenly speech addressed to Kansa:

ਦੁਖਕੋਹਰਿਨਬਿਧਸਿਧਿਕੇਕਰਨਰੂਪਮੰਗਲਧਰਨਐਸੋਕਹਿਯੋਹੈਉਚਾਰਕੈ॥
ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ) ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਣੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ,
The Lord, remover of suffering, performer of austerities for great powers and bestower of prosperity, said through the heavenly speech,
ਲੀਏਕਹਾਜਾਤਤੇਰੋਕਾਲਹੈਰੇਮੂੜਮਤਿਆਠਵੋਗਰਭਯਾਕੋਤੋਕੋਡਾਰੈਮਾਰਿਹੈ॥
ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ ਮਤ (ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਸ!) ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਥੇ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ? (ਇਹ ਤਾਂ) ਤੇਰਾ ਕਾਲ ਹੈ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਾ) ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਬੱਚਾ ('ਗਰਭ') ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
“O fool! where are you taking your death? The eighth son of this (Devaki) will be the cause of your death
