ਮਾਰਿਲਏਰਿਪੁਬੀਰਦੋਊਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਉਮਨਭੀਤਰਿਕ੍ਰੋਧਭਰਿਯੋ॥
ਜਦੋਂ (ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਦੋ ਵੈਰੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ।
When both the brothers killed the enemies, the king was filled with rage
ਇਨਕੋਭਟਮਾਰਹੁਖੇਤਅਬੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਅਰੁਸੋਰਕਰਿਯੋ॥
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਓਂ! ਹੁਣੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਓ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਮਚਾਇਆ।
He, in great tumultuousness, said to his warriors, “Kill both of them just now,”
ਜਦੁਰਾਇਭਰਥੂਤਬਪਾਨਲਗੋਅਪਨੇਮਨਮੈਨਹੀਨੈਕੁਡਰਿਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਭੜਥੂ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਾ ਡਰਿਆ।
The king of the Yadavas (Krishna) and his brother, catching hand of each other, stood there fearlessly
ਜੋਊਆਇਪਰਿਯੋਹਰਪੈਕੁਪਿਕੈਹਰਿਥਾਪਰਸੋਸੋਊਮਾਰਿਡਰਿਯੋ॥੮੫੦॥
ਜੋ ਵੀ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਤੇ ਆ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਥਪੜ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ (ਜਾਂ ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ) ॥੮੫੦॥
Whosoever fell upon them in fury, was killed at that place by Krishna and Balram.850.
ਹਰਿਕੂਦਿਤਬੈਰੰਗਭੂਮਹਿਤੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਥੋਸੁਜਹਾਤਹਹੀਪਗੁਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਰੰਗ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਦ ਕੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ, ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੈਰ ਟਿਕਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Now, jumping from the stage, Krishna stabilized his feet at the place where king Kansa was seated
ਕੰਸਲਈਕਰਿਢਾਲਿਸੰਭਾਰਕੈਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋਅਸਿਖੈਚਨਿਕਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਕੰਸ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਢਾਲ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਖਿਚ ਲਈ।
Kansa, in anger, controlling his shield, pulled out his sword and struck a blow on Krishna
ਦਉਰਿਦਈਤਿਹਕੇਤਨਪੈਹਰਿਫਾਧਿਗਏਅਤਿਦਾਵਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਭਜ ਕੇ ਉਸ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ, (ਅਗੋਂ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਇਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਲ ਹਟ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਓ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।
Krishna jumped away and saved himself from this stratagem
ਕੇਸਨਤੇਗਹਿਕੈਰਿਪੁਕੋਧਰਨੀਪਰਕੈਬਲਤਾਹਿੰਪਛਾਰਿਯੋ॥੮੫੧॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਪਟਕਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ॥੮੫੧॥
He caught hold of the enemy from his hair and with force dashed him on the ground.851.
ਗਹਿਕੇਸਨਤੇਪਟਕਿਯੋਧਰਸੋਗਹਗੋਡਨਤੇਤਬਘੀਸਦਯੋ॥
(ਪਹਿਲਾਂ) ਕੇਸਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਪਟਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ (ਫਿਰ) ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਗੋਡਿਆਂ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਟੰਗਾਂ) ਤੋਂ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਘਸੀਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Catching hold of his hair, Krishna threw Kansa on the erth and catching his leg, he dragged him
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਮਾਰਿਹੁਲਾਸਬਢਿਯੋਜੀਯਮੈਅਤਿਹੀਪੁਰਭੀਤਰਸੋਰਪਯੋ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ (ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਵਧਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੌਲਾ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ।
Killing the king Kansa, Krishna’s mind was filled with delight and on the other side there were loud lamentations in the palace
ਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਪ੍ਰਤਾਪਪਿਖੋਹਰਿਕੋਜਿਨਿਸਾਧਨਰਾਖਕੈਸਤ੍ਰਛਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਵੇਖੋ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The poet says that the glory of Lord Krishna may be visualised, who has protected the saints and destroyed the enemies
ਕਟਿਬੰਧਨਤਾਤਦਏਮਨਕੇਸਭਹੀਜਗਮੈਜਸਵਾਹਿਲਯੋ॥੮੫੨॥
(ਆਪਣੇ) ਪਿਤਾ (ਬਸੁਦੇਵ) ਦੇ ਮਨ (ਅਤੇ ਤਨ) ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਯਸ਼ ਖਟਿਆ ॥੮੫੨॥
He has broken the bondages of all and in this way, he has broken the bondages of all and in this way, he has been praised by the world.
