ਸਿਆਮਪਹਾਰਸੇਦੈਤਹਨੇਤਮਜੈਸੇਹਰੇਰਵਿਕੀਕਿਰਨੈਸੇ॥
ਕਾਲੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਦੈਂਤ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
She killed the black mountains like demons, just as the sun-rays destroy the darkness.,
ਭਾਜਗਈਧੁਜਨੀਡਰਿਕੈਕਬਿਕੋਊਕਹੈਤਿਹਕੀਛਬਿਕੈਸੇ॥
(ਚੰਡੀ ਦੇ) ਡਰ ਨਾਲ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਸੈਨਾ ਭਜ ਗਈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਕਵੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ,
The army ran away out of fear, which hath been imagined by the poet like this:,
ਭੀਮਕੋਸ੍ਰਉਨਭਰਿਓਮੁਖਦੇਖਿਕੈਛਾਡਿਚਲੇਰਨਕਉਰਉਜੈਸੇ॥੧੮੦॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੀਮ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਭਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕੌਰਵ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੮੦॥
As though seeing the mouth of Bhim filled with blood, Kaurvas have run away from the battlefield.180.,

ਆਗਿਆਪਾਇਸੁੰਭਕੀਸੁਮਹਾਬੀਰਧੀਰਜੋਧੇਆਏਚੰਡਿਉਪਰਸੁਕ੍ਰੋਧਕੈਬਨੀਠਨੀ॥
ਸੁੰਭ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਧੀਰਜਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ-ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਜ-ਧਜ ਕੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਉਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ।
On receiving orders from king Sumbh, the warriors of great strength and composure, marched towards Chandi in great rage.,
ਚੰਡਿਕਾਲੈਬਾਨਅਉਕਮਾਨਕਾਲੀਕਿਰਪਾਨਛਿਨਮਧਿਕੈਕੈਬਲਸੁੰਭਕੀਹਨੀਅਨੀ॥
ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਲ-ਪੂਰਵਕ ਛਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ (ਅਨੀ) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Chandika taking her bow and arrow and Kali her sword, with great force destroyed the army in an instant.,
ਡਰਤਜਿਖੇਤਮਹਾਪ੍ਰੇਤਕੀਨੇਬਾਨਨਸੋਬਿਚਲਬਿਥਰਐਸੇਭਾਜਗੀਅਨੀਕਿਨੀ॥
ਡਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਛਡ ਗਏ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਬਾਣਾਂ (ਦੀ ਮਾਰ) ਨਾਲ ਭੂਤਨੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਲਿਤ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਸੈਨਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿੰਡ-ਪੁੰਡ ਗਈ
Many left the battlefield out of fear, many of them became corpses with arrows, routed from its place the army hath fled helter skelter like this:
ਜੈਸੇਬਾਰੂਥਲਮੈਸਬੂਹਬਹੇਪਉਨਹੂੰਕੇਧੂਰਉਡਿਚਲੇਹੁਇਕੇਕੋਟਿਕਕਨੀਕਨੀ॥੧੮੧॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੇਤ ਦੇ ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਝੌਂਕੇ ('ਸਬੂਹ') ਨਾਲ ਧੂੜ ਦੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਜ਼ੱਰੇ ਉਡਣ ਲਗ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੮੧॥
Just as in the desert, millions of the particles of dust, fly away before the violent wind.181.,

