ਪਉਨਚਲੈਨਰਹੈਜਮੁਨਾਥਿਰਮੋਹਿਰਹੈਧੁਨਿਜੋਸੁਨਿਪਾਵੈ॥੪੭੪॥
(ਉਸ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸੁਰ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਨਾਲ) ਪੌਣ ਚਲਣੋ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਮਨਾ ਵੀ ਵਗਣੋ ਹਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਹੋਰ ਵੀ) ਜੋ (ਬੰਸਰੀ ਦੀ) ਧੁੰਨ ਸੁਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪੭੪॥
Taking his flute in his hand, Krishna is playing on it and listening to its sound the wind and Yamuna have become motionless, whosoever listens to his tune, gets allured.474.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਜਾਵਤਹੈਸੁਰਸੋਫੁਨਿਗੋਪਿਨਕੇਮਨਮੈਜੋਊਭਾਵੈ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਸੁਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮੁਰਲੀ ਨੂੰ) ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
Krishna is playing on the flute whatever pleases the gopis
ਰਾਮਕਲੀਅਰੁਸੁਧਮਲ੍ਰਹਾਰਬਿਲਾਵਲਕੀਅਤਿਹੀਠਟਪਾਵੈ॥
ਰਾਮਕਲੀ, ਸੁੱਧ ਮਲ੍ਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲਾਵਲ (ਰਾਗ) ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਠਾਠ ਬਝਦਾ ਹੈ।
Ramkali, shuddh Malhar and Bilawal are being played in an extremely charming way hearing the sound of the flute,
ਰੀਝਿਰਹੈਸੁਸੁਰੀਅਸੁਰੀਮ੍ਰਿਗਛਾਡਿਮ੍ਰਿਗੀਬਨਕੀਚਲਿਆਵੈ॥
ਦੇਵ-ਕੰਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ-ਕੰਨਿਆਂ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਹਿਰਨੀਆਂ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ (ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਕੋਲ) ਭਜ ਕੇ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਸੋਮੁਰਲੀਮਹਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਮਨੋਕਰਿਰਾਗਨਰੂਪਦਿਖਾਵੈ॥੪੭੫॥
ਉਸ ਮੁਰਲੀ (ਨੂੰ ਵਜਾਉਣ) ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਇਤਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ਹੈ ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵਿਖਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੪੭੫॥
The wives of gods and demons are all getting pleased and the does of the forest are coming running abandoning their deers. Krishna is so much expert in playing on the flute that he is manifesting virtually the musical modes themselves.475.
ਸੁਨਕੈਮੁਰਲੀਧੁਨਿਕਾਨਰਕੀਮਨਮੈਸਭਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਰੀਝਿਰਹੀਹੈ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਮੁਰਲੀ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਜੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਲੋਗਨਬਾਤਕਹੀਤਿਨਹੂੰਫੁਨਿਊਪਰਿਸੀਸਸਹੀਹੈ॥
ਜੋ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਤ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਊਜ ਲਾਈ ਹੈ) ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਰ ਮੱਥੇ ਸਹਿ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
Listening to the sound of the flute all the gopis are getting pleased and they are enduring all sorts of talks of the people gently
ਸਾਮੁਹਿਧਾਇਚਲੀਹਰਿਕੇਉਪਮਾਤਿਹਕੀਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੀਹੈ॥
ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਪੇਖਿਸਮਸਨਕੇਮੁਖਧਾਇਚਲੀਮਿਲਿਜੂਥਅਹੀਹੈ॥੪੭੬॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਲਾਲ ਰੰਗ ਦੇ ਕੀੜਿਆਂ ('ਸਮਸਨ') ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਨਾਗਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੁੰਡ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਪਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੪੭੬॥
They are running towards Krishna like the gathering of serpents springing of red worms.476.
