ਓਲਾਬਰਖਨਕਰਖਨਦਾਮਨੀਬਯਾਰਿਸਾਗਰਲਹਰਿਬਨਜਰਤਅਗਨਿਹੈ।
ਗੜੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਨ ਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਕੜਕਨ, ਅਰੁ ਬਯਾਰਿ ਪੌਣ ਦੇ ਝੱਖੜ ਝੁਲਣ; ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਕੱਪਰ ਪਰ ਕੱਪਰ ਛੱਲਾਂ ਮਾਣ ਤਥਾ ਬਨ ਦਾਵਾ ਅਗਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੜ ਸੜ ਸੁਆਹ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ।
If hails be falling, lightening be making thunderous sounds, storm be raging. stormy waves be rising in the ocean and forests may be burning with fire;
ਰਾਜੀਬਿਰਾਜੀਭੂਕੰਪਕਾਅੰਤਰਬ੍ਰਿਥਾਬਲਬੰਦਸਾਲਸਾਸਨਾਸੰਕਟਮੈਮਗਨੁਹੈ।
ਭੁਚਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਰਮਾਰ ਵਰਤੇ; ਹੁੱਲੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੁੱਲੜ ਪਏ ਭੁਚਾਲ ਔਣ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਪੀੜਾ ਗਦੋਂ ਧਾਣੇ ਆਦ ਫੋੜੇ ਯਾ ਐਸਾ ਹੀ ਅੰਦਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਚਰ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਹਮਤੀ ਰੋਗ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਸਰੀਰ ਉਪਰ ਧਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਥਾ; ਬੰਦੀਖਾਨੇ ਜਿਹਲਖਾਨੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਸਨਾ ਤਾੜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਫੱਬਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
The subjects be without their king, earthquakes be experienced, one may have been troubled by some deep innate pain and for some offence may have been lodged in the jail;
ਆਪਦਾਅਧੀਨਦੀਨਦੂਖਨਾਦਰਿਦ੍ਰਛਿਦ੍ਰਿਭ੍ਰਮਤਿਉਦਾਸਰਿਨਦਾਸਨਿਨਗਨਹੈ।
ਅਪਦਾ ਔਕੜਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਭਨੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਦਬਾ ਰਖ੍ਯਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਦੂਖਨਾ ਉੂਜਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਇਲਜਾਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੀਨ ਆਤੁਰਾਂ ਸਮਾਨ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਬਣਾ ਛਡੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਥਾ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰ ਗ੍ਰੀਬੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਭ ਕੋਈ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਔਗੁਣ ਫੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਨ ਕਰਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਯਾਂ ਐਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਭਟਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਦਾਸਨਿ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਭੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਪਈ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਰੁ ਨੰਗਾ ਮੁਨੰਗਾ।
Many tribulations may overpower him, may be distressed by false accusations, poverty may have crushed him, may be wandering for loan and caught in the slavery, may be straying aimlessly but in acute hunger;
ਤੈਸੇਹੀਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਕੋਅਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੁਜਉਆਇਲਾਗੈਜਗਮੈਭਗਤਨਕੇਰੋਮਨਭਗਨਹੈ।੪੦੩।
ਇਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਰ ਭੀ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਅਣਡਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਅਲੋਕਾਰ ਦੁਰਭਾਗ ਆਣ ਵਰਤਣ ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਗਤਾਂ ਗੁਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿੰਗਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੪੦੩॥
And even if more of such worldly tribulations and distresses may befall upon Guru-loving, obedient and meditating persons dear to the True Guru, they are least troubled by them and live life ever in bloom and happiness. (403)
