ਜਾਦਵਸੈਨਹੂੰਤੇਨਿਕਸਿਯੋਰਨਸੁੰਦਰਨਾਮਸਰੂਪਅਪਾਰਾ॥
ਯਾਦਵ ਸੈਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ (ਯੋਧਾ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ਹੈ।
The name of Krishna was hailed in the army of the Yadavas,
ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤੁਰੰਗਭਯੋਸਮੁਹੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਮੁੰਡਕਟਿਯੋਨਲਗੀਕਛੁਬਾਰਾ॥
ਘੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ। ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਦੇਰ ਨਾ ਲਗੀ।
But Anag Singh, causing his horse to run came in front of the King of Yadava army
ਯੌਧਰਤੇਸਿਰਛੂਟਪਰਿਯੋਨਭਿਤੇਟੂਟਪਰੋਛਿਤਤਾਰਾ॥੧੧੪੪॥
ਧੜ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਰਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਆ ਡਿਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੪੪॥
This king destroyed in an instant all the warriors of the army, the heads began to fall on the ground like the stars falling from the sky.1144.
ਪੁਨਿਦਉਰਿਪਰਿਯੋਜਦੁਵੀਪ੍ਰਿਤਨਾਪਰਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਅਤਿਕੀਨਰੁਸਾ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਅਣਗ ਸਿੰਘ) ਯਾਦਵੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਉਤੇ ਦੌੜ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ।
Getting very angry, he fell upon the Yadava army again
ਉਤਤੇਜਦੁਬੀਰਫਿਰੇਇਕਠੇਅਰਿਰਾਇਬਢਾਇਕੈਚਿਤਗੁਸਾ॥
ਉਧਰੋਂ ਯਾਦਵ ਯੋਧੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਤ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਅਰੜਾ ਕੇ (ਆ ਪਏ ਹਨ)।
On the other side Krishna also moved in his army, which increased the anger in the mind of the enemy
ਅਗਨਸਤ੍ਰਛੁਟਿਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੇਕਰਤੇਜਰਗੇਮਨੋਪਾਵਕਬੀਚਤੁਸਾ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੋਂ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਚਲੀ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਇੰਜ) ਸੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਮਾਨੋ ਅੱਗ ਵਿਚ ਕੱਖ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ।
The king Anag Singh shot his firearm, by which the soldiers burnt like the straw in fire
ਕਟਿਅੰਗਪਰੇਬਹੁਜੋਧਨਕੇਮਨੋਜਗਕੇਮੰਡਲਮਧਿਕੁਸਾ॥੧੧੪੫॥
ਬਹੁਤੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਕਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ, (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਯੱਗ ਦੇ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਸਾ (ਘਾਹ) ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੪੫॥
The limbs of the warriors being chopped fell like the grass burning in the sacrificial altar.1145.
ਕਾਨਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਲਉਖੈਚਕਮਾਨਸੁਬੀਰਨਿਹਾਰਕੈਬਾਨਚਲਾਵੈ॥
ਕੰਨ ਤਕ ਕਮਾਨ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੋਇਨਿਊਪਰਿਆਨਪਰੇਸਰਸੋਅਧਬੀਚਤੇਕਾਟਿਗਿਰਾਵੈ॥
ਜੋ ਬਾਣ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚਾਲਿਓਂ ਹੀ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਗਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Pulling their bows upto the ears, the warriors are discharging the arrows and the arrow which collides with these arrows midway, it is chopped and thrown down
ਲੋਹਹਥੀਪਰਸੇਕਰਿਲੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਕੀਦੇਹਿਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਲਗਾਵੈ॥
ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ('ਲੋਹ ਹਥੀ') ਅਤੇ ਕੁਹਾੜੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਟਾਂ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਜੁਧਸਮੈਥਕਿਕੈਜਕਿਕੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਕਉਪਾਰਸੰਭਾਰਨਆਵੈ॥੧੧੪੬॥
ਯੁੱਧ ਵੇਲੇ ਥਕ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਕ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ॥੧੧੪੬॥
Holding their swords, the enemies are striking the blows on the body of Krishna, but being tired, they could not obstruct the blows of Krishna.1146.
