ਮਾਨੋਮਹਾਬਨਮੈਬਰਬ੍ਰਿਛਨਕਾਟਿਕੈਬਾਢੀਜੁਦੇਕੈਧਰੇਹੈ॥੧੯੧॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਮਹਾ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਤ੍ਰਿਖਾਣ ਨੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਵਖਰੇ ਰਖੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੯੧॥
It seems trees and placed them separately.191.,
ਮਾਰਲਇਓਦਲੁਅਉਰਭਜਿਓਮਨਮੈਤਬਕੋਪਨਿਸੁੰਭਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ ਕੁਝ) ਦਲ ਮਾਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਭਜ ਗਿਆ ਤਦੋਂ ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ
When some army was killed and some fled away, then Nisumbh became very ferocious in his mind.,
ਚੰਡਿਕੇਸਾਮੁਹੇਆਨਿਅਰਿਓਅਤਿਜੁਧੁਕਰਿਓਪਗੁਨਾਹਿਟਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਡਟ ਗਿਆ। (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਖ਼ੂਬ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਾ ਹਟਾਇਆ।
He stood firmly before Chandi and waged a violent war, he did not recede even one step.,
ਚੰਡਿਕੇਬਾਨਲਗਿਓਮੁਖਦੈਤਕੇਸ੍ਰਉਨਸਮੂਹਧਰਾਨਿਪਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਚੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਦੈਂਤ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਵਿਚ ਲਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਲਹੂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਆ ਪਿਆ
The arrows of Chandi struck the faces of demons and great deal of blood hath flown on the earth.,
ਮਾਨਹੁਰਾਹੁਗ੍ਰਸਿਓਨਭਿਭਾਨੁਸੁਸ੍ਰਉਨਤਕੋਅਤਿਬਉਨਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥੧੯੨॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਹੂ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਸ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ (ਸੂਰਜ ਨੇ) ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਵਡੀ ਉਲਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੯੨॥
It seems that Rahu hath caught hold of sun in the sky, resulting in the great carving of blood by the sun.192.,
ਸਾਂਗਸੰਭਾਰਿਕਰੰਬਲੁਧਾਰਕੈਚੰਡਿਦਈਰਿਪੁਭਾਲਮੈਐਸੇ॥
(ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਂਗ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਲ ਅਰਜਿਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਦੇ ਮਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੋਭੀ,
Holding the spear in her hand, Chandi with great force thrust it into the forehead of the enemy like this,,
ਜੋਰਕੈਫੋਰਗਈਸਿਰਤ੍ਰਾਨਕੋਪਾਰਭਈਪਟਫਾਰਿਅਨੈਸੇ॥
(ਜੋ) ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ ਟੋਪ ਨੂੰ ਫੋੜ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ (ਸਾਂਗ ਦੀ) ਚੁੰਜ ਪਟਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜ ਕੇ ਪਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
That it pierced the helmet like the cloth.,
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਕੀਧਾਰਚਲੀਪਥਊਰਧਸੋਉਪਮਾਸੁਭਈਕਹੁਕੈਸੇ॥
(ਦੈਂਤ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਤੋਂ) ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ (ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ) ਉਪਰ ਵਲ ਚਲੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ,
The current of blood flowing out upwards, what comparison the poet hath imagined about it?,
ਮਾਨੋਮਹੇਸਕੇਤੀਸਰੇਨੈਨਕੀਜੋਤਉਦੋਤਭਈਖੁਲਤੈਸੇ॥੧੯੩॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਨੈਨ ਦੇ ਖੁਲ੍ਹਣ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਜੋਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੯੩॥

ਦੈਤਨਿਕਾਸਕੈਸਾਂਗਵਹੈਬਲਿਕੈਤਬਚੰਡਿਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਕੇਦੀਨੀ॥
ਉਹੀ ਸਾਂਗ (ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਤੋਂ) ਕਢ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਚੰਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੀ।
The demon, with his strength, took out that spear and with the same swiftness struck Chandi with it.,
ਜਾਇਲਗੀਤਿਹਕੇਮੁਖਮੈਬਹਿਸ੍ਰਉਨਪਰਿਓਅਤਿਹੀਛਬਿਕੀਨੀ॥
(ਉਹ ਸਾਂਗ) ਉਸ (ਦੁਰਗਾ) ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਲਗੀ, (ਫਲਸਰੂਪ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਲਹੂ ਵਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਵਧਾਈ ਹੈ।
The spear struck the face of the goddess resulting in the flow of blood from her face, which created a splendid scene.,
ਇਉਉਪਮਾਉਪਜੀਮਨਮੈਕਬਿਨੇਇਹਭਾਂਤਿਸੋਈਕਹਿਦੀਨੀ॥
ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ, ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤੀ

I seemed that in the throat of the most beautiful woman of Lanka, the saliva of the chewed betel leaf is being visulised.194.,
ਜੁਧੁਨਿਸੁੰਭਕਰਿਓਅਤਿਹੀਜਸੁਇਆਛਬਿਕੋਕਬਿਕੋਬਰਨੈ॥
ਨਿਸ਼ੁੰਭ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਛਬੀ ਦਾ ਯਸ਼ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਕਵੀ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ?
