ਕਾਨਪ੍ਰਮਾਨਲਉਤਾਨਕਮਾਨਨਯੌਨ੍ਰਿਪਊਪਰਿਬਾਨਚਲਾਏ॥
ਧਨੁਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਤਕ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਮਾਨਹੁਪਾਵਸਕੀਰਿਤੁਮੈਘਨਬੂੰਦਨਜਿਉਸਰਤਿਉਬਰਖਾਏ॥੧੪੪੦॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਬਰਖਾ ਰੁਤ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਉਂ ਬਦਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੂੰਦਾਂ ਡਿਗਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ (ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਨੇ) ਤੀਰ ਚਲਾਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੪੪੦॥
They pulled their bows upto their ears and showered arrows on the king like raindrops in rainy season.1440.
ਕਾਟਿਕੈਬਾਨਸਬੈਤਿਨਕੇਅਪੁਨੇਸਰਸ੍ਰੀਹਰਿਕੇਤਨਘਾਏ॥
(ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਾਣ (ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਕਟ ਸੁਟੇ (ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ) ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਣ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਤਨ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਹਨ।
He (Kharag Singh) intercepted all their arrows, he inflicted several wounds on the body of Krishna
ਘਾਇਨਤੇਬਹੁਸ੍ਰਉਨਬਹਿਓਤਬਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਿਕੇਪਗਨਠਹਰਾਏ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਲਹੂ ਵਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰ ਟਿਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
So much blood oozed out from those wounds that Krishna could not stay in the battlefield
ਅਉਰਜਿਤੇਬਰਬੀਰਹੁਤੇਰਨਦੇਖਿਕੈਭੂਪਤਿਕੋਬਿਸਮਾਏ॥
ਹੋਰ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਯੋਧੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਹ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
All the other kings, seeing Kharag Singh, were wonder-struck
ਧੀਰਨਕਾਹੂੰਸਰੀਰਰਹਿਓਜਦੁਬੀਰਤੇਆਦਿਕਬੀਰਪਰਾਏ॥੧੪੪੧॥
ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਧੀਰਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਆਦਿ (ਸਾਰੇ) ਸੂਰਵੀਰ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੪੪੧॥
No patience remained in the body of anyone and all the Yadava warriors ran away.1441.
ਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੇਭਾਜਤਹੀਛੁਟਧੀਰਗਯੋਬਰਬੀਰਨਕੋ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਭਜਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਮੀ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੀਰਜ ਡੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਅਤਿਬਿਆਕੁਲਬੁਧਿਨਿਰਾਕੁਲਹ੍ਵੈਲਖਿਲਾਗੇਹੈਘਾਇਸਰੀਰਨਕੋ॥
ਸ਼ਰੀਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ 'ਨਿਰਾਕੁਲ' (ਧੀਰਜਵਾਨ) ਵੀ ਅਤਿ ਵਿਆਕੁਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
After the quick departure of Krishna, all the warriors lost patience and they became greatly agitated and worried seeing the wounds on their bodies
ਸੁਧਵਾਇਕੈਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਭਾਜਿਚਲੇਡਰੁਮਾਨਿਘਨੋਅਰਿਤੀਰਨਕੋ॥
ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਕੇ (ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਖਿਸਕ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਨਆਪਨੇਕੋਸਮਝਾਵਤਸਿਆਮਤੈਕੀਨੋਹੈਕਾਮੁਅਹੀਰਨਕੋ॥੧੪੪੨॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਗਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੰਮ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ (ਛਤ੍ਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ) ॥੧੪੪੨॥
They got their chariots driven and for the fear of the shower of arrows, they ran away and considered in their mind that Krishna has not acted sagaciously in taking up war with Kharag Singh.1442.

ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਿਰ ਮੁੜ ਪਏ ਹਨ
ਜਾਦਵਸੈਨਾਸੰਗਿਲੈਪੁਨਿਆਏਰਨਧਾਮ॥੧੪੪੩॥
ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੧੪੪੩॥
Reflecting in his mind, Krishna returned again to the battlefield alongwth the Yadava army.1443.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲੈ।
ਜਾਮਦਿਵਸਕੇਰਹਤਹੀਡਾਰੋਤੋਹਿਸੰਘਾਰਿ॥੧੪੪੪॥
(ਇਕ) ਪਹਿਰ ਦਿਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਮੈਂ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ॥੧੪੪੪॥
Krishna said to Kharag Singh, “Now you hold up your sword, because I shall kill you, till one-fourth of the day still remains.1444.

