ਤਉਅਚਲੇਸਗੁਮਾਨਭਰੇਅਤਿਹੀਹਸਕੈਇਹਭਾਤਿਪੁਕਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਤਦ ਅਚਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਗੁਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਸ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ,
After the passing away of one mahurat (a short span of time), Krishna regained his consciousness in the chariot, now Achlesh laughing proudly said,
ਜਾਤਕਹਾਹਮਤੇਭਜਿਕੈਕਰਿਲੈਕੇਗਦਾਕਟੁਬੋਲਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਕਿਥੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਗਦਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਾਟਵੇਂ ਬੋਲ ਉਚਾਰੇ।
ਮਾਨਹੁਕੇਹਰਿਜਾਤਹੁਤੋਨਰਲੈਲਕੁਟੀਕਰਿਮੈਲਲਕਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੧੭੪॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੂੰ (ਕੋਈ) ਬੰਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਡਾਂਗ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਲਲਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੭੪॥
“Where will you run away from me?” Taking his mace in his hand, he uttered these ironical words like some man holding his staff and challenging a lion going away.1174.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਬਤੀਆਅਰਿਕੀਰਥੁਹਾਕਿਫਿਰਿਯੋਹਰਿਕੋਪਭਯੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆ।
Hearing these words of the enemy, Krishna getting enraged, moved forward his chariot
ਪਟਪੀਤਮਹਾਫਹਰਿਓਧੁਜਜਿਉਘਨਮੈਚਪਲਾਸਮਰੂਪਲਯੋ॥
(ਰਥ ਉਤੇ) ਪੀਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਝੰਡਾ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੁਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ) ਜਿਉਂ ਬਦਲ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
His yellow garment began to wave like the lightning among the clouds
ਬਰਖਿਯੋਸਰਬੂੰਦਨਜਿਉਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਤਬੈਰਿਪੁਕੋਦਲਮਾਰਦਯੋ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਬਰਖਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਾਣਾਂ (ਦੀ ਝੜੀ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ) ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਰਿਸਕੈਅਚਲੇਸਸੁਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਗਹੇਹਰਿਸਾਮੁਹੇਆਇਖਯੋ॥੧੧੭੫॥
ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਅਚਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆ ਖੜੋਤਾ ॥੧੧੭੫॥
With the shower of his arrows, he killed the army of the enemy and now in great fury, taking his bow and arrows in his hands, Achlesh came and stood against Krishna.1175.

ਬਿਕਟਿਨਿਕਟਿਰਨਿਸੁਭਟਲਖਿਹਰਿਪ੍ਰਤਿਬੋਲਿਯੋਬੈਨ॥੧੧੭੬॥
ਵਿਕਟ ਸੂਰਮੇ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ ॥੧੧੭੬॥
Seeing Krishna, he blew his horn (roaring like a lion) and seeing the warriors on all the four sides, he said to Krishna.1176.

ਜੀਵਤਜੇਜਗਮੈਰਹਿਹੈਅਤਿਜੁਧਕਥਾਹਮਰੀਸੁਨਲੈਹੈ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ, (ਉਹ) ਮੇਰੇ ਇਸ ਭਾਰੀ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣ ਲੈਣਗੇ।
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੀਕਵਿਤਾਕਰਿਕੈਕਬਿਰਾਮਨਰੇਸਨਜਾਇਰਿਝੈਹੈ॥
ਉਸ ਛਬੀ ਦੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
“Those who will survive in the world, they will listen to our war episode and the poets will please the kings with that poetry
ਜੋਬਲਿਪੈਕਹਿਹੈਕਥਪੰਡਿਤਰੀਝਿਘਨੋਤਿਹਕੋਧਨੁਦੇਹੈ॥
ਜਿਸ ਬਲ ਉਤੇ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਕਥਾ ਕਹਿਣਗੇ, (ਸਰੋਤੇ ਅਥਵਾ ਰਾਜੇ) ਰੀਝ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਨ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
“But if the Pundits will narrate it, they will also receive enormous wealth
ਹੇਹਰਿਜੂਇਹਆਹਵਕੇਜੁਗਚਾਰਨਿਮੈਗੁਨਗੰਧ੍ਰਬਗੈਹੈ॥੧੧੭੭॥
ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਇਸ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗੰਧਰਬ ਲੋਕ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਯੁਗਾਂ ਤਕ ਗਾਉਣਗੇ ॥੧੧੭੭॥
And O Krishna! Ganas and Gandharvas will also sing about this war.”1177.
