ਕਰਬੇਕਹੁਰਛਸੁਗੋਪਨਕੀਬਰਪੂਟਲਯੋਨਗਕੋਪਹਿਹਥਾ॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਟ ਕੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਤੇ ਚੁਕ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
For the protection of gopas, Krishna, greatly infuriated, uprooted the mountain and placed it on his hand
ਤਨਕੋਨਕਰਿਯੋਬਲਰੰਚਕਤਾਹਕਰਿਯੋਜੁਹੁਤੋਕਰਬੀਚਜਥਾ॥
ਉਸ (ਪਰਬਤ) ਨੂੰ ਚੁਕਣ ਲਈ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਰਤਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾਇਆ, (ਇਉਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ) ਹੱਥ ਉਤੇ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
While doing this, he did not use even an iota of his power
ਨਚਲੀਤਿਨਕੀਕਿਛੁਗੋਪਨਪੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਗਜਜਾਹਿਰਥਾ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਨਾ ਚਲੀ।
No force of Indra could work on gopas and he, in embarrassment and with down-cast face,
ਮੁਖਿਨ੍ਯਾਇਖਿਸਾਇਚਲਿਯੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਪੈਇਹਬੀਚਚਲੀਜਗਕੇਸੁਕਥਾ॥੩੬੮॥
(ਆਖਿਰ) ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਮੁਖ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਥਾ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੩੬੮॥
He went towards his home, the story of the glory of Krishna became prevalent in the whole world.368.
ਨੰਦਕੋਨੰਦਬਡੋਸੁਖਕੰਦਰਿਪੁਆਰਸੁਰੰਦਸਬੁਧਿਬਿਸਾਰਦ॥
ਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਰਦ ਹੈ।
Krishna, the son of Nand, is the giver of comfort to all, enemy of Indra, and master of true intellect
ਆਨਨਚੰਦਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਹੁਮੰਦਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਜਪੈਜਿਹਨਾਰਦ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁਖ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਛ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਰਦ ਵੀ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ।
The face of the Lord, who is perfect in all arts, ever gives its mild light like the moon the poet Shyam says that the sage Narada also remembers him,
ਤਾਗਿਰਿਕੋਪਉਠਾਇਲਯੋਜੋਊਸਾਧਨਕੋਹਰਤਾਦੁਖਦਾਰਦ॥
ਜੋ ਸਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
The same Krishna, being highly infuriated, carried the mountain and there was no effect of the clouds on the people below and
ਮੇਘਪਰੇਉਪਰਿਯੋਨਕਛੂਪਛਤਾਇਗਏਗ੍ਰਿਹਕੋਉਠਿਬਾਰਦ॥੩੬੯॥
ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰ੍ਹਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਬਣਿਆ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਪਛਤਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ॥੩੬੯॥
In this way, repenting, the clouds returned to their homes.369.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਉਪਾਰਿਲਯੋਕਰਮੋਗਿਰਿਏਕਪਰੀਨਹੀਬੂੰਦਸੁਪਾਨੀ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਟ ਕੇ ਹੱਥ ਉਤੇ ਚੁਕ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਪਈ।
Krishna uprooted the mountain and placed it on his hand and not even one drop of water fell on the earth
ਫੇਰਿਕਹੀਹਸਿਕੈਮੁਖਤੇਹਰਿਕੋਮਘਵਾਜੁਭਯੋਮੁਹਿਸਾਨੀ॥
ਫਿਰ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੰਦਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕੀ ਹੈ।
Then Krishna said smilingly, “Who is this Indra who will confront me?
ਮਾਰਿਡਰਿਯੋਮੁਰਮੈਮਧੁਕੀਟਭਮਾਰਿਯੋਹਮੈਮਘਵਾਪਤਿਮਾਨੀ॥
ਮੈਂ ਮਧੁ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਟਭ (ਦੈਂਤਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ਇੰਦਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
“I had killed Madhu and Kaitabh also and this Indra had come to kill me
ਗੋਪਨਮੈਭਗਵਾਨਕਹੀਸੋਊਫੈਲਪਰੀਜਗਬੀਚਕਹਾਨੀ॥੩੭੦॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ (ਜੋ ਗੱਲ) ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਹੀ ਸੀ, ਓਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੩੭੦॥
In this way, whatever words were uttered by the Lord (Krishna) amongst gopas, they spread throughout the world like a story.370.
