ਗੂਦਪਰਿਓਤਿਹਕੋਇਮਜਿਉਸਵਦਾਗਰਕੋਟੂਟਿਗਯੋਮਟੁਘੀਕੋ॥੧੭੩॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਝ (ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਡਿਗ ਪਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੌਦਾਗਰ ਦੇ ਘਿਓ ਦਾ ਮਟਕਾ ਟੁਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਅਤੇ ਘਿਓ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡੁਲ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧੭੩॥
The marrow of his head came out like the breaking of the pitcher of ghee of some trader.173.
ਰਾਹਭਯੋਤਬਹੀਨਿਕਸੇਹਰਿਗਵਾਰਸਭੈਨਿਕਸੇਤਿਹਨਾਰੇ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ ਅਘਾਸੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਾਟਣ ਨਾਲ) ਰਾਹ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਏ।
In this way, when the passage was created, Krishna came out alongwith his gopa friends from the head of the demon
ਦੇਵਤਬੈਹਰਖੇਮਨਮੈਪਿਖਿਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਚਿਓਹਰਿਪੰਨਗਭਾਰੇ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋਏ (ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਵੱਡੇ ਸੱਪ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਖਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
All the gods were overjoyed to see Krishna surviving from the attack of the huge serpent
ਗਾਵਤਗੀਤਸਬੈਗਣਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਬ੍ਰਹਮਸਭੋਮੁਖਬੇਦਉਚਾਰੇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਗਣ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਣ ਲਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵੇਦ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਗੇ।
The ganas and gandarvas began to sing songs and Brahma began to recite Vedas
ਆਨੰਦਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਯੋਮਨਮੈਨਗਰਛਕਜੀਤਿਚਲੇਘਰਿਭਾਰੇ॥੧੭੪॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋਏ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੱਪ ਰੂਪੀ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੪॥
There was happiness in the minds of all, and Krishna and his companions, the conquerors of the Naga, started for their home.174.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕਢਿਯੋਸਿਰਿਕੇਮਗਿਹ੍ਵੈਨਕਢਿਯੋਮੁਖਕੇਮਗੁਜੋਰਅੜੀਕੇ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਸੱਪ ਦੇ) ਸਿਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ (ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ) ਕਢਿਆ, ਹਠ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਢਿਆ।
Krishna came out from the head of the demon and not from his mouth, saturated with blood
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਭਰਿਯੋਇਮਠਾਢਿਭਯੋਪਹਰੇਪਟਜਿਉਮੁਨਿਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਮੜੀਕੇ॥
ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਮੁਨੀ (ਭਗਵੇ) ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਪਾ ਕੇ 'ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਮੜੀ' (ਉਤੇ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਹੈ)।
All were standing like a sage clad in red ochre clothes
ਏਕਕਹੀਇਹਕੀਉਪਮਾਫੁਨਿਅਉਕਬਿਕੇਮਨਮਧਿਬੜੀਕੇ॥
ਇਸ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਉਪਮਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ (ਹੋਰ ਉਪਮਾ ਵੀ) ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ
The poet has also given a simile for this spectacle
ਢੋਵਤਈਟਗੁਆਰਸਨੈਹਰਿਦਉਰਿਚੜੇਜਨੁਸੀਸਗੜੀਕੇ॥੧੭੫॥
ਕਿ ਇਟਾਂ ਢੋਂਹਦੇ (ਲਾਲੋ ਲਾਲ) ਹੋਏ ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕ ਪਸੀਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੜੁਚ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੌੜ ਕੇ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਖਰ ਉਪਰ ਜਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੫॥
It seemed that the gopas had become red by carrying on heads the bricks and Krishna had run and stood on the top of the citadel.175.
ਇਤਿਅਘਾਸੁਰਦੈਤਬਧਹਿ॥
ਹੁਣ ਵਛਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਰਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਕਥਨ:
End of “The killing of the demon Aghasura.”
ਅਥਬਛਰੇਗਵਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਚੁਰੈਬੋਕਥਨੰ॥
ਇਥੇ ਅਘਾਸੁਰ ਦੈਂਤ ਦਾ ਵਧ ਸਮਾਪਤ।
Now begins the description of the calves and gopas stolen by Brahma

ਰਾਛਸਮਾਰਿਗਏਜਮੁਨਾਤਟਿਜਾਇਸਭੋਮਿਲਿਅੰਨਮੰਗਾਯੋ॥
(ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕ) ਰਾਖਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਜਮਨਾ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਅੰਨ (ਭੋਜਨ) ਮੰਗਵਾਇਆ।
After killing the demon, all went to the bank of Yamuna and put the articles of meal together
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਪ੍ਰਵਾਰਪਰਿਓਮੁਰਲੀਕਟਿਖੋਸਲਈਮਨਮੈਸੁਖਪਾਯੋ॥
(ਸਭ ਨੇ) ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ (ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਵੀ) ਮੁਰਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਰਕਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਅੜੁੰਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
All the boys gathered around Krishna putting his flute in his waist, Krishna felt great delight
ਕੈਛਮਕਾਬਰਖੈਛਟਕਾਕਰਬਾਮਹੂੰਸੋਸਭਹੂੰਵਹਖਾਯੋ॥
(ਉਹ ਸਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ) ਛਮਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਛੂਛਕਾਂ (ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ) ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਖਬੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ (ਅੰਨ) ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
All the boys gathered around Krishna putting his flute in his waist, Krishna felt great delight
ਮੀਠਲਗੇਤਿਹਕੀਉਪਮਾਕਰਕੈਗਤਿਕੈਹਰਿਕੇਮੁਖਪਾਯੋ॥੧੭੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ (ਬਾਲਕ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ (ਅੰਨ) ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਲਗਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੬॥
They immediately seasoned the food and began to eat it quickly with their left hand and put the tasty food in the mouth of Krishna.176.
ਕੋਊਡਰੈਹਰਿਕੇਮੁਖਿਗ੍ਰਾਸਠਗਾਇਕੋਊਅਪਣੇਮੁਖਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਕੋਈ (ਬਾਲਕ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਗ੍ਰਾਹੀ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਚਕਮਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Someone, being frightened, began to put the morsels in the mouth of Krishna and someone causing Krishna to eat the food,
ਹੋਇਗਏਤਨਮੈਕਛੁਨਾਮਕਖੇਲਕਰੋਸੰਗਿਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਰਕਾਰੇ॥
ਕਾਲੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡਦਿਆਂ ਬਾਲਕ ਤਨ ਦੀ ਸੁਧ ਬੁਧ ਖੋਹ ਬੈਠੇ (ਅਤੇ ਵੱਛਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਰਖ ਸਕੇ)।
Began to put the morsels in his own mouth in this way all began to play with Krishna
ਤਾਛਿਨਲੈਬਛਰੇਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਇਕਠੇਕਰਿਕੈਸੁਕੁਟੀਮਧਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵੱਛਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ) ਇਕ ਗੁਫਾ ਵਿਚ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
At the same time, Brahma gathered together their calves and closed them in a cottage
ਢੂੰਢਿਫਿਰੇਨਲਹੇਸੁਕਰੈਬਛਰੇਅਰੁਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਏਕਰਤਾਰੇ॥੧੭੭॥
(ਬਾਲਕ) ਵੱਛਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਭਦੇ ਫਿਰੇ, ਪਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ (ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਗਵਾਚ ਗਏ) ਤਾਂ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੧੭੭॥
All of them went in search of their calves, but when not any gopa and calf could be found the Lord (Krishna) created new calves and gopas.177.

ਜਬੈਹਰੇਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਇਹੈਤਬਹਰਿਜੀਤਤਕਾਲੁ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾ ਲਿਆ
ਕਿਧੋਬਨਾਏਛਿਨਕੁਮੈਬਛਰੇਸੰਗਿਗਵਾਲ॥੧੭੮॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਛੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਵਾਲ ਬਾਲਕ ਬਣਾ ਲਏ ॥੧੭੮॥
When Brahma did all this stealing, then at the same instant Krishna created the calves alongwith gopas.178.
