ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ (ਕਵੀ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ (ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ) ਜੋਬਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ (ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਵਿਚ) ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੭॥
It seems that on seeing them, the moon is sacrificing the youth of his moonshine.547.

ਫਿਰ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। (ਹੇ ਰਾਧਾ!)
ਆਵਹੁਖੇਲਕਰੇਹਰਿਸੋਹਮਨਾਹਕਖੇਲਕਰੋਤੁਮਕਾਸੋ॥
ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ (ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ) ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਖੇਡੀਏ, ਤੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ।
Chandarbhaga said this to Radha, “With whom you are absorbed in amorous play fruitlessly! come, let us play with Krishna
ਤਾਕੀਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਉਪਜੀਹੈਜੋਊਅਪਨੇਮਨੂਆਸੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਜੋ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਜੋਤਿਤਰਈਯਨਕੀਛਪਗੀਦੁਤਿਰਾਧਿਕਾਚੰਦ੍ਰਕਲਾਸੋ॥੫੪੮॥
ਰਾਧਾ ਰੂਪ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਰੂਪ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਛੁਪ ਗਈ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੮॥
Describing the beauty of the spectacle, the poet has said that in the light of the supernatural power of Radha, the light of the earthen-lamp like gopis concealed itself.548.

ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਤਦ ਰਾਧਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਸੁਣੋ,
ਯਾਹੀਕੇਹੇਤਸੁਨੋਸਜਨੀਹਮਲੋਕਨਕੋਉਪਹਾਸਸਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਇਸੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਸਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਖ਼ੌਲ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਹਨ।
Hearing the words of chandarbhaga, Radha said to her, “O friend! for this objective, I have endured the ridicules of the people
ਸ੍ਰਉਨਨਮੈਸੁਨਿਰਾਸਕਥਾਤਬਹੀਮਨਮੈਹਮਧ੍ਯਾਨਗਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ ਦੀ) ਰਾਸ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣੀ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਇਸ ਦਾ) ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਅਖੀਆਪਿਖਕੈਹਮਰੇਮਨਕੋਤਨਮੋਹਿਰਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥੫੪੯॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਨ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੪੯॥
On listening about the amorous play, my attention is diverted to this side and seeing Krishna with my own eyes, my mind has been fascinated.549.
ਤਬਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਸਜਨੀਹਮਰੀਬਤੀਆਸੁਨਿਲੀਜੈ॥
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ (ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ) ਸੁਣ ਲੈ।
ਦੇਖਹੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਿਰਾਜਤਹੈਜਿਹਕੇਮੁਖਕੇਪਿਖਏਫੁਨਿਜੀਜੈ॥
ਵੇਖ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬਿਰਾਜਮਾਨ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
Then Chanderbjhaga said, “O friend! listen to me and see, Krishna is seated there and we all are alive on seeing him
ਜਾਕੇਕਰੇਮਿਤਹੋਇਖੁਸੀਸੁਨੀਐਉਠਕੈਸੋਊਕਾਜਕਰੀਜੈ॥
(ਹੋਰ) ਸੁਣ, ਜਿਸ (ਕਾਰਜ) ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਉਠ ਕੇ (ਜਲਦੀ) ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਤਾਹੀਤੇਰਾਧੇਕਹੋਤੁਮਸੋਅਬਚਾਰਭਈਤੁਬਿਚਾਰਨਕੀਜੈ॥੫੫੦॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਧਾ! ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਹੁਣ (ਅੱਖਾਂ) ਚਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ (ਫਿਰ) ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ॥੫੫੦॥
The work, bydoing which the friend is pleased, that work should be done, therefore, O Radha! I am saying to you that now when you have adopted this path, do not have other thoughts in your mind”.550.

ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ (ਰਾਧਾ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਪਰਸਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚਲੀ।
ਮਾਨਹੁਨਾਗਸੁਤਾਇਹਸੁੰਦਰਿਤਿਆਗਿਚਲੀਗ੍ਰਿਹਿਪਤ੍ਰਧਰੈਸੇ॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਇਹ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਨਾਗ-ਪੁੱਤਰੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਗਰੁੜ ('ਪਤ੍ਰ-ਧਰੈ') ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
Radha started on listening to the words of Chandarbhaga for the attainment of Krishna and she appeared like a Naga-damsel leaving her home
ਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਮੰਦਰਿਤੇਨਿਕਸੀਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਉਪਮਾਤਿਹਐਸੇ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਘਨੈਤਜਿਕੈਪ੍ਰਗਟੀਹੈਸੋਊਬਿਜਲੀਦੁਤਿਜੈਸੇ॥੫੫੧॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਲੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੫੫੧॥
Giving the simile of the gopis coming out of the temple, the poet has said that they look like the manifestation of the creepers of lightning, leaving the clouds.551.
ਰਾਸਹਿਕੀਰਚਨਾਭਗਵਾਨਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਚਿਤ੍ਰਕਰੀਹੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਰਾਸ-ਮੰਡਲ ਦੀ ਅਸਚਰਜ ਭਰੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
Lord Krishna has created the arena of amorous play in a wonderful way
ਰਾਜਤਹੈਤਰਏਜਮੁਨਾਅਤਿਹੀਤਹਚਾਦਨੀਚੰਦਕਰੀਹੈ॥
ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਮਨਾ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਤੋਂ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Down below, Yamuna is flowing with currents like moonshine
ਸੇਤਪਟੈਸੰਗਰਾਜਤਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਤਾਕੀਪ੍ਰਭਾਕਬਿਨੇਸੁਕਰੀਹੈ॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਰਾਸਬਗੀਚਨਮੈਇਹਫੂਲਨਕੀਫੁਲਵਾਰਿਜਰੀਹੈ॥੫੫੨॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਸ-ਮੰਡਲ ਰੂਪ ਬਗ਼ੀਚੇ ਵਿਚ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੁਲਵਾੜੀ ਜੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੫੫੨॥
The gopis look splendid in white garments and they appear like a flower-garden in the forest of amorous play.552.
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾਹੂੰਕੋਮਾਨਿਕਹਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨਸੁਤਾਹਰਿਪਾਇਨਲਾਗੀ॥
ਚੰਦ੍ਰਭਗਾ ਦਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਧਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚਰਨੀ ਪੈ ਗਈ।
Obeying Chandarbhaga, Radha touched the feet of Krishna
ਮੈਨਸੀਸੁੰਦਰਮੂਰਤਿਪੇਖਿਕੈਤਾਹੀਕੇਦੇਖਿਬੇਕੋਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ॥
ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
She merged like a charming portrait in Krishna on seeing him
ਸੋਵਤਥੀਜਨੁਲਾਜਕੀਨੀਦਮੈਲਾਜਕੀਨੀਦਤਜੀਅਬਜਾਗੀ॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੁਣ ਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਜਾਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
Till now she had been absorbed in the sleep of shyness, but that shyness also abandoned sleep and awoke
ਜਾਕੋਮੁਨੀਨਹਿਅੰਤੁਲਹੈਇਹਤਾਹੀਸੋਖੇਲਕਰੈਬਡਭਾਗੀ॥੫੫੩॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੁਨੀ ਜਨ ਵੀ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੇ, ਇਹ ਵਡਭਾਗਣ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ॥੫੫੩॥
He, whose mystery has not been comprehended by the sages, the fortunate Radhika is absorbed in playing with him.553.

ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਰਾਧਾ ਨੂੰ (ਇਹ) ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ,
ਖੇਲਹੁਗਾਵਹੁਪ੍ਰੇਮਸੋਸੁਨਿਸਮਕੰਚਨਗਾਤ॥੫੫੪॥
ਹੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਾਲੀਏ! ਸੁਣ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਗਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡੋ ॥੫੫੪॥
Krishna said smilingly to Radha, “O dear of the body of gold! You keep on playing smilingly.”554.
ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਬਾਤਸੁਨਿਰਾਧਿਕਾਅਤਿਹੀਬਿਹਸਿਕੈਚੀਤ॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਧਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਹਸ ਕੇ (ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਈ)
ਰਾਸਬਿਖੈਗਾਵਨਲਗੀਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਸੋਮਿਲਿਗੀਤ॥੫੫੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਰਾਸ ਵਿਚ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣ ਲਗੀ ॥੫੫੫॥
Hearing the words of Krishna, Radha, smilingly in her mind, began to sing alongwith the gopis in the amorous play.555.

ਸੋਰਠਿਸਾਰੰਗਸੁਧਮਲਾਰਬਿਲਾਵਲਭੀਤਰਤਾਨਬਸਾਵੈ॥
ਸੋਰਠ, ਸਾਰੰਗ, ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਮਲ੍ਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲਾਵਲ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਨ ਪੂਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Chandarbhaga and Chandarmukhi began to sing alongwith Radha and raised the tunes of Sorath, Sarang, Shuddh Malhar and Bilawal
ਰੀਝਰਹੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਹੂੰਕੀਤ੍ਰੀਯਾਸੋਊਰੀਝਰਹੈਧੁਨਿਜੋਸੁਨਿਪਾਵੈ॥
(ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The women of Braja were allured and whosoever listened to that tune, he was fascinated
ਸੋਸੁਨਕੈਇਨਪੈਹਿਤਕੈਬਨਤਿਆਗਿਮ੍ਰਿਗੀਮ੍ਰਿਗਅਉਚਲਿਆਵੈ॥੫੫੬॥
ਉਸ (ਧੁਨ) ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਬਨ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਨ, ਹਿਰਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਚਲੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੫੫੬॥
Listening to that voice, even the deer and does of the forest moved towards this side.556.
ਤਿਨਸੇਾਂਧੁਰਮਾਗਦਈਸਿਰਪੈਰਸਸੋਤਿਨਕੋਅਤਿਹੀਮਨੁਭੀਨੋ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਂਗ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਧੂਰ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਜ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The gopis filled their partings of the hair on the head with vermilion and their mind was filled with pleasure
ਬੇਸਰਆਡਸੁਕੰਠਸਿਰੀਅਰੁਮੋਤਿਸਿਰੀਹੂੰਕੋਸਾਜਨਵੀਨੋ॥
ਨੱਥ, ਬੁਲਾਕ, ਕੈਂਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ (ਅਦਿਕ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ) ਦਿਲਕਸ਼ ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
They bedecked themselves with the nose-ornaments, necklaces and wreaths of pearls
ਭੂਖਨਅੰਗਸਭੈਸਜਿਸੁੰਦਰਿਆਖਨਭੀਤਰਕਾਜਰਦੀਨੋ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਸਜਾ ਕੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਮਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਤਾਹੀਸੁਤੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਭਗਵਾਨਕੋਚਿਤਚੁਰਾਇਕੈਲੀਨੋ॥੫੫੭॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਚਿਤ ਚੁਰਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੫੫੭॥

ਚੰਦਕੀਚਾਦਨੀਮੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਜਬੈਹਰਿਖੇਲਨਿਰਾਸਲਗਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਸ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਗ ਗਏ।

(ਤਾਂ) ਰਾਧਾ ਦੇ ਚੰਦ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਮੁਖੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
