ਸੁਨਿਸੰਕਤਬੈਰਨਬੀਚਪਰਿਯੋਅਰਿਕੋਬਰਕੈਹਨਿਸੈਨਦਯੋ॥
ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਦ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Krishna again took his bow and arrows in his hand and destroyed the enemy’s army in the battlefield
ਧਨੁਸੋਜਿਮਤੂਲਿਧੁਨੈਧੁਨੀਯਾਦਲਤ੍ਰਯੋਸਿਤਬਾਨਨਸੋਧੁਨਿਯੋ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੇਂਜਾ ਧੁਨਖੀ ('ਧਨੁ') ਨਾਲ ਰੂੰ ਪਿੰਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਤਿਖੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ) ਪਿੰਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Just as the carder of cotton cards it, in the same manner Krishna carded the enemy’s army
ਬਹੁਸ੍ਰਉਨਪ੍ਰਵਾਹਬਹਿਯੋਰਨਮੈਤਿਹਠਾਮਨੋਆਠਵੋਸਿੰਧੁਭਯੋ॥੧੦੬੩॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਹੂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਚਲ ਪਿਆ। (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੦੬੩॥
The stream of blood swelled in the battlefield like the eighth ocean.1063.
ਇਤਤੇਹਰਿਕੀਉਮਡੀਪ੍ਰਤਨਾਉਤਤੇਉਮਡਿਯੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਲੈਬਲਸੰਗਾ॥
ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜਾ (ਜਰਾਸੰਧ) ਦਲ-ਬਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।
On this side the army of Krishna marched forward and on the other side the king Jarasandh moved forward alongwith his forces
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਲੈਪਾਨਿਭਿਰੇਕਟਿਗੇਭਟਿਅੰਗਪ੍ਰਤੰਗਾ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਤਲਵਾਰ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਪ੍ਰਤਿ-ਅੰਗ ਕਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
The warriors fought taking bow and arrows and swords in their hands and their limbs were being chopped
ਪਤਿਗਿਰੇਗਜਿਬਾਜਕਹੂੰਕਹੂੰਬੀਰਗਿਰੇਤਿਨਕੇਕਹੂੰਅੰਗਾ॥
ਕਿਧਰੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਡਿਗੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਧਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ (ਅਤੇ ਕਿਧਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਅੰਗ ਡਿਗੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the lords of elephants and horses fell and somewhere the limbs of warriors began to fall
ਐਸੇਗਏਮਿਲਿਆਪਸਿਮੈਦਲਜੈਸੇਮਿਲੇਜਮੁਨਾਅਰੁਗੰਗਾ॥੧੦੬੪॥
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਇੰਜ ਮਿਲ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਮਨਾ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੦੬੪॥
Both the armies were locked in a close combat like the merger into one by the Ganges and Yamuna.1064.
ਸ੍ਵਾਮਿਕੇਕਾਜਕਉਲਾਜਭਰੇਦੁਹੂੰਓਰਨਤੇਭਟਯੌਉਮਗੇਹੈ॥
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਉਤਸਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
In order to fulfil the task assigned to them by their masters, the warriors of both the sides are enthusiastically moving forward
ਜੁਧੁਕਰਿਯੋਰਨਕੋਪਿਦੁਹੂੰਰਸਰੁਦ੍ਰਹੀਕੇਪੁਨਿਸੰਗਪਗੇਹੈ॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੌਦਰ ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਰਾਬੋਰ ਹਨ।
From both the sides, the warriors dyed with ire are ferociously waging war,
ਜੂਝਿਪਰੇਸਮੁਹੇਲਰਿਕੈਰਨਕੀਛਿਤਤੇਨਹੀਪੈਗਭਗੇਹੈ॥
ਆਹਮੋ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟੇ ਹਨ।
And confronting one another are fighting unhesitatingly
ਉਜਲਗਾਤਮੈਸਾਗਲਗੀਮਨੋਚੰਦਨਰੂਖਮੈਨਾਗਲਗੇਹੈ॥੧੦੬੫॥
ਉਜਲੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਰਛੀ ਲਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, (ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਗ ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੦੬੫॥
The spears piercing the white bodies appear like the serpents entwining the sandalwood tree.1065.