ਜਿਨਿਰੀਝਿਬਿਭੀਛਨਰਾਜੁਦਯੋਕੁਪਕੈਦਸਸੀਸਦਈਜਿਨਿਪੀੜਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਰੀਝ ਕੇ ਵਿਭੀਸ਼ਣ ਨੂੰ (ਲੰਕਾ ਦਾ) ਰਾਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
He, who, being pleased, gave kingdom to Vibhishana and being enraged, destroyed Ravana
ਮਾਰੁਤਹ੍ਵੈਦਲਦੈਤਨਕੋਛਿਨਮੈਘਨਸੋਕਰਦੀਨਉਝੀੜਾ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੇ) ਪੌਣ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਰੂਪ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਜਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
He who chops into bits the demon forces in an instant, humiliating them
ਜਾਹਿਮਰਿਯੋਮੁਰਨਾਮਮਹਾਸੁਰਆਪਨਹੀਲੰਘਿਮਾਰਗੁਭੀੜਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੁਰ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਸੋਫੁਨਿਭੂਮਿਬਿਖੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੀਸੰਗਿਗੋਪਿਨਕੈਸੁਕਰੈਰਸਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ॥੪੭੭॥
ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਸ ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੪੭੭॥
Who killed the demon named Mur, the same Krishna is now absorbed in amorous play with the gopis in Braja477
ਖੇਲਤਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਸੋਊਤਿਨਸੋਜਿਹਕੀਸੁਕਰੈਸਭਹੀਜਗਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਓਹੀ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗ ਯਾਤ੍ਰਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ) ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਸਭਹੀਜਗਕੋਪਤਿਹੈਤਿਨਜੀਵਨਕੇਬਲਕੀਪਰਮਾਤ੍ਰਾ॥
ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਹੈ।
The same Krishna is absorbed in the amorous play, whom the whole world appreciated, he is the Lord of all the world and is the support of the life of the whole world
ਰਾਮਹ੍ਵੈਰਾਵਨਸੋਜਿਨਹੂੰਕੁਪਿਜੁਧਕਰਿਯੋਕਰਿਕੈਪ੍ਰਮਛਾਤ੍ਰਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਮ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ (ਛਤ੍ਰੀਪੁਣੇ) ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
He, as Ram, in extreme ire, performing his duty of a Kshatriya, had waged a war with Ravana
ਸੋਹਰਿਬੀਚਅਹੀਰਿਨਕੇਕਰਿਬੇਕਹੁਕਉਤੁਕਕੀਨਸੁਨਾਤ੍ਰਾ॥੪੭੮॥
ਉਸੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੌਤਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ (ਇਹ) ਨਾਤਾ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੪੭੮॥
The same is absorbed in sporting with the gopis.478.

ਜਬੈਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਸੰਗਗੋਪੀਅਨਕਰੀਮਾਨੁਖੀਬਾਨ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੰਯੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ)
ਸਭਗੋਪੀਤਬਯੌਲਖਿਯੋਭਯੋਬਸ੍ਰਯਭਗਵਾਨ॥੪੭੯॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ (ਸਾਡੇ) ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੪੭੯॥
When Krishna behaved with the gopis like men, then all the gopis believed in their mind that then they had subdued the Lord (Krishna).479.

ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਤਬੈਸੰਗਗੋਪਿਨਕੇਤਬਹੀਫੁਨਿਅੰਤ੍ਰਧਿਆਨਹ੍ਵੈਗਈਯਾ॥
ਤਦ ਫਿਰ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਅੰਤਰ ਧਿਆਨ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ) ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
Then again Krishna, separating himself from the gopis, disappeared
ਖੇਕਹਗਯੋਧਰਨੀਧਸਿਗਯੋਕਿਧੋਮਧਿਰਹਿਯੋਸਮਝਿਯੋਨਹੀਪਈਯਾ॥
ਖਗੋਲ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ, ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਸ ਗਿਆ ਜਾਂ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ) ਵਿਚ ਹੀ (ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਰਿਹਾ, (ਇਸ ਦੀ) ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਾ ਪਈ।
He went to the sky or penetrated into the earth or remained only suspended, none has been able to comprehend this fact
ਗੋਪਿਨਕੀਜਬਯੌਗਤਿਭੀਤਬਤਾਛਬਿਕੋਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹਇਯਾ॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਕਿਹਾ
