ਸੰਖ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 'ਗਦ' ਸ਼ਬਦ (ਨਿਲਕਦਾ ਹੈ)
ਤਾਲੰਸੰਖਭੇਰੀਨਦ॥੫੫੨॥
ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟਿਆਂ ਸੰਖਾਂ ਤੇ ਭੋਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਦ (ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ) ॥੫੫੨॥
The sky is filled with the sounds of conches, other tunes and drums.552.
ਤੁਟੇਤ੍ਰਣਫੁਟੇਅੰਗ॥
ਕਵਚ ਟੁੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ) ਫੁੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
ਜੁਝੇਵੀਰਰੁਝੇਜੰਗ॥
ਸੂਰਮੇ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਹੋਏ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
The armours of the warriors have been torn and they are fighting in the war
ਮਚੇਸੂਰਨਚੀਹੂਰ॥
ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਚਾਉ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੂਰਾਂ ਨੱਚ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਮਤੀਧੁਮਭੂਮੀਪੂਰ॥੫੫੩॥
ਮਸਤੀ ਦੀ ਧੁੰਮ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ (ਧਰਤੀ) ਪੂਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੫੫੩॥
The brave fighters are confronting one another and the heavenly damsels are dancing there is talk of war on the earth.553.

ਅੱਧੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਹੋਏ ਧੜ ਉੱਠ ਖੜੋਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਜਾਲੀਦਾਰ ਕਵਚ,
ਪਖਰਰਾਗਖੋਲਸਨਧ॥
ਦਸਤਾਨੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਟੋਪ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ (ਸਜਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ)
The headless trunks arose in the war and were opening their gauzy armour
ਛਕੇਛੋਭਛੁਟੇਕੇਸ॥
ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਕੇਸ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਹੇਏ ਹਨ।
ਸੰਘਰਸੂਰਸਿੰਘਨਭੇਸ॥੫੫੪॥
ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੪॥
With garbs like lions the warriors are highly infuriated and their hair have loosened.554.
ਟੁਟਰਟੀਕਟੁਟੇਟੋਪ॥
(ਫੁਲਾਦੀ) ਟੋਪ ਅਤੇ (ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੇ) ਟਿੱਕੇ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
ਭਗੇਭੂਪਭੰਨੀਧੋਪ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਤਲਵਾਰ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ) ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The helmets have broken and the kings have fled away
ਘੁਮੇਘਾਇਝੂਮੀਭੂਮ॥
ਫੱਟੜ ਘੁਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਉਝੜਝਾੜਧੂਮੰਧੂਮ॥੫੫੫॥
ਜੰਗਲ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ (ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ) ਧੁੰਧ ਪਸਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੫੫੫॥
The warriors, having been wounded, are falling on the earth after swinging and with a bang they are falling.555.

ਬੇਹਿਸਾਬੇ ਰਣ-ਸਿੰਘੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਲੜਾਕੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ (ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਸੱਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ
The large trumpets have resounded and the bedecked warriors are being seen
ਜੁਝੇਟੂਕਟੂਕਹ੍ਵੈਖੇਤ॥
ਅਤੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੁਕੜੇ-ਟੁਕੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ,
ਮਤੇਮਦਜਾਣਅਚੇਤ॥੫੫੬॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਸੁੱਧ ਹੋਏ ਪਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੫੫੬॥
They are dying in the war being chopped in bits and being intoxicated in war-frenzy, they are becoming unconscious.556.

ਬੇਅੰਤ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਚਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਰੰਗੇਰੰਗਭੂਮਦੁਰੰਤ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ (ਲਹੂ ਦੇ) ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Innumerable weapons and arms are being used and the earth is coloured with blood upto a great distance
ਖੁਲੇਅੰਧਧੁੰਧਹਥਿਆਰ॥
ਹਥਿਆਰ ਅੱਧਾ-ਧੁੰਧ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ (ਚਮਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ)
ਬਕੇਸੂਰਵੀਰਬਿਕ੍ਰਾਰ॥੫੫੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਲਲਕਾਰੇ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੭॥
The weapons are being struck indiscreetly and the terrible warriors are shouting.557.
ਬਿਥੁਰੀਲੁਥਜੁਥਅਨੇਕ॥
ਲੋਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਝੁੰਡ ਖਿੱਲਰੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ,
ਮਚੇਕੋਟਿਭਗੇਏਕ॥
ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ (ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ) ਭੱਜ ਨਿਕਲੇ ਹਨ।
The clusters of corpses are lying scattered the warriors are engrossed in a horrible war on one side and on the other, some of them are running away.

ਭੂਤ, ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਾਣ ਹੱਸ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਯੋਧੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜੂਝ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੮॥
The ghosts and friends are laughing in the cemeteries and here the brave fighters are fighting after receiving blows of swords.558.

ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਘੋੜ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਰਾਮਰਾਮਬਿਨੁਸੰਕਪੁਕਾਰਤਆਵਹੀ॥
ਜੋ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਮ-ਰਾਮ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The demon warriors wearing armours, march forward in great fury, but on reaching within the forces of Ram, they become like followers of Ram and begin to shout the name of Ram
ਰੁਝਜੁਝਝੜਪੜਤਭਯਾਨਕਭੂਮਪਰ॥
ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਝ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਰਾਮਚੰਦ੍ਰਕੇਹਾਥਗਏਭਵਸਿੰਧਤਰ॥੫੫੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੱਥੋਂ (ਮਰ ਕੇ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੋਂ ਤਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੯॥
While fighting they fall down on the earth in a dreadful posture and ferring across the world-ocean at the hands of Ram.559.
ਸਿਮਟਸਾਗਸੰਗ੍ਰਹੈਸਮੁਹਹੁਐਜੂਝਹੀ॥
ਯੋਧੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਪਕੜਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਟੂਕਟੂਕਹੁਐਗਿਰਤਨਘਰਕਹਬੂਝਹੀ॥
ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
After revolving and holding the lance the warriors come forward and fight and fall down on being chopped into bits

ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਟੁੱਟ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੬੦॥
On receiving only the small blows of the edge of swords the brave fighters fall down in numerous part.560.

(ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ) ਬਰਛੇ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ, ਘੋੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਚਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਝਾਗੜਦੀਝੂਮਗਿਰਭੂਮਿਸਾਗੜਦੀਸੁਰਪੁਰਹਿਸਿਧਾਵਹਿ॥
(ਫੱਟ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੇ ਉਹ) ਝੂਮ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਅਰਗਪੁਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Holding the lances the warriors are causing them to dance in the war and after swinging and falling on the earth, they are leaving for the abode of gods

ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਭਿੱਜੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ॥੫੬੧॥
The brave fighters are falling with chopped limbs in the battlefield and their dreadful bodies are saturated with blood.561.

ਰਾਵਣ (ਰਿਪੁ-ਰਾਜ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੱਛਮਣ ਵੱਲ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਤਨ ਕੁੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਨ ਦਾ ਵੇਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਝਾਗੜਦੀਝੂਮਿਭੂਅਗਿਰਯੋਸਾਗੜਦੀਸੁਤਬੈਰਉਤਾਰਯੋ॥੫੬੨॥
(ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੱਛਮਣ) ਘੁਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਨੋ (ਰਾਵਣ ਨੇ) ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੫੬੨॥
