ਏਕਬਚੀਨਗਊਪੁਰਕੀਮਰਗੀਦੁਧਰੀਬਛਰੇਅਰੁਬਾਝਾ॥
ਨਗਰ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਗਊ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚੀ, ਦੁੱਧ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਛਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਅਤੇ ਫੰਡਰਾਂ ਸਭ ਮਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
“The milching cows, calves and even the barren cows have not survived, all have died,,
ਅਗ੍ਰਜਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੇਰੋਵਤਇਉਜਿਮਹੀਰਬਿਨਾਪਿਖਏਪਤਿਰਾਝਾ॥੩੫੬॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਉਂ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਉਂ ਹੀਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀ ਰਾਂਝੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੫੬॥
,,” They all began to weep before Krishna like the lover Ranjha without his beloved Heer.356.

ਕਾਲੀਨਾਥਕੇਸੀਰਿਪੁਕਉਲਨੈਨਕਉਲਨਾਭਿਕਮਲਾਕੇਪਤਿਇਹਬਿਨਤੀਸੁਨੀਜੀਯੈ॥
ਹੇ ਕਾਲੀ (ਨਾਗ) ਨੂੰ ਨੱਥਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕੇਸੀ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ! ਹੇ ਕਮਲ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕਮਲ-ਨਾਭ! ਹੇ ਕਮਲਾ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ! (ਸਾਡੀ) ਇਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ।
O enemy of the serpent Kali and the demon Keshi! O Lotus-eyed! Lotus-nucleus! And husband of Lakshmi! Listen to our request,,
ਕਾਮਰੂਪਕੰਸਕੇਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੀਕਾਜਕਾਰੀਪ੍ਰਭਕਾਮਿਨੀਕੇਕਾਮਕੇਨਿਵਾਰੀਕਾਮਕੀਜੀਯੈ॥
ਹੇ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਕਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਹਬਲ ਹੋਈ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਵਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਸਾਡਾ ਇਹ) ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ।
You are beautiful like the god of love, the destroyer of Kansa, the Lord doing all deeds and satisfier of all the wishes,kindly do our work also,
ਕਉਲਾਸਨਪਤਿਕੁੰਭਕਾਨਕੇਮਰਈਯਾਕਾਲਨੇਮਿਕੇਬਧਈਯਾਐਸੀਕੀਜੈਜਾਤੇਜੀਜੀਯੈ॥
ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਹੇ ਕੁੰਭਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਕਾਲ-ਨੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! (ਕੋਈ) ਅਜਿਹੀ (ਜੁਗਤ) ਕਰੋ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਅਸੀਂ) ਜੀ ਸਕੀਏ।
“You are the husband of Lakshmi, the killer of Kumbhasura and destroyer of the demon named Kalnemi
ਕਾਰਮਾਹਰਨਕਾਜਸਾਧਨਕਰਤਤੁਮਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਿਧਿਦਾਸਨਅਰਜਸੁਨਿਲੀਜੀਯੈ॥੩੫੭॥
ਹੇ ਕਲੰਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੁਸੀਂ (ਸਾਰਿਆਂ) ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਕ ਹੋ। (ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ-ਨਿਧਾਨ (ਅਸਾਂ) ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ ॥੩੫੭॥
Do such a work for us, so that we may survive, O Lord! you are the terminator of desired and accomplisher of all works, kindly listen to our request.”357.

ਬੂੰਦਨਤੀਰਨਸੀਸਭਹੀਕੁਪਕੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੇਪੁਰਪੈਜਬਪਈਯਾ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ (ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਨਗਰ ਉਪਰ ਪਈਆਂ,
ਸੋਊਸਹੀਨਗਈਕਿਹਪੈਸਭਧਾਮਨਬੇਧਿਧਰਾਲਗਿਗਈਯਾ॥
ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਹੀਆਂ ਨਾ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਸ ਗਈਆਂ,
The drops of rain fell on the earth of Braja in fury like the arrows, which could not be endured by anyone, because they were reaching the earth, piercing through the houses
ਸੋਪਿਖਿਗੋਪਨਨੈਨਨਸੋਬਿਨਤੀਹਰਿਕੇਅਗੂਆਪਹੁਚਈਯਾ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਬੂੰਦਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਸ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ
ਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋਹਮਪੈਮਘਵਾਹਮਰੀਤੁਮਰਛਕਰੋਉਠਿਸਈਯਾ॥੩੫੮॥
ਕਿ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ ॥੩੫੮॥
Gopas saw this with their own eyes and conveyed this news to Krishna, “O Krishna! Indra has got angry with us, kindly protect us.”358.
