ਬਾਹਨਿਸਿੰਘਭੁਜਾਅਸਟਾਜਿਹਚਕ੍ਰਤ੍ਰਿਸੂਲਗਦਾਕਰਮੈ॥
(ਤੇਰਾ) ਵਾਹਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਹੈ, (ਤੇਰੀਆਂ) ਅੱਠ ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਚੱਕਰ, ਗਦਾ, ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ੂਲ,
“The lion is Thy vehicle O eight-armed goddess! The disc, the trident and the mace are in you hands
ਬਰਛੀਸਰਢਾਲਕਮਾਨਨਿਖੰਗਧਰੇਕਟਿਜੋਬਰਹੈਬਰਮੈ॥
ਬਰਛੀ, ਤੀਰ, ਢਾਲ, ਕਮਾਨ ਆਦਿ (ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ-ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ) ਅਤੇ ਲਕ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਥਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ) ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਵਚ (ਧਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ) ਹੈ।
There are dagger, arrows shield, bow also and the quiver in the waist
ਗੁਪੀਆਸਭਸੇਵਕਰੈਤਿਹਕੀਚਿਤਦੈਤਿਹਮੈਹਿਤੁਕੈਹਰਿਮੈ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
“All the gopis are worshipping the goddess, with desire for Krishna in their minds
ਪੁਨਿਅਛਤਧੂਪਪੰਚਾਮ੍ਰਿਤਦੀਪਜਗਾਵਤਹਾਰਡਰੈਗਰਮੈ॥੨੮੬॥
ਫਿਰ (ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ) ਚਾਵਲ, ਧੂਪ, ਕੜਾਹ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦੀਪ ਜਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਰ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨੮੬॥
They are offering fragrance, incense and Panchamrit and lighting the earthen lamps, they are putting the garlands of flowers around her neck.286

ਤੋਹੀਕੋਸੁਨੈਹੈਜਾਪਤੇਰੋਹੀਜਪੈਹੈਧਿਆਨਤੇਰੋਹੀਧਰੈਹੈਨਜਪੈਹੈਕਾਹੂੰਆਨਕੋ॥
ਤੇਰੇ (ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਜਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਜਪਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਪਦੀਆਂ।
“O mother! we are causing Thee to listen, we are repeating Thy Name, and we are not remembering anyone else
ਤੇਰੋਗੁਨਗੈਹੈਹਮਤੇਰੇਹੀਕਹੈਹੈਫੂਲਤੋਹੀਪੈਡਰੈਹੈਸਭਰਾਖੈਤੇਰੇਮਾਨਕੋ॥
ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਹੀ ਫੁਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਰਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਾਂ।
We are singing Thy praises and we are offering flowers to honour Thee
ਜੈਸੇਬਰੁਦੀਨੋਹਮੈਹੋਇਕੈਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਿਪਾਛੈਤੈਸੇਬਰਦੀਜੈਹਮੈਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਸੁਰਗ੍ਯਾਨਕੋ॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੁਣ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਵਰ ਦਿਓ।
The type of boon bestowed by Thee earlier on us, likewise bestow another boon regarding Krishna
ਦੀਜੀਐਬਿਭੂਤਿਕੈਬਨਾਸਪਤੀਦੀਜੈਕੈਧੋਮਾਲਾਦੀਜੈਮੋਤਿਨਕੈਮੁੰਦ੍ਰਾਦੀਜੈਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਕੋ॥੨੮੭॥
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੀ (ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ) ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ (ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ) ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਦਿਓ, ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਦਿਓ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦਿਓ (ਭਾਵ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਬਣਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਦਿਓ) ॥੨੮੭॥
If Krishna cannot be given to us, then give us ashes (for smearing our body), a Kanthi (necklace) to be put around our neck and rings for our ear so that we m

ਤੋਹਸਬਾਤਕਹੀਦੁਰਗਾਹਮਤੋਤੁਮਕੋਹਰਿਕੋਬਰੁਦੈਹੈ॥
ਤਦ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ (ਇਹ) ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਤੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਵਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Then Durga said smilingly, “I have bestowed the boon of Krishna on all of you
ਹੋਹੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਿਸਭੈਮਨਮੈਤੁਮਸਤਕਹਿਯੋਨਹੀਝੂਠਕਹੈਹੈ॥
ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ; ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ।
All of you may remain pleased, because I have spoken the truth and not told a lie
ਕਾਨਹਿਕੋਸੁਖਹੋਤੁਮਕੋਹਮਸੋਸੁਖਸੋਅਖੀਆਭਰਿਲੈਹੈ॥
(ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ) ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ (ਅਸੀਂ ਸਭ) ਸੁਖ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਭਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ (ਭਾਵ ਸਭ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ)।
“Krishna will be a comfort for you and seeing you n comfort, my eyes shall be filled with comfort
ਜਾਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਸਭਹੀਤੁਮਡੇਰਨਕਾਲ੍ਰਹਵਹੈਬਰੁਕੋਤੁਮਪੈਹੈ॥੨੮੮॥
(ਦੇਵੀ ਨੇ) ਕਿਹਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੁਣ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਓ, ਕਲ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸੇ ਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਵੋਗੀਆਂ ॥੨੮੮॥
You may all go to your homes and Krishna will wed all of you.”288.
ਕਬਿਯੋਬਾਚਦੋਹਰਾ॥
ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਦੋਹਰਾ:

ਹ੍ਵੈਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ੍ਯਸਭਬ੍ਰਿਜਬਧੂਤਿਹਕੋਸੀਸਨਿਵਾਇ॥
(ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ) ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ
ਪਰਿਪਾਇਨਕਰਿਬੇਨਤੀਚਲੀਗ੍ਰਿਹਨਕੌਧਾਇ॥੨੮੯॥
ਅਤੇ ਚਰਨੀ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ॥੨੮੯॥
All the young women of Braja, getting pleased and bowing their heads and touching the feet of the goddess, went to their own homes.289.
ਸਵੈਯਾ॥

ਆਪਸਮੈਕਰਜੋਰਿਸਭੈਗੁਪੀਆਚਲਿਧਾਮਗਈਹਰਖਾਨੀ॥
ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ
All the gopis, catching the hands of one another, went to their homes, with happiness in their minds
ਰੀਝਦਯੋਹਮਕੋਦੁਰਗਾਬਰੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਚਲੀਕਹਤੀਇਹਬਾਨੀ॥
ਅਤੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਕਿ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪੀ ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
They were all saying this, that Durga, having been pleased, has bestowed on all of us Krishna as our bridegroom
ਆਨੰਦਮਤਭਰੀਮਦਸੋਸਭਸੁੰਦਰਧਾਮਨਕੋਨਿਜਕਾਨੀ॥
ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਮਸਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਘਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
And filled with this delilght, all those beautiful ladies reached their homes,
ਦਾਨਦਯੋਦਿਜਹੂੰਬਹੁਤਿਯੋਮਨਇਛਤਹੈਹਰਿਹੋਹਮਜਾਨੀ॥੨੯੦॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਇਛਿਤ ਮਿਤਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੯੦॥
They gave abundance of charity to Brahmins, because they had obtained their Krishna, as desired by their heart.290.
