ਅਤੇ (ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨੂੰ) ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ॥੮੦੪॥

ਹੋਰ ਭੇਸ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ
ਭਗੇਜਾਹਿ॥
ਕੇਸ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ,
ਤਜੇਰਾਮ॥
ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ-
ਧਰਮੰਧਾਮ॥੮੦੪॥
ਭੇਟਾ ('ਕੋਰ') ਵਜੋਂ- (ਭੱਜੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੮੦੫॥
They are running away without seeing anything they are leaving even Ram, the abode of Dharma.804.

ਖੁਲੇਕੇਸ॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ, ਦੋ ਪਹਿਰ ਚੰਗਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਿਆ।
ਸਸਤ੍ਰੰਛੋਰ॥
ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਮਾਰੀ ਗਈ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਹੀ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ॥੮੦੬॥
ਦੈਦੈਕੋਰ॥੮੦੫॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
The warriors, disguising themselves, loosening their hair and forsaking their weapons, are running away by the sides of the battlefield.805.
ਦੋਹਰਾ॥
ਲਵ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਸ਼ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ) ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ ਲਈ ਵੰਗਾਰਿਆ ॥੮੦੭॥

ਦੁਹੂੰਦਿਸਨਜੋਧਾਹਰੈਪਰਯੋਜੁਧਦੁਐਜਾਮ॥
ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੁਕੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋ ?
The warriors of both sides were killed and for two pehars (about six houts) the war continued
ਜੂਝਸਕਲਸੈਨਾਗਈਰਹਿਗੇਏਕਲਰਾਮ॥੮੦੬॥
ਹੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ) ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪ ਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ ॥੮੦੮॥
All the forces of Ram were killed and now he survived alone.806.
ਤਿਹੂਭ੍ਰਾਤਬਿਨੁਭੈਹਨਯੋਅਰਸਭਦਲਹਿਸੰਘਾਰ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਹਾਂਦਰੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਿਹਾ-

ਲਵਅਰੁਕੁਸਜੂਝਨਨਿਮਿਤਲੀਨੋਰਾਮਹਕਾਰ॥੮੦੭॥
ਹੇ ਬਾਲਕੋ! ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ॥੮੦੯॥
Their forces fearlessly and now they challenged Ram.807.
ਸੈਨਾਸਕਲਜੁਝਾਇਕੈਕਤਿਬੈਠੇਛਪਜਾਇ॥

The boys (of the sage) said to Ram, “O, the King of Kaushal!
ਅਬਹਮਸੋਤੁਮਹੂੰਲਰੋਸੁਨਿਸੁਨਿਕਉਸਲਰਾਇ॥੮੦੮॥
ਮਿਥਲਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ
You have got all your army killed and where are you hiding now? Now come and fight with us.”808.