ਰਿਪੁਕੋਬਧਕੈਤਬਹੀਹਰਿਜੂਬਿਸਰਾਤਕੇਘਾਟਕੈਊਪਰਿਆਯੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਤਦ ਹੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ 'ਬਸਰਾਤ' ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਉਪਰ ਆਏ।
ਕੰਸਕੇਬੀਰਬਲੀਜੁਹੁਤੇਤਿਨਦੇਖਤਸ੍ਯਾਮਕੋਕੋਪੁਬਢਾਯੋ॥
ਕੰਸ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ (ਉਥੇ) ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾਇਆ।
After killing the enemy, Krishna came on the ferry of Yamuna and when he saw there other warriors of Kansa, he was greatly enraged
ਸੋਨਗਯੋਤਿਨਪਾਸਛਮਿਯੋਹਰਿਕੇਸੰਗਿਆਇਕੈਜੁਧਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਉਹ (ਕ੍ਰੋਧ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਦਬਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਆ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
He, who did not come to him, he was forgive, but still some warriors came and began to wage war with him
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੰਭਾਰਿਤਬੈਬਲਕੋਤਿਨਕੋਧਰਨੀਪਰਮਾਰਿਗਿਰਾਯੋ॥੮੫੩॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੮੫੩॥
He sustaining his power, killed all of them.853.
ਗਜਸੋਅਤਿਹੀਕੁਪਿਜੁਧਕਰਿਯੋਤਿਹਤੇਡਰਿਕੈਨਹੀਪੈਗਟਰੇ॥
ਹਾਥੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਡਰ ਕੇ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟੇ।
Krishna, highly infuriated, fought persistently with the elephant, in the beginning
ਦੋਊਮਲਮਰੇਰੰਗਿਭੂਮਿਬਿਖੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਤਹਾਪਹਰੇਕੁਲਰੇ॥
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਰੰਗ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ (ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਉਥੇ ਇਕ ਪਹਿਰ ਤਕ ਲੜਦੇ ਰਹੇ।
Then, fighting continuously for a few hours, he killed both the wrestlers on the stage
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਰਾਜਕੋਮਾਰਗਏਜਮੁਨਾਤਟਿਬੀਰਭਿਰੇਸੋਊਆਨਿਮਰੇ॥
ਰਾਜੇ (ਕੰਸ) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਜਮਨਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਉਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ (ਕੰਸ ਦੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੀ) ਜੋਧੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਲੜੇ, (ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ) ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।
Then killing Kansa and reaching the bank of Yamuna, he fought with these warriors and killed them
ਰਖਿਸਾਧਨਸਤ੍ਰਸੰਘਾਰਦਏਨਭਿਤੇਤਿਹਊਪਰਿਫੂਲਪਰੇ॥੮੫੪॥
ਸਾਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੋਈ ॥੮੫੪॥
There was shower of flowers from the sky, because Krishna protected the saints and killed the enemies.854.

ਰਾਜਸੁਤਾਦੁਖੁਮਾਨਿਮਨੈਤਜਿਧਾਮਨਕੋਹਰਿਜੂਪਹਿਆਈ॥
ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ (ਰਾਜਾ ਜਰਾਸੰਧ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਤਰੀ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਖ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਰਾਜ ਮਹੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਗਈ।
The queen, in her extreme sorrow, left the palaces and came to Krishna
ਆਇਕੈਸੋਘਿਘਿਆਤਭਈਹਰਿਪੈਦੁਖਕੀਸਭਬਾਤਸੁਨਾਈ॥
ਆ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪਾਸ ਹਾਲ-ਦੁਹਾਈ ਮਚਾਉਣ ਲਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਖ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਦਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
While weeping, she began to relate her suffering to Krishna
ਡਾਰਿਦਯੋਸਿਰਊਪਰਕੋਪਟਪੈਤਿਹਭੀਤਰਛਾਰਮਿਲਾਈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਪਰਲਾ ਕਪੜਾ ਲਾਹ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਆਹ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
The garment of her head had fallen down and there was dust in her head
ਕੰਠਿਲਗਾਇਰਹੀਭਰਤਾਹਰਿਜੂਤਿਹਦੇਖਤਗ੍ਰੀਵਨਿਵਾਈ॥੮੫੫॥
(ਆਪਣੇ) ਪਤੀ (ਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ) ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੀ ਰਹੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਗਰਦਨ ਨਿਵਾ ਲਈ ॥੮੫੫॥
While coming, she hugged her (dead) husband to her bosom and seeing this, Krishna bowed down his head.855.