ਜੁਧੁਕਰਿਯੋਰਿਸਆਪਸਿਮੈਦੁਹੂੰਓਰਨਤੇਨਹੀਕੋਊਟਰੇ॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਧਿਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਿਆ ਹੈ।
From both sides, the warriors fought bravely with great anger and none of them retraced his steps
ਬਰਛੀਗਹਿਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਗਦਾਅਸਿਲੈਕਰਮੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਟਰੇ॥
ਬਰਛੀ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ, ਬਾਨ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਗਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੜੇ ਹਨ;
They are fighting quite nicely with spears, bows, arrows, maces, swords etc, someone is falling down while fighting,
ਕੋਊਜੂਝਿਗਿਰੇਕੋਊਰੀਝਿਭਿਰੇਛਿਤਿਦੇਖਿਡਰੇਕੋਊਧਾਇਪਰੇ॥
ਕੋਈ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ (ਦੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਡਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਧਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Someone is getting pleased, someone seems frightened by viewing the battlefield and someone is running
ਮਨਿਯੌਉਪਜੀਉਪਮਾਰਨਦੀਪਕੇਊਪਰਆਇਪਤੰਗਜਰੇ॥੧੦੬੬॥
ਰਣ ਦੇ (ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕਵੀ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਰਣ ਰੂਪ ਦੀਪਕ ਉਪਰ (ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਰੂਪ) ਪਤੰਗ ਆ ਕੇ ਸੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੦੬੬॥
The poet says that it appears that the warriors like moths are getting burnt on the battlefield like the earthen lamp.1066.
ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮੇਸੰਗਿਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਭਿਰਿਯੋਬਰਛੀਬਰਲੈਪੁਨਿਭ੍ਰਾਤਮੁਰਾਰੀ॥
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ (ਬਲਰਾਮ) ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਬਰਛੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਲ (ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ)।
Balram fought earlier with bow and arrows and then he began the fight, taking his spear in his hand
ਫੇਰਿਲਰਿਯੋਅਸਿਲੈਕਰਮੈਧਸਕੈਰਿਪੁਕੀਬਹੁਸੈਨਸੰਘਾਰੀ॥
ਫਿਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਵੜ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
Then he took the sword in his hand, killed the warriors penetrating in the army,
ਫੇਰਿਗਦਾਗਹਿਕੈਸੁਹਤੇਬਹੁਰੋਜੁਹੁਤੇਗਹਿਪਾਨਿਕਟਾਰੀ॥
ਫਿਰ ਗਦਾ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ (ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਯੋਧੇ) ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਕਟਾਰ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
Then holding his dagger, he knocked down warriors with his mace
ਐਚਤਯੌਹਲਸੋਦਲਕੋਜਿਮਖੈਚਤਦੁਇਕਰਿਝੀਵਰਜਾਰੀ॥੧੦੬੭॥
(ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ) ਦਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਲ ਨਾਲ (ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਿਚ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਝੀਵਰ (ਨਦੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਜਾਲ ਖਿਚਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੬੭॥
Balram is pulling the enemy’s army with his plough like the palanquin-bearer making effort to putt the water with both the hands.1067.
ਜੋਭਟਸਾਮੁਹੇਆਇਅਰਿਯੋਬਰਕੈਹਰਿਜੂਸੋਊਮਾਰਿਗਿਰਾਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਵੈਰੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਅੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਲਾਜਭਰੇਜੋਊਜੋਰਿਭਿਰੇਤਿਨਤੇਕੋਊਜੀਵਤਜਾਨਨਪਾਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਲਾਜ ਦੇ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ।
Any warrior who came in front of him, Krishna knocked his down he, who getting shy of his weakness, fought with great force, he also could not survive
ਪੈਠਿਤਬੈਪ੍ਰਤਨਾਅਰਿਕੀਮਧਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਘਨੋਪੁਨਿਜੁਧੁਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਵੜ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਤਕੜਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ।
Penetrating into enemy’s forces, Krishna fought a violent battle
ਸ੍ਰੀਬਲਬੀਰਸੁਧੀਰਗਹਿਯੋਰਿਪੁਕੋਸਬਹੀਦਲੁਮਾਰਿਭਗਾਯੋ॥੧੦੬੮॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੦੬੮॥
Balram also fought with endurance and knocked down the enemy’s army.1068.