ਕੋਪਕੈਉਤਰਦੇਤਭਯੋਅਰਿਕੀਬਤੀਯਾਸੁਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਬੈ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਚਿਰੀਯਾਬਨਮੈਚੁਹਕੈਤਬਲਉਅਤਿਕੋਪਨਆਵਤਬਾਜਜਬੈ॥
ਚਿੜੀ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਹੀ ਚੂਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਤਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਾਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ।
Krishna heard all this talk of the enemy, got enraged, and said, “The sparrow only chirps in the forest as long as the falcon does not come there
ਗਰਬਾਤਹੈਮੂਢਘਨੋਰਨਮੈਕਟਿਹੌਤੁਹਿਸੀਸਲਖੈਗੋਤਬੈ॥
ਹੇ ਮੂਰਖ! ਤੂੰ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ, (ਜਦੋਂ) ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ (ਤੈਨੂੰ) ਪਤਾ ਲਗੇਗਾ।
“O fool, you are absorbed in too much pride
ਤਿਹਤੇਤਜਿਸੰਕਨਿਸੰਕਲਰੋਬਲਬੀਰਕਹਿਯੋਕਹਾਢੀਲਅਬੈ॥੧੧੭੮॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਨਿਸੰਗ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੜੋ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਹੁਣ ਕੀਹ ਢਿਲ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੭੮॥
You will know only then, when I chop your head, therefore forsaking all illusions come and fight and do not delay any more.”1178.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਕਟੁਬੈਨਨਕੋਅਚਲੇਸਬਲੀਮਨਿਕੋਪਜਗਿਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਟਵੇਂ ਬੋਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਅਚਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ।
ਕਸਬੋਲਤਹੋਕਛੁਲਾਜਗਹੋਰਨਿਠਾਢੇਰਹੋਸੁਨਿਹੋਨਭਗਿਯੋ॥
(ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ!) ਕਿਉਂ ਬੋਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਕਰ, ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਰਹੀਂ, ਸੁਣ ਲੈ, ਭਜ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਈਂ।
Hearing these words, the anger arose in the mind of the brave Achal Singh and he thundered,
ਯਹਉਤਰਦੈਹਰਿਕੋਜਬਹੀਤਬਹੀਨਿਜਆਯੁਧਲੈਉਮਗਿਯੋ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਮੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ।
“O Krishna! you may feel ashamed
ਮਨਮੈਹਰਖਿਯੋਧਨੁਕੋਕਰਖਿਯੋਬਰਖਿਯੋਸਰਸ੍ਰੀਹਰਿਕੋਨਲਗਿਯੋ॥੧੧੭੯॥
ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ, ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ (ਕੋਈ ਬਾਣ) ਨਾ ਲਗਿਆ ॥੧੧੭੯॥
Stand there and do not run,” saying this he held up his weapon in his hand and ran forward, he, getting pleased, pulled his bow and discharged his arrow, but that arrow did not hit Krishna.1179.
ਜੋਅਚਲੇਸਜੂਬਾਨਚਲਾਵਤਸੋਹਰਿਆਵਤਕਾਟਿਗਿਰਾਵੈ॥
ਅਚਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Every arrow discharged by Achal Singh was intercepted by Krishna
ਜਾਨੈਨਦੇਹਲਗਿਯੋਅਰਿਕੀਸਰਫੇਰਿਰਿਸਾਕਰਿਅਉਰਚਲਾਵੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵੈਰੀ (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਵਿਚ (ਕੋਈ) ਬਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ (ਬਾਣ) ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
When he learnt that, that arrow did not hit Krishna, then in anger he would shoot another arrow
ਸੋਹਰਿਆਵਤਬੀਚਕਟੈਅਪਨੋਉਹਕੋਉਰਬੀਚਲਗਾਵੈ॥
ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਕਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ (ਬਾਣ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਛਾਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Krishna would intercept that arrow also midway and instead would inflict his arrow in his enemy’s chest
ਦੇਖਿਸਤਕ੍ਰਿਤਕਉਤਕਕੋਕਬਿਰਾਮਕਹੈਪ੍ਰਭਕੋਜਸੁਗਾਵੈ॥੧੧੮੦॥
ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਕੌਤਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਇੰਦਰ ('ਸਤਕ੍ਰਿਤ') ਵੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੧੮੦॥
Seeing this spectacle, the poet Ram is eulogsing the Lord-God.1180.
ਦਾਰੁਕਕੋਕਹਿਓਤੇਜਕੈਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਸ੍ਰੀਹਰਿਜੂਕਰਿਖਗੁਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ) ਰਥਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਥ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਪਕੜ ਲਈ।
Telling his charioteer named Daruk to drive his chariot speedily, Krishna held up his dagger in his hand’ in great fury, he struck it on the head of the enemy
ਦਾਮਨਿਜਿਉਘਨਮੈਲਸਕੈਰਿਸਮੈਬਰਿਕੈਅਰਿਊਪਰਮਾਰਿਯੋ॥
(ਤਲਵਾਰ ਇੰਜ ਲਿਸ਼ਕ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਦਲ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ; (ਉਸ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਲ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਤੇ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੀ।
It was flashing like lightning
ਦੁਜਨਕੋਸਿਰੁਕਾਟਿਦਯੋਬਿਨੁਰੁੰਡਭਯੋਜਸੁਤਾਹਿਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ (ਸਿਰ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਰੁੰਡ (ਧੜ) ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦਾ (ਯਸ਼ ਕਵੀ ਨੇ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ,
He, (Krishna) cut the head of that wicked person, making his trunk headless
ਜਿਉਸਰਦੂਲਮਹਾਬਨਮੈਹਤਕੈਬਲਸੋਮਨੋਕੇਹਰਿਡਾਰਿਯੋ॥੧੧੮੧॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਲ ਵਿਚ ਬਲ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਮਾਨੋ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਾਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੧੮੧॥
It seemed that the great lion has killed the small lion.1181.

