ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ ॥੧੪੭੦॥
Taking his bow and arrows in his hands, he killed many enemies.1470.
ਕ੍ਰੂਰਕਰਮਇਕਰਾਛਸਨਾਮਾ॥
'ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਕਰਮ' ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਰਾਖਸ਼ ਸੀ
ਜਿਨਜੀਤੇਆਗੇਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਾ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਗੇ (ਕਈ) ਯੁੱਧ ਜਿਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
There was a demon named Krurkaram, who had conquered many wars
ਸੋਤਬਹੀਨ੍ਰਿਪਸਾਮੁਹੇਗਯੋ॥
ਉਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ
ਅਤਿਹੀਜੂਝਦੁਹੁਨਕੋਭਯੋ॥੧੪੭੧॥
ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ॥੧੪੭੧॥
He went before Kharag Singh and both the heroes were engaged in a terrible war.1471.

ਆਯੁਧਲੈਸਬਹੀਆਪਣੇਜਬਹੀਵਹਭੂਪਤਿਸੰਗਅਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੜ ਖੜੋਤਾ।
ਜੁਧਅਨੇਕਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਕੀਯੋਰਨਕੀਛਿਤਤੇਕੋਊਨਹਿਟਰਿਓਹੈ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਾ ਹਟਿਆ।
When, taking his weapons, he firmly resisted the king, he fought in many ways and no one retraced his steps from the battlefield
ਤੌਨ੍ਰਿਪਲੈਕਰਮੈਅਸਿਕੋਰਿਪੁਮੂੰਡਕਟਿਓਗਿਰਭੂਮਿਪਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਤਦ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
The king taking his sword in his hand, killed the enemy and his head fell on the earth
ਦੇਹਛੁਟਿਯੋਨਹੀਕੋਪਹਟਿਓਨਿਜਓਠਕੇਦਾਤਨਸੋਪਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥੧੪੭੨॥
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਛੁਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਿਆ ਹੈ। (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਹੋਠਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਕੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੭੨॥
Through he had breathed his last, but his anger did not subside even then, he had pressed his lip within his teeth.1472.

ਅਸੁਰਨਕੀਸੈਨਾਹੁਤੀਦਾਨਵਨਿਕਸਿਓਔਰ॥੧੪੭੩॥
(ਤਦ) ਦੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਦੈਂਤ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਇਆ ॥੧੪੭੩॥
When Karurkaram was knocked down in the battlefield by Kharag Singh, then another demon came out of the army of demons.1473.

ਕ੍ਰੂਰਦੈਤਜਿਹਨਾਮਵਡੋਦੈਤਬਲਵੰਡਅਤਿ॥
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ 'ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਦੈਂਤ' ਸੀ, (ਉਹ) ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਦੈਂਤ ਸੀ।
This demon named Karurdaitya was extremely powerful, he had earlier fought in several battles
ਆਗੇਬਹੁਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਲਰਿਓਅਰਿਓਨਾਹਿਨਡਰਿਓ॥੧੪੭੪॥
(ਉਹ) ਅਗੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਯੁੱਧ ਲੜ ਚੁਕਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ (ਕਦੇ) ਡਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ॥੧੪੭੪॥
He confronted the king with firmness and did not fear even slightly.1474.

ਕ੍ਰੂਰਕਰਮਬਧਨੈਨਨਿਹਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) 'ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਕਰਮ' ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਦਾ ਵੇਖਿਆ
ਤਬਹੀਅਪਨੋਖੜਗਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ (ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਦੈਂਤ ਨੇ) ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ
When he saw the killing of Karurkaram with his own eyes, he held up his sword
ਕ੍ਰੂਰਦੈਤਰਿਸਿਨ੍ਰਿਪਪਰਧਾਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉਤੇ ਧਾਵਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ,
ਮਾਨੋਕਾਲਮੇਘਉਮਡਾਯੋ॥੧੪੭੫॥
(ਜੋ ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ) ਮਾਨੋ ਕਾਲ ਰੂਪ ਬਦਲ ਉਮਡ ਕੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੪੭੫॥
Now Karurdaitya fell upon the king, getting enraged, and it seemed that the death-like cloud had gushed out.1475.
ਆਵਤਹੀਤਿਹਭੂਪਪਚਾਰਿਓ॥
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਲਲਕਾਰਿਆ
ਜਾਹੁਕਹਾਮੁਝਬੰਧੁਪਛਾਰਿਓ॥
ਕਿ (ਹੁਣ) ਜਾਂਦਾ ਕਿਥੇ ਹੈਂ? ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ (ਤੂੰ) ਮਾਰ ਸੁਟਿਆ ਹੈ।
On coming, he challenged the king, “Where are you going after killing my brother?
ਹਉਤੁਮਸੋਅਬਜੁਧਮਚੈਹੋ॥
ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ
ਭ੍ਰਾਤਗਯੋਜਹਿਤੋਹਿਪਠੈਹੋ॥੧੪੭੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਜਿਥੇ (ਮੇਰਾ) ਭਰਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, (ਉਥੇ ਹੀ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ ॥੧੪੭੬॥
Now I shall fight with you and shall dispatch you there where my brother has gone.”1476.
ਯੌਕਹਿਕੈਤਬਖੜਗਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਤਦ ਖੜਗ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ
ਅਤਿਪ੍ਰਚੰਡਬਲਕੋਪਿਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਓ॥
ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
Saying this, he held up his sword and getting enraged, he struck a terrible blow
ਭੂਪਤਿਲਖਿਓਕਾਟਿਅਸਿਦੀਨੋ॥
(ਜਦੋਂ) ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ (ਵਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ) ਵੇਖਿਆ (ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ (ਖੜਗ ਨੂੰ) ਕਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ
ਸੋਊਮਾਰਿਰਨਭੀਤਰਿਲੀਨੋ॥੧੪੭੭॥
ਅਤੇ ਉਸ (ਦੈਂਤ) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੪੭੭॥
The king saw this and cutting his sword, he knocked him also in the field.1477.