ਭਗੀਚਮੂੰਚਤੁਰੰਗਨੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿਨਿਹਾਰੀਨੈਨ॥
ਚਤੁਰੰਗਨੀ ਫੌਜ ਭਜੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਜਰਾਸੰਧ ਨੇ) ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Jarasandh himself saw his army of four divisions running away,
ਨਿਕਟਿਬਿਕਟਿਭਟਜੋਹੁਤੇਤਿਨਪ੍ਰਤਿਬੋਲਿਯੋਬੈਨ॥੧੦੬੯॥
(ਤਦ ਆਪਣੇ) ਨੇੜੇ ਜੋ ਕਰੜੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ ॥੧੦੬੯॥
He said to the warriors fighting near him,1069
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਜਰਾਸੰਧਿਬਾਚਸੈਨਾਪ੍ਰਤਿ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਜਰਾਸੰਧ ਨੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਜਿਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੈਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਵਲ ਜਾਓ।
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਗਦਾਕਰਿਲੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੋਦੇਹਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੋ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ, ਗਦਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕਰੋ।
“The side on which Krishna is fighting, you may all go there and strike blows to him with you bows, arrows, swords and maces
ਜਾਇਨਜੀਵਤਜਾਦਵਕੋਤਿਨਕੋਰਨਭੂਮਿਮੈਜਾਇਸੰਘਾਰੋ॥
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਯਾਦਵ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਓ।
“No Yadava be allowed to escape from the battlefield
ਯੌਜਬਬੈਨਕਹੈਨ੍ਰਿਪਸੈਨਚਲੀਚਤੁਰੰਗਜਹਾਰਨਭਾਰੋ॥੧੦੭੦॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ, (ਤਾਂ) ਸੈਨਾ (ਉਧਰ ਨੂੰ) ਚਲ ਪਈ ਜਿਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ॥੧੦੭੦॥
Kill all of them,” when Jarasandh said these words, then the army set itself in ranks and marched forward towards that side.1070.
ਆਇਸਪਾਵਤਹੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਕੋਘਨਜਿਉਉਮਡੇਭਟਓਘਘਟਾਘਟ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਮਿਲਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ, ਬਦਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਉਮਡ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਚਲੇ।
On receiving the command of the king, the warriors marched forward like clouds
ਬਾਨਨਬੂੰਦਨਜਿਉਬਰਖੇਚਪਲਾਅਸਿਕੀਧੁਨਿਹੋਤਸਟਾਸਟ॥
ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਵਰਖਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਚਮਕ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ। (ਤੀਰ ਚਲਣ ਦੀ) 'ਸਟਾਸਟ' (ਬਦਲ ਦੀ ਗਰਜ ਦੀ) ਧੁਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ।
The arrows were showered like rain-drops and the swords flashed like lighting
ਭੂਮਿਪਰੇਇਕਸਾਸਭਰੇਇਕਜੂਝਿਮਰੇਰਨਿਅੰਗਕਟਾਕਟ॥
ਇਕ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ; ਇਕ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਗ ਕਟਾ ਕੇ ਲੜ ਮਰੇ ਹਨ।
Someone has fallen a martyr on the earth, someone is heaving a long sigh and someone’s limb has been chopped
ਘਾਇਲਏਕਪਰੇਰਨਮੈਮੁਖਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਪੁਕਾਰਿਰਟਾਰਟ॥੧੦੭੧॥
ਇਕ ਘਾਇਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ 'ਮਾਰੋ ਮਾਰੋ' ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਟ ਲਗਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੭੧॥
Someine is lying wounded on the ground, but still he is shouting repeatedly “Kill, Kill”.1071.