At that time Addar Singh, Ajaib Singh, Aghat Singh, Vir Singh, Amar Singh, Atal Singh etc., the great warriors were there.1182
ਅਰਜਨਸਿੰਘਅਰੁਅਮਿਟਸਿੰਘਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਨਿਹਾਰਿਓਨੈਨ॥
ਅਰਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਮਿਟ ਸਿੰਘ (ਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਅੱਠ ਯੋਧੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਿਆ।
ਆਠਭੂਪਮਿਲਿਪਰਸਪਰਬੋਲਤਐਸੇਬੈਨ॥੧੧੮੩॥
ਅੱਠੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਬੋਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਗੇ ॥੧੧੮੩॥
Krishna saw Arjun Singh and Amit Singh and found that eight kings were together conversing with one another.1183.

ਦੇਖਤਹੋਨ੍ਰਿਪਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਲੀਤਿਹਕੇਹਮਊਪਰਿਧਾਇਪਰੈ॥
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਿਓ! ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਈਏ।
Those kings were saying, “O kings! he is the mighty Krishna
ਅਪੁਨੇਪ੍ਰਭਕੋਮਿਲਿਕਾਜਕਰੈਮੁਸਲੀਹਰਿਤੇਨਹੀਨੈਕੁਡਰੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜੇ ('ਪ੍ਰਭ') ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਾ ਡਰੀਏ।
Let us fall upon him and without fearing Krishna and Balram even a little, we may work for our Lord,”
ਧਨੁਬਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਗਦਾਪਰਸੇਬਰਛੇਗਹਿਤੀਛਨਜਾਇਅਰੈ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼, ਬਾਣ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ, ਗਦਾ, ਕੁਹਾੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਖੇ ਬਰਛੇ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ (ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ) ਡਟ ਜਾਈਏ।
They caught their bows, arrows, swords, maces, axes, daggers etc. and went to resist
ਸਬਹੀਸੁਕਹੀਇਹਈਪ੍ਰਨਹੈਜਦੁਬੀਰਹਨੈਮਿਲਿਜੁਧਕਰੈ॥੧੧੮੪॥
ਸਭ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ (ਸਾਡਾ) ਇਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੀਏ ॥੧੧੮੪॥
They said to all, “Let us together wage a war and kill Krishna.”1184.
ਆਯੁਧਲੈਸਿਗਰੇਕਰਮੈਸੁਮੁਕੰਦਕੇਊਪਰਿਦਉਰਪਰੇ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਪਰ ਦੌੜ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਪਏ।
Taking their weapons in their hands, they fell upon Krishna
ਸੁਧਵਾਇਕੈਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਆਨਿਅਰੇਸੰਗਿਚਾਰਅਛੂਹਨਿਸੂਰਬਰੇ॥
ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਕੇ, ਆ ਕੇ ਡਟ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚਾਰ ਅਛੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਹਨ।
They drove their chariots and brought before him their army of four extremely large units
ਕਬਿਰਾਮਕਹੈਅਤਿਆਹਵਮੈਅਘਖੰਡਨਿਤੇਨਹੀਨੈਕਡਰੇ॥
ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ (ਖੜੋਤੇ ਹਨ) ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ (ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ) ਤੋਂ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦੇ।
The poet Shyam says that they had not even the slightest fear in this dreadful war and rushed forward shouting “Kill. Kill”
ਮਨੋਗਾਜਿਪ੍ਰਲੈਘਨਧਾਇਚਲਿਯੋਤਿਮਦਉਰੇਸੁਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਕਰੇ॥੧੧੮੫॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਪਰਲੋ ਦੇ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਭਜੇ ਚਲੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰੋ ਮਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੧੮੫॥
It appeared that the clouds of doomsday were thundering.1185.
ਧਨਸਿੰਘਅਛੂਹਨਿਦੁਇਸੰਗਿਲੈਅਨਗੇਸਅਛੂਹਨਿਤੀਨਸੁਲ੍ਯਾਏ॥
ਧਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੋ ਅਛੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਿੰਨ ਅਛੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ।
Dhan Singh came with two extremely large units of army and Angesh Singh brought three such units
ਸੋਤੁਮਸ੍ਯਾਮਸੁਨੋਛਲਸੋਰਨਮੈਦਸਹੂੰਨ੍ਰਿਪਮਾਰਿਗਿਰਾਏ॥
(ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ) ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਸੁਣ, ਤੂੰ ਛਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦਸਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਗਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
They said, “O Krishna! you have killed the ten kings with deceit
