ਕਾਨਰਕੀਬਿਨਤੀਕਰੋਕੀਨੋਇਹੈਬਿਚਾਰ॥੨੬੪॥
(ਕਿ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੀਏ ॥੨੬੪॥
All of them decided, “Alright, let us go out of water and then request Krishna.”264.

ਦੈਅਗੂਆਪਿਛੂਆਅਪੁਨੇਕਰਪੈਸਭਹੀਜਲਤਿਆਗਿਖਰੀਹੈ॥
(ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਗੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਖੜੋ ਗਈਆਂ।
All the them came out of water, concealing their secret parts with their hands
ਕਾਨਕੇਪਾਇਪਰੀਬਹੁਬਾਰਨਅਉਬਿਨਤੀਬਹੁਭਾਤਿਕਰੀਹੈ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
They fell at the feet of Krishna and requested him in various ways
ਦੇਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਹਮਰੀਸਰ੍ਰਹੀਆਤੁਮਜੋਕਰਿਕੈਛਲਸਾਥਹਰੀਹੈ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਕਿਹਾ, ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਸਾੜੀਆਂ ਦਿਓ, ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਛਲ ਨਾਲ ਚੁਕ ਲਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
And asked him to return the stolen clothes
ਜੇਕਹਿਹੋਮਨਿਹੈਹਮਸੋਅਤਿਹੀਸਭਸੀਤਹਿਸਾਥਠਰੀਹੈ॥੨੬੫॥
ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕਹੇਂਗਾ ਅਸੀਂ, ਉਹੋ ਮੰਨਾਂਗੀਆਂ, ਠੰਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਠਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਾਂ ॥੨੬੫॥
“We have said, whatever was in our mind give us the clothes quickly, we are shivering with cold.”265.

ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਕਹਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੰਨ ਜਾਓਗੀਆਂ? (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ) ਕਿਹਾ,
Krishna said, “See, whatever I shall say now, all of you will have to accept that
ਸਭਹੀਮੁਖਚੂਮਨਦੇਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਚੁਮਹੈਹਮਹੂੰਤੁਮਹੂੰਗਨਿਹੋ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਚੁੰਮਣ ਦਿਓ; ਮੈਂ ਚੁੰਮਦਾ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਿਣਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਣਾ।
Let me kiss the faces of all I shall kiss and you count, all of you
ਅਰੁਤੋਰਨਦੇਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਸਭਹੀਕੁਚਨਾਤਰਹਉਤੁਮਕੋਹਨਿਹੋ॥
(ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ) ਕਿਹਾ, (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਛਾਤੀਆਂ ਪੁਟਣ ਦਿਓ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ (ਮੈਂ) ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ (ਪਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ) ਮਾਰਾਂਗਾ।
“Let me touch the nipple of your breasts, otherwise I shall behave more badly with you
ਤਬਹੀਪਟਦੇਉਸਭੈਤੁਮਰੇਇਹਝੂਠਨਹੀਸਤਿਕੈਜਨਿਹੋ॥੨੬੬॥
ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣੋ (ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਦਿਓਗੀਆਂ) ਤਦ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ ॥੨੬੬॥
I am speaking truth that I shall give you the clothes only after doing all this.”266.
ਫੇਰਿਕਹੀਮੁਖਤੇਹਰਿਜੀਸੁਨਿਰੀਇਕਬਾਤਕਹੋਸੰਗਤੇਰੇ॥
ਫਿਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ, ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੀਓ! ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸੁਣੋ।
ਜੋਰਿਪ੍ਰਨਾਮਕਰੋਕਰਸੋਤੁਮਕਾਮਕਰਾਉਪਜੀਜੀਅਮੇਰੇ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰੋ; ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਮ-ਵਾਸਨਾ ਜਾਗ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
Krishna said again, “Listen to one thing of mine and bow before me with folded hands because all of you abide now in my heart like the supernatural powers of the god of love
ਤੌਹਮਬਾਤਕਹੀਤੁਮਸੋਜਬਘਾਤਬਨੀਸੁਭਠਉਰਅਕੇਰੇ॥
ਤਦ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਇਹ ਇਕਾਂਤ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਦਾਓ ਲਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
“I have said this to all of you for doing it, seeing the proper occasion and solitude for it
ਦਾਨਲਹੈਜੀਅਕੋਹਮਹੂੰਹਸਿਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕਹੀਤੁਮਰੋਤਨਹੇਰੇ॥੨੬੭॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ (ਦੇਹ) ਦਾਨ ਲੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੬੭॥
My heart has become satisfied on seeing you and receiving the donation of beauty from all of you.”267.
ਕਬਿਯੋਬਾਚਦੋਹਰਾ॥

ਹ੍ਵੈਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਿਕਹਨੇਲਗੀਸਭੈਸੁਧਾਸੀਬਾਤ॥੨੬੮॥
(ਤਾਂ) ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ (ਮਧੁਰ) ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ ॥੨੬੮॥
When Krishna saw towards the gopis, causing the dance of his eyes, then all of them being pleased, began to utter sweet words like ambrosia.268.

ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਤੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਥੋੜੀ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੇਡਦਾ? ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ!
“O Krishna! already you have less understanding, you may play now in your own home
ਨੰਦਸੁਨੈਜਸੁਧਾਤਪਤੈਤਿਹਤੇਤੁਮਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਭਏਹਰਕਾਹੋ॥
(ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ (ਤਾਂ) ਕਲਪਣਗੇ, (ਤੂੰ ਕਿਤੇ) ਹਲਕਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ (ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ)।
When Nand and Yashoda will listen, then you will feel more inferior with shame
ਨੇਹੁੰਲਗੈਨਹਜੋਰਭਏਤੁਮਨੇਹੁਲਗਾਵਤਹੋਬਰਕਾਹੋ॥
ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ (ਕਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ, (ਪਰ ਤੂੰ) ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਹੁੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਲਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੇਹੁਕਹਾਇਨਬਾਤਨਤੇਰਸਜਾਨਤਕਾਅਜਹੂੰਲਰਕਾਹੋ॥੨੬੯॥
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੀ ਲਭੇਗਾ? ਤੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਹੈਂ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਾਮ ਦਾ) ਰਸ ਕੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨੬੯॥
“The love cannot be done with force, why are you doing all that? You cannot fell pleasure in such things now, because you are still a boy.”269.

ਕਮਲਸੇਆਨਨਕੁਰੰਗਨਸੇਨੇਤ੍ਰਨਸੋਤਨਕੀਪ੍ਰਭਾਮੈਸਾਰੇਭਾਵਨਸੋਭਰੀਆ॥
(ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਕਮਲ ਵਰਗਾ ਮੁਖ ਹੈ, ਹਿਰਨ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਜਤਹੈਗੁਪੀਆਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਭਈਐਸੀਭਾਤਿਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾਚਰ੍ਰਹੈਤੇਜਿਉਬਿਰਾਜੈਸੇਤਹਰੀਆ॥
(ਅਜਿਹੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ) ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਰਾਜ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਫ਼ੈਦ ਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਬਿਰਾਜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The gopis with lotus-like faces, doe-like eyes and with lustrous bodies filled with emotions looked impressive like the green and white colours on the rising of the moon
ਰਸਹੀਕੀਬਾਤੈਰਸਰੀਤਿਹੀਕੇਪ੍ਰੇਮਹੂੰਮੈਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਾਥਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਕੇਖਰੀਆ॥
ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਸ ਦੀ ਰੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਖੜੋਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
They are standing with Krishna, while talking about dancing and amorous pastime
ਮਦਨਕੇਹਾਰਨਬਨਾਇਬੇਕੇਕਾਜਮਾਨੋਹਿਤਕੈਪਰੋਵਤਹੈਮੋਤਿਨਕੀਲਰੀਆ॥੨੭੦॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੂਪੀ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਪਰੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ॥੨੭੦॥
They are standing like the ones standing for braiding the necklace of gems in order to vest the god of love.270.

ਕਾਹੇਕੋਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਕਾਮਕੇਬਾਨਲਗਾਵਤਹੋਤਨਕੇਧਨੁਭਉਹੈ॥
ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ! (ਤੂੰ) ਭਵਾਂ ਰੂਪੀ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਕਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਕਿਉਂ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਕਾਹੇਕਉਨੇਹੁਲਗਾਵਤਹੋਮੁਸਕਾਵਤਹੋਚਲਿਆਵਤਸਉਹੈ॥
ਨੇਹੁੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਲਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਸਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਚਲਿਆ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
“O Krishna! why are you discharging the arrows of the god of love from the bow of your eyebrows? Why are you advancing towards us with increased love smilingly?
ਕਾਹੇਕਉਪਾਗਧਰੋਤਿਰਛੀਅਰੁਕਾਹੇਭਰੋਤਿਰਛੀਤੁਮਗਉਹੈ॥
(ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ) ਤਿਰਛੀ ਪਗੜੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਧਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ (ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਤਿਰਛੀ ਕਟਾਖ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਕਾਹੇਰਿਝਾਵਤਹੌਮਨਭਾਵਤਆਹਿਦਿਵਵਾਤਹੈਹਮਸਉਹੈ॥੨੭੧॥
ਹੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਲਈ ਰਿਝਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੌਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਚੁਕਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨੭੧॥
“Why do you wear slanting turban and why do you walk slantingly also? Why are you bewitching us all? O Captivating one! you appear to us very fine, though you had sworn about it.”271.
ਬਾਤਸੁਨੀਹਰਿਕੀਜਬਸ੍ਰਉਨਨਰੀਝਹਸੀਸਭਹੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਬਾਮੈ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਕੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਤਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਰੀਝ ਕੇ ਹਸਣ ਲਗ ਗਈਆਂ।
ਠਾਢੀਭਈਤਰੁਤੀਰਤਬੈਹਰੂਏਹਰੂਏਚਲਕੈਗਜਗਾਮੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਗਜ-ਗਾਮਨੀਆਂ ਹੌਲੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਚਲ ਕੇ (ਉਸ) ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਖੜੋ ਗਈਆਂ।
When the women of Braja heard the words of Krishna, they got pleased in their minds and gradually, they having the gait of the elephant, came under that tree, on which Krishna was sitting
ਬੇਰਿਬਨੇਤਿਨਨੇਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਜਨੁਮੈਨਬਨਾਇਧਰੇਇਹਦਾਮੈ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਰ ਮਾਨੋ ਰੱਸੇ ('ਬੇਰਿ') ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੰਧੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Their eyes began to see Krishna constantly they appeared like the llighting of lust
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਰਸਾਤੁਰਪੇਖਤਯੌਜਿਮਟੂਟਤਬਾਜਛੁਧਾਜੁਤਤਾਮੈ॥੨੭੨॥
ਕਾਮ ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਆਤੁਰ ਹੋਏ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਲ) ਇੰਜ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੁਖਾ ਬਾਜ਼ ਆਪਣੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਉਤੇ ਟੁਟ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਪੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੭੨॥
Krishna, greatly agitated, seeing those women, fell upon them like a hungry falcon.272.
ਕਾਮਸੇਰੂਪਕਲਾਨਿਧਿਸੇਮੁਖਕੀਰਸੇਨਾਕਕੁਰੰਗਸੇਨੈਨਨ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ) ਕਾਮ ਵਰਗਾ ਰੂਪ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਮੁਖੜਾ, ਤੋਤੇ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਨਕ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਨ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹਨ।
ਕੰਚਨਸੇਤਨਦਾਰਿਮਦਾਤਕਪੋਤਸੇਕੰਠਸੁਕੋਕਿਲਬੈਨਨ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੇ) ਤਨ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੀ, ਅਨਾਰ ਜਿਹੇ ਦੰਦ, ਕਬੂਤਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਗਰਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਇਲ ਵਰਗੇ ਬੋਲ ਹਨ।
Those gopis had the beauty of the god of love, faces like moon, noses like parrot, eyes like doe, bodies like gold, teeth like pomegranate, necks like pigeons and sweet speech like nightingales
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਲਗਿਯੋਕਹਨੇਤਿਨਸੋਹਸਿਕੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਹਾਇਕਧੈਨਨ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਗਊਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ, (ਹੇ ਗੋਪੀਓ!)
ਮੋਹਿਲਯੋਸਭਹੀਮਨੁਮੇਰੋਸੁਭਉਹਨਚਾਇਤੁਮੈਸੰਗਸੈਨਨ॥੨੭੩॥
ਤੁਸਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਮਟਕਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨਤਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੨੭੩॥
Krishna said to them smilingly, “You people have enchanted my mind by your signs and by causing the dance of your eyebrows.273.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਡੇਰਸਕੇਹਿਰੀਆਸਬਹੀਜਲਬੀਚਅਚਾਨਕਹੇਰੀ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਰਸ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਲੁਟੇਰਾ ਹੈ। (ਜਦੋਂ) ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਜਲ ਵਿਚ (ਨੰਗੀਆਂ ਨਹਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ) ਵੇਖੀਆਂ (ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਜਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ)।
ਸਉਹਤੁਮੈਜਸੁਧਾਕਹੁਬਾਤਕਿਸਾਰਥਕੌਇਹਜਾਹਮਘੇਰੀ॥
(ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਸੋਧਾ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ, (ਸੱਚੀ) ਗੱਲ ਦਸ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਮੰਤਵ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਘੇਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Krishna appeared like a man of taste to them and they clung to him, they said . “You must swear by Yashoda that you will not tell anyone that you had enticed us like that
ਦੇਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਸਭਹੀਹਮਰੇਪਟਹੋਹਿਾਂਸਭੈਤੁਮਰੀਹਮਚੇਰੀ॥
ਸਭ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀਆਂ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਦਿਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਦਾਸੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ। ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ!
They added, “We are your slaves kindly return our clothes
ਕੈਸੇਪ੍ਰਨਾਮਕਰੈਤੁਮਕੋਅਤਿਲਾਜਕਰੈਹਰਿਜੀਹਮਤੇਰੀ॥੨੭੪॥
(ਅਸੀਂ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰੀਏ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਗ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੨੭੪॥
O Krishna, how should we bow before you? we are feeling very shy.”274.
ਪਾਪਕਰਿਯੋਹਰਿਕੈਤੁਮਰੇਪਟਅਉਤਰੁਪੈਚੜਿਸੀਤਸਹਾਹੈ॥
(ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਗੋਪੀਓ!) ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਚੁਰਾ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸਰਦੀ ਸਹਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
“I have stolen your clothes and now you are enduring more cold uselessly