ਜਦੁਬੀਰਸਰਾਸਨਲੈਕਰਿਮੈਰਿਪੁਬੀਰਜਿਤੇਰਨਮਾਝਿਸੰਘਾਰੇ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਸਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਹੈ।
Krishna took his bow and arrows in his hand, knocked down all the warriors present in the battlefield
ਮਤਿਕਰੀਬਰਬਾਜਹਨੇਰਥਕਾਟਿਰਥੀਬਿਰਥੀਕਰਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾ ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
He killed the intoxicated elephants and horses and deprived many charioteers of their chariots
ਘਾਇਲਦੇਖਕੈਕਾਇਰਜੇਡਰੁਮਾਨਿਰਨੇਛਿਤਿਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਸਿਧਾਰੇ॥
ਘਾਇਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਕਾਇਰ ਸਨ, (ਉਹ) ਡਰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Seeing the wounded warriors, the cowards left the battlefield and ran away
ਸ੍ਰੀਹਰਿਪੁੰਨਕੇਅਗ੍ਰਜਮਾਨਹੁਪਾਪਨਕੇਬਹੁਪੁੰਜਪਧਾਰੇ॥੧੦੭੨॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਰੂਪ ਪੁੰਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੦੭੨॥
They appeared like the collective sins running before the embodiment of virtues i.e. Krishna.1072.
ਸੀਸਕਟੇਕਿਤਨੇਰਨਮੈਮੁਖਤੇਤੇਊਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਪੁਕਾਰੈ॥
ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਰ ਕਟੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, (ਪਰ) ਉਹ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿਚੋਂ 'ਮਾਰੋ ਮਾਰੋ' ਹੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
All the heads that were chopped in the war, they are all shouting “kill, kill” from their mouths
ਦਉਰਤਬੀਚਕਬੰਧਫਿਰੈਜਹਸ੍ਯਾਮਲਰੈਤਿਹਓਰਿਪਧਾਰੈ॥
(ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ) ਧੜ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ) ਦੌੜੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਲੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਵਲ ਭਜੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
The headless trunks are running and moving forward to that side where Krishna is fighting
ਜੋਭਟਆਇਭਿਰੈਇਨਸੋਤਿਨਕਉਹਰਿਜਾਨਕੈਘਾਇਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੈ॥
ਜੋ ਵੀ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆ ਕੇ ਲੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The warriors who are fighting with these headless trunks, these trunks, considering them as Krishna, are striking blows on them
ਜੋਗਿਰਿਭੂਮਿਪਰੈਮਰਕੈਕਰਤੇਕਰਵਾਰਨਭੂਪਰਡਾਰੈ॥੧੦੭੩॥
ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਟਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੦੭੩॥
Those who are falling down on the earth, their sword is also falling down on the earth.1073.

ਕੋਪਅਤਿਭਰੇਰਨਭੂਮਿਤੇਨਟਰੇਦੋਊਰੀਝਿਰੀਝਿਲਰੇਦਲਦੁੰਦਭੀਬਜਾਇਕੈ॥
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਾਰੇ ਵਜਾ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
Both the sides are in rage, they are not retracing their steps from the battlefield and are fighting in excitement playing upon their small drums
ਦੇਵਦੇਖੈਖਰੇਗਨਜਛਜਸੁਰਰੇਨਭਤੇਪੁਹਪਢਰੇਮੇਘਬੂੰਦਨਜਿਉਆਇਕੈ॥
ਦੇਵਤੇ (ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ) ਖੜੋ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਯਕਸ਼ (ਜੱਛ) ਗਣ ਯਸ਼ ਉਚਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਡਿਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The gods are seeing all th,is and the Yakshas are singing songs of praise, the flowers are being showered from the sky like raindrops
ਕੇਤੇਜੂਝਿਮਰੇਕੇਤੇਅਪਛਰਨਬਰੇਕੇਤੇਗੀਧਨਨਚਰੇਕੇਤੇਗਿਰੇਘਾਇਖਾਇਕੈ॥
ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੱਛਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਕਿਤਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਝਾਂ ਖਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Many warriors are dying and many have been wedded by the heavenly damsels
