ਹਿਤਸੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੂਮਿਬਿਖੈਸਭਹੀਰਸਖੇਲਕਰੈਕਰਡਾਰਗਰੈ॥
ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਗਲ-ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਕਰੀਏ।
ਤੁਮਕੋਜੋਊਸੋਕਬਢਿਯੋਬਿਛੁਰੇਹਮਸੋਮਿਲਿਕੈਅਬਸੋਕਹਰੈ॥੫੧੩॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਛੋੜੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਵਧਿਆ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਈਏ ॥੫੧੩॥
They are all playing with their hands on the necks of one another and Krishna is saying, “The sorrow that you experienced in my absence, come, let us now remove that grief, holding ourselves in unison.513.
ਐਹੋਤ੍ਰੀਯਾਕਹਿਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਸਭੈਤੁਮਰਾਸਕੋਖੇਲਕਰੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਕੁੜੀਓ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਾਸ ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਕਰੋ।
ਗਹਿਕੈਕਰਸੋਕਰੁਮੰਡਲਕੈਨਕਛੂਮਨਭੀਤਰਲਾਜਧਰੋ॥
(ਇਕ ਦੂਜੀ ਦੇ) ਹੱਥ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਗੋਲ ਘੇਰਾ (ਮੰਡਲ) ਬਣਾ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨਾਹ ਰਖੋ।
The woman said, “O hero of the Yadvas! When you are absorbed in an amorous play, then you do not feel even an iota of shyness in holding the hand of others in your hand in this assemblage
ਹਮਹੂੰਤੁਮਰੇਸੰਗਰਾਸਕਰੈਨਚਿਹੈਨਚਿਯੋਨਹਨੈਕੁਡਰੋ॥
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ (ਦੀ ਖੇਡ) ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਨਚਾਂਗਾ, (ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ) ਨਚਿਓ, (ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਾ ਡਰੋ।
We also play and dance with you fearlessly
ਸਭਹੀਮਨਬੀਚਅਸੋਕਕਰੋਅਤਿਹੀਮਨਸੋਕਨਕੋਸੁਹਰੋ॥੫੧੪॥
ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਮਨਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸੋਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ॥੫੧੪॥
Kindly remove our anguish and make our minds griefless.”514.
ਤਿਨਸੋਭਗਵਾਨਕਹੀਫਿਰਯੋਸਜਨੀਹਮਰੀਬਿਨਤੀਸੁਨਿਲੀਜੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਸਜਣੀਓਂ! ਮੇਰੀ (ਇਕ) ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ।
ਆਨੰਦਬੀਚਕਰੋਮਨਕੇਜਿਹਤੇਹਮਰੇਤਨਕੋਮਨਜੀਜੈ॥
(ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦ (ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ) ਕਰੋ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਨ ਜੀ ਪਵੇ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ)।
Then Lord Krishna said to those women, “O dear ones! Listen to my request and be of good cheer in your mind, so that you may remain attached with my body
ਮਿਤਵਾਜਿਹਤੇਹਿਤਮਾਨਤਹੈਤਬਹੀਉਠਕੈਸੋਊਕਾਰਜਕੀਜੈ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਕੰਮ) ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਤਰ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹਿਤ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
“O friends! you may do the same whatever pleases you mind and is in your welfare
ਦੈਰਸਕੋਸਿਰਪਾਵਤਿਸੈਮਨਕੋਸਭਸੋਕਬਿਦਾਕਰਿਦੀਜੈ॥੫੧੫॥
(ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਦਾ ਸਿਰੋਪਾਓ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੋਗ ਵਿਦਾ ਕਰ ਦੇਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੧੫॥
Remove all your sorrows by submerging yourselves in amorous enjoyment from head to feet.”515.