ਦੀਸਤਹੈਨਕਹੂੰਅਰਣੋਦਿਤਘੇਰਿਦਸੋਦਿਸਤੇਘਨਆਵੈ॥
ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਸੂਰਜ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਜ਼ਰੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ, ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਦਲ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The clouds are coming, being surrounded from all the ten directions and the sun is not visible anywhere
ਕੋਪਭਰੇਜਨੁਕੇਹਰਿਗਾਜਤਦਾਮਿਨਿਦਾਤਨਿਕਾਸਿਡਰਾਵੈ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਨੋ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਗਜਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਰੂਪ ਦੰਦ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ।
The clouds are thundering like lion and lighting is frightening by showing its teeth
ਗੋਪਨਜਾਇਕਰੀਬਿਨਤੀਹਰਿਪੈਸੁਨੀਯੈਹਰਿਜੋਤੁਮਭਾਵੈ॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਸਾਡੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ) ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ (ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਓਹੀ ਕਰਿਓ) ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲਗੇ।
Gopas went to Krishna and requested, “O Krishna, whatever pleaseyou, you may do the same because the lion must confront the lion and
ਸਿੰਘਕੇਦੇਖਤਸਿੰਘਨਸ੍ਰਯਾਰਕਹੈਕੁਪਕੈਜਮਲੋਕਪਠਾਵੈ॥੩੫੯॥
(ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼ੇਰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਦੜ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਕਹੇ ਕਿ (ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਯਮਲੋਕ ਭੇਜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ॥੩੫੯॥
In great anger should not cause the jackals to reach the abode of Yama.359.
ਕੋਪਭਰੇਹਮਰੇਪੁਰਮੈਬਹੁਮੇਘਨਕੇਇਹਠਾਟਠਟੇ॥
(ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਨਗਰ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
“In great fury, the clusters of clouds have come down on our city
ਜਿਹਕੋਗਜਬਾਹਨਲੋਕਕਹੈਜਿਨਿਪਬਨਕੇਪਰਕੋਪਕਟੇ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਦੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਥੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।
They have all been sent by that Indra, who rides upon the elephant named Airavata and who has chopped the wings of the mountains,
ਤੁਮਹੋਕਰਤਾਸਭਹੀਜਗਕੇਤੁਮਹੀਸਿਰਰਾਵਨਕਾਟਿਸਟੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ!) ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ (ਰਾਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਰਾਵਣ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਟੇ ਸਨ,
“But you are the Creator of all the world and you had cut the heads of Ravana
ਤੁਮਸਿਯੋਫੁਨਿਦੇਖਿਤਗੋਪਨਕੋਘਨਘੋਰਿਡਰਾਵਤਕੋਪਲਟੇ॥੩੬੦॥
ਫਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਰਗੇ (ਸਰਬ ਸਮਰਥ ਦੇ) ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲੇ ਬਦਲ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੬੦॥
The fires of ire are frightening all, but who is more well-wisher than you for gopas?360.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਡੋਸੁਨਿਲੋਕਤੁਮੈਫੁਨਿਜਾਮਸੁਜਾਪਕਰੈਤੁਹਆਠੋ॥
ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਵੱਡੇ ਹੋ। ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਿਰ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਹੀ ਜਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
“O Krishna! You are the seniormost and the people repeat your Name all the time
ਨੀਰਹੁਤਾਸਨਭੂਮਿਧਰਾਧਰਥਾਪਿਕਰਿਯੋਤੁਮਹੀਪ੍ਰਭਕਾਠੋ॥
ਜਲ, ਅਗਨੀ, ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਬਨਸਪਤੀ (ਸਿਰਜੀ ਹੈ)।
You have installed the sovereigns, fire, earth, mountain and trees etc.,
ਬੇਦਦਏਕਰਕੈਤੁਮਹੀਜਗਮੈਛਿਨਤਾਤਭਯੋਜਬਘਾਠੋ॥
ਹੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ! ਜਦੋਂ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਘਾਟਾ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, ਤਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਵੇਦ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ।
“Whenever there had been destruction of knowledge in the world, it were you, who gave the knowledge of the Vedas to the people
ਸਿੰਧੁਮਥਿਯੋਤੁਮਹੀਤ੍ਰੀਯਹ੍ਵੈਕਰਿਦੀਨਸੁਰਾਸੁਰਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਬਾਟੋ॥੩੬੧॥
ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਿੜਕਣ ਵੇਲੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਮੋਹਿਨੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ॥੩੬੧॥
You churned the ocean and assuming the form of Mohini, you distributed ambrosia amongst the gods and demons.”361.
