ਤਾਹੀਕੀਓਰਿਰਹੋਲਿਵਲਾਇਰੀਯਾਤੇਕਛੂਤੁਮਰੋਨਹੀਖੀਜੈ॥੯੦੨॥
ਅੜੀਓ! ਉਸੇ ਵਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਗਾਈ ਰਖੋ, ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਘਟਣਾ ॥੯੦੨॥
You may concentrate your attention on him, you shall not be doing anything wrong by this.”902.

ਸੁਨਿਊਧਵਤੇਬਿਧਿਯਾਬਤੀਯਾਤਿਨਊਧਵਕੋਇਮਉਤਰੁਦੀਨੋ॥
ਊਧਵ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਢੰਗ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਜਾਸੁਨਿਬ੍ਰਯੋਗਹੁਲਾਸਘਟੈਜਿਹਕੋਸੁਨਿਏਦੁਖਹੋਵਤਜੀਨੋ॥
ਜਿਸ (ਦਾ ਨਾਂ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਵਿਯੋਗ (ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ) ਹੁਲਾਸ ਘਟ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ (ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਣਨ ਨਾਲ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਦੁਖ ਹੋਵੇ।
Hearing these words of Udhava, they replied, “O Udhava! hearing about whom, there is feeling of separation and the happiness is decreased,
ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਗਏਤੁਮਹੋਹਮਕੋਹਮਰੋਤੁਮਰੇਰਸਮੈਮਨੁਭੀਨੋ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਗਏ ਹੋ, (ਪਰ) ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਭਿਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
“That Krishna has left us
ਯੌਕਹਿਯੋਤਾਸੰਗਯੌਕਹੀਯੋਹਰਿਜੂਤੁਹਿਪ੍ਰੇਮਬਿਦਾਕਰਿਦੀਨੋ॥੯੦੩॥
(ਜਿਸ ਨੇ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਣਾ, ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੦੩॥
When you go, you may tell this to him, “You have forthwith forsaken love.”903.
ਫਿਰਕੈਸੰਗਿਊਧਵਕੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਭਾਮਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਫਿਰ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਹੇ।
ਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਗਏਨਲਈਸੁਧਿਹੈਰਸਸੋਹਮਰੋਮਨੂਆਤੁਮਜਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਦੇ) ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਗਏ ਹੋ, (ਫਿਰ) ਕੋਈ ਸੁਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈ, (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The women of Braja said to Udhava again, “On one side he has left us and on the other side, your talk is inflaming our mind,”
ਇਉਕਹਿਕੈਪੁਨਿਐਸੇਕਹਿਯੋਤਿਹਕੋਸੁਕਿਧੌਕਬਿਯੌਜਸੁਸਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਹਾ, (ਅਤੇ) ਉਸ ਦੇ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਊਧਵਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੋਯੌਕਹੀਯੋਹਰਿਜੂਤੁਹਿਪ੍ਰੇਮਬਿਦਾਕਰਿਡਾਰਿਯੋ॥੯੦੪॥
ਹੇ ਊਧਵ! ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਕਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੦੪॥
Saying thus, the gopis added, “O Udhava! you may tell Krishna this much definitely : ‘O Krishna! you have bidden farewell to the passion of love.”904.
ਫੇਰਿਕਹਿਯੋਇਮਊਧਵਸੋਜਬਹੀਸਭਹੀਹਰਿਕੇਰਸਭੀਨੀ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਭਿਜ ਗਈਆਂ (ਤਾਂ) ਫਿਰ ਊਧਵ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ।
ਜੋਤਿਨਸੋਕਹਿਯੋਊਧਵਇਉਤਿਨਊਧਵਸੋਬਿਨਤੀਇਹਕੀਨੀ॥
ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Getting mad again in the passionate love of Krishna, the gopis said to Udhava, “O Udhava! we request you that
ਕੰਚਨਸੋਜਿਨਕੋਤਨਥੋਜੋਊਹਾਨਬਿਖੈਹੁਤੀਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਨਵੀਨੀ॥
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੋਨੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਮਰ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ (ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ) ਸਨ।
“Those gopis, whose bodies were like gold, their bodies have been destroyed
ਊਧਵਜੂਹਮਕੋਤਜਿਕੈਤੁਮਰੇਬਿਨੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਛੂਸੁਧਿਲੀਨੀ॥੯੦੫॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਊਧਵ ਜੀ! ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਿਵਾ (ਹੋਰ ਸਾਡੀ) ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸੁਧ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੦੫॥
O Udhava! none except you has communicated with us.”905.
