ਚਾਰਅਛੂਹਨਿਲੈਹਮਹੂੰਦਲਤੋਪਰਆਏਹੈਕੋਪਬਢਾਏ॥
ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਅਛੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਉਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ।
ਤਾਤੇਕਹਿਯੋਸੁਨਿਲੈਹਮਰੋਗ੍ਰਿਹਕੋਤਜਿਆਹਵਜਾਹੁਪਰਾਏ॥੧੧੮੬॥
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣ ਲੈ, ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੌੜ ਜਾ ॥੧੧੮੬॥
“We have brought four such units in great anger, therefore, you may leave the war-arena and run away to your home.”1186.

ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ:

ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਬਤੀਯਾਤਿਹਕੀਹਰਿਕੋਪਕਹਿਯੋਹਮਜੁਧਕਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ਅਸੀਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਗਦਾਗਹਿਕੈਦੋਊਭ੍ਰਾਤਸਬੈਅਰਿਸੈਨਹਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਗਦਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ) ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ।
Hearing these words, Krishna in great ire, challenged them for war and said, “We, both brothers, taking up our bows and arrows, shall destroy all your army
ਸੂਰਸਿਵਾਦਿਕਤੇਨਭਜੈਹਨਿਹੈਤੁਮਕਉਨਹਿਜੂਝਿਮਰੈਂਗੇ॥
ਸੂਰਜ, ਸ਼ਿਵ ਵਰਗਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਜਾਂਗੇ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗੇ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ (ਆਪ) ਲੜ ਮਰਾਂਗੇ।
“We have not been frightened even by Surya and Shive, therefore, we shall kill all of you and sacrifice ourselves
ਮੇਰੁਹਲੈਸੁਖਿਹੈਨਿਧਿਬਾਰਿਤਊਰਨਕੀਛਿਤਿਤੇਨਟਰੈਂਗੇ॥੧੧੮੭॥
ਸੁਮੇਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਹਿਲ ਜਾਵੇ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਜਲ ਸੁਕ ਜਾਵੇ (ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਅਣਹੋਣੀਆਂ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ) ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਾਂਗੇ ॥੧੧੮੭॥
Even if the Sumeru mountain is moved and the water of the ocean is dried up, we shall not leave the battlefield.”1187.
ਯੌਕਹਿਕੈਬਤੀਯਾਤਿਨਸੋਕਸਿਕੈਇਕਬਾਨੁਸੁਸ੍ਯਾਮਚਲਾਯੋ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ, ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਵਲ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਲਾਗਿਗਯੋਅਜਬੇਸਕੇਬਛਸੁਲਾਗਤਹੀਕਛੁਖੇਦੁਨਪਾਯੋ॥
ਉਹ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਅਜਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਵੱਖੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੁਖ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
Saying thus, he discharged one arrow towards the enemies with full strength, which hit the waist of Ajaib Singh, but it could not do any harm to him
ਫੇਰਿਹਠੀਹਠਿਕੈਹਰਿਸੋਇਮਬੈਨਮਹਾਕਰਿਕੋਪਸੁਨਾਯੋ॥
ਫਿਰ (ਉਸ) ਹਠੀ ਨੇ ਹਠ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲ ਉਚਾਰੇ,
ਕਾਕਹੀਏਤਿਹਪੰਡਿਤਕੋਜਿਹਤੇਧਨੁਕੀਬਿਧਿਤੂੰਪੜਿਆਯੋ॥੧੧੮੮॥
ਉਸ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਹੀਏ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਜੁਗਤ ਤੂੰ ਸਿਖ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੧੮੮॥
That mighty warrior said angrily to Krishna, “O Krishna, who is such a Pundit, from whom you have learnt the art of warfare.1188.
