ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਧੀਰਬਲੀਧਨਸਿੰਘਕੀਓਰਚਲਾਵਤਬਾਨਨਿਸੰਕਗਯੋਹੈ॥
ਧੀਰਜ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਗ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
A second warrior of Krishna, greatly enraged, taking bow and arrows in his hand, unhesitatingly, marched forward towards mighty Dhan Singh.
ਸ੍ਰੀਧਨਸਿੰਘਲੀਓਅਸਿਹਾਥਿਕਟਿਓਅਰਿਮਾਥਨਡਾਰਦਯੋਹੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੱਥਾ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Dhan Singh took his sword in his hand and chopped and threw the enemy’s forehead
ਕਾਛੀਨਿਹਾਰਿਸਰੋਵਰਤੇਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਓਮਾਨਹੁਬਾਰਿਜਤੋਰਲਯੋਹੈ॥੧੧੦੪॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਛੀ ਨੇ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿਚ ਖਿੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਫੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੦੪॥
It appeared like some surveyor, seeing the lotus in the tank had plucked it.1104.
ਮਾਰਿਦੁਬੀਰਨਕੋਧਨਸਿੰਘਸਰਾਸਨਲੈਦਲਕਉਤਕਿਧਾਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਆਵਤਹੀਗਜਿਬਾਜਹਨੇਰਥਪੈਦਲਕਾਟਿਘਨੋਰਨਪਾਯੋ॥
ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਰਥਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਦਲ (ਸੈਨਾ) ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਘੋਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Killing the two warriors, mighty Dhan Singh, taking his bow and arrows in his hand, fell upon the army and waged a dreadful war and chopped elephants, horses, charioteers and soldiers on foot
ਖਗਅਲਾਤਕੀਭਾਤਿਫਿਰਿਓਖਰਸਾਨਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਕੋਛਤ੍ਰਲਜਾਯੋ॥
ਤਲਵਾਰ ਚੁਆਤੀ ('ਅਲਾਤ') ਵਾਂਗ ਫਿਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ (ਵੇਖ ਕੇ) ਸਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ (ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਪਰ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ) ਛੱਤਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
His dagger was gleaming like fire, seeing which the canopy of the king was feeling shy
ਅਉਰਭਲੀਉਪਮਾਤਿਹਕੀਲਖਿਭੀਖਮਕਉਹਰਿਚਕ੍ਰਭ੍ਰਮਾਯੋ॥੧੧੦੫॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਉਪਮਾ (ਸੁਝ ਗਈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਪਿਤਾਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ) ਚੱਕਰ ਘੁੰਮਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੦੫॥
He looked like that Bhishma, seeing whom Krishna began to revolve his discus.1105.
ਬਹੁਰੋਧਨਸਿੰਘਸਰਾਸਨੁਲੈਰਿਸਕੈਅਰਿਕੇਦਲਮਾਝਿਪਰਿਯੋ॥
ਫਿਰ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਪਿਆ।
Then Dhan Singh, taking his bow and arrows in his hand, angrily penetrated into the ranks of the enemy
ਰਥਿਕਾਟਿਘਨੇਗਜਬਾਜਹਨੇਨਹੀਜਾਤਗਨੇਇਹਭਾਤਿਲਰਿਯੋ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਥ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੜਿਆ।
He waged such a fierce battle that the broken chariots and chopped elephants and horses cannot be counted
ਜਮਲੋਕੁਸੁਬੀਰਕਿਤੇਪਠਏਹਰਿਓਰਚਲਿਯੋਅਤਿਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋ॥
ਯਮ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਯੋਧੇ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਧਿਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਵਲ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ।
He sent many a warrior to the abode of Yama and then in rage, he marched towards Krishna
ਮੁਖਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਪੁਕਾਰਿਪਰਿਯੋਦਲੁਜਾਦਵਕੋਸਿਗਰੋਬਿਡਰਿਯੋ॥੧੧੦੬॥
ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ 'ਮਾਰ ਲੌ, ਮਾਰ ਲੌ' ਹੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ) ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਲ ਘਬਰਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੦੬॥
He shouted “kill, kill” from his mouth and seeing him, the forces of Yadavas broke into fragments.1106.

ਤਬਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੂਖਨਕੋਪਿਭਰਿਬੋਲਿਯੋਨੈਨਤਚਾਇ॥੧੧੦੭॥
ਤਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰੇੜ ਕੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ ॥੧੧੦੭॥
Dhan Singh destroyed much of the Yadava army, then Krishna highly infuriated and gaping his eyes wide open, said,1107

ਹੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਓ! ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੀ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਲ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ ਹੋ।
“O brave warriors! Why are you standing? I know that you lost your courage
ਸ੍ਰੀਧਨਸਿੰਘਕੇਬਾਨਛੁਟੇਸਭਹੂੰਰਨਮੰਡਲਤੇਪਗਟਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਛੁਟਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਤੁਸਾਂ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪੈਰ ਪਿਛੇ ਹਟਾ ਲਏ ਹਨ।
You began to recede your feet from the battlefield, when Dhan Singh discharged his arrows,
ਸਿੰਘਕੇਅਗ੍ਰਜਜੈਸੇਅਜਾਗਨਐਸੇਭਜੇਨਹਿਸਸਤ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਅਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਕਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਜੜ (ਭਜ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਤੁਸੀਂ) ਭਜੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
“And becoming careless about your weapons you ran in such a way as a gathering of goats runs away before the lion
ਕਾਇਰਹੁਇਤਿਹਪੇਖਿਡਰੇਨਹਿਆਪਮਰੇਉਨਕਉਨਹੀਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੧੦੮॥
ਕਾਇਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਡਰ ਗਏ ਹੋ, (ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ) ਨਾ ਆਪ ਮਰੇ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੦੮॥
You have become cowards and have been frightened on seeing him, you have neither died yourselves nor have killed him.”1108.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਹਰਿਕੀਬਤੀਯਾਭਟਦਾਤਨਪੀਸਕੈਕ੍ਰੋਧਭਰੇ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੀਹ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਏ।
ਧਨੁਬਾਨਸੰਭਾਰਕੈਧਾਇਪਰੇਧਨਸਿੰਘਹੁੰਤੇਨਹੀਨੈਕੁਡਰੇ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਤੇ ਟੁਟ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਤੋਂ) ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਾ ਡਰੇ।
Hearing these words of Krishna, the warriors began to gnash their teeth in great anger and without fearing Dhan Singh, even slightly, they took out their bows, arrows and fell upon him
ਧਨਸਿੰਘਸਰਾਸਨੁਲੈਕਰਿਮੈਕਟਿਦੈਤਨਕੇਸਿਰਭੂਮਿਪਰੇ॥
ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਨੋਪਉਨਕੋਪੁੰਜਬਹਿਯੋਲਗਕੇਫੁਲਵਾਰੀਮੈਟੂਟਕੈਫੂਲਿਝਰੈ॥੧੧੦੯॥
(ਇੰਜ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਬੁਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਗ ਕੇ ਫੁਲਵਾੜੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਫੁਲ ਝੜੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੦੯॥
Dhan Singh also took out his bow and arrows in his hand and from the other side, because of the attack of the Yadava army, the heads of the demons, being chopped, fell on the earth like the flowers deopping down in the garden by the blowing of fierce wind

ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ, ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਟ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ; ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The warriors came in great anger and being chopped began to fall in front of Dhan Singh, while fighting with him
ਆਯੁਧਲੈਪਾਨਮੈਨਿਦਾਨਕੋਸਮਰਜਾਨਿਅਉਰਦਉਰਪਰੇਬੀਰਤਾਬਢਾਇਮਨਸੋ॥
ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਕ ਦੌੜ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Holding their bows and arrows in their hands, they came running before him in heroic vein, considering it a decisive war
ਕੋਪਧਨਸਿੰਘਲੈਸਰਾਸਨਸੁਬਾਨਤਾਨਿਜੁਦੇਕਰਡਾਰੇਸੀਸਤਿਨਹੀਕੇਤਨਸੋ॥
ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਉਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਕਸ ਕੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਿਰ ਵਖਰੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Dhan Singh also being highly infuriated, taking his bow and arrows in his hand, he separated their heads form their trunks
ਮਾਨਹੁਬਸੁੰਧਰਾਕੀਧੀਰਤਾਨਿਹਾਰਇੰਦ੍ਰਕੀਨੀਨਿਜਪੂਜਾਅਰਬਿੰਦਪੁਹਪਨਸੋ॥੧੧੧੦॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਇੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਕਮਲ ਦੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੧੦॥
It seemed that seeing the power of endurance of the earth, Indra was worshipping it, offering it flowers.1110.

Dhan Singh in extremen anger in the war killed many warriors
ਅਉਰਜਿਤੇਬਰਆਵਤਹੇਸੁਹਨੇਜਨੁਮਾਰੁਤਮੇਘਬਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਹਵਾ ਨੇ ਬਦਲ ਉਡਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ।
Others who came in front of him, he destroyed them all just as the clouds are fragmented by the blow of wind instantly
ਜਾਦਵਕੇਦਲਕੇਗਜਕੇਹਲਕੇਦਲਕੇਹਲਕੇਕਰਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘੇਰਿਆਂ (ਟੋਲਿਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਦਰੜ ਕੇ ਹੌਲੇ (ਅਰਥਾਤ ਵਿਰਲੇ) ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
He, with his great strength, reduced considerable, numerous elephants and horses of the Yadava army
ਝੂਮਿਗਿਰੇਇਕਯੌਧਰਨੀਮਨੋਇੰਦ੍ਰਕੇਬਜ੍ਰਲਗੇਗਿਰਭਾਰੇ॥੧੧੧੧॥
(ਉਹ) ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬਜ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰੇ ਪਰਬਤ (ਡਿਗੇ ਹੋਣ) ॥੧੧੧੧॥
Those warriors had fallen on the earth like the mountains, whose wings had been chopped by the Vajra (weapon) of Indra.1111.
