ਤਾਹੀਕੇਬੀਚਰਹਿਯੋਗਡਕੈਤਿਹਤੇਨਹੀਛੂਟਨਨੈਕੁਗਯੋਹੈ॥
ਉਸੇ ਵਿਚ (ਸਾਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਗਡਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਛੁਟਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ।
O friends! with whom, we have been absorbed in love on the bank of Yamuna, he is now firmly established in our mind and does not go out of it
ਤਾਚਲਬੇਕੀਸੁਨੀਬਤੀਯਾਅਤਿਹੀਮਨਭੀਤਰਸੋਕਛਯੋਹੈ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਲਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਗ਼ਮ ਛਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Listening the talk about his departure, extreme sorrow permeates our mind
ਸੋਸੁਨੀਯੈਸਜਨੀਹਮਕਉਤਜਿਕੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕਉਮਥਰਾਕੋਗਯੋਹੈ॥੭੯੯॥
ਹੇ ਸਜਨੀ! ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੭੯੯॥
O friend! listen, the same Krishna, is now leaving us and going towards Mathura.799.
ਅਤਿਹੀਹਿਤਸਿਉਸੰਗਖੇਲਤਜਾਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਅਤਿਸੁੰਦਰਕਾਮਨਿ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
The poet says that with whom all the beautiful women played in extreme love
ਰਾਸਕੀਭੀਤਰਯੌਲਸਕੈਰੁਤਿਸਾਵਨਕੀਚਮਕੈਜਿਮਦਾਮਨਿ॥
(ਰਾਸ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
He glistened in the arena of amorous play like the flash of lightning in the clouds of Sawan
ਚੰਦਮੁਖੀਤਨਕੰਚਨਸੇਦ੍ਰਿਗਕੰਜਪ੍ਰਭਾਜੁਚਲੈਗਜਿਗਾਮਨਿ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮੁਖ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਵਰਗੇ, ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੇ, ਨੈਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਕਮਲ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਹਾਥੀ ਜਿਹੀ (ਮਸਤ) ਚਾਲ ਚਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਤਿਨੈਮਥੁਰਾਕੋਚਲਿਯੋਜਦੁਰਾਇਸੁਨੋਸਜਨੀਅਬਧਾਮਨਿ॥੮੦੦॥
ਹੇ ਸਜਨੀ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਹੁਣ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੦੦॥
Leaving the women with faces like moon, bodies like gold and gait like the elephants, O friends! now see, that Krishna is going to Mathura.800.
ਕੰਜਮੁਖੀਤਨਕੰਚਨਸੇਬਿਰਲਾਪਕਰੈਹਰਿਸੋਹਿਤਲਾਈ॥
ਕਮਲ ਜਿਹੇ ਮੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The gopis with the bodies like gold and the faces like the lotus, are lamenting in the love of Krishna
ਸੋਕਭਯੋਤਿਨਕੇਮਨਬੀਚਅਸੋਕਗਯੋਤਿਨਹੂੰਤੇਨਸਾਈ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਗ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਭਜ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Their mind is absorbed in sorrow and their comfort has sped away
ਭਾਖਤਹੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਸੁਨੋਸਜਨੀਹਮਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਗਯੋਹੈਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਸਜਨੀ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
All of them are saying, “O friend! look, Krishna has gone leaving all of us behind
ਆਪਗਏਮਥੁਰਾਪੁਰਮੈਜਦੁਰਾਇਨਜਾਨਤਪੀਰਪਰਾਈ॥੮੦੧॥
ਆਪ ਤਾਂ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, (ਉਹ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਰਾਈ ਪੀੜ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ॥੮੦੧॥
The king of Yadavas himself has gone to Mathura and is not feeling our pain i.e. another’s pain.801.