(ਜਦੋਂ) 'ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਕਰਮ' ਅਤੇ 'ਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਦੈਂਤ' ਦੋਵੇਂ ਯਮਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ
Karurdaitya and Karurkarma both reached the abode of Yama
ਸੈਨਾਤਿਨਕੀਸਸਤ੍ਰਲੈਘੇਰਿਓਨ੍ਰਿਪਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮਿ॥੧੪੭੮॥
(ਤਦੋਂ) ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਯੁੱਧ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੧੪੭੮॥
The king taking his weapons, besieged their army in the battlefield.1478.

ਰੋਸਕੀਓਤਿਨਹੂੰਮਨਮੈਜੋਉਦੈਤਬਚੇਨ੍ਰਿਪਊਪਰਧਾਏ॥
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਬਚੇ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਉਪਰ ਹੱਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
The demons who had survived, fell upon the king
ਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਗਦਾਬਰਛੀਅਗਨਾਯੁਧਲੈਕਰਿਕੋਪਬਢਾਏ॥
ਬਾਣ, ਕਮਾਨ, ਗਦਾ, ਬਰਛੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਨੀ-ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ (ਬੰਦੂਕ) ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ (ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ)।
They had arrows, swords, maces, lances and fire-arms in their hands
ਤੌਨ੍ਰਿਪਤੀਰਸਰਾਸਨੁਲੈਸਭਆਵਤਬਾਟਮੈਕਾਟਿਗਿਰਾਏ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਤੀਰ-ਕਮਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ) ਆਉਂਦੇ (ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ-ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਸੁਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
The king, with his bow and arrows, chopped them midway and
ਆਪਨੇਕਾਢਿਨਿਖੰਗਹੁਤੇਸਰਸਤ੍ਰਨਕੇਉਰਬੀਚਲਗਾਏ॥੧੪੭੯॥
ਆਪਣੇ ਭੱਥੇ ਵਿਚੋ ਤੀਰ ਕਢ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੭੯॥
Taking the arrows out of his quiver, pierced their chests.1479.

ਤਬਸਭਸਤ੍ਰਭਾਜਕੈਗਏ॥
ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਭਜ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ
ਕੋਊਸਨਮੁਖਹੋਤਨਪਏ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ।
Then all the enemies ran away and none of them stayed before him
ਅਧਿਕਦੈਤਜਮਲੋਕਿਪਠਾਏ॥
ਬਹੁਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਯਮਲੋਕ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤੇ
ਜੀਅਤਿਰਹੇਰਨਤ੍ਯਾਗਿਪਰਾਏ॥੧੪੮੦॥
ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ, ਉਹ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ॥੧੪੮੦॥
Many demons were killed and those who survived, they ran away the war-arena.1480.

ਭਾਜਗਏਸਬਦੈਤਜਬੈਤਬਭੂਪਰਿਸਿਓਹਰਿਕੋਸਰਮਾਰੇ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੈਂਤ ਭਜ ਗਏ ਤਦੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰੇ। ਕਵੀ ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ,
When all the demons ran away, the king, in great fury,
ਲਾਗਤਹੀਕਵਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਤਨਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਕੋਚੀਰਪਧਾਰੇ॥
(ਬਾਣ) ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
Showered his arrows on Krishna, which pierced his body and came out from the other side,
ਬੇਧਿਕੈਔਰਨਕੇਤਨਕੋਪੁਨਿਔਰਨਜਾਇਲਗੇਸੁਸੰਘਾਰੇ॥
ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ, ਫਿਰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਮਾਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
And then piercing the bodies of other persons, they penetrated into bodies of others
ਦੇਖਹੁਪਉਰਖਭੂਪਤਿਕੋਅਬਆਪਹੈਏਕਅਨੇਕਬਿਦਾਰੇ॥੧੪੮੧॥
ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਵੇਖੋ ਜੋ ਹੁਣ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੮੧॥
Look at the courage of the king, though he himself is alone, but he is killing many.1481.
