ਹਰਿਰੂਪਨਿਹਾਰਿਮਨੇਸੁਖਪਾਇਕੈਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੀਸੇਵਸੁਕੀਨੀ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ (ਅਕਰੂਰ ਨੇ) ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
Akrur was highly pleased on seeing the face of Krishna and he absorbed himself in selfless service of Krishna
ਪਾਇਪਰੋਤਾਹਿਕੇਬਹੁਰੇਉਠਿਦੇਵਕੀਲਾਲਿਪਰਿਕ੍ਰਮਾਦੀਨੀ॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਕੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਰਮਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
He touched the feet of Krishna and circumambulated around him
ਭੋਜਨਅੰਨਜਿਤੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਥੋਸੋਊਆਨਿਧਰੋਹਿਤਬਾਤਲਖੀਨੀ॥
ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਨ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ, ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਦੀ ਰੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ, ਅਗੇ ਆ ਰਖਿਆ।
Having been absorbed in great affection, whatever food and victuals etc. were there in the house, he brought them all before Krishna
ਥੋਮਨਮੋਸੋਊਬਾਛਤਇਛਵਹੈਜਸੁਧਾਸੁਤਪੂਰਨਕੀਤੀ॥੯੯੭॥
ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਜੋ ਚਾਹਨਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਇੱਛਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ॥੯੯੭॥
Whatever desire Akrur had in his mind, Krishna, the son of Yashoda fulfilled it.997.
ਪੂਰਨਕੈਮਨਸਾਤਿਹਕੀਸੰਗਿਊਧਵਲੈਫਿਰਿਧਾਮਿਅਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਨਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਊਧਵ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਏ।
Fulfilling the desire of Akrur and taking Udhava alongwith him, Krishna returned to his home
ਗ੍ਰਿਹਆਇਕੈਮੰਗਨਲੋਗਬੁਲਾਇਗਵਾਵਤਭਯੋਤਿਹਰਾਗਗਯੋ॥
ਘਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗਵੈਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਵਾਉਣ ਲਗਾ।
On coming home the medicants were called and getting pleased various types of alms were given to them in charity
ਤਿਨਊਪਰਰੀਝਿਕਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਘਨੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਤੇਕਢਿਦਾਨਦਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਰੀਝ ਕੇ, ਘਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਮਨੋਤਾਜਸਤੇਮ੍ਰਿਤਮੰਡਲਮੈਅਬਕੇਦਿਨਲਉਦਿਨਸੇਤਭਯੋ॥੯੯੮॥
(ਇੰਜ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਉਸ (ਦਿਨ ਗਾਏ ਗਏ) ਯਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਤ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਦਿਨ ਸਫ਼ੈਦ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੯੯੮॥
By this act, there was so much approbation of Krishna, the poet Shyam says that with this praise even uptil this day, the daytime appears white in the sphere of death.998.
ਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਸਿਆਮਕੇਧਾਮਹਿਆਇਕੈਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੇਪਾਇਨਲਾਗਿਓ॥
ਅਕਰੂਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਦੁਬੀਰ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪਿਆ।
Akrur came to the palace of Krishna and fell at his feet
ਕੰਸਬਿਦਾਰਿਬਕੀਉਰਿਫਾਰਿਕਹਿਯੋਕਰਤਾਰਸਰਾਹਨਲਾਗਿਓ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਕੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਕੀ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ (ਗੱਲ) ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਗਿਆ।
He began to praise Krishna, the killer of Kansa and Bakasura
ਅਉਰਗਈਸੁਧਿਭੂਲਸਭੈਹਰਿਕੀਉਪਮਾਰਸਭੀਤਰਪਾਗਿਓ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਹੋਸ਼ ਭੁਲ ਗਈ, (ਬਸ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਆਨੰਦਬੀਚਬਢਿਯੋਮਨਕੇਮਨਕੋਦੁਖਥੋਜਿਤਨੋਸਭਭਾਗਿਓ॥੯੯੯॥
(ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਦੁਖ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੯੯੯॥
Absorbed in such a praise he forgot his own consciousness, all his sufferings ended and the happiness was increased in his mind.999.