ਕੋਪਭਰੀਜਦੁਵੀਪ੍ਰਿਤਨਾਇਤਤੇਉਮਡੀਉਤਤੇਵਹਆਈ॥
ਇਧਰੋਂ ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਮਡੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਧਰੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ) ਆ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਕੀਏਮੁਖਤੇਕਬਿਰਾਮਕਹੈਜੀਯਰੋਸਬਢਾਈ॥
ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਸ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ 'ਮਾਰ ਲੌ, ਮਾਰ ਲੌ' ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The Yadava army, in great fury, rushed there shouting “Kill, Kill”
ਬਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਗਦਾਕੇਲਗੇਬਹੁਜੂਝਿਪਰੇਕਰਿਦੁੰਦਲਰਾਈ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨ, ਗਦਾ (ਆਦਿ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ) ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਅਨੇਕ (ਯੋਧੇ) ਦੁਅੰਦ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
In that war, a great part of the army fell down on the earth with the blows of arrows, swords and maces in that conflict
ਰੀਝਰਹੇਸੁਰਪੇਖਿਸਬੈਪੁਹਪਾਵਲਿਕੀਬਰਖਾਬਰਖਾਈ॥੧੧੮੯॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ) ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਫੁਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਲਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਖਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੧੮੯॥
The gods on seeing this became pleased and showered flowers.1189.
ਇਤਤੇਰਨਮੈਰਿਸਬੀਰਲਰੈਨਭਿਮੈਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਸਨਾਦਿਨਿਹਾਰੈ॥
ਇਧਰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਧਰ) ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਕਾਦਿਕ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਗੇਨਐਸੋਭਯੋਕਬਹੂੰਰਨਆਪਸਿਮੈਇਮਬੋਲਿਉਚਾਰੈ॥
(ਉਹ) ਆਪਸ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਗੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ।
On this side, the warriors are fighting in great rage and on the other side, seeing all this, Brahma and other gods are saying amongst themselves in the sky: “There had not been such a dreadful war earlier,”
ਜੂਝਪਰੇਤਿਹਸ੍ਰਉਨਢਰੇਭਰਿਖਪਰਜੁਗਨਿਪੀਕਿਲਕਾਰੈ॥
(ਯੋਧੇ) ਲੜ ਕੇ ਮਰ ਗਏ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ) ਲਹੂ ਵਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ) ਖੱਪਰ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਕਿਲਕਾਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
The warriors are fighting to the end and the Yoginis are shrieking while filling their bowls with blood and drinking
ਮੁੰਡਨਮਾਲਅਨੇਕਗੁਹੀਸਿਵਕੇਗਨਧਨਿਹੀਧਨਿਪੁਕਾਰੈ॥੧੧੯੦॥
ਸ਼ਿਵ ਦੇ ਗਣਾਂ ਨੇ, (ਸ਼ਿਵ ਲਈ) ਮੁੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਮਾਲਾਵਾਂ ਗੁੰਦ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਮ ਲਈ) ਧੰਨ ਹੀ ਧੰਨ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੧੯੦॥
The ganas of Shiva, hailing the warriors, are preparing many garlands of skulls.1190.
ਆਯੁਧਧਾਰਿਅਯੋਧਨਮੈਇਕਕੋਪਭਰੇਭਟਧਾਇਅਰੈ॥
ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਧਾਵਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਡਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Carrying his weapons, some warrior, running forward in the battlefield is seen resisting
ਇਕਮਲਕੀਦਾਇਨਜੁਧਕਰੈਇਕਦੇਖਮਹਾਰਣਦਉਰਿਪਰੈ॥
ਇਕ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਦਾਓਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੌੜ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Someone is fighting like a wrestler and someone seeing the dreadful war, is running away
ਇਕਰਾਮਹੀਰਾਮਕਹੈਮੁਖਿਤੇਇਕੁਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਇਹੈਉਚਰੈ॥
ਕਈ (ਘਬਰਾ ਕੇ) ਮੂੰਹੋਂ 'ਰਾਮ ਰਾਮ' ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ (ਮੁਖ ਤੋਂ) 'ਮਾਰ ਲੌ, ਮਾਰ ਲੌ' ਇਹੋ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Someone is repeating the name of the Lord-god and someone is shouting loudly “Kill, Kill”
ਇਕਜੂਝਿਪਰੇਇਕਘਾਇਭਰੇਇਕਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹਾਇਹਭਾਤਿਰਰੈ॥੧੧੯੧॥
ਇਕ ਲੜ ਮੋਏ ਹਨ, ਇਕ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਬੋਲ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ 'ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਥੇ ਹੈ?' ॥੧੧੯੧॥
Someone is dying and someone being wounded, is writhing.1191.
