ਬਿਰਛ ਨੂੰ ਬਇਅਰ ਪੌਣ ਦੇ ਝਕੋਲੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਤਰ੍ਯਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿਲਜੁਲੀ ਮਚ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਇਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਅਪਣੇ ਅਪਣੇ ਟਿਕਾਣੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ।
Just as the leaves and branches of a tree start trembling under the influence of fast wind and even the birds lose trust of their nests;
ਸਰਵਰਘਾਮਲਾਗੈਬਾਰਜਬਿਲਖਮੁਖਪ੍ਰਾਨਅੰਤਹੰਤਜਲਜੰਤਅਕੁਲਾਤਹੈ।
ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਘਾਮ ਧੁੱਪ ਦਾ ਕੜਾਕਾ ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਜੀਕੂੰ ਬਾਰਜ ਕੌਲ ਫੁੱਲ ਬ੍ਯਾਕੁਲ ਮੁਖ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੁਮਲਾਯਾ ਮੁਰਝਾਯਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਜਲ ਵਾਸੀ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜੀਵ ਭੀ ਮਾਨੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅੰਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਮਰਣ ਲਗਦੇ ਹੰਤ ਹਾਯ ਹਾਯ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਕੁਲਾਤ ਆਤੁਰ ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਤ੍ਰਾਹ ਤ੍ਰਾਹ ਕਰ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਹਨ।
Just as lotus flowers whither away under the sharp heat of the Sun and aquatic life of the water feels distressed as if their lives were coming to an end;
ਸਾਰਦੂਲਦੇਖੈਮ੍ਰਿਗਮਾਲਸੁਕਚਿਤਬਨਵਾਸਮੈਨਤ੍ਰਾਸਕਰਿਆਸ੍ਰਮਸੁਹਾਤਹੈ।
ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਸਾਰ ਮਿਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਡਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਕੂੰ ਦਲ ਚਿਤ ਦਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਮੁਰਝਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਵਾ; ਦਦਾ, ਡ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਲਿ ਦਾ ਰਿ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਅਰਥ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਡਰਿ ਸੋ ਡਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਚਿੱਤ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਨਵਾਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਕਰਿ ਭੈ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਪਨੇ ਘੋਰਨੇ ਭੀ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ।
Just as the herd of deers find solace and safety in their small hiding places in the jungle when they see the lion in the vicinity;
ਤੈਸੇਗੁਰਆਂਗਸ੍ਵਾਂਗਿਭਏਬੈਚਕਤਿਸਿਖਦੁਖਤਿਉਦਾਸਬਾਸਅਤਿਬਿਲਲਾਤਹੈ।੪੦੨।
ਤਿਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਸਰੀਰ ਉਪਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਪਰਖਣੇ ਸਾਂਗ ਦੇ ਰਚਿਆਂ ਗਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਭੀ; ਭੈਭੀਤ ਹੋਏ ਚਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੰਗ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਓਹ ਭੀ ਸਮੀਪੀ ਬਾਸ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਉਪ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਤ੍ਯੰਤ ਬ੍ਯਾਕੁਲ ਹੋਯਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੪੦੨॥
Similarly, the Sikhs of the Guru are frightened, amazed, distressed and morose seeing the body/limbs of a spurious Guru marked with artificial marks of recognition. Even the Sikhs most close to the Guru feel restless. (402)