ਗੋਪਨਕੀਕਰਬੇਕਹੁਰਛਸਤਕ੍ਰਿਤਪੈਹਰਿਜੀਜਬਕੋਪੇ॥
ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਇੰਦਰ ਉਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ
ਇਉਗਿਰਿਕੇਤਰਿਭਯੋਉਠਿਠਾਢਿਮਨੋਰੁਪਕੈਪਗਕੇਹਰਿਰੋਪੇ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਰਬਤ ਹੇਠਾਂ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਖੜੋਤੇ ਸੀ, ਮਾਨੋ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੇ ਪੈਂਤੜਾ ਜਮਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
When Krishna became angry on Indra for the protection of gopas, then he fell down and got up like the one whose foot slips away
ਜਿਉਜੁਗਅੰਤਮੈਅੰਤਕਹ੍ਵੈਕਰਿਜੀਵਨਕੇਸਭਕੇਉਰਿਘੋਪੇ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਤੇ ਯਮਰਾਜ (ਕਾਲ ਰੂਪ) ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ (ਵਿਚ ਖੰਜਰ) ਘੋਪ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
At the end of the age, all the world of beings terminated and then a new world arises gradually
ਜਿਉਜਨਕੋਮਨਹੋਤਹੈਲੋਪਤਿਸੀਬਿਧਿਮੇਘਭਏਸਭਲੋਪੇ॥੩੭੧॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਪਰਲੋ ਵੇਲੇ) ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ (ਪ੍ਰਾਣ) ਲੁਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਦਲ ਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੩੭੧॥
Just as the mind of an ordinary man sometimes falls down and sometimes rises very high, in the same manner, all the clouds disappeared.371.
ਹੋਇਸਤਕ੍ਰਿਤਊਪਰਕੋਪਸੁਰਾਖਲਈਸਭਗੋਪਦਫਾ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੇ) ਇੰਦਰ ਉਤੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
Lowering the prestige of Indra, Krishna saved the gopas and the animals from destruction
ਤਿਨਿਮੇਘਬਿਦਾਰਦਏਛਿਨਮੈਜਿਨਿਦੈਤਕਰੇਸਭਏਕਗਫਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਗ੍ਰਾਹੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਛਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Just as a demon devours a being at one time only, in the same manner, all the clouds were destroyed in an instant
ਕਰਿਕਉਤੁਕਪੈਰਿਪੁਟਾਰਦਏਬਿਨੁਹੀਧਰਏਸਰਸ੍ਯਾਮਜਫਾ॥
ਆਪਣਾ ਕੌਤਕ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਤੀਰ ਸਾਧੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਭਗੋਪਨਕੀਕਰਬੈਕਹੁਰਛਸੁਸਕ੍ਰਨਲੀਨਲਪੇਟਸਫਾ॥੩੭੨॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ (ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਸਫ਼ਾਂ (ਪੰਗਤੀਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਟ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੩੭੨॥
With his amorous play, Krishna routed all his enemies and all the people began to kill Krishna and in this way, Indra folded up his maya for the protection of gopas.372.
ਜੁਲਈਸਭਮੇਘਲਪੇਟਸਫਾਅਰੁਲੀਨੋਹੈਪਬਉਪਾਰਜਬੈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਉਖਾੜ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਫ਼ਾਂ ਸਮੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਤਦ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ
ਇਹਰੰਚਕਸੋਇਹਹੈਗਰੂਓਗਿਰਿਚਿੰਤਕਰੀਮਨਿਬੀਚਸਬੈ॥
ਕਿ ਇਹ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤਾਂ) ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰਾ ਹੈ।
When the clouds went away and Krishna uprooted the mountain, then removing his anxiety from his mind that mountain seemed very light to him
ਇਹਦੈਤਨਕੋਮਰਤਾਕਰਤਾਸੁਖਹੈਦਿਵਿਯਾਜੀਯਦਾਨਅਬੈ॥
ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਸੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ (ਸਾਨੂੰ) ਜੀਵਨ-ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ,
Krishna is the destroyer of the demons, giver of the comforts and the donor of the life-force
ਇਹਕੋਤੁਮਧ੍ਯਾਨਧਰੋਸਭਹੀਨਹਿਧ੍ਯਾਨਧਰੋਤੁਮਅਉਰਕਬੈ॥੩੭੩॥
ਇਸ ਦਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ ॥੩੭੩॥
All the people should meditate on him, forsaking all meditations on others.373.
