ਹਰਿਆਵਤਅਗ੍ਰਮਿਲੀਕੁਬਿਜਾਹਰਿਕੋਤਿਨਿਸੁੰਦਰਰੂਪਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਗੋਂ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਮਿਲ ਪਈ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖਿਆ,
At the time of coming, Krishna met Kubja standing in front
ਗੰਧਲਏਨ੍ਰਿਪਲਾਵਨਕੋਸੁਲਗਾਊਹਉਯਾਮਨਬੀਚਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਉਹ) ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ (ਉਹ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ) ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਵਾਂ।
Kubja saw Krishna’s charming form, she was taking away the balm for the king, she thought in her mind that it would be very good if she gets an opportunity for applying that balm on the body of K
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਲਖੀਹਰਿਸੰਗਲਗੀਹਮਰੇਤਬਹੀਇਹਭਾਤਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਜਦ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ (ਇਸ ਦੀ) ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਲਗ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤਦ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ,
When Krishna visualised her love, he said himself, “Bring it and apply it to me
ਲ੍ਯਾਵਹੁਲਾਵਹੁਰੀਹਮਕੋਕਬਿਨੈਜਸੁਤਾਛਬਿਕੋਇਮਸਾਰਿਯੋ॥੮੨੮॥
ਨੀ! ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਲਗਾ ਦੇ। ਉਸ ਛਬੀ ਦੇ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੨੮॥

ਜਦੁਰਾਇਕੋਆਇਸੁਮਾਨਤ੍ਰੀਯਾਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਇਹਚੰਦਨਦੇਹਲਗਾਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ (ਉਸ) ਇਸਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ (ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ) ਚੰਦਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਉਤੇ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Obeying the words of the king of Yadavas, that woman applied that balm on his body
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੋਰੂਪੁਨਿਹਾਰਤਹੀਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਮਨੈਅਤਿਹੀਸੁਖੁਪਾਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ।
Seeing the beauty of Krishna, the poet Shyam has attained extreme happiness
ਜਾਕੋਨਅੰਤਲਖਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਕਰਿਕੈਮਨਿਪ੍ਰੇਮਕਈਦਿਨਗਾਯੋ॥
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਨੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਦਿਨ ਯਸ਼ ਗਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
He is the same Lord, even Brahma eulogizing him could not know his mystery
ਭਾਗਬਡੋਇਹਮਾਲਿਨਕੇਹਰਿਕੇਤਨਕੋਜਿਨਿਹਾਥਛੁਹਾਯੋ॥੮੨੯॥
ਇਸ ਮਾਲਣ ਦੇ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਛੋਹਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੮੨੯॥
This servant is very fortunate, who has touched the body of Krishna with her own hands.829.
ਹਰਿਏਕਧਰਿਯੋਪਗਪਾਇਨਪੈਅਰੁਹਾਥਸੋਹਾਥਗਹਿਯੋਕੁਬਜਾਕੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਪੈਰ ਉਸ (ਕੁਬਜਾ) ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਧਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਪਕੜ ਲਏ।
Krishna put his foot on the foot of Kubja and caught her hand in his hand
ਸੀਧੀਕਰੀਕੁਬਰੀਤੇਸੋਊਇਤਨੋਬਲੁਹੈਜਗਮੈਕਹੁਕਾਕੋ॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ) ਕੁਬਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਧਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਇਸ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਬਲ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ।
He straightened that hump-backed and the power of doing this is not with any other in the world
ਜਾਹਿਮਰਿਯੋਬਕਬੀਰਅਬੈਕਰਿਹੈਬਧਸੋਪਤਿਪੈਮਥੁਰਾਕੋ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਬਕਾਸੁਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਮਥਰਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਕੰਸ) ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
He who killed Bakasura, he will now kill Kansa, the king of Mathura
ਭਾਗਬਡੇਇਹਕੇਜਿਹਕੋਉਪਚਾਰਕਰਿਯੋਹਰਿਬੈਦਹ੍ਵੈਤਾਕੋ॥੮੩੦॥
ਇਸ (ਕੁਬਜਾ) ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਪਚਾਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਖ਼ੁਦ) ਵੈਦ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ॥੮੩੦॥
The fate of this jump-backed is appreciable, who was treated as a doctor by the Lord himself.830.