ਕੋਪਭਰੇਅਸਿਪਾਨਿਧਰੇਧਨਸਿੰਘਅਰੇਗਜਰਾਜਸੰਘਾਰੇ॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
Catching hold of his sword in his hand, Dhan Singh in great rage killed many large elephants
ਅਉਰਜਿਤੇਗਜਪੁੰਜਹੁਤੇਡਰਮਾਨਿਭਜੇਅਤਿਹੀਧੁਜਵਾਰੇ॥
ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਧੁਜਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਸਨ, ਡਰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
All the remaining chariots with banners fled away in fear
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੀਉਪਮਾਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਮਨਮੈਸੁਬਿਚਾਰਉਚਾਰੇ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਬੀ ਦੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਤੋਂ ਕਹੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਮਾਨਹੁਇੰਦ੍ਰਕੇਆਗਮਤੇਡਰਭੂਧਰਕੈਧਰਿਪੰਖਪਧਾਰੇ॥੧੧੧੨॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਖੰਭ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਡ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੧੨॥
The poet says that that spectacle appeared to him like the mountains growing wings were flying away, realizing the approach of god Indra.1112.
ਜੁਧਕੀਯੋਧਨਸਿੰਘਘਨੋਤਿਹਕੇਕੋਊਸਾਮੁਹਿਬੀਰਨਆਯੋ॥
ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਨਾ ਆਇਆ।
Dhan Singh waged a dreadful war and none could withstand him
ਸੋਰਨਿਕੋਪਸਿਉਆਨਿਪਰਿਯੋਨਹੀਜਾਨਦੀਯੋਸੋਈਮਾਰਿਗਿਰਾਯੋ॥
ਜੋ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਪਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Whosoever came in front of him, Dhan Singh killed him in his anger
ਦਾਸਰਥੀਦਲਸਿਉਜਿਮਿਰਾਵਨਰੋਸਭਰਿਯੋਅਤਿਜੁਧਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਵਣ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ,
It appeared that Ravana had begun a terrible war with the forces of Ram
ਤੈਸੇਭਿਰਿਯੋਧਨਸਿੰਘਬਲੀਹਨਿਕੈਚਤੁਰੰਗਚਮੂੰਪੁਨਿਧਾਯੋ॥੧੧੧੩॥
ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੜਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਜੋ) ਚਤੁਰੰਗਨੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਭਜਿਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੧੩॥
Fighting in this way, destroying the four divisions of the army be rushed forward again.1113.
ਟੇਰਿਕਹਿਯੋਧਨਸਿੰਘਬਲੀਰਨਤ੍ਯਾਗਸੁਨੋਹਰਿਭਾਜਿਨਜਈਯੈ॥
ਬਲਵਾਨ ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ, ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਾ।
The mighty Dhan Singh shouting loudly said, “O Krishna! do not leave the field and run away now
ਤਾਤੇਸੰਭਾਰਕੇਆਨਿਭਿਰੋਨਿਜਲੋਕਨਕੋਬਿਰਥਾਨਕਟਈਯੈ॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ (ਖ਼ੁਦ ਨੂੰ) ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ (ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ) ਆ ਕੇ ਲੜੋ, ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਰਵਾਓ।
Come yourself and fight with me, and do not get your people killed uselessly
ਹੇਬਲਿਦੇਵਸਰਾਸਨੁਲੈਹਮਸੋਸਮੁਹਾਇਕੈਜੁਧਕਰਈਯੈ॥
ਹੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ! ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ।
ਸੰਗਰਕੇਸਮਅਉਰਕਛੂਨਹੀਯਾਤੇਦੁਹੂੰਜਗਮੈਜਸੁਪਈਯੈ॥੧੧੧੪॥
ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ (ਧਰਮ-ਕਰਮ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਯਸ਼ ਖਟੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੧੪॥
“O Balram! you may also come with your bow and arrows in your hand and fight with me, because there is nothing like the war, through which one gets praise in this and the next world.”1114.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਬਤੀਯਾਅਰਿਕੀਤਰਕੀਮਨਮੈਅਤਿਕੋਪਭਰਿਯੋਹੈ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਅੰਗ ('ਤਰਕੀ') ਸੁਣ ਕੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