ਏਕਕਹੈਅਤਿਆਤੁਰਹ੍ਵੈਇਕਕੋਪਿਕਹੈਜਿਨਤੇਹਿਤਭਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਇਕ (ਗੋਪੀ) ਅਤਿ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਊਧਵਜੂਜਿਹਦੇਖਨਕੋਹਮਰੋਮਨੂਆਅਤਿਹੀਅਨੁਰਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਹੇ ਊਧਵ ਜੀ! ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ,
Someone in extreme worry and someone in extreme ire is saying, “O Udhava! he, for whose sight, our love is overflowing, the same Krishna has cast off his love for us
ਸੋਹਮਕੋਤਜਿਗਯੋਪੁਰਮੈਪੁਰਬਾਸਿਨਕੇਰਸਭੀਤਰਪਾਗਿਯੋ॥
ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
“He has forsaken us and has absorbed himself with the residents of his city
ਜਉਹਰਿਜੂਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਰਿਤਜੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਰਿਨਭੀਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਤਿਆਗਿਯੋ॥੯੦੬॥
ਜੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਤਾਂ) ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਨੇ ਵੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੦੬॥
It is true the way in which Krishna has abandoned the women of Braja, now you may accept this that the women of Braja have abandoned Krishna.”906.
ਏਕਨਯੌਕਹਿਯੋਸ੍ਯਾਮਤਜਿਯੋਇਕਐਸੇਕਹੈਹਮਕਾਮਕਰੈਗੀ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ (ਗੋਪੀਆਂ) ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ (ਵੀ ਓਹੀ) ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Some of the gopis said that they had forsaken Krishna and some of them said that they would do whatever Krishna has asked them to do
ਭੇਖਜਿਤੇਕਹਿਯੋਜੋਗਿਨਕੇਤਿਤਨੇਹਮਆਪਨੇਅੰਗਿਡਰੈਗੀ॥
ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਭੇਸ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਤਨਾ ਹੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
The guises that Krishna had asked them to do, the guises that Krishna had asked the gopis to wear, they would wear them
ਏਕਕਹੈਹਮਜੈਹੈਤਹਾਇਕਐਸੇਕਹੈਗੁਨਿਹੀਉਚਰੈਗੀ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ (ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਬਣ ਕੇ) ਉਥੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ (ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Some of them said that they would go to Krishna and others said that they would sing his praises
ਏਕਕਹੈਹਮਖੈਮਰਿਹੈਬਿਖਇਕਯੌਕਹੈਧ੍ਯਾਨਹੀਬੀਚਮਰੈਗੀ॥੯੦੭॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ (ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ॥੯੦੭॥
Some gopi says that she will die by taking poison and someone else says that she will die while meditating upon him.907.
ਊਧਵਬਾਚਗੋਪਿਨਸੋ॥
ਊਧਵ ਨੇ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ, (ਊਧਵ ਨੇ) ਵਿਸਮਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ,
ਹਮਜਾਨਤਹੈਤੁਮਰੀਹਰਿਸੋਬਲਿਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਘਨੀਇਹਕਾਮਕਰੋ॥
ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਿਘੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ) ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਜਾਵਾਂ, ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ।
Seeing such a state of gopis, Udhava marveled over it and said, “I know that you are immensely in love with Krishna,
ਜੋਊਸ੍ਯਾਮਪਠਿਯੋਤੁਮਪੈਹਮਕੋਇਹਰਾਵਲਭੇਖਨਅੰਗਿਧਰੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਜੋ (ਕਹਿ ਕੇ) ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ) ਜੋਗ ਦਾ ਭੇਖ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੋ।
“But you are advised not to assume the garb of Yogins
ਤਜਿਕੈਗ੍ਰਿਹਕੇਪੁਨਿਕਾਜਸਭੈਸਖੀਮੋਰੇਹੀਧ੍ਯਾਨਕੇਬੀਚਅਰੋ॥੯੦੮॥
ਫਿਰ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਖੀਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਲਗੀਆਂ ਰਹੋ ॥੯੦੮॥
I have been sent by Krishna to you ask you to forsake your homely duties and only meditate on Krishna.”908.