ਅੰਗਬਿਖੈਸਜਕੈਭਗਵੇਪਟਹਾਥਨਮੈਚਿਪੀਆਹਮਲੈਹੈਂ॥
ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਭਗਵੇਂ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਪੀਆਂ (ਖੱਪਰ) ਫੜ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall wear ochre-coloured garments and carry the begging bowl in our hands
ਸੀਸਧਰੈਗੀਜਟਾਅਪੁਨੇਹਰਿਮੂਰਤਿਭਿਛਕਉਮਾਗਅਘੈਹੈਂ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਧਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਦੀ ਭਿਖਿਆ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਰਜ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall have matted locks on our heads and feel pleasure in begging for Krishna
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਚਲੈਜਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਹਮਹੂੰਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਚਲਿਜੈਹੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜਿਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Whatever Kreishna has gone, we shall go there
ਤ੍ਯਾਗਕਰਿਯੋਹਮਧਾਮਿਨਕੋਸਭਹੀਮਿਲਕੈਹਮਜੋਗਿਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥੮੦੨॥
ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਆਗ ਕਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੨॥
We have said that we shall become yogins and leave our homes.802.
ਬੋਲਤਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਆਪਸਿਮੈਸੁਨੀਯੈਸਜਨੀਹਮਕਾਮਕਰੈਂਗੀ॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਬੋਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਅਸੀਂ (ਇਹ) ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
ਤ੍ਯਾਗਕਹਿਯੋਹਮਧਾਮਨਕਉਚਿਪੀਆਗਹਿਸੀਸਜਟਾਨਧਰੈਂਗੀ॥
ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ, ਚਿੱਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਰਖ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
The gopis are saying among themselves, “O friend! we shall do this work that we shall leave our homes, and have matted hair on our heads and begging bowls in our hands
ਕੈਬਿਖਖਾਇਮਰੈਗੀਕਹਿਯੋਨਹਿਬੂਡਮਰੈਨਹੀਜਾਇਜਰੈਂਗੀ॥
(ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ) ਕਿਹਾ, ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ, ਜਾਂ ਡੁਬ ਮਰਾਂਗੀ ਜਾਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸੜ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ।
We shall eat poison and die, we shall be drowned or burn ourselves to death
ਮਾਨਬਯੋਗਕਹੈਸਭਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕੇਸਾਥਤੇਪੈਨਟਰੇਗੀ॥੮੦੩॥
ਵਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਲਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੩॥
Considering their separation, all of them said that they would never leave the company of Krishan.803.
ਜਿਨਹੂੰਹਮਰੇਸੰਗਿਕੇਲਕਰੇਬਨਬੀਚਦਏਹਮਕਉਸੁਖਭਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ (ਸਾਡੇ) ਨਾਲ ਕੇਲ-ਕ੍ਰੀੜਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
He, who was absorbed in passionate love with us and who gave us great pleasure in the forest
ਜਾਹਮਰੇਹਿਤਹਾਸਸਹਯੈਹਮਰੇਹਿਤਕੈਜਿਨਿਦੈਤਪਛਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ) ਹਾਸਾ ਸਹਿਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਹਿਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਪਟਕਾ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨ।
He, who endured ridicules for us and knocked down the demons
ਰਾਸਬਿਖੈਜਿਨਿਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਕੇਮਨਕੇਸਭਸੋਕਬਿਦਾਕਰਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੋਸੁਨੀਯੈਹਮਰੇਹਿਤਕੋਤਜਿਕੈਸੁਅਬੈਮਥੁਰਾਕੋਪਧਾਰੇ॥੮੦੪॥
ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਹਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੦੪॥
He, who removed all the sorrows of the gopis in the arena of amorous play, the same Krishna has now, forsaking our love, gone away to Mathura.804.
ਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਿਕਕਾਪਹਰੈਹਮਕਾਨਨਅੰਗਬਿਖੈਭਗਵੇਪਟਕੈਹੈਂ॥
ਅਸੀਂ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਪਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਭਗਵੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਾ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
ਹਾਥਨਮੈਚਿਪੀਆਧਰਿਕੈਅਪਨੇਤਨਬੀਚਬਿਭੂਤਲਗੈਹੈਂ॥
ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੱਪੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਲ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall wear rings in our ears and put on the ochre-coloured garments. We shall carry mendicants’s pot in our hands and rub ashes on our body
ਪੈਕਸਿਕੈਸਿੰਙੀਆਕਟਿਮੈਹਰਿਕੋਸੰਗਿਗੋਰਖਨਾਥਜਗੈਹੈਂ॥
ਲਕ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਗੀਆਂ ਕਸ ਕੇ (ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ) ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗੋਰਖਨਾਥ ਦੀ 'ਅਲੱਖ' ਜਗਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall hang the staghorn’s trumpet by our waists and shall shout the name of Gorakhnath for alms
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀਆਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹੈਂਤਜਿਕੈਹਮਧਾਮਨਜੋਗਿਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਂ॥੮੦੫॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ (ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੫॥
The gopis said that in this way, they would become yogins.805.
ਕੈਬਿਖਖਾਇਮਰੈਂਗੀਕਹਿਯੋਅਪੁਨੇਤਨਕੋਨਹਿਘਾਤਕਰੈਹੈ॥
(ਫਿਰ ਕਈ ਇਕ) ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ, ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਘਾਤ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Either we shall eat poison or shall commit suicide by some other method
ਮਾਰਿਛੁਰੀਅਪੁਨੇਤਨਮੈਹਰਿਕੇਹਮਊਪਰਪਾਪਚੜੈਹੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਛੁਰੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ (ਆਤਮ-ਘਾਤ) ਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall die with the blows of a knife on our body and level charge of our sin on Krishna,
ਨਾਤੁਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਕੇਜਾਪੁਰਮੈਬਿਰਥਾਇਹਕੀਸੁਪੁਕਾਰਿਕਰੈਹੈ॥
ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ-ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ (ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ) ਪੀੜ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Otherwise, we shall evoke Brahma so that no injustice be done to us
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀਯਾਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹੈਂਬ੍ਰਿਜਤੇਹਰਿਕੋਹਮਜਾਨਿਨਦੈਹੈ॥੮੦੬॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੬॥
The gopis said this that they would not allow Krishna to go by any means.806.
ਸੇਲੀਡਰੈਂਗੀਗਰੈਅਪੁਨੇਬਟੂਆਅਪੁਨੇਕਟਿਸਾਥਕਸੈਹੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਸੇਲੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਕ ਨਾਲ ਬਟੂਏ (ਸੁਆਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਥੈਲੀਆਂ) ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall wear the rosary of black wood around our necks and hand a purse by our waist
ਲੈਕਰਿਬੀਚਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਕਿਧੌਫਰੂਆਤਿਹਸਾਮੁਹੇਰੂਪਜਗੈਹੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ ਜਾਂ ਫਹੌੜੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧੂਪ ਜਗਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall carry a trident in our hand and keep awake by sitting in a posture in the sunshine
ਘੋਟਕੈਤਾਹੀਕੇਧ੍ਯਾਨਕੀਭਾਗਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਵਾਹੀਚੜੈਹੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਭੰਗ ਘੋਟ ਕੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗ ਲਗਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall drink the hemp of the meditation of Krishna and become intoxicated
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀਯਾਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹੈਨਰਹੈਹਮਧਾਮਨਜੋਗਿਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥੮੦੭॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਪਿਛੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ) ॥੮੦੭॥
In this way, the gopis said that they would not live in there homes and will become yogins.807.