ਗੋਪਨਫੇਰਿਕਹੀਮੁਖਤੇਬਿਨੁਤੈਹਮਰੋਕੋਊਅਉਰਨਆਡਾ॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਕਹੀ ਕਿ (ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ!) ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਡਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Gopas said again, “O Krishna! there is no support for us except you
ਮੇਘਨਮਾਰਿਬਿਥਾਰਡਰੋਕੁਪਿਬਾਲਕਮੂਰਤਿਜਿਉਤੁਮਗਾਡਾ॥
(ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਖਿੰਡਾ ਸੁਟੋ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਾਲਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗਡਾਸੁਰ ਨੂੰ (ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ)।
We are frightened by the destruction of the clouds like the child fearing a dreadful portrait
ਮੇਘਨਕੋਪਿਖਿਰੂਪਭਯਾਨਕਬਹੁਤੁਡਰੈਫੁਨਿਜੀਉਅਸਾਡਾ॥
ਮੇਘਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਾਡਾ ਜੀਉ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
“Our heart is getting very fearful on seeing the horrible form of the clouds
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਅਬੈਪੁਸਤੀਨਹ੍ਵੈਆਪਉਤਾਰਡਰੋਸਭਗੋਪਨਜਾਡਾ॥੩੬੨॥
ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ! ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਪੋਸਤੀਨ (ਖਲ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਕੋਟ) ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਗਵਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਰੂਪੀ ਪਾਲਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ॥੩੬੨॥
O Krishna! get ready to remove the suffering of the gopas.”362.
ਆਇਸੁਪਾਇਪੁਰੰਦਰਕੋਘਨਘੋਰਘਟਾਚਹੂੰਓਰਤੇਆਵੈ॥
ਇੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਘਟਾ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਘਿਰੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਕੈਕਰਕ੍ਰੁਧਕਿਧੋਮਨਮਧਿਬ੍ਰਿਜਊਪਰਆਨਕੈਬਹੁਬਲਪਾਵੈ॥
ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਉਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Under the orders of Indra, the dark clouds are surrounding from all the four directions and coming over Braja and being enraged in mind are powerfully exhibiting their force
ਅਉਅਤਿਹੀਚਪਲਾਚਮਕੈਬਹੁਬੂੰਦਨਤੀਰਨਸੀਬਰਖਾਵੈ॥
ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਰੂਪੀ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The lighting is flashing and the drops of water are raining like arrows
ਗੋਪਕਹੈਹਮਤੇਭਈਚੂਕਸੁਯਾਤੇਹਮੈਗਰਜੈਔਡਰਾਵੈ॥੩੬੩॥
ਗਵਾਲੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਭੁਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਇਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਗੱਜ ਕੇ ਡਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੬੩॥
The gopas said, “We have erred in not worshipping Indra, therefore the clouds are thundering.”363.
ਆਜਭਯੋਉਤਪਾਤਬਡੋਡਰੁਸਮਾਨਿਸਭੈਹਰਿਪਾਸਪੁਕਾਰੇ॥
ਅਜ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, (ਜਿਸ ਦਾ) ਡਰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਸ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
A great crime has been committed today, therefore all, having been frightened and crying for Krishna, said,
ਕੋਪਕਰਿਯੋਹਮਪੈਮਘਵਾਤਿਹਤੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਪੈਬਰਖੇਘਨਭਾਰੇ॥
ਸਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਉਤੇ ਬਦਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਰਖਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
“Indra has become angry with us, therefore it is raining cats and dogs over Braja
ਭਛਿਭਖਿਯੋਇਹਕੋਤੁਮਹੂਤਿਹਤੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੇਜਨਕੋਪਿਸੰਘਾਰੇ॥
(ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ!) ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
“You have eaten the material brought over Indra’s worship, therefore, in great rage, he is destroying the people Braja
ਰਛਕਹੋਸਭਹੀਜਗਕੇਤੁਮਰਛਕਰੋਹਮਰੀਰਖਵਾਰੇ॥੩੬੪॥
ਹੇ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਰਖਿਅਕ ਹੋ, ਸਾਡੀ ਵੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰੋ ॥੩੬੪॥
O Lord! You are the protector of all, therefore protect us also.364.
ਹੋਇਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਅਬੈਭਗਵਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿਕੈਇਨਕੋਤੁਮਕਾਢੋ॥
ਹੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ! ਹੁਣ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੂ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਬਦਲਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ (ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਬਾਹਰ ਕਢ ਦਿਓ।
“O Lord! kindly save us from these clouds
ਕੋਪਕਰਿਯੋਹਮਪੈਮਘਵਾਦਿਨਸਾਤਇਹਾਬਰਖਿਯੋਘਨਗਾਢੋ॥
ਸਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਥੇ ਸੱਤ ਦਿਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Indra has become angry with us and for the last seven day, there had been heavy raining here
ਭ੍ਰਾਤਬਲੀਇਨਿਰਛਨਕੋਤਬਹੀਕਰਿਕੋਪਭਯੋਉਠਿਠਾਢੋ॥
ਬਲਰਾਮ ਭਰਾਤਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ) ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਤ ਉਠ ਖੜੋਤਾ।
ਜੀਵਗਯੋਘਟਮੇਘਨਕੋਸਭਗੋਪਨਕੇਮਨਆਨੰਦਬਾਢੋ॥੩੬੫॥
(ਫਲਸਰੂਪ) ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਉ ਘਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ॥੩੬੫॥
Then getting infuriated, Balram got up for their protection and seeing him arising, on one side, the clouds became fearful and on the other side, there was increase of joy in the mind of gopas.365.
ਗੋਪਨਕੀਸੁਨਕੈਬਿਨਤੀਹਰਿਗੋਪਸਭੈਅਪਨੇਕਰਿਜਾਣੇ॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ।
Hearing the request of the gopas, Krishna called all the gopas with the signs of his hand
ਮੇਘਨਕੇਬਧਬੇਕਹੁਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਚਲਿਯੋਉਠਿਕੈਕਰਤਾਜੋਊਤਾਣੇ॥
ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਚਲ ਪਿਆ।
The powerful Krishna moved for killing the clouds
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੇਜਸਉਚਮਹਾਕਬਿਨੇਅਪਨੇਮਨਮੈਪਹਿਚਾਣੇ॥
ਉਸ ਛਬੀ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਿਆ
ਇਉਚਲਗਯੋਜਿਮਸਿੰਘਮ੍ਰਿਗੀਪਿਖਿਆਇਹੈਜਾਨਕਿਧੋਮੂਹਿਡਾਣੇ॥੩੬੬॥
ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਿਰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਅਡ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੩੬੬॥
The poet considering this spectacle in his mind, says, “Krishna moved like a roaring lion, seeing the deer, with his mouth wide open.”366.
ਮੇਘਨਕੇਬਧਕਾਜਚਲਿਯੋਭਗਵਾਨਕਿਧੋਰਸਭੀਤਰਰਤਾ॥
ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬੀਰ ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ (ਉਹ) ਭਗਵਾਨ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਚਲ ਪਿਆ,
With great ire, Krishna moved to destroy the clouds
ਰਾਮਭਯੋਜੁਗਤੀਸਰਮਧਿਮਰਿਯੋਤਿਨਰਾਵਨਕੈਰਨਅਤਾ॥
(ਜੋ) ਤ੍ਰੇਤਾ ਯੁਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਮ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤਕੜਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ,
He had destroyed Ravana in Treta age as Ram
ਅਉਧਕੇਬੀਚਬਧੂਬਰਬੇਕਹੁਕੋਪਕੈਬੈਲਨਥੇਜਿਹਸਤਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਦੁਆਪੁਰ ਯੁਗ ਵਿਚ) ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹੁਣ ਲਈ ਅਯੋਧਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਬਲਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਵਾਰ ਨੱਥ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ,
He had powerfully ruled Oudh alongwith Sita
ਗੋਪਨਗੋਧਨਰਛਨਕਾਜਤੁਰਿਯੋਤਿਹਕੋਗਜਜਿਉਮਦਮਤਾ॥੩੬੭॥
(ਉਹੀ ਭਗਵਾਨ) ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਊਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ) ਲਈ ਮਦ-ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੩੬੭॥
The same Krishna moved today for the protection of gopas and cows like an intoxicated elephant.367.