ਸਭਮੇਘਗਏਘਟਕੇਜਬਹੀਤਬਹੀਹਰਖੇਫੁਨਿਗੋਪਸਭੈ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਦਲ ਛਟ ਗਏ ਤਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ।
ਇਹਭਾਤਿਲਗੇਕਹਨੇਮੁਖਤੇਭਗਵਾਨਦਯੋਹਮਦਾਨਅਭੈ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ ਕਿ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਭੈ-ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
When the clouds dwindled away, then all the gopas were pleased and said, “The Lord (Krishna) has given us fearlessness
ਮਘਵਾਜੁਕਰੀਕੁਪਿਦਉਰਹਮੂਪਰਸੋਤਿਹਕੋਨਹੀਬੇਰਲਭੈ॥
ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਹੁਣ ਕਿਤੇ ਲਭਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Indra had attacked us in his fury, but he is invisible now and
ਅਬਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਤੇਹੈਘਟਬਾਦਰਏਕਨਦੀਸਤਬੀਚਨਭੈ॥੩੭੪॥
ਹੁਣ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲ ਛਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਦਾ ॥੩੭੪॥
Through the glory of Krishna, there is not even one cloud in the sky.374.
ਗੋਪਕਹੈਸਭਹੀਮੁਖਤੇਇਹਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਲੀਬਰਹੈਬਲਮੈ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਲੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ ਕਿ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਬਲ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ।
All the gopas said, “Krishna is extremely powerful
ਜਿਨਿਕੂਦਿਕਿਲੇਸਤਮੋਰਮਰਿਯੋਜਿਨਿਜੁਧਸੰਖਾਸੁਰਸੋਜਲਮੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਦ ਕੇ ਸੱਤ ਕਿਲੇ (ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਸੁਟੇ) ਅਤੇ ਮੁਰ (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਖਸ਼) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੰਖਾਸੁਰ ਨਾਲ (ਮੱਛ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਜਲ ਵਿਚ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ।
He, who killed Mur by jumping in the fort and Shankhasura in water
ਇਹਹੈਕਰਤਾਸਭਹੀਜਗਕੋਅਰੁਫੈਲਰਹਿਯੋਜਲਅਉਥਲਮੈ॥
ਇਹ ਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਅਤੇ (ਇਹੋ) ਜਲ ਤੇ ਥਲ ਵਿਚ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਊਆਇਪ੍ਰਤਛਿਭਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਮੈਜੋਊਜੋਗਜੁਤੋਰਹੈਓਝਲਮੈ॥੩੭੫॥
ਓਹੀ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ (ਉਂਜ) ਯੋਗ ਸਾਧਨਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਸਦਾ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੭੫॥
He is the Creator of the whole world and pervades on the plains and in waters, He, who was felt imperceptible earlier, He has come now in Braja apparently.375.
ਮੋਰਮਰਿਯੋਜਿਨਿਕੂਦਕਿਲੈਸਤਸੰਧਿਜਰਾਜਿਹਸੈਨਮਰੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਦ ਕੇ ਸੱਤ ਕਿਲੇ (ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ) ਅਤੇ ਮੁਰ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜਰਾਸੰਧ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਨਰਾਕਸੁਰਜਾਹਿਕਰਿਯੋਰਕਸੀਬਿਰਥੀਗਜਕੀਜਿਹਰਛਕਰੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਰਕਾਸੁਰ (ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਰਖਿਆ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ (ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ) ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੁਖੀ ('ਬਿਰਥੀ') ਹਾਥੀ (ਗਜ) ਦੀ (ਗ੍ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ) ਰਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ।
He, who killed the demon Mur, by jumping in the fort, and who destroyed the army of Jarasandh, who destroyed Narakasura and who protected the elephant from octopus
ਜਿਹਰਾਖਿਲਈਪਤਿਪੈਦ੍ਰੁਪਤੀਸਿਲਜਾਲਗਤਿਉਪਗਪਾਰਿਪਰੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦ੍ਰੋਪਦੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਿ ਢਕ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸਿਲਾ ਬਣੀ ਅਹਲਿਆ ਦਾ ਪਾਰ ਉਤਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਅਤਿਕੋਪਤਮੇਘਨਅਉਮਘਵਾਇਹਰਾਖਲਈਨੰਦਲਾਲਿਧਰੀ॥੩੭੬॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋਏ ਇੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੭੬॥
He, who protected the honour of Daropati and with whose touch, Ahalya, who had been transformed into a stone, was saved, the same Krishna protected us from extremely enraged clouds and Indra.376.
