ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਮਛੀ ਦੀ ਰੁਚੀ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਜੀਕੂੰ ਘਟਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੀ ਨਿਤ ਨਵੀਂ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਦੀਵੇ ਦੇ ਉਜਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਦਿਆਂ ਪਤੰਗੇ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਘਟਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ।

ਤਿਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਰਸਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪ੍ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਤਰਯਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸ ਦੇ ਰਸੀਏ ਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਭੀ ਅੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਦੀ ਅੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਬਲ ਪ੍ਯਾਸਾ ਤੀਬਰ ਲਾਲਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਘਟਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਭਾਵ ਨਿੱਤ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਿੱਕ ਹੀ ਗੁਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੪੨੪॥
So is the love of a Guru-conscious saint, the seeker of ambrosial nectar for his dear True Guru. The longing of love for his Guru that has permeated in every limb of his body and is flowing rapidly never decreases. (424)
