ਜੈਸੇਧਰਧਨੁਖਚਲਾਈਅਤਬਾਨਤਾਨਚਲ੍ਯੋਜਾਇਤਿਤਹੀਕਉਜਿਤਹੀਚਲਾਈਐ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਧਨੁਖ ਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਧਰ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਚਲਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਚਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as an arrow is placed in a bow, the bowstring is pulled and arrow released in the direction in which it is intended to go.
ਜੈਸੇਅਸ੍ਵਚਾਬੁਕਲਗਾਇਤਨਤੇਜਕਰਿਦੋਰ੍ਯੋਜਾਇਆਤੁਰਹੁਇਹਿਤਹੀਦਉਰਾਈਐ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਘੋੜੇ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਤੇ ਚਾਬਕ ਲਗਾਇਆਂ ਘੋੜਾ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭੀ ਉਧਰੇ ਹੀ ਦੌੜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
Just as a horse is whipped to make it run faster and agitated, it keeps running in the direction it is made to run
ਜੈਸੀਦਾਸੀਨਾਇਕਾਕੈਅਗ੍ਰਭਾਗਠਾਂਢੀਰਹੈਧਾਵੈਤਿਤਹੀਤਾਹਿਜਿਤਹੀਪਠਾਈਐ।
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੁਆਮਣੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਦਾਸੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਬਰ ਤਿਆਰ ਖੜੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦੌੜਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Just as an obedient maid-servant keeps standing in attention in front of her mistress, and she hastes away to the direction she is sent,
ਤੈਸੇਪ੍ਰਾਣੀਕਿਰਤਸੰਜੋਗਲਗਭ੍ਰਮੈਭੂਮਜਤਜਤਖਾਨਪਾਨਤਹੀਜਾਇਖਾਈਐ।੬੧੦।
ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਸੰਜੋਗਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਭਰਮਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਖਾਣਾ ਪੀਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੬੧੦॥
Similarly, an individual keeps wandering on this Earth according to the deeds that he had performed (in previous birth). He goes where he is destined to sustain himself. (610)