ਕੁਬਜਾ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੁਣੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੋ।
ਅਤਿਹੀਮੁਖੁਦੇਖਕੈਰੀਝਰਹੀਸੁਕਹਿਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੇਬਿਨਹੀਡਰਸੋ॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ) ਮੁਖ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਉਹ ਕੁਬਜਾ) ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ।
Kubja asked the Lord to go with her to her home, she was fascinated on seeing the face of Krishna, but she was also afraid of the king
ਹਰਿਜਾਨ੍ਯੋਕਿਮੋਮੈਰਹੀਬਸਹ੍ਵੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਤਿਹਸੋਛਰਸੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ (ਇਹ) ਮੇਰੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ) ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛਲ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਕਿਹਾ-
ਕਰਿਹੌਤੁਮਰੋਸੁਮਨੋਰਥਪੂਰਨਕੰਸਕੋਕੈਬਧਹਉਬਰਸੋ॥੮੩੧॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਸ ਦਾ ਬਧ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂ, (ਫਿਰ) ਤੇਰਾ ਵੀ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ॥੮੩੧॥
Krishna thought that she was allured on seeing him, but keeping her in illusion, the Lord (Krishan) said, “After killing Kansa, I shall fulfil your desire.”831.
ਕੁਬਜਾਕੋਸੁਵਾਰਕੈਕਾਜਤਬੈਪੁਨਿਦੇਖਨਕੇਰਸਮੈਅਨੁਰਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਕੁਬਜਾ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਸੰਵਾਰ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ (ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖਣ ਵਿਚ ਰੁਚਿਤ ਹੋਏ।
After finishing the task of Kubja, Krishna was absorbed in seeing the city
ਧਾਇਗਯੋਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਧਨੁਸੁੰਦਰਕੋਸੋਦੇਖਨਲਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਭਜ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਥੇ (ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ) ਸੁੰਦਰ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਪਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਗ ਗਏ।
The place where the women were standing, he went there to see them
ਭ੍ਰਿਤਨਕੇਕਰਤੇਸੁਮਨੈਹਰਿਕੇਮਨਮੈਅਤਿਹੀਕੁਪਿਜਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ।
The spies of the king forbade Krishna, but he was filled with rage
ਗਾੜੀਕਸੀਸਦਈਧਨਕੋਦ੍ਰਿੜਕੈਜਿਹਤੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਧਨੁਭਾਗਿਯੋ॥੮੩੨॥
(ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਲਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ॥੮੩੨॥
He pulled his bow with force and with its twang, the women of the king awoke with fear.832.
ਗਾੜੀਕਸੀਸਦਈਕੁਪਿਕੈਰੁਪਿਠਾਢਭਯੋਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈ॥
(ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਉਤੇ) ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਲਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਖੜੋ ਗਿਆ।
Getting enraged, Krishna created fear and stood on the same place
ਬਰਸਿੰਘਮਨੋਦ੍ਰਿਗਕਾਢਕੈਠਾਢੋਹੈਪੇਖੈਜੋਊਗਿਰੈਭੂਮਿਬਿਖੈ॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ) ਮਾਨੋ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਖੜੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ; ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਹੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਸੀ।
He was standing like a lion gaping wide his eyes in wrath, whosoever saw him, fell on the ground
ਦੇਖਤਹੀਡਰਪਿਯੋਮਘਵਾਡਰਪਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਜੋਊਲੇਖਲਿਖੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਇੰਦਰ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ, ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਵੀ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ (ਉਹ ਚਿਤਰ ਗੁਪਤ ਵੀ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ) ਜੋ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
Seeing this scene even Brahma and Indra were filled with fear
ਧਨੁਕੇਟੁਕਰੇਸੰਗਜੋਧਨਮਾਰਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਅਤਿਹੀਸੁਤਿਖੈ॥੮੩੩॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਟੁਕੜੇ, (ਜੋ) ਬਹੁਤ ਤਿਖੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ) ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੩੩॥
Breaking his bow, Krishna began to kill with its sharp bits.833.

ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
For the sake of the story of Krishna, I have mentioned the strength of the bow
ਅਤਿਹੀਚੂਕਮੋਤੇਭਈਛਿਮੀਯੈਸੋਮਹਾਰਾਜ॥੮੩੪॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੁਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ! (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਖਿਮਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਓ ॥੮੩੪॥
O Lord! I have greatly and extremely erred, forgive me for this.834.

ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਗੇ।
Taking the bit of the bow in his hand Krishna began to kill there the great heroes
ਧਾਇਪਰੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਬੀਰਤਬੈਤਿਨਕੇਮਨਮੈਅਤਿਹੀਕੁਪਿਜਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਵੀ ਧਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ।
There those heroes also fell upon Krishna in great rage
ਫੇਰਿਲਗਿਯੋਤਿਨਕੋਹਰਿਮਾਰਨਜੁਧਹਕੇਰਸਮੋਅਨੁਰਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਗ ਗਏ, (ਉਹ) ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਵਿਚ (ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਗੜੁਚ ਸਨ।
Krishna also absorbed in fighting also began to kill them
ਸੋਰਭਯੋਅਤਿਠਉਰਤਹਾਸੁਨਕੈਜਿਹਕੋਸਿਵਜੂਉਠਿਭਾਗਿਯੋ॥੮੩੫॥
ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ (ਸਮਾਧੀ ਛਡ ਕੇ) ਉਠ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਿਆ ॥੮੩੫॥
There was such a great noise there that on hearing the same even Shiva arose and fled.835.

ਤੀਨੋਲੋਕਪਤਿਅਤਿਜੁਧੁਕਰਿਕੋਪਿਭਰੇਤਊਨੇਠਉਰਜਹਾਬਰਬੀਰਅਤਿਸ੍ਵੈਰਹੇ॥
ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ (ਮੌਤ ਦੀ) ਨੀਂਦਰ ਸੌਂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਸੂਰਮੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਿਰੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ,
Where great warriors are standing firmly, there Krishna is fighting greatly enraged’
ਐਸੇਬੀਰਗਿਰੇਜੈਸੇਬਾਢੀਕੇਕਟੇਤੇਰੂਖਗਿਰੇਬਿਸੰਭਾਰੁਅਸਿਹਾਥਨਨਹੀਗਹੇ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਰਖਾਣ ਦੇ ਕਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਡਿਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਸਾਰੇ) ਬੇਸੁਧ ਹਨ, ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਪਕੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ।
The warriors are falling like the trees being cut by the carpenter
ਅਤਿਹੀਤਰੰਗਨੀਉਠੀਹੈਤਹਾਜੋਧਨਤੈਸੀਸਸਮਬਟੇਅਸਿਨਕ੍ਰਭਾਤਿਹ੍ਵੈਬਹੇ॥
(ਉਥੇ) ਵੱਡੀ ਨਦੀ ਉਠ ਖੜੋਤੀ ਹੈ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ) ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਟਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਨ, (ਪਾਣੀ ਰੂਪ ਲਹੂ ਵਿਚ) ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਤੰਦੂਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਵਹਿ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
There is a flood of warriors and the heads and swords are flowing the blood
ਗੋਰੇਪੈਬਰਦਚੜਿਆਇਥੇਬਰਦਪਤਿਗੋਰੀਗਉਰਾਗੋਰੇਰੁਦ੍ਰਰਾਤੇਰਾਤੇਹ੍ਵੈਰਹੇ॥੮੩੬॥
(ਉਥੇ) ਚਿੱਟੇ ਬਲਦ ਉਪਰ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ, ਪਾਰਬਤੀ ਗੋਰੀ ਸੀ, ਰੁਦਰ ਗੋਰਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ (ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ) ਲਾਲੋ ਲਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੮੩੬॥

ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਨੇ (ਅਜਿਹਾ) ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ (ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਇਕ) ਵੱਡਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ (ਉਥੇ) ਖੜੋਤਾ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਿਆ।

ਐਸੇਝੂਮਿਪਰੇਬੀਰਮਾਰੇਧਨਟੂਕਨਕੇਮਾਨੋਕੰਸਰਾਜਾਜੂਕੋਸਾਰੋਦਲੁਸ੍ਵੈਰਹਿਯੋ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਦੇ ਟੋਟਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਯੋਧੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ (ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ) ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਸਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਕੰਸ ਰਾਜਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਲ ਸੌਂ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ।

ਕੇਤੇਉਠਿਭਾਗੇਕੇਤੇਜੁਧਹੀਕੋਫੇਰਿਲਾਗੇਸੋਊਸਮਬਨਹਰਹਰਿਤਾਤੋਹ੍ਵੈਕਹਿਯੋ॥
(ਸੁਰਤ ਪਰਤਣ ਤੇ) ਕਈ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਕਈ ਫਿਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਲਗ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੰਗਲ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਤਪ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਗਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਡਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ (ਲਹੂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਛਿੱਟਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੁਟੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਲਾਲ ਰੰਗ ਦੀ ਅਨੂਪਮ ਛੀਂਟ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੮੩੭॥

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਧ (ਦੀ ਗੱਲ) ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਹੋਰ (ਸੈਨਾ) ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੀ ॥੮੩੮॥
Hearing about the killing of his army, Kansa sent more warriors there again.838.
