ਮੈਨਕੀਮਾਨੋਸਾਣਬਨੀਦੋਊਭਉਹਮਨੋਅਖੀਯਾਸਮਗਾਸੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭੌਆਂ (ਕਮਾਨ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ) ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਮਾਨੋ ਤੀਰ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਣ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਤਿਖੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Those, whose body was like gold and beauty like moon, those, whose glory was like that of the god of love and both of whose eyebrows were like arrows
ਦੇਖਤਜਾਅਤਿਹੀਸੁਖਹੋਨਹਿਦੇਖਤਹੀਤਿਹਹੋਤਉਦਾਸੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਦੇਖਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਿਨਾਸਸਿਪੈਜਲਕੀਮਨੋਕੰਜਮੁਖੀਭਈਸੂਕਿਜਰਾਸੀ॥੮੧੧॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਾਨੋ ਕਮਲ-ਮੁਖੀ ਜਲ ਉਤੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਵੀ ਸੁਕ ਕੇ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੮੧੧॥
On seeing whom, there was attainment of extreme happiness and not seeing whom, the mind experienced sorrow, those gopis withered away like the apodal in water without the moonbeams.811.
ਰਥਊਪਰਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਚੜਾਇਕੈਸੋਸੰਗਿਲੈਸਭਗੋਪਤਹਾਕੋਗਏਹੈ॥
ਰਥ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਧਰ (ਮਥੁਰਾ) ਨੂੰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Taking all the gopas with him in chariots, Krishna left
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨੀਯਾਸੁਰਹੀਗ੍ਰਿਹਮੈਜਿਨਕੇਮਨਬੀਚਸੁਸੋਕਭਏਹੈ॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਗ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The gopis remained within their homes and the suffering of their mind increased abundantly
ਠਾਢਿਉਡੀਕਤਗੋਪਿਜਹਾਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਦੋਊਏਸੋਅਏਹੈ॥
ਜਿਥੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਖੜੋਤੀਆਂ ਉਡੀਕ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ (ਭਰਾ) ਆ ਗਏ।
The place where the gopis had gathered together and were waiting for Krishna, both the brothers, Krishna and Balram, went there
ਸੁੰਦਰਹੈਸਸਿਸੇਜਿਨਕੇਮੁਖਕੰਚਨਸੇਤਨਰੂਪਛਏਹੈ॥੮੧੨॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੧੨॥
The faces of both the brothers were beautiful like moon and the bodies like gold.812.
ਜਬਹੀਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਕੇਸੰਗਕਿਧੌਜਮੁਨਾਪੈਗਏਬ੍ਰਿਜਲੋਕਸਬੈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ, ਅਕਰੂਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਮਨਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ,
When Akrur reached on the bank of Yamuna w3ith all the people, then seeing the love of all, Akrur repented in his mind
ਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਹੀਚਿੰਤਕਰੀਮਨਮੈਅਤਿਪਾਪਕਰਿਯੋਹਮਹੂੰਸੁਅਬੈ॥
ਅਕਰੂਰ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
He thought that he had sinned profusely in taking away Krishna from that place
ਤਬਹੀਤਜਕੈਰਥਬੀਚਧਸਿਯੋਜਲਕੇਸੰਧਿਆਕਰਬੇਕੋਤਬੈ॥
ਤਦ ਹੀ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ (ਅਕਰੂਰ) ਸੰਧਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਵੜ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਹਕੋਮਰਿਹੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੰਸਬਲੀਜੁਭਈਇਹਕੀਅਤਿਚਿੰਤਜਬੈ॥੮੧੩॥
'ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਕੰਸ ਮਰਵਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ', ਜਦ (ਜਲ ਵਿਚ) ਇਸ (ਗੱਲ) ਦੀ (ਅਕਰੂਰ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੮੧੩॥
Thinking like this, he entered the river-water for sandhya prayer and got worried on reflecting that the mighty Kansa would then kill Krishna.813.

