ਸੋਊਲਯੋਕੁਬਿਜਾਬਸਕੈਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੨॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੨॥
In doing this, there was no pang in her heart and no pain arose in the heart of that butcher.912.
ਰਾਤਿਬਨੀਘਨਕੀਅਤਿਸੁੰਦਰਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੀਗਾਰਭਲੀਛਬਿਪਾਈ॥
(ਇਕ ਵਾਰ) ਬੜੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਾਲੀ ਰਾਤ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਸ਼ਿੰਗਾਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਛਬੀ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਹੈਜਮੁਨਾਤਰਏਇਹਜਾਬਿਨੁਕੋਨਹੀਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਹਾਈ॥
ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਮੁਨਾ ਦਾ ਕਾਲਾ (ਜਲ) ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
“The embellishment of the thundering night is looking splendid, the river Yamuna of black colour is flowing, and for whom there is not helper other than Krishna,”
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਹਿਮੈਨਲਗਿਯੋਦੁਖਦੇਵਨਐਸੇਕਹਿਯੋਬ੍ਰਿਖਭਾਨਹਿਜਾਈ॥
ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਮਦੇਵ ਦੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਲਗਿਆ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਧਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ,

ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਬਜਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਕਸਕ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੩॥
In doing so no pang arose in her heart and no pain arose in the heart of that butcher.913.
ਫੂਲਿਰਹੇਸਿਗਰੇਬ੍ਰਿਜਕੇਤਰੁਫੂਲਲਤਾਤਿਨਸੋਲਪਟਾਈ॥
ਬ੍ਰਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛਾਂ (ਉਤੇ ਫੁਲ) ਖਿੜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੇਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਪਟ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
In the country of Braja all the trees are loaded with flowers and the creepers are entwined with them
ਫੂਲਿਰਹੇਸਰਿਸਾਰਸਸੁੰਦਰਸੋਭਸਮੂਹਬਢੀਅਧਿਕਾਈ॥
ਸਰੋਵਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਫੁਲ ਖਿੜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।

The beautiful month of Chaitra has begun, in which the voice of the wanton nightingale is being heard
ਦਾਸੀਕੇਸੰਗਿਰਹਿਯੋਗਹਿਹੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਦਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਕਸਕ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੪॥
But all this does not seem charming without Krishna, living with his servent no pang arose in the heart of that Krishna and no pain arose in the heart o
ਬਾਸਸੁਬਾਸਅਕਾਸਮਿਲੀਅਰੁਬਾਸਤਭੂਮਿਮਹਾਛਬਿਪਾਈ॥
(ਸੁੰਦਰ) ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤਕ ਪਸਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਵਸਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਛਬੀ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
The fine odour spread upto the sky and the whole earth appeared glorious
ਸੀਤਲਮੰਦਸੁਗੰਧਿਸਮੀਰਬਹੈਮਕਰੰਦਨਿਸੰਕਮਿਲਾਈ॥
ਠੰਡੀ, ਹੌਲੀ ਚਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਹਵਾ ਚਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ (ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚ) ਮਿਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

ਮਾਲਿਨਲੈਬਕਰੋਰਸਕੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੫॥
(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਮਾਲਣ ਨੇ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਚੋਭ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੫॥

ਨੀਰਸਮੀਰਹੁਤਾਸਨਕੇਸਮਅਉਰਅਕਾਸਧਰਾਤਪਤਾਈ॥
ਜਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ (ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ) ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੀ ਤਪ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
The water and wind appear like fire and the earth and sky are blazing
ਪੰਥਨਪੰਥੀਚਲੈਕੋਊਓਤਰੁਤਾਕਿਤਰੈਤਨਤਾਪਸਿਰਾਈ॥
ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੁਸਾਫਰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੁਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਨ ਦੇ ਤਾਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੰਛੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਛਾਂ ਵਲ ਤਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
There is no traveler moving on the path and seeing the trees, the passengers are pacifying their burning sensation
ਜੇਠਮਹਾਬਲਵੰਤਭਯੋਅਤਿਬਿਆਕੁਲਜੀਯਮਹਾਰਤਿਪਾਈ॥
ਜੇਠ (ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ) ਬਹੁਤ ਕਠੋਰ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਇਸ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The month of Jeth is extremely hot and the mind of everyone is getting perturbed
ਐਸੇਸਕ੍ਯੋਧਸਕ੍ਯੋਸਸਕ੍ਯੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੬॥
ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵੇਲੇ (ਹਿਰਦਾ) ਧੜਕ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਕਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਔਖਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਚੋਭ ਲਗੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੬॥
In such a season, the mind of that indifferent Krishna neither gets deviated nor there arises any pain in it.916.
ਪਉਨਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਬਹੈਅਤਿਤਾਪਤਚੰਚਲਚਿਤਿਦਸੋਦਿਸਧਾਈ॥
(ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ) ਸਾੜਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਹਵਾ ਚਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਚਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਿਤ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਲ ਭਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The wind is blowing with fierce speed and the mercurial mind being agitated is running in all the four directions
ਬੈਸਅਵਾਸਰਹੈਨਰਨਾਰਿਬਿਹੰਗਮਵਾਰਿਸੁਛਾਹਤਕਾਈ॥
(ਸਾਰੇ) ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੈਠ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਛੀ ਜਲ ('ਵਾਰਿ') ਅਤੇ ਛਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
All the men and women are in their homes and all the birds are getting the protection of the trees
ਦੇਖਿਅਸਾੜਨਈਰਿਤਦਾਦੁਰਮੋਰਨਹੂੰਘਨਘੋਰਲਗਾਈ॥
ਹਾੜ (ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ) ਨਵੀਂ ਰੁਤ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬਰਖਾ ਦੀ ਆਮਦ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਡਡੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਘਨਘੋਰ (ਧੁਨ) ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
In this season of Asarh the loud sounds of frogs and peacocks are being heard
ਗਾਢਪਰੀਬਿਰਹੀਜਨਕੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੭॥
(ਇਸ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਚ) ਵਿਛੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰੀ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਚੋਭ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੭॥
In such an atmosphere, the persons experiencing the pangs of separation are highly worried, but that indifferent Krishna is not showing mercy and no pang has arisen in his mind
ਤਾਲਭਰੇਜਲਪੂਰਨਸੋਅਰੁਸਿੰਧੁਮਿਲੀਸਰਿਤਾਸਭਜਾਈ॥
ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਤੈਸੇਘਟਾਨਿਛਟਾਨਿਮਿਲੀਅਤਿਹੀਪਪੀਹਾਪੀਯਟੇਰਲਗਾਈ॥
ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਪੀਹਾ ਵੀ ਪੀਉ ਪੀਉ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਕਢ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
The clouds are causing the splash of rain and the rain-bird has begun to utter his own music
ਸਾਵਨਮਾਹਿਲਗਿਓਬਰਸਾਵਨਭਾਵਨਨਾਹਿਹਹਾਘਰਿਮਾਈ॥
ਸਾਵਣ (ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ) (ਬਦਲ) ਮੀਂਹ ਵਸਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਲਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਹੇ ਮਾਈ! ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
O mother! the month of Sawan has arrived, but that captivating Krishna is not in my home
ਲਾਗਰਹਿਯੋਪੁਰਭਾਮਿਨਸੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੮॥
ਨਗਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਲਗਾ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਪਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੮॥
That Krishna is roaming with the women in the city and in doing so, the pain is not arising in the heart of that indifferent and merciless person.918.
ਭਾਦਵਮਾਹਿਚੜਿਯੋਬਿਨੁਨਾਹਦਸੋਦਿਸਮਾਹਿਘਟਾਘਰਹਾਈ॥
ਭਾਦਰੋਂ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ (ਪਾਸ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਾਲੀ ਘਟਾ ਗਰਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
My Lord is not here and the month of Bhadon has begun
ਦ੍ਯੋਸਨਿਸਾਨਹਿਜਾਨਪਰੈਤਮਬਿਜੁਛਟਾਰਵਿਕੀਛਬਿਪਾਈ॥
(ਬਦਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਤਨਾ) ਹਨੇਰਾ (ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਰਾਤ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਨਿਖੇੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਵਿਚ) ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਲਿਸ਼ਕ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਵਰਗੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
The clouds are gathering in from all the ten directions, no difference appears between day and night and in the darkness the lightning is flashing like the sun
ਮੂਸਲਧਾਰਛੁਟੈਨਭਿਤੇਅਵਨੀਸਗਰੀਜਲਪੂਰਨਿਛਾਈ॥
ਮੋਹਲੇ ਜਿੰਨੀ (ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ) ਧਾਰ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਜਲ ਹੀ ਜਲ ਪਸਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
It is raining cats and dogs from the sky and the water has spread over all the earth
ਐਸੇਸਮੇਤਜਿਗਯੋਹਮਕੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੧੯॥
ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ (ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ) ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਦਿਲ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੯੧੯॥
In such a time that merciless Krishna has left us and no pain has arisen in his heart.919.