Nisumbh hath waged a very fierce war which poet can describe its splendour?,
ਨਹਿਭੀਖਮਦ੍ਰੋਣਿਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਅਰੁਦ੍ਰੋਣਜਭੀਮਨਅਰਜਨਅਉਕਰਨੈ॥
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ, ਦ੍ਰੋਣਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਚਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ (ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਯੁੱਧ) ਨਹੀਂ (ਕੀਤਾ) ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਭੀਮ, ਅਰਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਨ (ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ) (ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਹਾਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁਖ ਯੋਧੇ ਹਨ)।
Such a war hath not been fought by Bhishma, Dronacharya, Kripachrya, Bhima, Arjuna and Karana.,
ਬਹੁਦਾਨਵਕੇਤਨਸ੍ਰਉਨਕੀਧਾਰਛੁਟੀਸੁਲਗੇਸਰਕੇਫਰਨੈ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤੱਤੀਰੀਆਂ ਫੁਟ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ (ਫਲ) ਲਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ, (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ)
The current of blood is flowing form the bodies of many demons, because they have been pierced by the arrows.,
ਜਨੁਰਾਤਿਕੈਦੂਰਿਬਿਭਾਸਦਸੋਦਿਸਫੈਲਿਚਲੀਰਵਿਕੀਕਿਰਨੈ॥੧੯੫॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਿਰਨਾਂ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਸਰ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੯੫॥
It seems that in order to end the night, the sun-rays are scattering at dawn from all the ten directions.195.,
ਚੰਡਿਲੈਚਕ੍ਰਧਸੀਰਨਮੈਰਿਸਿਕ੍ਰੁਧਕੀਓਬਹੁਦਾਨਵਮਾਰੇ॥
ਚੰਡੀ ਚੱਕਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਸ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੈਂਤ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Chandi penetrated in the battlefield with her disc and with anger in her she killed many demons.,
ਫੇਰਿਗਦਾਗਹਿਕੈਲਹਿਕੈਚਹਿਕੈਰਿਪੁਸੈਨਹਤੀਲਲਕਾਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਗਦਾ ਫੜ ਕੇ, ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਚਾਹ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
Then she caught hold of the mace and revolved it, it glistened then shouting loudly, she killed with it the army of the enemy.
ਲੈਕਰਖਗਅਦਗਮਹਾਸਿਰਦੈਤਨਕੇਬਹੁਭੂਪਰਝਾਰੇ॥
(ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ) ਡਾਢੀ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਵੀਂ ('ਅਦਗ') ਵੱਡੀ ਖੜਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ (ਖਿੰਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ)।
Taking her glittering sword in her land, she hath thrown and scattered the heads of great demons on the earth.,
ਰਾਮਕੇਜੁਧਸਮੇਹਨੂਮਾਨਿਜੁਆਨਮਨੋਗਰੂਏਗਿਰਡਾਰੇ॥੧੯੬॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵੇਲੇ ਹਨੂਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਡੇ ਵਡੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਸੁਟੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੯੬॥
It seems that in the war fought by Ram Chandra, the mighty Hanuman hath thrown down the great mountains.196.,
ਦਾਨਵਏਕਬਡੋਬਲਵਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਲੈਪਾਨਿਹਕਾਰਕੈਧਾਇਓ॥
ਇਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਦੈਂਤ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ।
One very powerful demon, holding his sword in his hand and shouting loudly came running.,
ਕਾਢੁਕੈਖਗਸੁਚੰਡਿਕਾਮਿਆਨਤੇਤਾਤਨਬੀਚਭਲੇਬਰਿਲਾਇਓ॥
(ਅਗੋਂ) ਚੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਮਿਆਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਖੜਗ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
Chandi, taking out her double-edged sword from the sheath, with great force struck the body of the demon.,
ਟੂਟਪਰਿਓਸਿਰਵਾਧਰਿਤੇਜਸੁਇਆਛਬਿਕੋਕਵਿਕੇਮਨਿਆਇਓ॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ। ਇਸ ਛਬੀ ਦਾ ਯਸ਼ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਜ ਆਇਆ