ਤਬਤਿਹਕੋਜਲਮੈਤਬੈਦਰਸਨਦਯੋਮੁਰਾਰਿ॥੮੧੪॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੮੧੪॥
While taking bath, when Akrur remembered Lored Krishna, then the Lord (Murari) manifested himself in real form.814.

ਮੁੰਡਹਜਾਰਭੁਜਾਸਹਸੇਦਸਸੇਸਕੇਆਸਨਪੈਸੁਬਿਰਾਜੈ॥
(ਅਕਰੂਰ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ) ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਿਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼-ਨਾਗ ਦੇ ਆਸਣ ਉਤੇ ਬਿਰਾਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Akruru saw that Krishna, with thousands of heads and thousands of arms, was seated on the bed of Sheshanaga
ਪੀਤਲਸੈਪਟਚਕ੍ਰਕਰੈਜਿਹਕੇਕਰਭੀਤਰਨੰਦਗਛਾਜੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪੀਲੇ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਕਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਦੂਜੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਨੰਦਗ ਖੜਗ ਸ਼ੋਭਦਾ ਹੈ।
He has worn the yellow garments and had the disc and sword in his hands
ਬੀਚਤਬੈਜਮੁਨਾਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਯੋਫੁਨਿਸਾਧਹਿਕੇਹਰਬੇਡਰਕਾਜੈ॥
ਉਹ ਤਦੋਂ ਜਮਨਾ ਦੇ ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਕੰਮ ਹੈ।
In the same form Krishna manifested himself to Akrur in Yamuna
ਜਾਕੋਕਰਿਯੋਸਭਹੀਜਗਹੈਜਿਹਦੇਖਤਹੀਘਟਸਾਵਨਲਾਜੈ॥੮੧੫॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਵਣ ਦੇ ਬਦਲ ਲਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੧੫॥
Akrur saw that Krishna, the remover of the sorrows of the saints, has under his control the whole world and he has such brilliance that the coulds of Sawan are feeling shy.815.
ਜਲਤੇਕਢਕੈਮਨਮੈਸੁਖਕੈਮਥੁਰਾਕੋਚਲਿਯੋਮਨਆਨੰਦਪਾਈ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ) ਜਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਮਥੁਰਾ ਵਲ ਲੈ ਚਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋਇਆ।
Then Akrur, coming out of water and in great comfort, started towards Mathura
ਧਾਇਗਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੇਪੁਰਮੈਹਰਿਮਾਰਨਕੀਨਕਰੀਦੁਚਿਤਾਈ॥
(ਰਥ ਨੂੰ) ਭਜਾ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਕੰਸ) ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰਾ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਦੁਚਿਤੀ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
He ran to the palace of the king and he now had not fear of Krishna being killed
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕੋਰੂਪਨਿਹਾਰਨਕੋਮਥੁਰਾਕੀਜੁਰੀਸਭਆਨਿਲੁਕਾਈ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਆ ਕੇ ਜੁੜ ਗਈ।
Seeing the beauty of Krishna, all the inhabitants of Mathura gathered together in order to have a look at him
ਜਾਕੇਕਛੂਤਨਮੈਦੁਖੁਹੋਹਰਿਦੇਖਤਹੀਸੋਊਪਾਰਪਰਾਈ॥੮੧੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਦੁਖ ਹੈ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੧੬॥
The person, who had any slight ailment in his body, the same was removed on seeing Krishna.816.
ਹਰਿਆਗਮਕੀਸੁਨਕੈਬਤੀਆਉਠਕੈਮਥੁਰਾਕੀਸਭੈਤ੍ਰੀਅਧਾਈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਭਜੀਆਂ ਆਈਆਂ।
Hearing about the arrival of Krishna, all the women of Mathura ran (to have his sight)
ਆਵਤਥੋਰਥਬੀਚਚੜਿਯੋਚਲਿਕੈਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਸੋਊਆਈ॥
ਰਥ ਵਿਚ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ (ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ (ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ) ਚਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ।
The direction in which the chariot was going, all of them gathered there,
ਮੂਰਤਿਦੇਖਕੈਰੀਝਰਹੀਹਰਿਆਨਨਓਰਰਹੀਲਿਵਲਾਈ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸੂਰਤ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਮੁਖ ਵਲ ਹੀ ਲਿਵ ਲਗਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
They were pleased to see the winsome elegance of Krishna and kept seeing only towards that side
ਸੋਕਕਥਾਜਿਤਨੀਮਨਥੀਇਹਓਰਨਿਹਾਰਿਦਈਬਿਸਰਾਈ॥੮੧੭॥
(ਕਵੀ ਨੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ) ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਕਥਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਵਲ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੮੧੭॥
Whatever sorrow they had in their mind, the same was removed on seeing Krishna.817.

ਇਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਸਕੰਧ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਦੇ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾਵਤਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਆਇ ਸਮਾਪਤ।

The poet after reflection has described the beauty of the city of Mathura
ਸੋਭਾਜਿਹਦੇਖਤਸੁਕਬਿਕਰਿਨਹਿਸਕਤਿਉਚਾਰ॥੮੧੮॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਕੋਈ) ਕਵੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੮੧੮॥
Its glory is such that the poets cannot describe.818.

The city studded with gems looks like the flash of lightning
ਜਮੁਨਾਜਿਹਸੁੰਦਰਤੀਰਬਹੈਸੁਬਿਰਾਜਤਹੈਜਿਹਭਾਤਿਅਟਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਜਮਨਾ ਵਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਟਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੋਭ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The river Yamuna flows by its side and its parts look splendid
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਜਿਹਦੇਖਤਰੀਝਰਹੈਰਿਝਵੈਪਿਖਿਤਾਧਰਸੀਸਜਟਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਰੀਝ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਵੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Seeing it Shiva and Brahma are getting pleased
ਇਹਭਾਤਿਪ੍ਰਭਾਧਰਿਹੈਪੁਰਿਧਾਮਸੁਬਾਤਕਰੈਸੰਗਮੇਘਘਟਾ॥੮੧੯॥
ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੧੯॥
The houses in the city are so high, that they seem to touch the clouds.819.
ਹਰਿਆਵਤਥੋਮਗਬੀਚਚਲਿਯੋਰਿਪੁਕੋਧੁਬੀਆਮਗਏਕਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਧੋਬੀ ਨੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ।
When Krishna was going, he saw a washerman in the way
ਜਉਸੁਗਹੇਤਿਹਤੇਪਟਤਉਕੁਪਿਕੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਤਿਹਨਾਮਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਜਦ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਕੜੇ ਤਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਕੰਸ) ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੁਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
When Krishna took away the clothes from him, he, in anger, began to cry for the king
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਤਬੈਰਿਸਕੈਮਨਮੈਸੰਗਅੰਗੁਲਿਕਾਤਿਹਕੇਮੁਖਮਾਰਿਓ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਂਗਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
Krishna, getting enraged in his mind, slapped him

ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧੋਬੀ ਨੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਟੜੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੨੦॥

ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੈਰੀ (ਕੰਸ) ਦੇ ਧੋਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਟਾਪਾ ਚਾੜ੍ਹ ਦਿਓ
ਬਸਤ੍ਰਜਿਤੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੇਸਕਲਲੇਹੁਸਭਨਕੋਲੂਟਿ॥੮੨੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਕੰਸ) ਦੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਟ ਲਵੋ ॥੮੨੧॥

ਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੇਗ੍ਵਾਰਅਜਾਨਬਸਤ੍ਰਪਹਿਰਜਾਨਤਨਹੀ॥
ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੇ ਅਜਾਣ ਲੋਕ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਹਿਨਣਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ।

ਬਾਕਾਤਾਤ੍ਰੀਆਆਨਿਚੀਰਪੈਨ੍ਰਹਾਏਤਿਨਤਨੈ॥੮੨੨॥
(ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਕਹਿਣ ਤੇ (ਉਸ) ਧੋਬੀ ('ਬਾਕਾਤਾ') ਦੀ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਹਿਨਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੮੨੨॥