ਹਸਿਕੈਭਗਵਾਨਕਹੀਫਿਰਿਯੌਰਸਕੀਬਤੀਯਾਹਮਤੇਸੁਨਲਈਯੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਵੋ।
ਜਾਕੈਲੀਏਮਿਤਵਾਹਿਤਮਾਨਤਸੋਸੁਨਕੈਉਠਿਕਾਰਜਕਈਯੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮਿਤਰ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਹਿਤ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹ (ਗੱਲ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Lord Krishna said again smilingly, “Listen to my talk about pleasure and O friends! do whatever you liks
ਗੋਪਿਨਸਾਥਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿਕੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹਿਯੋਮੁਸਲੀਧਰਭਈਯੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ('ਮੁਸਲੀਧਰ ਭਈਆ') ਨੇ (ਇਹ ਗੱਲ) ਕੀਤੀ।
ਜਾਸੰਗਹੇਤਮਹਾਕਰੀਯੈਬਿਨੁਦਾਮਨਤਾਹੀਕੇਹਾਥਿਬਿਕਈਯੈ॥੫੧੬॥
ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਬਿਨਾ ਪੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਕ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੫੧੬॥
Krishna said again to gopis and also his brother Balram, “With whomsoever one may fall in love, he surrenders totally to him without any selfish motive.”516.
ਕਾਨਰਕੀਸੁਨਕੈਬਤੀਆਮਨਮੈਤਿਨਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਧੀਰਗਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧੀਰਜ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।
ਦੋਖਜਿਤੋਮਨਭੀਤਰਥੋਰਸਪਾਵਕਮੋਤ੍ਰਿਣਤੁਲਿਦਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਗ ਸਨ, (ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਦੀ ਅਗਨੀ ਵਿਚ ਕੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Hearing the words of Krishna, the gopis felt courageous and in their mind, the straws of sufferings were burnt and destroyed by fire of amorous pleasure
ਰਾਸਕਰਿਯੋਸਭਹੀਮਿਲਿਕੈਜਸੁਧਾਸੁਤਕੋਤਿਨਮਾਨਿਕਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਜਸੋਧਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਦਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਰਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਰੀਝਰਹੀਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੀਗਨਅਉਨਭਮੰਡਲਰੀਝਰਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥੫੧੭॥
(ਉਸ ਰਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਿਥਵੀ (ਉਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਮੰਡਲ (ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੧੭॥
Yashoda also said to all, “Get together for amorous play and seeing this the dwellers of the earth and the heavenly sphere are getting pleased.517.
ਗਾਵਤਏਕਬਜਾਵਤਤਾਲਸਭੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਰਿਮਹਾਹਿਤਸੋ॥
ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾੜੀਆਂ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਭਗਵਾਨਕੋਮਾਨਿਕਹਿਯੋਤਬਹੀਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਅਤਿਹੀਚਿਤਸੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਦਿਲੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ।
All the women of Braja are singing and playing on instruments and in their mind they are proud of Krishna
ਇਨਸੀਖਲਈਗਤਿਗਾਮਨਤੇਸੁਰਭਾਮਨਤੇਕਿਕਿਧੋਕਿਤਸੋ॥
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਸਹੀ ਤੋਰ) ਤੋਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਚਲਣ ਸਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਸਿਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਹੋਰੋਂ (ਸਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ)।
Looking at their gait, it seems that they have learnt it from the elephants and the wives of gods
ਅਬਮੋਹਿਇਹੈਸਮਝਿਯੋਸੁਪਰੈਜਿਹਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਸਿਖੇਇਨਹੂੰਤਿਤਸੋ॥੫੧੮॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਥੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ (ਇਹ) ਸਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉਥੋਂ ਹੀ (ਸਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ) ॥੫੧੮॥
The poet says, that it seems to his that they have learnt all this from Krishna.518.
ਮੋਰਕੋਪੰਖਬਿਰਾਜਤਸੀਸਸੁਰਾਜਤਕੁੰਡਲਕਾਨਨਦੋਊ॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਮੋਰ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ (ਦਾ ਮੁਕਟ) ਸ਼ੋਭਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕੁੰਡਲ ਸ਼ੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹਨ।
The peocock feather on his head and rings in the ears look splendid
ਲਾਲਕੀਮਾਲਸੁਛਾਜਤਕੰਠਹਿਤਾਉਪਮਾਸਮਹੈਨਹਿਕੋਊ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ (ਚੀਜ਼) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
There is a rosary of gems around his neck, which cannot be compared with anything