ਦੇਵਕੀਲਾਲਗੁਪਾਲਅਹੋਨੰਦਲਾਲਦਿਆਲਇਹੈਜੀਯਧਾਰਿਓ॥
ਹੇ ਦੇਵਕੀ ਲਾਲ! ਹੇ ਗੋਪਾਲ! ਹੇ ਦਿਆਲ! ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ (ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰਨੀ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਰ ਲਈ।
This Krishna is the son of Devaki who also graciously became the son of Nand
ਕੰਸਬਿਦਾਰਿਬਕੀਉਰਫਾਰਿਕਹਿਯੋਕਰਤਾਜਦੁਬੀਰਉਚਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ) ਕੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਬਕੀ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਪਾੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ।
He had killed Kansa and also had torn asunder the heart of Bakasura, he is known as the hero of Yadavas
ਹੇਅਘਕੇਰਿਪੁਹੇਰਿਪੁਕੇਸੀਕੇਹੇਕੁਪਿਜਾਹਿਤ੍ਰਿਨਾਵ੍ਰਤਿਮਾਰਿਓ॥
ਹੇ ਅਘ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ! ਹੇ ਕੇਸੀ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ, ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਣਾਵਰਤ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ!
O Krishna! the killer of Keshi, the destroyer of all the sins and the killer also of Trinavrata
ਤਾਅਬਰੂਪਦਿਖਾਇਹਮੈਹਮਰੋਸਭਪਾਪਬਿਦਾਕਰਿਡਾਰਿਓ॥੧੦੦੦॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਨੂੰ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਰੂਪ ਵਿਖਾ ਕੇ, ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੦੦॥
Showing your face to me, you have destroyed all my sins.”1000.
ਚੋਰਹੈਸਾਧਨਕੇਦੁਖਕੋਸੁਖਕੋਬਰੁਦਾਇਕਸ੍ਯਾਮਉਚਾਰਿਓ॥
ਹੇ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ! ਤੂੰ ਚੋਰ ਹੈਂ (ਪਰ) ਸਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ (ਨੂੰ ਚੁਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਦਾ ਵਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਹੈਠਗਗ੍ਵਾਰਨਿਚੀਰਨਕੋਭਟਹੈਜਿਨਿਕੰਸਸੋਬੀਰਪਛਾਰਿਓ॥
ਤੂੰ ਠਗ ਹੈਂ, ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ (ਨੂੰ ਠਗਦਾ ਹੈਂ) (ਤੂੰ) ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੰਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
Krishna is said to be the mighty and powerful, the destroyer of the sufferings of the saints, the giver of peace and comforts, the Thug, who stole the garments of the gopis and the overthrower of the warriors of Kansa
ਕਾਇਰਹੈਬਹੁਪਾਪਨਤੇਅਰੁਬੈਦਹੈਜਾਸਭਲੋਗਜੀਯਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਕਾਇਰ ਹੈਂ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਪਾਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ (ਡਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ) ਅਤੇ (ਤੂੰ) ਵੈਦ ਵੀ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਿਤ ਰਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
He stays away from the sins and the savious of the people from all types of ailments
ਪੰਡਿਤਹੈਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਜਿਨਿਚਾਰੋਈਬੇਦੁਕੋਭੇਦਸਵਾਰਿਓ॥੧੦੦੧॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਤੂੰ ਹੀ) ਪੰਡਿਤ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੇਦ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੦੧॥
The poet Shyam says that the same Krishna is the Supreme Pundit who describes the mysteries of the four Vedas 1001.
ਯੌਕਹਿਕੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੇਸੋਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਉਠਿਪਾਇਪਰਿਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪੈਰੀਂ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ।
Saying thus, Akrur fell at the feet of Krishna
ਹਰਿਕੀਬਹੁਬਾਰਸਰਾਹਕਰੀਦੁਖਥੋਜਿਤਨੋਛਿਨਬੀਚਹਰਿਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਵੀ ਦੁਖ ਸੀ, ਛਿਣ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
He eulogised him repeatedly and all his sufferings ended in an instant
ਅਰੁਤਾਛਬਿਕੇਜਸੁਉਚਮਹਾਕਬਿਨੇਬਿਧਿਯਾਮੁਖਤੇਉਚਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਅਤੇ) ਉਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਹਰਿਨਾਮੁਸੰਜੋਅਕਉਪੈਨ੍ਰਹਿਤਨੈਸਭਪਾਪਨਸੰਗਿਲਰਿਯੋਨਟਰਿਯੋ॥੧੦੦੨॥
(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮਾਨੋ) ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਵਚ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਪਹਿਨ ਕੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਿਆ, ਪਰ ਪਿਛੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਹਟਿਆ ॥੧੦੦੨॥
The poet has described the beauty of this spectacle like this that Akrur became subtle by wearing the armour of the name of the Lord in order to fight fearlessly against the evils.1002.
ਫਿਰਿਯੌਕਰਿਕਾਨਰਕੀਉਪਮਾਹਰਿਜੀਤੁਮਹੀਮੁਰਸਤ੍ਰਪਛਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਫਿਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ 'ਮੁਰ' (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾੜਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਤੈਹੀਮਰੇਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰਾਰਿਕਮਧਸੁਰਾਵਨਮਾਰਿਘਨੋਰਨਪਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ 'ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰਾਰ' ਅਤੇ 'ਕਮੱਧ' ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਘਮਸਾਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਰਚਿਆ ਸੀ।
Then he eulogised Krishna and said, “O Lord (Krishna)! you had killed the demon Mur and killed Kabandh and Ravana etc. in the dreadful war
ਲੰਕਦਈਅਰਿਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਕਉਸੀਅਕੋਸੰਗਿਲੈਫਿਰਿਅਉਧਿਸਿਧਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਲੰਕਾ (ਦਾ ਰਾਜ) ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਅਯੋਧਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ।
“You gave the kingdom of Lanka to Vibhishana and you yourself went to Ayodhya along with Sita
ਤੈਹੀਚਰਿਤ੍ਰਕੀਏਸਭਹੀਹਮਜਾਨਤਹੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੦੦੩॥
ਤੂੰ ਹੀ (ਇਹ) ਸਾਰੇ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਤਦੇ ਹੀ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੦੩॥
I accept it without hesitation that you had yourself performed all these feats.1003.
ਹੇਕਮਲਾਪਤਿਹੇਗਰੁੜਧ੍ਵਜਹੇਜਗਨਾਇਕਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਿਕਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਹੇ ਲੱਛਮੀ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ! ਹੇ ਗਰੁੜ ਧੁਜਾ ਵਾਲੇ! ਹੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! (ਤੂੰ ਹੀ) ਕਾਨ੍ਹ (ਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
ਹੇਜਦੁਬੀਰਕਹੋਬਤੀਯਾਸਭਹੀਤੁਮਰੀਭ੍ਰਿਤਲੋਕਭਯੋਹੈ॥
ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! (ਮੈਂ ਇਕ) ਗੱਲ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਬਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
“O Banner of Garuda! O Sire of Lakshmi! and the Lord of the world! listen to me, Thou art the support of the whole world,”
ਮੇਰੀਹਰੋਮਮਤਾਹਰਿਜੂਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਹਰਿਚੀਨਲਯੋਹੈ॥
ਹੇ ਹਰਿ ਜੀ! ਮੇਰੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਲਵੋ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਂਪ ਲਿਆ।
ਡਾਰਿਦਈਮਮਤਾਤਿਹਪੈਸੋਊਮੋਨਹਿਧਾਰਕੈਬੈਠਿਰਹਿਯੋਹੈ॥੧੦੦੪॥
(ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ) ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਮਮਤਾ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੌਨ ਧਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੈਠ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੦੪॥
Krishna anticipated that Akruru wanted to say something about his deliverance from the attachment and mineness, therefore he effected Akrur’s mineness by granting him the boon through the mind and he himself kept sitting silently.1004.
ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਜੂਬਾਚਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਸੋ॥

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ, ਹੇ ਚਾਚਾ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਮਝੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ 'ਹਰਿ' ਸਮਝ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
“O uncle! without comprehending me, you have seen me as the manifestation of the Lord
ਤਾਤੇਲਡਾਵਹੁਮੋਹਿਕਹਿਯੋਜਿਹਤੇਸੁਖਹੋਅਤਿਹੀਮੁਹਿਜੀਨੋ॥
ਤਾਂ ਤੇ (ਤੁਸੀ) ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਡ (ਦੀ ਗੱਲ) ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ (ਉਹੀ) ਕਹੋ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਵੇ।
Give me the comfort, so that my life may become comfortable
ਆਇਸਮੋਬਸੁਦੇਵਹਜੀਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਬਡੇਲਖਊਕਰਕੀਨੋ॥
ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਸੁਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਕਰੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਨਾ (ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਲਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ)
“After Vasudev, you will be considered as the seniormost
ਤਾਤੇਨਮੋਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਲਖੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਕਹਿਯੋਹਰਿਜੂਹਸਿਦੀਨੋ॥੧੦੦੫॥

I bow before you,” saying thus Krishna smiled.1005.
ਸੋਸੁਨਿਬੀਰਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਭਯੋਮੁਸਲੀਧਰਸ੍ਯਾਮਜੂਕੰਠਿਲਗਾਏ॥
ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ (ਅਕਰੂਰ) ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਾ ਲਿਆ।
Hearing these words, Akrur was pleased and he hugged both Krishna and Balram
ਸੋਕਜਿਤੇਮਨਭੀਤਰਥੇਹਰਿਕੋਤਨਭੇਟਿਸਭੈਬਿਸਰਾਏ॥
ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਦੁਖ ਸਨ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਹ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭੁਲ ਗਏ।
He forsook the sorrow of his mind,
ਛੋਟਭਤੀਜਲਖੇਕਰਿਕੈਕਰਿਕੈਜਗਕੇਕਰਤਾਨਹੀਪਾਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਛੋਟੇ ਭਤੀਜੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਿਆ।
ਯਾਬਿਧਿਭੀਤਿਹਠਉਰਕਥਾਤਿਹਕੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਹਿਮੰਗਲਗਾਏ॥੧੦੦੬॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਹੋਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ (ਯਸ਼ ਦੇ) ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਲ ਗਾਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੦੦੬॥
And considered the small nephews as merely nephews and not the creator of the world. In this way, this story happened there, which has ben sung by the poet Shyam in praise of Krishna.1006.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੇ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ (ਅਕਰੂਰ)! ਹਸਤਨਾਪੁਰ ('ਗਜਾਪੁਰ') ਵਿਚ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਓ।
ਮੋਪਿਤਕੀਭਗਨੀਸੁਤਹੈਤਿਨਕੋਅਬਜਾਇਕੈਸੋਧਹਿਲਇਯੈ॥
ਉਥੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਦੇ) ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਹੁਣ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਸਾਰ ਲਿਆਓ।
Krishna said smilintly to Akrur, “You go to Hastinapur in order to enquire about the condition of the sons of my father’s sister
ਅੰਧਤਹਾਨ੍ਰਿਪਹੈਮਨਅੰਧਦ੍ਰਜੋਧਨਭਯੋਬਸਿਤਾਕੋਲਖਈਯੈ॥
ਉਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ (ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਪਰ ਉਹ) ਮਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ) ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਵਸ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