ਮਘਵਾਜਿਹਫੇਰਿਦਈਪ੍ਰਤਨਾਜਿਹਦੈਤੁਮਰੇਇਹਕਾਨਬਲੀ॥
ਇਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਅਜਿਹਾ) ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਪਰਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟੇ ਹਨ।
He, who caused Indra to run away, who killed Putana and other demons, he is Krishna
ਜਿਹਕੋਜਨਨਾਮਜਪੈਮਨਮੈਜਿਹਕੋਫੁਨਿਭ੍ਰਾਤਹੈਬੀਰਹਲੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਤਕੜਾ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ।
He also is Krishna, whose name is remembered by all in the mind and whose brother is the brave Haldhar
ਜਿਹਤੇਸਭਗੋਪਨਕੀਬਿਪਤਾਹਰਿਕੇਕੁਪਤੇਛਿਨਮਾਹਿਟਲੀ॥
ਜਿਸ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੀ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਛਿਣ ਵਿਚ ਟਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
Because of the Krishna, the trouble of gopas was finished in an instant and this is the praise of the same Lord,
ਤਿਹਕੋਲਖਕੈਉਪਮਾਭਗਵਾਨਕਰੈਜਿਹਕੀਸੁਤਕਉਲਕਲੀ॥੩੭੭॥
ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ (ਕਾਨ੍ਹ) ਨੂੰ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩੭੭॥
Who transforms ordinary buds into bit lotus-flowers and raises very high an ordinary man.377.
ਕਾਨਉਪਾਰਲਯੋਗਰੂਓਗਿਰਿਧਾਮਿਖਿਸਾਇਗਯੋਮਘਵਾ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਕ ਲਿਆ (ਤਦੋਂ) ਇੰਦਰ (ਲਜਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ) ਘਰ ਵਲ ਖਿਸਕ ਗਿਆ।
On this side, Krishna carried the Goverdhan mountain, on the other side Indra,
ਸੋਉਪਜਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੂਮਿਬਿਖੈਜੋਊਤੀਸਰਜੁਗਭਯੋਰਘੁਵਾ॥
ਓਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ) ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰੇਤਾ ਯੁਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਘੁਵੀਰ (ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ) ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
Feeling ashamed in his mind, said that He, who was Ram in Treta age, has now incarnated in Braja
ਅਬਕਉਤੁਕਿਲੋਕਦਿਖਾਵਨਕੋਜਗਮੈਫੁਨਿਰੂਪਧਰਿਯੋਲਘੁਵਾ॥
ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਤਕ ਵਿਖਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰ ਇਕ ਨਿੱਕਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
And in order to show to the world his amorous play, he has assumed the short-statured form of man
ਥਨਐਚਹਨੀਛਿਨਮੈਪੁਤਨਾਹਰਿਨਾਮਕੇਲੇਤਹਰੇਅਘਵਾ॥੩੭੮॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਥਣ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਪੂਤਨਾ ਨੂੰ (ਇਉਂ) ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ (ਜਿਉਂ) ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਜਪਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਪ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੭੮॥
He killed Putana in an instant by pulling her teat and also destroyed the demon Aghasura in an instant.378.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਬਲੀਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਮੈਜਿਨਿਗੋਪਨਕੇਦੁਖਕਾਟਿਸਟੇ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁਖ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
The mighty Krishna was born in Braja, who removed all the sufferings of gopas
ਸੁਖਸਾਧਨਕੇਪ੍ਰਗਟੇਤਬਹੀਦੁਖਦੈਤਨਕੇਸੁਨਿਨਾਮੁਘਟੇ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ (ਪ੍ਰਗਟ) ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੁਖ (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਘਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
On his manifestation, the comforts of the saints increased and the sufferings being created by the demons were lessened
ਇਹਹੈਕਰਤਾਸਭਹੀਜਗਕੋਬਲਿਕੋਅਰੁਇੰਦ੍ਰਹਿਲੋਕਬਟੇ॥
ਇਹੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਇਸੇ ਨੇ) ਬਲਿ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ (ਪਾਤਾਲ ਦਾ) ਅਤੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ (ਸੁਅਰਗ ਦਾ) ਲੋਕ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
He is the Creator of the whole world and is the dispeller of the pride of Bali and Indra
ਤਿਹਨਾਮਕੇਲੇਤਕਿਧੋਮੁਖਤੇਲਟਜਾਤਸਭੈਤਨਦੋਖਲਟੇ॥੩੭੯॥
ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੁਖ ਝੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩੭੯॥
By repeating His Name, the clusters of the sufferings are destroyed.379.
