The mighty warrior Kharag Singh killed six kings and after that three other kings came to fight with him.1381.

ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੩੮੨॥
Kharag Singh remained stable in the battle also after killing Karan Singh, Aran Singh, Baran Singh etc.1382.

Killing many great kings and getting enraged again Kharag Singh took his bow and arrows in his hand

ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਮਿਰਾਵਨਸੈਨਹਤੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਰਾਘਵਤਿਉਦਲੁਮਾਰਿਬਿਦਾਰਦੀਯੋ॥
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਮਾਰੀ ਸੀ, ਉਵੇਂ (ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
The manner in which Ram had destroyed the army of Ravana, in the same way, Kharag Singh killed the enemy’s army
ਗਨਭੂਤਪਿਸਾਚਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਾਲਨਗੀਧਨਜੋਗਿਨਸ੍ਰਉਨਅਘਾਇਪੀਯੋ॥੧੩੮੩॥
ਗਣਾਂ, ਭੂਤਾਂ, ਪਿਸ਼ਾਚਾਂ, ਗਿਦੜਾਂ, ਗਿਰਝਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਗਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਜ ਕੇ ਲਹੂ ਪੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੩੮੩॥
The ganas, ghosts, fiends, jackals, vultures and Yoginis drank the blood to their fill in the war.1383.

ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਾਨੋ ਹੋਲੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੩੮੪॥
Was fearlessly roaming in the war-arena, he seemed to be playing Holi.1384.

(ਜੋ) ਬਾਣ ਚਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੇਸਰ (ਦੇ ਛੱਟੇ) ਸਮਝੋ, (ਅਤੇ ਜੋ) ਬਰਛੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਲ ਦੀ ਮੁਠ (ਸੁਟੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੋਚੋ)।
The arrows are being discharged like the vermilion diffused in air and the blood flowing with the blows of the lances seemed like gulal (red colour)
ਢਾਲਮਨੋਡਫਮਾਲਬਨੀਹਥਨਾਲਬੰਦੂਕਛੁਟੇਪਿਚਕਾਰੀ॥
ਢਾਲਾਂ ਮਾਨੋ ਡਫਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਾ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹੋਣ (ਅਤੇ ਜੋ) ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਦੂਕਾਂ ਚਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪਿਚਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮਝੋ।
The shields have become like tabors and the guns look like the pumps

(ਜੋ) ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਹੂ ਭਿਜੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਹਨ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਉਪਮਾ (ਇਹ ਸਮਝੋ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕੇਸਰ ਘੋਲ ਕੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
The clothes of the warriors filled with blood appear having been saturated with dissolved saffron.
ਖੇਲਤਫਾਗੁਕਿਬੀਰਲਰੈਨਵਲਾਸੀਲੀਏਕਰਵਾਰਕਟਾਰੀ॥੧੩੮੫॥
ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਹੋਲੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਟਾਰਾਂ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਫੁਲਝੜੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਪਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧੩੮੫॥
The warriors carrying the swords appear carrying the sticks of flowers and playing Holi.1385.

ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਵਾ ਕੇ ਉਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਜਿਥੇ ਮਾਨੋ ਨਾਚ ਗਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਅਖਾੜਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਵੇ)।
Giving instructions to his charioteer and getting his chariot drive, he is waging a violent war

(ਉਹ) ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਉਪਰ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਰਥ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
Making signs with his hands, he is striking blows with his weapons
ਦੁੰਦਭਿਢੋਲਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗਬਜੈਕਰਵਾਰਕਟਾਰਨਤਾਲਬਜਾਵੈ॥
(ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿਚ) ਧੌਂਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਢੋਲ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਵਜ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਟਾਰਾਂ (ਦਾ ਵਜਣਾ ਮਾਨੋ) ਤਾਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
Musical tunes are being played with small drums, drums, trumpets and swords .
ਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਉਚਾਰਕਰੈਮੁਖਿਯੌਕਰਿਨ੍ਰਿਤਅਉਗਾਨਸੁਨਾਵੈ॥੧੩੮੭॥
(ਜੋ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ) ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ 'ਮਾਰੋ' 'ਮਾਰੋ' ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਹ ਮਾਨੋ) ਨਾਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਗਾਣਾ ਸੁਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੩੮੭॥
He is dancing alongwith the shouts of “kill, kill and also singing.1387.

(ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ) 'ਮਾਰੋ' 'ਮਾਰੋ' ਦਾ ਜੋ ਉੱਚਾਰਨ ਹੋ (ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਇਹੀ ਮਾਨੋ ਰਾਗ ਦਾ) ਅਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
The shouts of “kill, kill” and the sound of drums and trumpets are being heard
ਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਸਿਰਅਤ੍ਰਤਰਾਕਲਗੈਤਿਹਿਤਾਲਨਕੋਠਨਕਾਰਾ॥
ਧੌਂਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਾਰੇ ਮਾਨੋ ਅਪਾਰ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ਵਜ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਣ। ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਿਚ (ਜੋ) ਤੜਾਕ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤੀਰ ਵਜਦੇ ਹਨ (ਉਹ ਮਾਨੋ) ਕੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਠਨਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
With the blows of arms on the heads of the enemies, there is jingling of tunes
ਜੂਝਿਗਿਰੇਧਰਿਰੀਝਕੈਦੇਤਹੈਪ੍ਰਾਨਨਦਾਨਬਡੇਰਿਝਿਵਾਰਾ॥
(ਜੋ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ) ਜੂਝ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹਨ (ਉਹ ਮਾਨੋ) ਰੀਝ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਚੁਕੇ ਹੋਣ।
The warriors while fighting and falling down appear like offering their life-force with pleasure
ਨਿਰਤਕਰੈਨਟਕੋਪਲਰੈਭਟਜੁਧਕੀਠਉਰਕਿਨ੍ਰਿਤਅਖਾਰਾ॥੧੩੮੮॥
ਨਟ ਨਾਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਯੋਧੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, (ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਹ) ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਨਾਚ ਦਾ ਅਖਾੜਾ ॥੧੩੮੮॥
The warriors are jumping up in anger and it cannot be said, whether it is the battlefield or the arena of dancing.1388.
ਰਨਭੂਮਿਭਈਰੰਗਭੂਮਿਮਨੋਧੁਨਿਦੁੰਦਭਿਬਾਜੇਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗਹੀਯੋ॥
(ਇਹ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਮਾਨੋ ਰੰਗ-ਭੂਮੀ ਬਣੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਵੇ। ਧੌਂਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਮਾਨੋ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਹੋਵੇ।
The battlefield has become like an arena of dancing, where there is play of musical instruments and drums
ਸਿਰਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਪਰਅਤ੍ਰਲਗੈਤਤਕਾਰਤਰਾਕਨਿਤਾਲਲੀਯੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਉਤੇ ਵਜਦੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਤਕਾਰ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਕੈਂਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਠਨਕਾਰ ਹੋਵੇ।
The heads of the enemies are producing a special sound and tune with the blows of arms
ਅਸਿਲਾਗਤਝੂਮਿਗਿਰੈਮਰਿਕੈਭਟਪ੍ਰਾਨਨਮਾਨਹੁਦਾਨਕੀਯੋ॥
ਤਲਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਲਗਣ ਨਾਲ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਘੁੰਮੇਰੀ ਖਾ ਕੇ ਡਿਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮਾਨੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
The warriors falling on the earth seem to be making offerings of their life-breaths
ਬਰਨ੍ਰਿਤਕਰੈਕਿਲਰੈਨਟਜ੍ਯੋਂਨ੍ਰਿਪਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਸੁਰਾਗਕੀਯੋ॥੧੩੮੯॥
(ਇਹ) ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਨਟ ਨਾਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਾਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਉਚਾਰਨਾ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਰਾਗ ਦਾ ਅਲਾਪ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੩੮੯॥
They are dancing and singing like the actors, the melody of “kill, kill”/1389.

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ
ਕੋਭਟਲਾਇਕਸੈਨਮੈਲਰੈਜੁਯਾਸੰਗਿਜਾਇ॥੧੩੯੦॥
ਕਿ (ਸਾਡੀ) ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਸੂਰਮਾ (ਇਸ) ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੇ ॥੧੩੯੦॥
Seeing such a battle, Krishna uttered loudly, his words being heard by all, “Who is that worthy warrior, who is going to fight with Kharag Singh?”1390.

(ਜੋ) ਕਿਸੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਸੋਧੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ।
GHAN Singh and Ghaat Singh were such warriors, whom no one could defeat
ਘਨਸੁਰਸਿੰਘਘਮੰਡਸਿੰਘਧਾਏ॥
(ਫਿਰ) ਘਨਸੁਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਘਮੰਡ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਚਾਰੋਕਾਲਪਠਾਏ॥੧੩੯੧॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲ ਨੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੩੯੧॥
Ghansur Singh and Ghamand Singh also moved and it seemed that death had itself called all the four.1391.

ਤਦ ਉਸ (ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ) ਨੇ ਤਕ ਕੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਦੇ (ਸਿਰ ਵਿਚ) ਤੀਰ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨ
ਚਾਰੋਪ੍ਰਾਨਬਿਨਾਕਰਿਡਾਰੇ॥
ਅਤੇ ਚੌਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Then seeing towards them, the arrows were discharged on all the four and they were made lifeless
ਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਅਸ੍ਵਸੂਤਸਬਘਾਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ) ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਥ, ਰਥਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਵੀ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
