ਜਾਦਿਨਜਗਤਮਨਟਹਿਲਕਹੀਰਿਸਾਇਗ੍ਯਾਨਧ੍ਯਾਨਕੋਟਜੋਗਜਗਨਸਮਾਨਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਗਤ ਦੇਮਨ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਟਹਿਲ ਦੱਸੀ ਭਾਵ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ; ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਗਿਆਨ; ਧਿਆਨ; ਜੋਗ; ਜੱਗ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।
The day Omniscient Lord felt pleased and ordered to perform service, millions of worldly knowledge, meditation, yoga became paltry on that auspicious day.
ਜਾਦਿਨਭਈਪਨਿਹਾਰੀਜਗਨਨਾਥਜੀਕੀਤਾਸਮਨਛਤ੍ਰਧਾਰੀਕੋਟਨਕੋਟਾਨਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਮਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਭਾਵ ਪਾਣੀ ਢੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਮਿਲੀ; ਉਸ ਘੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਕ੍ਰੋੜ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
The day I received the assignment of filling water for God, the master of the Universe, the comforts of millions of kingdoms cannot compare with that blessed day.
ਜਾਦਿਨਪਿਸਨਹਾਰੀਭਈਜਗਜੀਵਨਕੀਅਰਥਧਰਮਕਾਮਮੋਖਦਾਸਨਦਾਸਾਨਹੈ।
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੀਹਨਹਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ; ਧਰਮ; ਅਰਥ; ਕਾਮ; ਮੋਖ ਫਿਰ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
The day I received the assignment of grinding the mill-stone of the Lord, the master of universe and all living beings, then the four much sought and desired elements of spirituality became slave of the servants.
ਛਿਰਕਾਰੀਪਨਿਹਾਰੀਪੀਸਨਕਾਰੀਕੋਜੋਸੁਖਪ੍ਰੇਮਨੀਪਿਆਰੀਕੋਅਕਥਉਨਮਾਨਹੈ।੬੫੬।
ਛਿੜਕਾਉ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ; ਪਾਣੀ ਢੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ; ਆਟਾ ਪੀਹਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਸੁਖ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ ਲਾ ਸਕਣਾ ਤੇ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਣਾ ਕਠਿਨ ਹੈ ॥੬੫੬॥
The love-lorn beloved who is blessed with the task of sprinkling of water, grinding of mill-stone and filling of water, to state her praise, comfort and peace is beyond description. (656)