ਧੂਮਡਰੈਤਿਹਕੇਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਾਮੁਹੇਅਉਰਕਛੂਨਹਿਕਾਰਜਕੈਹੈ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧੂਣੀ ਪਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall light a fire in front of the house of Krishna and shall not do anything else
ਧ੍ਯਾਨਧਰੈਂਗੀਕਿਧੌਤਿਹਕੌਤਿਹਧ੍ਯਾਨਕੀਭਾਗਹਿਸੋਮਤਿਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥
ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਭੰਗ (ਪੀ ਕੇ) ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall meditate on him and shall remain intoxicated with the hemp of his meditation
ਲੈਤਿਹਕੈਫੁਨਿਪਾਇਨਧੂਰਿਕਿਧੌਸੁਬਿਭੂਤਕੀਠਉਰਚੜੈਹੈ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੀ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
We shall rub the dust of his feet on our body like ashes
ਕੈਹਿਤਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਐਸੋਕਹੈਂਤਜਿਕੈਗ੍ਰਿਹਕਉਹਮਜੋਗਿਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥੮੦੮॥
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੮॥
The gopis are saying that for the sake of that Krishna they would leave their homes and become yogins.808.
ਕੈਅਪੁਨੇਮਨਕੀਫੁਨਿਮਾਲਕਹੈਕਬਿਵਾਹੀਕੋਨਾਮੁਜਪੈਹੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਜਪਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Making a rosary of our mind, we shall repeat his name
ਕੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਕੀਪੈਤਪਸਾਹਿਤਸੋਤਿਹਤੇਜਦੁਰਾਇਰਿਝੈਹੈ॥
ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਪਸਿਆ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਝਾ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
In this way we shall perform austerity and thus please Krishn,a the king of Yadavas
ਮਾਗਸਭੈਤਿਹਤੇਮਿਲਿਕੈਬਰੁਪਾਇਨਪੈਤਹਿਤੇਹਮਲਯੈਹੈ॥
(ਅਸੀਂ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਰ ਮੰਗਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ (ਵਰ ਨੂੰ) ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
After getting his boon, we shall beg of him to give himself to us
ਯਾਤੇਬਿਚਾਰਿਕਹੈਗੁਪੀਯਾਤਜਿਕੈਹਮਧਾਮਨਜੋਗਿਨਹ੍ਵੈਹੈ॥੮੦੯॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੮੦੯॥
Thinking in this way, the gopis are saying that they would leave their homes and become yogins.809.
ਠਾਢੀਹੈਹੋਇਇਕਤ੍ਰਤ੍ਰੀਯਾਜਿਮਘੰਟਕਹੇਰਬਜੈਮ੍ਰਿਗਾਇਲ॥
(ਸਾਰੀਆਂ) ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਥਾਂ ਖੜੋਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਘੰਡਾਹੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਵਜਣ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਾਰ ਖੜੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Those women gathered together and stood like the herd of deer listening to the sound of horn
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਕਬਿਚਿਤਹਰੈਹਰਿਕੋਹਰਿਊਪਰਿਹ੍ਵੈਅਤਿਮਾਇਲ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
This spectacle of the group of gopis removed all the anxieties, all these gopis are fascinated by Krishna
ਧ੍ਰਯਾਨਲਗੈਦ੍ਰਿਗਮੂੰਦਰਹੈਉਘਰੈਨਿਕਟੈਤਿਹਜਾਨਿਉਤਾਇਲ॥
ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਪਰ ਉਘਾੜਦੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ) ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ) ਉਘੜਨ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਕਾਹਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਏਗਾ।
Though they have closed their eyes, yet feeling the presence of Krishna nearby, in illusion, they sometimes open their eyes very quickly
ਯੌਉਪਜੀਉਪਮਾਮਨਮੈਜਿਮਮੀਚਤਆਂਖਉਘਾਰਤਘਾਇਲ॥੮੧੦॥
(ਇਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ) ਘਾਇਲ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਘਾੜਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੧੦॥
They are doing this like a wounded person, who sometimes closes his eyes and sometimes open them.810.
ਕੰਚਨਕੇਤਨਜੋਸਮਥੀਜੁਹੁਤੀਸਮਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਚੰਦਕਰਾਸੀ॥
ਜੋ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ (ਵਰਗੇ ਮੁਖ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ) ਹਨ,
