ਫੇਰਿਉਠੀਜਸੁਦਾਪਰਿਪਾਇਨਤਾਕੀਕਰੀਬਹੁਭਾਤਬਡਾਈ॥
ਜਸੋਧਾ ਫਿਰ ਉਠੀ ਅਤੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ) ਚਰਨੀਂ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕੀਤੀ,
Then Yashoda got up from the feet of Krishna and she eulogized Krishna in many ways
ਹੇਜਗਕੇਪਤਿਹੇਕਰੁਨਾਨਿਧਿਹੋਇਅਜਾਨਕਹਿਓਮਮਮਾਈ॥
ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਹੇ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਨਿਧਾਨ! ਮੈਂ ਬੇਸਮਝੀ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ (ਤੁਹਾਡੀ) ਮਾਤਾ ਅਖਵਾਉਣ ਲਗੀ।
“O Lord! Thou art the master of the world and the ocean of mercy, I had considered myself the mother in ignorance
ਸਾਰੇਛਿਮੋਹਮਰੋਤੁਮਅਉਗਨਹੁਇਮਤਿਮੰਦਿਕਰੀਜੁਢਿਠਾਈ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਵਗੁਣ ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਉ ਜੋ (ਮੈਂ) ਤੁੱਛ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਢੀਠਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
“I am of low intellect, forgive all my vices
ਮੀਟਲਯੋਮੁਖਤਉਹਰਿਜੀਤਿਹਪੈਮਮਤਾਡਰਿਬਾਤਛਿਪਾਈ॥੧੩੫॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਮਮਤਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਲੁਕਾ ਲਈ ॥੧੩੫॥
” Then Hari (Krishna) closed his mouth and concealed this fact under the impact of affection.135.
ਕਬਿਤੁ॥

ਕਰੁਨਾਕੈਜਸੁਧਾਕਹਿਯੋਹੈਇਮਗੋਪਿਨਸੋਖੇਲਬੇਕੇਕਾਜਤੋਰਿਲਿਆਏਗੋਪਬਨਸੌ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਨੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕ ਬਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸੋਟੀਆਂ (ਛਿਟੀਆਂ) ਤੋੜ ਲਿਆਏ ਹਨ।
ਬਾਰਕੋਕੇਕਹੇਕਰਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਮਨਆਪਨੇਮੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੋਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਤਨਲਾਗੀਛੂਛਕਨਸੌ॥
ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ ਤੇ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਗ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Yashoda very kindly allowed Krishna to go and play in the forest alongwith the children of gopas, but on complaint of other children the mother began to beat Krishna again with sticks
ਦੇਖਿਦੇਖਿਲਾਸਨਕੌਰੋਵੈਸੁਤਰੋਵੈਮਾਤਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਮਹਾਮੋਹਿਕਰਿਮਨਸੌ॥
(ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਪਈਆਂ) ਲਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮਾਤਾ) ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮਹਾ ਮੋਹ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ।
Then seeing the marks of sticks on the body of Krishna, the mother, in attachment, began to weep
ਰਾਮਰਾਮਕਹਿਸਭੋਮਾਰਬੇਕੀਕਹਾਚਲੀਸਾਮੁਹੇਨਬੋਲੀਐਰੀਐਸੇਸਾਧੁਜਨਸੌ॥੧੩੬॥
(ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਾਧ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦਾ ॥੧੩੬॥
The poet Shyam says that beating of such a saintly personality cannot be thought about, one should not even get angry before him.136.

ਖੀਰਬਿਲੋਵਨਕੌਉਠੀਜਸੁਦਾਹਰਿਕੀਮਾਇ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਾ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਦਹੀ ਰਿੜਕਣ ਲਈ ਉਠੀ ਹੈ
The mother Yashoda has got up to churn the curd
ਮੁਖਤੇਗਾਵੈਪੂਤਗੁਨਮਹਿਮਾਕਹੀਨਜਾਇ॥੧੩੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ) ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧੩੭॥
She is uttering a eulogy of her son from her mouth and his praise cannot be described.137.

ਏਕਸਮੈਜਸੁਧਾਸੰਗਿਗੋਪਿਨਖੀਰਮਥੇਕਰਿਲੈਕੈਮਧਾਨੀ॥
ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ (ਰਲ ਕੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਮਧਾਣੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦਹੀ ਰਿੜਕਣ ਲਗੀ।
Once Yashoda was churning the curd alongwith the gopis
ਊਪਰਕੋਕਟਿਸੌਕਸਿਕੈਪਟਰੋਮਨਮੈਹਰਿਜੋਤਿਸਮਾਨੀ॥
ਲਕ ਉਪਰ ਕਸਵਾਂ ਪਟਕਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੈ।
She had tied her waist and she was meditating on Krishna
ਘੰਟਕਾਛੁਦ੍ਰਕਸੀਤਿਹਊਪਰਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੀਤਿਹਕੀਜੁਕਹਾਨੀ॥
ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਨਿੱਕੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਕੀਆਂ ਘੁੰਘਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੜਾਗੀ ਕਸੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਿੱਤਾਂਤ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
There were small bells tightened over the girdle
ਦਾਨਔਪ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਰਮਕੀਸੁਧਿਕੈਮੁਖਤੈਹਰਿਕੀਸੁਭਗਾਵਤਬਾਨੀ॥੧੩੮॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਜਸੋਧਾ) ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਿ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧੩੮॥
The poet Shyam says that the charity and the glory of austerity cannot be described the mother, in delight, is singing the songs about Krishna from her mouth.138.
ਖੀਰਭਰਿਯੋਜਬਹੀਤਿਹਕੋਕੁਚਿਤਉਹਰਿਜੀਤਬਹੀਫੁਨਿਜਾਗੇ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਦੇ ਥਣ ਦੁੱਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ, ਤਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਗ ਪਏ
When the teats of mother Yashoda were filled with milk, then Krishna awoke
ਪਯਸੁਪਿਆਵਹੁਹੇਜਸੁਦਾਪ੍ਰਭੁਜੀਇਹਹੀਰਸਿਮੈਅਨੁਰਾਗੇ॥
(ਅਤੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ, ਹੇ ਜਸੋਧਾ (ਮਾਤਾ)! (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਦੁੱਧ ਪਿਆਓ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
She began to give him milk and Krishna was absorbed in that pleasure
ਦੂਧਫਟਿਯੋਹੁਇਬਾਸਨਤੇਤਬਧਾਇਚਲੀਇਹਰੋਵਨਲਾਗੇ॥
(ਇਤਨੇ ਵਿਚ) ਬਰਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ ਦੁੱਧ ਫਟ ਗਿਆ (ਅਥਵਾ ਉਬਲ ਚਲਿਆ) ਤਦ (ਦੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣ ਲਈ) ਜਸੋਧਾ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੋਣ ਲਗੇ।
On the other side, the milk in the vessel turned sour, thinking about that vessel, the mother went to see it, then Krishna began to weep
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਕਰਿਓਮਨਮੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੇਪਤਿਪੈਘਰਿਤੇਉਠਿਬਾਹਰਿਭਾਗੇ॥੧੩੯॥
(ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਤੋਂ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਨੂੰ ਭਜ ਗਏ ॥੧੩੯॥
He (the king of Braja) got so much angry that he ran out from the house.139.