ਮਾਸਕੁਆਰਚਢਿਯੋਬਲੁਧਾਰਿਪੁਕਾਰਰਹੀਨਮਿਲੇਸੁਖਦਾਈ॥
ਅਸੂ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਮੈਂ) ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ (ਪਰ ਅਜੇ) ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।
The powerful month of Kuaar (Asuj) has begun and that comfort-giving Krishna has not met us even now
ਸੇਤਘਟਾਅਰੁਰਾਤਿਤਟਾਸਰਤੁੰਗਅਟਾਸਿਮਕੈਦਰਸਾਈ॥
ਸਫ਼ੈਦ (ਬਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਘਟਾਵਾਂ (ਚੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ) ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ (ਬਿਜਲੀ) ਚਮਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਅਤੇ (ਪਰਬਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ) ਅਟਾਰੀਆਂ ਚਮਕਦੀਆਂ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The white clouds, the brilliance of night and mansions like mountains are being seen
ਨੀਰਬਿਹੀਨਫਿਰੈਨਭਿਛੀਨਸੁਦੇਖਿਅਧੀਨਭਯੋਹੀਯਰਾਈ॥
ਜਲ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਣੇ (ਹੋ ਚੁਕੇ ਬਦਲ) ਨਿਰਬਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਹਿਰਦਾ ਅਧੀਰ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
These clouds are moving waterless in the sky and seeing them our heart has become more impatient
ਪ੍ਰੇਮਤਕੀਤਿਨਸੋਬਿਥਕ੍ਰਯੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੨੦॥
(ਜਿਸ ਦੇ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਥ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ (ਚੋਭ) ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੨੦॥
We are absorbed in love, but we are removed far away from that Krishna and there is no pang of any type in the heart of that merciless butcher.920.
ਕਾਤਿਕਮੈਗੁਨਿਦੀਪਪ੍ਰਕਾਸਿਤਤੈਸੇਅਕਾਸਮੈਉਜਲਤਾਈ॥
ਕਤਕ (ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ) ਵਿਚ (ਜਿਵੇਂ) ਬੱਤੀ ('ਗੁਨਿ') ਨਾਲ ਦੀਪਕ ਜਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
In the month of Kartik, there is brightness in the sky like the light of the lamp
ਜੂਪਜਹਾਤਹਫੈਲਰਹਿਯੋਸਿਗਰੇਨਰਨਾਰਿਨਖੇਲਮਚਾਈ॥
ਇਥੇ ਉਥੇ ਜੂਏ ('ਜੂਪ') ਦੀ ਖੇਡ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨਰ ਨਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਡ ਮਚਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
The intoxicated groups are scattered in the play of men and women here and there
ਚਿਤ੍ਰਭਏਘਰਆਂਙਨਦੇਖਿਗਚੇਤਹਕੇਅਰੁਚਿਤਭ੍ਰਮਾਈ॥
(ਚੂਨੇ) ਗਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਘਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਚਿਤਰ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵੀ (ਸਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ) (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਚਿਤ ਭਰਮਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Seeing the house and courtyard all are being allured like the portraits
ਆਯੋਨਹੀਮਨਭਾਯੋਤਹੀਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੨੧॥
(ਅਜ ਤਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ) ਆਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਮਨ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਮ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਪਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੨੧॥
That Krishna has not come and his mind has been absorbed somewhere therein, in doing so, there has not been even a little suffering in the mind of that merciless Krishna.921.