ਕੋਪਕੈਬੈਨਕਹੈਖੜਗੇਸਕੋਸ੍ਰੀਹਰਿਜੂਧਨੁਬਾਨਨਲੈਕੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਬੋਲ ਕਹੇ,
ਚਾਮਕੇਦਾਮਚਲਾਇਲਏਤੁਮਹੂੰਰਨਮੈਮਨਕੋਨਿਰਭੈਕੈ॥
ਤੂੰ (ਹੁਣ ਤਕ) ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਭੈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਚੰਮ ਦੇ ਦੰਮ ਚਲਾ ਲਏ ਹਨ। (ਹੁਣ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ)
Taking his bow and arrows in his hands and in great fury, Krishna said to Kharag Singh, “You have fearlessly swayed the battlefield for a short while
ਮਤਿਕਰੀਗਰਬੈਤਬਲਉਜਬਲਉਮ੍ਰਿਗਰਾਜਗਹਿਓਨਰਿਸੈਕੈ॥
ਮਸਤ ਹਾਥੀ ਉਦੋਂ ਤਕ (ਬਨ ਵਿਚ) ਹੈਂਕੜ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੁਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
“The intoxicated elephant can only be proud till the lion in fury does not attack him
ਕਾਹੇਕਉਪ੍ਰਾਨਨਸੋਧਨਖੋਵਤਜਾਹੁਭਲੇਹਥਿਯਾਰਨਦੈਕੈ॥੧੪੪੫॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਧਨ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਲਈ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਹਥਿਆਰ ਸੁਟ ਕੇ ਸੁਖ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਜਾ ॥੧੪੪੫॥
Why do you want to lose your life? Run away and give your weapons to us.”1445.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਹਰਿਕੀਬਤੀਆਤਬਹੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਉਤਰਦੇਤਭਯੋਹੈ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਾਜਾ (ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ) ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਗਿਆ,
ਕਾਹੇਕਉਸੋਰਕਰੈਰਨਮੈਬਨਮੈਜਨੁਕਾਹੂਨੇਲੂਟਿਲਯੋਹੈ॥
(ਤੂੰ) ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਮਾਨੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਬਨ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਟ ਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
Hearing the words of Krishna, the king replied, “Why are you raising hue and cry in the battlefield like a looted individual in the forest
ਬੋਲਤਹੋਹਠਿਕੈਸਠਿਜਿਉਹਮਤੇਕਈਬਾਰਨਭਾਜਗਯੋਹੈ॥
ਮੂਰਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਹਠ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਗੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਭਜਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈਂ।
You are persistent like fools, though you have run away form the field several times before me
ਨਾਮਪਰਿਓਬ੍ਰਿਜਰਾਜਬ੍ਰਿਥਾਬਿਨਲਾਜਸਮਾਜਮੈਆਜੁਖਯੋਹੈ॥੧੪੪੬॥
(ਤੇਰਾ) 'ਬ੍ਰਿਜ-ਰਾਜ' ਨਾਂ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੈ (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਬਿਨਾ ਲਜਾ ਦੇ, (ਤੂੰ) ਅਜ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੧੪੪੬॥
Though you are called the Lord of Braja, but inspite of losing your respect, you are keeping your position in your society.1446.

ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! (ਤੂੰ) ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? (ਘਰ ਪਰਤ) ਜਾ, ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਸੁਖ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਜੀ ਲੈ।
“Why are you waging war in anger, O Krishna! come and live comfortably for a few days more
ਬੈਸਕਿਸੋਰਮਨੋਹਰਿਮੂਰਤਿਆਨਨਮੈਅਬਹੀਮਸਭੀਜੈ॥
(ਤੇਰੀ) ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹੈ, ਸ਼ਕਲ ਮਨਮੋਹਣੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖ ਉਤੇ ਮਸ ਫੁਟ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
You are still young will a beautiful face, you are still in early youth
ਜਾਈਐਧਾਮਿਸੁਨੋਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਬਿਸ੍ਰਾਮਕਰੋਸੁਖਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪੀਜੈ॥
ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਸੁਣੋ, ਘਰ ਜਾਓ, ਬਿਸਰਾਮ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਰੂਪ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦਾ ਪਾਨ ਕਰੋ।
“O Krishna! go to your home, take rest and live in peace
ਨਾਹਕਪ੍ਰਾਨਤਜੋਰਨਮੈਅਪੁਨੇਪਿਤਮਾਤਅਨਾਥਨਕੀਜੈ॥੧੪੪੭॥
ਵਿਅਰਥ ਵਿਚ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਨਾ ਤਿਆਗੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਨਾਥ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ॥੧੪੪੭॥
Do not deprive your parents of your support by losing your life in the war.1447.
ਕਾਹੇਕਉਕਾਨ੍ਰਹਅਯੋਧਨਮੈਹਠਕੈਹਮਸੋਰਨਦੁੰਦਮਚੈਹੋ॥
ਹੇ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ! (ਤੂੰ) ਕਿਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹਠ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਅੰਦ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
“Why are you waging war with me with persistence? O Krishna! uselessly
ਜੁਧਕੀਬਾਤਬੁਰੀਸਬਤੇਹਰਿਕ੍ਰੁਧਕੀਏਨਕਛੂਫਲੁਪੈਹੋ॥
ਹੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ! ਸਭ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਮਾੜੀ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।
The war is a very bad thing and you will not gain anything by getting enraged
ਜਾਨਤਹੋਅਬਯਾਰਨਮੈਹਮਸੋਲਰਿਕੈਤੁਮਜੀਤਨਜੈਹੋ॥
(ਇਹ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ) ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਇਸ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜ ਕੇ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
“You know that you cannot win this war over me, therefore run away instantly,
ਜਾਹੁਤੋਭਾਜਕੈਜਾਹੁਅਬੈਨਹੀਅੰਤਕੋਅੰਤਕੇਧਾਮਿਸਿਧੈਹੋ॥੧੪੪੮॥
ਜੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਚਲਾ ਜਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਅੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਮ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਏਂਗਾ ॥੧੪੪੮॥
Otherwise ultimately you will have to go to the abode of Yama.”1448.
ਯੌਸੁਨਿਕੈਹਰਿਚਾਪਲਯੋਕਰਿਤਾਨਕੈਬਾਨਕਉਖੈਚਚਲਾਯੋ॥
(ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀਆਂ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ (ਗੱਲਾਂ) ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਚਲਾਇਆ।
Hearing these words, Krishna took his bow in hi hand and pulling it, he discharged an arrow
ਭੂਪਤਿਕਉਹਰਿਘਾਇਲਕੀਨੋਹੈਸ੍ਰੀਪਤਕਉਨ੍ਰਿਪਘਾਇਲਗਾਯੋ॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Krishna inflicted a wound on the king and the king on Krishna
ਬੀਰਦੁਹੂੰਤਿਹਠਉਰਬਿਖੈਕਬਿਰਾਮਭਨੈਅਤਿਜੁਧੁਮਚਾਯੋ॥
ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦੋਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰੀ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ।
The warriors or both the sides waged a dreadful war
ਬਾਨਅਪਾਰਚਲੇਦੁਹੂੰਓਰਤੇਅਭ੍ਰਨਜਿਉਦਿਵਮੰਡਲਛਾਯੋ॥੧੪੪੯॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਪਾਰ ਤੀਰ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਬਦਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਢਕ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੪੯॥
There was an enormous shower of arrows from both sides and it appeared that the clouds have spread over the sky.1449.
ਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਸਹਾਇਕੇਕਾਜਜਿਨੋਬਰਬੀਰਨਤੀਰਚਲਾਏ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਾਣ ਚਲਾਏ ਹਨ,
ਭੂਪਤਿਏਕਨਬਾਨਲਗਿਯੋਲਖਿਦੂਰਿਤੇਬਾਨਨਸੋਬਹੁਘਾਏ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਇਕ ਵੀ ਤੀਰ ਰਾਜਾ (ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ) ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਗਿਆ, ਸਗੋਂ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਦੂਰੋਂ ਹੀ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The arrows discharged by the other warriors for the help of Krishna, none of them hit the king, buyt they were them selves killed by the distant arrows
ਧਾਇਪਰੀਬਹੁਜਾਦਵਸੈਨਧਵਾਇਕੈਸ੍ਯੰਦਨਚਾਪਚਢਾਏ॥
ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਰਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਜਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਤੀਰ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਇਕੋ ਵਾਰ ਹੱਲਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਰਾਜੇ ਉਤੇ) ਜਾ ਪਈ।

ਸਿਆਮ (ਕਵੀ) ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੈਦਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੫੦॥

ਏਕਗਿਰੇਤਜਿਪ੍ਰਾਨਨਕੋਰਨਕੀਛਿਤਮੈਅਤਿਜੁਧੁਮਚੈਕੈ॥
ਕਈ ਇਕ (ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰ) ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ (ਆਖੀਰ ਨੂੰ) ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Some of them became lifeless and fell in the battlefield and some of them fled away
ਏਕਗਏਭਜਿਕੈਇਕਘਾਇਲਏਕਲਰੇਮਨਿਕੋਪੁਬਢੈਕੈ॥
ਕਈ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਕਈ ਘਾਇਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Some of them were wounded and some of the m kept fighting in anger
ਤਉਨ੍ਰਿਪਲੈਕਰਮੈਕਰਵਾਰਦੀਯੋਬਹੁਖੰਡਨਖੰਡਨਕੈਕੈ॥
ਤਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਟੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

(ਅਸਲੋਂ) ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਮਾਸ਼ੂਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਸਾਰੇ ਆਸ਼ਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੪੫੧॥