ਖਗਲੈਕਾਲੀਅਉਚੰਡੀਕੁਵੰਡਿਬਿਲੋਕਕੈਦਾਨਵਇਉਦਬਟੇਹੈ॥
ਕਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਖੜਗ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਇਉਂ ਦਬਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
Kali, taking the double-edged sword and Chandi her bow, have threatened the forces of the enemy like this:,
ਕੇਤਕਚਾਬਗਈਮੁਖਿਕਾਲਿਕਾਕੇਤਿਨਕੇਸਿਰਚੰਡਿਕਟੇਹੈ॥
ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲੀ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਬ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Many have been chewed by Kali with her mouth, and many have been beheaded by Chandi.,
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਤਸਿੰਧੁਭਇਓਧਰਮੈਰਨਛਾਡਗਏਇਕਦੈਤਫਟੇਹੈ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਦਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। (ਕਈ ਦੈਂਤ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਛਡ ਗਏ ਹਨ (ਅਤੇ ਕਈ) ਦੈਂਤ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਪਏ ਹਨ। (ਜੋ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ)
A sea of blood hath appeared on the earth, many warriors have left the battlefield and many are lying wounded.
ਸੁੰਭਪੈਜਾਇਕਹੀਤਿਨਇਉਬਹੁਬੀਰਮਹਾਤਿਹਠਉਰਲਟੇਹੈ॥੧੮੨॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੁੰਭ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਉਂ (ਗੱਲ) ਕਹੀ (ਕਿ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੇਟੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ) ॥੧੮੨॥
Those who have fled, they have told Sumbh like this: “Many heroes are lying (dead in that place.”182.,

ਦੇਖਿਭਇਆਨਕਜੁਧਕੋਕੀਨੋਬਿਸਨੁਬਿਚਾਰ॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਨੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ
Seeing such a violent war, Vishnu thought,
ਸਕਤਿਸਹਾਇਤਕੇਨਮਿਤਭੇਜੀਰਨਹਿਮੰਝਾਰ॥੧੮੩॥
ਅਤੇ (ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ) ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ (ਸਾਰੀਆਂ) ਦੇਵ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ॥੧੮੩॥
And sent the powers for the help of the goddess in the battlefield.183.,
ਸ੍ਵੈਯਾ॥
ਸ੍ਵੈਯਾ:
SWAYYA,
ਆਇਸਪਾਇਸਭੈਸਕਤੀਚਲਿਕੈਤਹਾਚੰਡਿਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਪੈਆਈ॥
(ਵਿਸ਼ਣੂ ਦੀ) ਆਗਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਚੰਡੀ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਗਈ।
As commanded by Vishnu, the powers of all the gods came for help for powerful Chandi.,
ਦੇਵੀਕਹਿਓਤਿਨਕੋਕਰਆਦਰੁਆਈਭਲੇਜਨੁਬੋਲਿਪਠਾਈ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ 'ਜੀਊ ਆਇਆਂ' ਕਿਹਾ ਮਾਨੋ ਬੁਲਾਵਾ ਭੇਜ ਕੇ (ਮੰਗਵਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ)।
The goddess, in reverence, said to them: “Welcome, you have come as though I have called you.”,
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੀਉਪਮਾਅਤਿਹੀਕਵਿਨੇਅਪਨੇਮਨਮੈਲਖਿਪਾਈ॥
ਉਸ (ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ) ਛਬੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਜਾਣ ਲਈ,
The poet hath imagined well in his mind the glory of that occasion.,
ਮਾਨਹੁਸਾਵਨਮਾਸਨਦੀਚਲਿਕੈਜਲਰਾਸਿਮੈਆਨਿਸਮਾਈ॥੧੮੪॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸਾਵਣ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਨਦੀ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੮੪॥