ਬਾਰਿਜਫੂਲਿਰਹੇਸਰਿਪੁੰਜਸੁਗੰਧਸਨੇਸਰਿਤਾਨਘਟਾਈ॥
ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਸਰੋਵਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਫੁਲ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ (ਫੈਲਾ) ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਘਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The mass of lotus in the tank are spreading their fragrance
ਕੁੰਜਤਕੰਤਬਿਨਾਕੁਲਹੰਸਕਲੇਸਬਢੈਸੁਨਿਕੈਤਿਹਮਾਈ॥
ਹੰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੂੰ ਕੂੰ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਕੰਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੁਣ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਹੇ ਮਾਤਾ! ਮਨ ਦਾ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
All other birds except the swan are playing and hearing their sound, the affiction increases in the mind still further
ਬਾਸੁਰਰੈਨਿਨਚੈਨਕਹੂੰਛਿਨਮੰਘਰਮਾਸਿਅਯੋਨਕਨ੍ਰਹਾਈ॥
ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ (ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸੇ) ਛਿਣ ਵੀ ਚੈਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਮਘਰ ਦਾ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕਨ੍ਹਈਆ ਨਹੀਂ (ਆਇਆ)।
Krishna has not come even in the month of Maghar, therefore there is no comfort during the day and during the night
ਜਾਤਨਹੀਤਿਨਸੋਮਸਕ੍ਰਯੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੨੨॥
ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ (ਪ੍ਰੀਤ) ਤੋੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ, (ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਕਸਕ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੨੨॥
There is no peace in the mind without him, but no pang arise in the heart of that indifferent Krishna and no pain emerges.922.
ਭੂਮਿਅਕਾਸਅਵਾਸਸੁਬਾਸੁਉਦਾਸਿਬਢੀਅਤਿਸੀਤਲਤਾਈ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ (ਵਿਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਣੇ) ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਠੰਡ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਛਾ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
There is atmosphere of sadness in the earth, the sky and the home and courtyard
ਕੂਲਦੁਕੂਲਤੇਸੂਲਉਠੈਸਭਤੇਲਤਮੋਲਲਗੈਦੁਖਦਾਈ॥
(ਸਰੋਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ) ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ (ਰੇਸ਼ਮੀ) ਬਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਨ ਦੇ ਬੀੜੇ ਦੁਖਦਾਇਕ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ।
The agonising pain like that of the thorn is rising at the bank of the river and at other places and the oil and the wedding present are all appearing painful
ਪੋਖਸੰਤੋਖਨਹੋਤਕਛੂਤਨਸੋਖਤਜਿਉਕੁਮਦੀਮੁਰਝਾਈ॥
ਪੋਹ (ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ) ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਸੰਤੋਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਸੁਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ (ਠੰਡੀ ਹਵਾ ਨਾਲ) ਕੰਮੀਆਂ ਕੁਮਲਾ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Just as the lily withers away in the month of Poh, in the same manner our body has withered
ਲੋਭਿਰਹਿਯੋਉਨਪ੍ਰੇਮਗਹਿਯੋਟਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਹੀਯੋਕਸਕ੍ਯੋਨਕਸਾਈ॥੯੨੩॥
(ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਲੁਭਾਇਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰਨਾਂ) ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਿਚ ਜਕੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦਾ) ਨਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਦੁਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ (ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ) ਪੀੜ ਦੀ ਖਿਚ ਪਈ ਹੈ ॥੯੨੩॥
That Krishna has exhibited his love there under some temptation and in doing so, no pang or pain has arisen in his heart.923.
ਮਾਹਿਮੈਨਾਹਨਹੀਘਰਿਮਾਹਿਸੁਦਾਹਕਰੈਰਵਿਜੋਤਿਦਿਖਾਈ॥
ਮਾਘ (ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ) ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਵੀ ਸਾੜਦੀ ਹੈ।
My beloved is not in my home, therefore the sun, exhibiting his effulgence, wants to burn me
ਜਾਨੀਨਜਾਤਬਿਲਾਤਤਦ੍ਰਯੋਸਨਰੈਨਿਕੀਬ੍ਰਿਧਭਈਅਧਿਕਾਈ॥
ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਰਨਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
The day passes away unknowingly and there is more impact of the night
ਕੋਕਿਲਦੇਖਿਕਪੋਤਿਸਿਲੀਮੁਖਕੂੰਜਤਏਸੁਨਿਕੈਡਰਪਾਈ॥
ਕੋਇਲਾਂ, ਕਬੂਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੌਰਿਆਂ ('ਸਿਲੀਮੁਖ') ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਡਰ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।
