ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਅੱਜ ਸਰਦ ਰਾਤ ਹੈ, ਤਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਹੈ ਸਰਦ ਰੁੱਤ ਦੀ ਪੁੰਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹੀ ਸੀਤਲ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਖੜੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਹਜਾ ਸੰਵਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Just as the night of winter month is, so is the moon radiant this night. The fragrant buds of the flowers have adorned the bed.

ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਇਧਰ ਜਵਾਨ -ਉਮਰਾ ਹੈ; ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਉਧਰ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਲਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜੈਸੇ ਕਿ ਉਧਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗੁਣ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾ ਰਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
On one side is the young age while on the other side is incomparable beauty. Similarly there is adornment of Naam Simran on one side while on the other is plenitude of virtues.
ਜੈਸੇਈਛਬੀਲੈਨੈਨਤੈਸੇਈਰਸੀਲੇਬੈਨਸੋਭਤਪਰਸਪਰਮਹਿਮਾਅਪਾਰੀਹੈ।
ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਉਧਰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੇਤਰ ਹਨ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹੀਉਧਰ ਰਸਦਾਇਕ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਬਚਨ ਹਨ, ਆਪੋ ਵਿਚਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਪਾਰ ਸੋਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
On one side are attractive and shining eyes while on the other hand are sweet words full of nectar. Thus within these the beauty beyond words is sitting in state.

ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਕਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਜੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਨਿਪੁੰਨ ਰਸੀਏ ਹਨ; ਤਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਕਾ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਵਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਹੈ ॥੬੫੫॥
Just as the beloved master is adept in the art of love, so is the strange and astonishing amorous feelings and love of the beloved seeker. (655)