ਜੋਇਹਉਪਰਆਇਪਰੇਭਟਕੋਪਭਰੇਇਨਹੂੰਸੁਨਿਵਾਰੇ॥
ਜੋ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The warriors who attacked Krishna, they were chopped into bits by him
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਗਦਾਗਹਿਮਾਰਿਰਥੀਬਿਰਥੀਕਰਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ, ਗਦਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ) ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Taking his bow and arrows, sword and mace in his hands, he deprived the charioteers of their chariots
ਘਾਇਲਕੋਟਿਚਲੇਤਜਿਕੈਰਨਜੂਝਿਪਰੇਬਹੁਡੀਲਡਰਾਰੇ॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਘਾਇਲ (ਸੈਨਿਕ) ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਡੀਲ ਡੌਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Many warriors being wounded have started going away from the arena of war
ਯੌਉਪਜੀਉਪਮਾਸੁਮਨੋਅਹਿਰਾਜਪਰੇਖਗਰਾਜਕੇਮਾਰੇ॥੧੧੪੭॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ (ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਉਪਜੀ ਹੈ, ਮਾਨੋ ਗਰੁੜ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੱਪ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੪੭॥
And many others fighting heroically in the field, the dead warriors appear like the dead snake-kings lying down, having been killed by Garuda the king of birds.1147.
ਜੁਧਕੀਯੋਜਦੁਬੀਰਨਸੋਉਹਬੀਰਜਬੈਕਰਮੈਅਸਿਸਾਜਿਯੋ॥
ਜਦ ਉਸ ਯੋਧੇ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਪਕੜ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਯਾਦਵ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ।
Taking his sword in his hand, that warrior engaged the Yadavas in battle
ਮਾਰਿਚਮੂੰਸੁਬਿਦਾਰਦਈਕਬਿਰਾਮਕਹੈਬਲੁਸੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਗਾਜਿਯੋ॥
ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰਾਜਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਗਜਿਆ।
After killing the four divisions of the army, the poet Ram says that the king began to thunder with strength
ਸੋਸੁਨਿਬੀਰਡਰੇਸਬਹੀਧੁਨਿਕਉਸੁਨਕੈਘਨਸਾਵਨਲਾਜਿਯੋ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਭੈ-ਭੀਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧੁਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਬਦਲ ਵੀ ਲਜਾ ਗਿਆ।
Hearing him roaring, the clouds felt shy and frightened
ਛਾਜਤਯੌਅਰਿਕੇਗਨਮੈਮ੍ਰਿਗਕੇਬਨਮੈਮਨੋਸਿੰਘਬਿਰਾਜਿਯੋ॥੧੧੪੮॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਜ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਮਾਨੋ ਹਿਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸ਼ੋਭਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੪੮॥
He was looking splendid amongst the enemies like lion among the deer.1148.
ਬਹੁਰਕਰਵਾਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਬਿਦਾਰਿਦਈਧੁਜਨੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਟਿਮਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
Striking the blows again, the forces were killed and many kings were killed
ਅਸਵਾਰਹਜਾਰਪਚਾਸਹਨੇਰਥਕਾਟਿਰਥੀਬਿਰਥੀਸੁਕਰੇ॥
ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਘੋੜ ਸਵਾਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Fifty thousand soldiers were killed and the Charioteers were deprived of their chariots and chopped
ਕਹੂੰਬਾਜਗਿਰੈਕਹੂੰਤਾਜਜਰੇਗਜਰਾਰਘਿਰੇਕਹੂੰਰਾਜਪਰੇ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤੇ ਤਾਜ ਗਿਰੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the horses, somewhere the elephants and somewhere the kings have fallen down
ਥਿਰੁਨਾਹਿਰਹੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਰਥਭੂਮਿਮਨੋਨਟੂਆਬਹੁਨ੍ਰਿਤਕਰੇ॥੧੧੪੯॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਰਥ ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ, ਮਾਨੋ ਨਟ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਚ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੪੯॥
The chariot of the king Anag Singh is not stable in the battlefield and it is running like a dancing actor.1149.
ਏਕਅਜਾਇਬਖਾਹਰਿਕੋਭਟਤਾਸੰਗਸੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਆਨਅਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਇਕ ਅਜਾਇਬ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਯੋਧਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਾ ਆ ਕੇ ਅੜ ਖੜੋਤਾ।