ਗੋਪਿਨਬਾਚਊਧਵਸੋ॥
ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਏਕਸਮੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੁੰਜਨਮੈਮੁਹਿਕਾਨਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਤਟੰਕਧਰਾਏ॥
ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁੰਜ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਝੁਮਕੇ ਪਾਏ ਸਨ।
Once in the alvoces of Braja, Krishna bedecked me with ear-pendants which were studded with very precious stones
ਕੰਚਨਕੇਬਹੁਮੋਲਜਰੇਨਗਬ੍ਰਹਮਸਕੈਉਪਮਾਨਗਨਾਏ॥
(ਉਹ) ਸੋਨੇ (ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਵਡ-ਮੁਲੇ ਨਗ ਜੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਸ ਸਕਦਾ।
Their praise could not even be uttered by Brahma
ਬਜ੍ਰਲਗੇਜਿਨਬੀਚਛਟਾਚਮਕੈਚਹੂੰਓਰਿਧਰਾਛਬਿਪਾਏ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀਰੇ ('ਬਜ੍ਰ') ਲਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਛਬੀ ਪਾਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
Just as the lightning flashes in the clouds, their beauty was just like that
ਤਉਨਸਮੈਹਰਿਵੈਦਏਊਧਵਦੈਅਬਰਾਵਲਭੇਖਪਠਾਏ॥੯੦੯॥
ਹੇ ਊਧਵ! ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਉਹ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਜੋਗ ਦਾ ਭੇਸ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੯੦੯॥
O Udhava! Krishna gave all these at that time, but now he, having clad you in the garb of yogi, has sent to us.909.
ਏਕਕਹੈਹਮਜੋਗਨਿਹ੍ਵੈਹੈਕਹੈਇਕਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹਿਯੋਹੀਕਰੈਂਗੀ॥
ਇਕ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੀ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਬਣਾਂਗੀਆਂ, ਇਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਓਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
ਡਾਰਿਬਿਭੂਤਿਸਭੈਤਨਪੈਬਟੂਆਚਿਪੀਆਕਰਬੀਚਧਰੈਂਗੀ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਬਿਭੂਤੀ ਮਲ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ (ਬਿਭੂਤੀ ਦਾ) ਬਟੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੱਪੀ ਪਕੜ ਲਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ।
Some gopi said that they would become yogins according to the saying of Krishna and rub ashes on the body and carry begging bowls
ਏਕਕਹੈਹਮਜਾਹਿਤਹਾਇਕਯੌਕਹੈਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਖਾਇਮਰੈਂਗੀ॥
ਇਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਥੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਗੋਪੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ (ਕੁਝ) ਖਾ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ।
Someone said that they would go to Krishna and die there on taking poison
ਏਕਕਹੈਬਿਰਹਾਗਨਿਕੋਉਪਜਾਇਕੈਤਾਹੀਕੇਸੰਗਜਰੈਂਗੀ॥੯੧੦॥
ਇਕ ਕਹਿੰਦੀ ਕਿ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਵਿਯੋਗ ਦੀ ਅਗਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੜ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੀ ॥੯੧੦॥
Someone said that they would produce the fire of separation and burn themselves in it.910.
ਰਾਧੇਬਾਚਊਧਵਸੋ॥
ਰਾਧਾ ਨੇ ਊਧਵ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਪ੍ਰੇਮਛਕੀਅਪਨੇਮੁਖਤੇਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨੁਕੀਜਾਈ॥
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਧਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ,
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਗਏਮਥੁਰਾਤਜਿਕੈਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੋਅਬਧੋਹਮਰੀਗਤਿਕਾਈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਬ੍ਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ, ਹੁਣ ਸਾਡੀ ਕੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
Being immersed in the love of Krishna, Radha said, “Now Krishna has forsaken Braja and gone to Matura and has put us in such straitened circumstances
ਦੇਖਤਹੀਪੁਰਕੀਤ੍ਰੀਯਕੋਸੁਛਕੇਤਿਨਕੇਰਸਮੈਜੀਯਆਈ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
“He has fallen in passionate love with the women of Matura, on seeing them
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਲਯੋਕੁਬਜਾਬਸਿਕੈਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੧॥
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਨੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੧॥
Krishna has been tamed by Kubja and in such a state no pain has arisen in the heart of that butcher.911.
ਸੇਜਬਨੀਸੰਗਿਫੂਲਨਸੁੰਦਰਚਾਦਨੀਰਾਤਿਭਲੀਛਬਿਪਾਈ॥
(ਮੇਰੀ) ਸੇਜ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਂਦਨੀ ਰਾਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
“The bed of flowers is looking splendid in the moonlit night
ਸੇਤਬਹੇਜਮੁਨਾਪਟਹੈਸਿਤਮੋਤਿਨਹਾਰਗਰੈਛਬਿਛਾਈ॥
ਸਵੱਛ (ਜਲ ਵਾਲੀ) ਜਮਨਾ ਵਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਫੈਦ ਹੀ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ (ਸਫ਼ੈਦ) ਮੋਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਰ ਨੇ ਗਲੇ ਦੀ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਵਧਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
The current of the whilte Yamuna appears like a beautiful raiment and the particles of sand appear like the necklace of gems
ਮੈਨਚੜਿਯੋਸਰਲੈਬਰਕੈਬਧਬੋਹਮਕੋਬਿਨੁਜਾਨਿਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ॥
ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ।