It seemed that the stream of Sawan (the rainy month) hath come and merged in the sea.184.,
ਦੇਖਿਮਹਾਦਲਦੇਵਨਕੋਬਰਬੀਰਸੁਸਾਮੁਹੇਜੁਧਕੋਧਾਏ॥
ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਡੇ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਵੀਰ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਗਏ।
Seeing the great many of the demons, the warriors of the powers of gods went in front of them for war.,
ਬਾਨਨਿਸਾਥਿਹਨੇਬਲੁਕੈਰਨਮੈਬਹੁਆਵਤਬੀਰਗਿਰਾਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੈਂਤ) ਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ (ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ) ਬਲਪੂ ਰਵਕ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
With great force killed many with their arrows and caused the confronting warriors to lie dead in the battlefield.,
ਦਾੜਨਸਾਥਿਚਬਾਇਗਈਕਲਿਅਉਰਗਹੈਚਹੂੰਓਰਿਬਗਾਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਕਾਲੀ ਦਾੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਬ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ (ਕਈ) ਹੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ-ਫੜ ਕੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
Kali chewed many with her molars, and had thrown asunder many of them in all the four directions.,
ਰਾਵਨਸੋਰਿਸਕੈਰਨਮੈਪਤਿਭਾਲਕਜਿਉਗਿਰਰਾਜਚਲਾਏ॥੧੮੫॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਵਣ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜਾਮਵੰਤ (ਭਾਲਕ-ਪਤਿ) ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਸੁਟੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੮੫॥
It seemed that while fighting with Ravana, in great fury, Jamwant had picked up and destroyed the great mountains.185.,
ਫੇਰਲੈਪਾਨਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਸੰਭਾਰਕੈਦੈਤਨਸੋਬਹੁਜੁਧਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਫਿਰ (ਕਾਲੀ ਨੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Then taking the sword in her hand, Kali hath waged a ferocious war with the demons.,
ਮਾਰਬਿਦਾਰਸੰਘਾਰਦਏਬਹੁਭੂਮਿਪਰੇਭਟਸ੍ਰਉਨਝਰਿਓਹੈ॥
(ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ) ਬਹੁਤ (ਸੂਰਮੇ) ਕਟ ਵਢ ਸੁਟੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ (ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਲਹੂ ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
She hath destroyed many, who are lying dead on the earth and the blood is oozing out of the corpses.,
ਗੂਦਬਹਿਓਅਰਿਸੀਸਨਤੇਕਵਿਨੇਤਿਹਕੋਇਹਭਾਉਧਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵਗਦੀ ਮਿਝ (ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਭਾਵ ਕਢਿਆ ਹੈ
The marrow, which is flowing from the heads of the enemies, the poet hath thought about it in this way:,
ਮਾਨੋਪਹਾਰਕੇਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਹੁਤੇਧਰਨੀਪਰਆਨਿਤੁਸਾਰਪਰਿਓਹੈ॥੧੮੬॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਬਰਫ਼ ('ਤੁਸਾਰ') ਡਿਗ ਪਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੮੬॥
In seemed that slipping down from the peak of the mountain, the snow hath fallen on the earth.186.,

