ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨਕੇ;ਸੁਰਮਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਨ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਸਾਜ ਕੇ ਸਿਹਜਾ ਵਿਛਾਈ ਹੈ।
Bathing myself clean, wearing beautiful clothes, putting collyrium in the eyes, eating a betel and adoring myself with various ornaments I have laid the bed of my Lord. (I have prepared myself for union with my beloved God Lord).
ਕੁਸਮਸੁਗੰਧਿਅਰਮੰਦਰਸੁੰਦਰਮਾਂਝਦੀਪਕਦਿਪਤਜਗਮਗਜੋਤਛਾਈਹੈ।
ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੀਵੇ ਦੀ ਜਗਮਗ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਰਹੀ ਜੋਤ ਲਟ ਲਟ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਛਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
The beautiful bed is decorated with fragrant flowers and the beautiful room is lit up with radiant light.
ਸੋਧਤਸੋਧਤਸਉਨਲਗਨਮਨਾਇਮਨਬਾਂਛਤਬਿਧਾਨਚਿਰਕਾਰਬਾਰੀਆਈਹੈ।
ਸੋਧ ਸੋਧ ਕੇ ਸਗਨ ਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਮਨ ਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਜਤਨਾਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਚਿਰਾਂ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਆਈ ਹੈ।
I have received this human birth after much effort for the union with the Lord God. (I have gone through many births to reach to this stage that is very auspicious).
ਅਉਸਰਅਭੀਚਨੀਚਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾਮੈਸੋਵਤਖੋਏਨੈਨਉਘਰਤਅੰਤਪਾਛੈਪਛੁਤਾਈਹੈ।੬੫੮।
ਪਰ ਇਹ ਅਭੀਚ ਮਹੂਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਨੀਚ ਨੀਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੁੱਤਿਆਂ ਗੁਆ ਲਿਆ;ਜਦ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਪਛੁਤਾਈ ॥੬੫੮॥
But losing this opportunity of favourable constellation position for a union with God in the sleep of hateful ignorance, one will only repent when one wakes up (because by then it would be too late). (658)