ਰਿਪੁਕਰਮਕਰੇਤਬਹੀਹਰਿਜੀਫਿਰਕੈਸੋਊਮਾਤਪਿਤਾਪਹਿਆਏ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ (ਦਾਹ) ਕਰਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਥੋਂ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਾਸ ਆ ਗਏ।
After performing the funeral rites of the king, Krishna came to his parents
ਤਾਤਨਮਾਤਭਏਬਸਿਮੋਹਕੇਪੁਤ੍ਰਦੁਹੂਨਕੋਸੀਸਨਿਵਾਏ॥
ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ (ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ।
Both the parents also bowed their heads on account of the attachment and reverence
ਬ੍ਰਹਮਲਖਿਯੋਤਿਨਕੋਕਰਿਕੈਹਰਿਜੀਤਿਨਕੈਮਨਮੋਹਬਢਾਏ॥
(ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ) ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਮੋਹ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
They considered Krishna as God and Krishna also penetrated more attachment in their mind
ਕੈਬਿਨਤੀਅਤਿਭਾਤਿਕੇਭਾਵਕੈਬੰਧਨਪਾਇਨਤੇਛੁਟਵਾਏ॥੮੫੬॥
ਅਨੇਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਪੈਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੰਧਨ ਖੁਲਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ॥੮੫੬॥
Krishna, with great modesty, instructed them in various ways and liberated them from bondages.856.

ਚਲਿਆਇਕੈਸੋਫਿਰਿਨੰਦਕੇਧਾਮਿਕਿਧੌਤਿਨਸੋਬਿਨਤੀਅਤਿਕੀਨੀ॥
ਉਥੋ ਚਲ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਨੰਦ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਹਉਬਸੁਦੇਵਹਿਕੋਸੁਤਹੋਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਤਿਨਮਾਨਕੈਲੀਨੀ॥
(ਕੀ) 'ਮੈਂ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ', ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਨ ਲਿਆ।
Krishna then came to the place of Nand and humbly requested him to tell him whether he was actually the son of Vasudev, to which Nand agreed.
ਜਾਹੁਕਹਿਯੋਤੁਮਧਾਮਨਕੋਬਤੀਯਾਸੁਨਿਮੋਹਪ੍ਰਜਾਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੀਨੀ॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਓ, (ਇਹ) ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਮੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਪਸੀਜ ਗਈ।
Then Nand asked all the people present there to go to their homes
ਨੰਦਕਹਿਯੋਸੁਕਹਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੀਬਿਨੁਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਭਈਸੁਪੁਰੀਸਭਹੀਨੀ॥੮੫੭॥
ਜੋ ਨੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਉਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀ (ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ) ਕਹਿ ਦਿੱਤਾ। (ਫਲਸਰੂਪ) ਬ੍ਰਜ-ਪੁਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਣੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ॥੮੫੭॥
This was what Nand said, but without Krishna the land of Braja would lose all its glory.857.
ਸੀਸਝੁਕਾਇਗਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੋਅਤਿਹੀਮਨਭੀਤਰਸੋਕਭਯੋਹੈ॥
(ਨੰਦ ਸਹਿਤ) ਸਿਰ ਝੁਕਾ ਕੇ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਬ੍ਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਗ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Bowing his head, Nand also left for Braja, with extreme sorrow in his mind
ਜਿਉਕੋਊਤਾਤਮਰੈਪਛੁਤਾਤਹੈਪ੍ਯਾਰੋਕੋਊਮਨੋਭ੍ਰਾਤਛਯੋਹੈ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਡਾਢੇ (ਪਿਆਰੇ) ਦੇ ਮਰਨ ਤੇ ਪਛਤਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਨੋ ਕੋਈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਭਰਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
All of them are in great anguish like the bereavement on the death of the father or brother
ਪੈਜਿਮਰਾਜਬਡੇਰਿਪੁਰਾਜਕੀਪੈਰਨਮੈਪਤਿਖੋਇਗਯੋਹੈ॥
ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਤਿ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Or like the seizure of the kingdom and honour of a great sovereign by an enemy
ਯੌਉਪਜੀਉਪਮਾਬਸੁਦੇਠਗਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਮਨੋਧਨਲੂਟਿਲਯੋਹੈ॥੮੫੮॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ (ਕਵੀ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ, ਮਾਨੋ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਠਗ ਨੇ (ਨੰਦ ਕੋਲੋਂ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਲੁਟ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੮੫੮॥
The poet says that it appears to him that a thug like Vasudev has plundered the wealth of Krishna.858.

ਨੰਦ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਿਹਾ

ਨੰਦਆਇਬ੍ਰਿਜਪੁਰਬਿਖੈਕਹੀਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਕੀਬਾਤ॥
ਨੰਦ ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਪੁਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ।
ਸੁਨਤਸੋਕਕੀਨੋਸਬੈਰੋਦਨਕੀਨੋਮਾਤ॥੮੫੯॥
(ਇਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਬ੍ਰਜਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ) ਸੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ (ਜਸੋਧਾ) ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਨ ਲਗ ਪਈ ॥੮੫੯॥
On coming to Braja, Nand told all the matter regarding Krishna, hearing which all were filled with anguish and Yashoda also began to weep.859.