ਭਾਗਗਈਧੁਜਨੀਸਭੈਰਹਿਓਨਕਛੂਉਪਾਉ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਪਾ ਨਾ ਰਿਹਾ (ਤਾਂ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਭਜ ਗਈ।
When no other remedy was left, all the forces of the demons fled away.,
ਸੁੰਭਨਿਸੁੰਭਹਿਸੋਕਹਿਓਦਲਲੈਤੁਮਹੂੰਜਾਉ॥੧੮੭॥
(ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ) ਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਨੇ ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਦਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਲੜਨ ਲਈ) ਜਾ ॥੧੮੭॥
At that time Sumbh said to Nisumbh: “Take the army and go to fight.”187.,

ਮਾਨਕੈਸੁੰਭਕੋਬੋਲਨਿਸੁੰਭੁਚਲਿਓਦਲਸਾਜਿਮਹਾਬਲਿਐਸੇ॥
ਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਦੇ ਬੋਲ (ਹੁਕਮ) ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਲ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ
Obeying the orders of Sumbh, the mighty Nisumbh hath arrayed and moved forward like this:,
ਭਾਰਥਜਿਉਰਨਮੈਰਿਸਿਪਾਰਥਿਕ੍ਰੁਧਕੈਜੁਧਕਰਿਓਕਰਨੈਸੇ॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਹਾਭਾਰਤ (ਦੀ ਜੰਗ ਵੇਲੇ) ਅਰਜਨ ('ਪਾਰਥਿ') ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
Just as in the war of Mahabharata, Arjuna, filled with anger had fought with Karan.,
ਚੰਡਿਕੇਬਾਨਲਗੇਬਹੁਦੈਤਕਉਫੋਰਿਕੈਪਾਰਭਏਤਨਕੈਸੇ॥
ਚੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਾਣ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਲਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ,
The arrows of Chandi struck the demon in great number, which pierced and crossed the body, how?,
ਸਾਵਨਮਾਸਕ੍ਰਿਸਾਨਕੇਖੇਤਿਉਗੇਮਨੋਧਾਨਕੇਅੰਕੁਰਜੈਸੇ॥੧੮੮॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸਾਵਣ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੁਰ ਨਿਕਲੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੮੮॥
Just as the young shoots of paddy in the field of a farmer in the rainy month of Sawan.188.,
ਬਾਨਨਸਾਥਗਿਰਾਇਦਏਬਹੁਰੋਅਸਿਲੈਕਰਿਇਉਰਨਕੀਨੋ॥
(ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ
At first she caused the warriors to fall with her arrows, then taking her sword in her hand she waged the war like this:,
ਮਾਰਿਬਿਦਾਰਿਦਈਧੁਜਨੀਸਭਦਾਨਵਕੋਬਲੁਹੁਇਗਇਓਛੀਨੋ॥
ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, (ਫਲਸਰੂਪ) ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮੱਠੀ ਪੈ ਗਈ।
She killed and destroyed the whole army, which resulted in the depletion of the strength of the demon.,
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਸਮੂਹਿਪਰਿਓਤਿਹਠਉਰਤਹਾਕਵਿਨੇਜਸੁਇਉਮਨਚੀਨੋ॥
ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਲਹੂ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਯਸ਼ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਹੈ
At that place there is blood everywhere, the poet hath imagined its comparison like this:,
ਸਾਤਹੂੰਸਾਗਰਕੋਰਚਿਕੈਬਿਧਿਆਠਵੋਸਿੰਧੁਕਰਿਓਹੈਨਵੀਨੋ॥੧੮੯॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨੇ (ਲਹੂ ਦਾ) ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੮੯॥
After creating the seven oceans, Brahma hath created this eighth new ocean of blood .189.,
ਲੈਕਰਮੈਅਸਿਚੰਡਿਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਸੁਕ੍ਰੁਧਭਈਰਨਮਧਲਰੀਹੈ॥
ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਚੰਡੀ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋਈ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਲੜ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ

ਫੋਰਦਈਚਤੁਰੰਗਚਮੂੰਬਲੁਕੈਬਹੁਕਾਲਿਕਾਮਾਰਿਧਰੀਹੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਚਤੁਰੰਗਣੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ-ਪੂਰਵਕ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ (ਫ਼ੌਜ) ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟੀ ਹੈ।
She hath destroyed four types of army and Kalika hath also killed many with great force.,
ਰੂਪਦਿਖਾਇਭਇਆਨਕਇਉਅਸੁਰੰਪਤਿਭ੍ਰਾਤਕੀਕ੍ਰਾਂਤਿਹਰੀਹੈ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ (ਅਸੁਰ ਪਤੀ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ) ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਮਾਨੋ (ਧਰਤੀ ਨੇ) ਸੂਹੇ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਸਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੯੦॥

ਦੈਤਸੰਭਾਰਿਸਭੈਅਪਨੋਬਲਿਚੰਡਿਸੋਜੁਧਕੋਫੇਰਿਅਰੇਹੈ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਲ (ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ) ਚੰਡੀ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਫਿਰ ਡਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
All the demons, recouping their strength are resisting Chandi again in war.,
ਆਯੁਧਧਾਰਿਲਰੈਰਨਇਉਜਨੁਦੀਪਕਮਧਿਪਤੰਗਪਰੇਹੈ॥
ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਜ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਮਾਨੋ ਦੀਵੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਤੰਗੇ ਪੈ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ।
Equipping themselves with their weapons they are fighting in the battlefield like the months surrounding the lamp.,
ਚੰਡਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਕੁਵੰਡਸੰਭਾਰਿਸਭੈਰਨਮਧਿਦੁਟੂਕਕਰੇਹੈ॥
ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਦੋ ਦੋ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ,
