ਜੈਸੇਤਿਲਿਬਾਸੁਬਾਸੁਲੀਜੀਅਤਿਕੁਸਮਸੈਤਾਂਤੇਹੋਤਹੈਫੁਲੇਲਿਜਤਨਕੈਜਾਨੀਐ।
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਗੰਧਤ ਬਨਾ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਜਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਫੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫੁਲੇਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰ ਲਈਦੀ ਹੈ, ਐਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ।

ਜੈਸੇਤਉਅਉਟਾਇਦੂਧਜਾਵਨਜਮਾਇਮਥਿਸੰਜਮਸਹਤਿਘ੍ਰਿਤਿਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਕੈਮਾਨੀਐ।
ਫੇਰ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਉਬਾਲ ਕੇ, ਜਾਗ ਲਾ ਜਮਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਓਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਿੜਕ ਕੇ ਬਿਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਉ ਕੱਢ ਲੈਣ ਮੰਨ੍ਯਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੂਹ ਪੁੱਟ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਠੀਆਂ ਗਾਲਿਆਂ ਲੱਜ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਡੋਲ ਵਗਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਈਦਾ ਹੈ,
Just as earth is excavated to dig a well and thereafter (on appearance of water) the side walls of the well are lined, then water is pulled out with the help of rope and bucket.
ਗੁਰਉਪਦੇਸਤੈਸੇਭਾਵਨੀਭਗਤਿਭਾਇਘਟਿਘਟਿਪੂਰਨਬ੍ਰਹਮਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ।੫੩੫।
ਤਿਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਭੌਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ, ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਰੀਰ ਅੰਤਾਕਰਣ ਵਿਖੇ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਾ = ਹਰੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਰਮ੍ਯਾ ਹੋਯਾ ਪਛਾਣ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੩੫॥
Similarly, if the sermon of the True Guru is practiced diligently, with love and devotion, with every breath, the Lord-God becomes conspicuously permeated in every living being. (535)
