ਕੋਪਕੀਏਸਬਸਸਤ੍ਰਲੀਏਕਰਮੈਮਿਲਕੈਤਿਹਪੈਤਬਆਏ॥
ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ (ਰਾਜੇ) ਉਪਰ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਏ ਹਨ।
In great rage, taking their weapons in their hands, all of them together fell upon the king
ਭੂਪਨਿਖੰਗਤੇਕਾਢਕੈਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕੋਤਾਨਿਸੁਖੈਚਚਲਾਏ॥
ਰਾਜਾ ਭੱਥੇ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬਾਣ ਕਢ ਕੇ, ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤਣ ਕੇ ਖਿਚ ਖਿਚ ਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
The king, taking out the arrows from his quiver, discharged them, pulling his bow
ਹੋਤਭਏਬਿਰਥੀਬਿਨੁਸੂਤਘਨੇਤਬਹੀਜਮਲੋਕਿਪਠਾਏ॥
ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ (ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ) ਰਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਥਵਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਖਣਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਯਮ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
The warriors and charioteers were deprived of their chariots and the king dispatched them to the abode of Yama
ਠਾਢੋਨਕੋਊਰਹਿਓਤਿਹਠੌਰਸਬੈਗਨਕਿੰਨਰਜਛਪਰਾਏ॥੧੪੯੩॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ; ਸਾਰੇ ਗਣ, ਕਿੰਨਰ, ਯਕਸ਼ ਆਦਿ (ਯੁੱਧ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੪੯੩॥
None of them could stay at that place all the Yakshas and Kinnars fled away.1493.
ਰੋਸਘਨੋਨਲਕੂਬਰਕੈਸੁਫਿਰਿਯੋਲਰਬੇਕਹੁਬੀਰਬੁਲਾਏ॥
ਨਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਬਰ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੂਰਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Then, in his fury, Nalkoober called his warriors for fighting
ਸਉਹੇਕੁਬੇਰਭਯੋਧਨੁਲੈਸਰਜਛਜਿਤੇਮਿਲਕੈਪੁਨਿਆਏ॥
ਕੁਬੇਰ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਤਨੇ ਯਕਸ਼ ਸਨ (ਉਹ ਵੀ) ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਫਿਰ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
Kuber also stood there keeping his wealth in safety, all the Yakshas then came collectively
ਮਾਰਹੀਮਾਰਪੁਕਾਰਿਪਰੇਸਬਹੀਕਰਮੈਅਸਿਲੈਚਮਕਾਏ॥
ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚਮਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਾਨਹੁਸ੍ਰੀਖੜਗੇਸਕੇਊਪਰਿਦੰਡਲੀਏਜਮਕੇਗਨਧਾਏ॥੧੪੯੪॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਖੜਗ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਪਰ ਯਮ ਗਣ ਡੰਡੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆ ਪਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੪੯੪॥
Shouting “kill, kill” they gleamed their swords and it seemed that the ganas of Yama and attacked Kharag Singh, carrying their staff of death.1494.

ਜਬਕੁਬੇਰਕੋਸਬਦਲੁਆਯੋ॥
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਲ (ਉਥੇ) ਆ ਗਿਆ,
ਤਬਨ੍ਰਿਪਮਨਮੈਕੋਪਬਢਾਯੋ॥
ਤਦੋਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਆ ਗਿਆ।
When the whole army of Kuber came, the anger increased in the mind of the king
ਨਿਜਕਰਮੈਧਨੁਬਾਨਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੇ) ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਧਨੁਸ਼-ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ
ਅਗਨਤਦਲੁਇਕਪਲਮੈਮਾਰਿਓ॥੧੪੯੫॥
ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ (ਵੈਰੀ) ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ॥੧੪੯੫॥
He held up the bow and arrows in his hands and killed innumerable soldiers in an instant.1495.

ਜਛਸੈਨਬਲਬੰਡਨ੍ਰਿਪਜਮਪੁਰਦਈਪਠਾਇ॥
ਬਲਵਾਨ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਯਕਸ਼ ਸੈਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਮਪੁਰੀ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ
ਨਲਕੂਬਰਘਾਇਲਕੀਓਅਤਿਜੀਯਕੋਪੁਬਢਾਇ॥੧੪੯੬॥
ਅਤੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਨਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੯੬॥
The mighty army of the Yakshas was dispatched to the abode of Yama by the king and getting enraged, wounded Nalkoober.1496.
ਜਬਕੁਬੇਰਕੇਉਰਬਿਖੈਮਾਰਿਓਤੀਛਨਬਾਨ॥
ਜਦ (ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ) ਕੁਬੇਰ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਤਿਖਾ ਬਾਣ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
ਲਾਗਤਸਰਕੇਸਟਕਿਓਛੂਟਿਗਯੋਸਬਮਾਨ॥੧੪੯੭॥
ਬਾਣ ਦੇ ਲਗਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ (ਉਹ) ਭਜ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ॥੧੪੯੭॥
Then the king inflicted a sharp arrow in the chest of Kuber, which made him run away and all his pride was shattered.1497.

ਸੈਨਾਸਹਿਤਸਬੈਭਜਗਯੋ॥
ਸੈਨਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਜ ਗਏ
ਠਾਢੋਨਕੋਰਨਭੀਤਰਭਯੋ॥
ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਖੜੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
All of them ran away alongwith the army and none of them kept standing there
ਮਨਿਕੁਬੇਰਅਤਿਤ੍ਰਾਸਬਢਾਯੋ॥
ਕੁਬੇਰ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਡਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਜੁਧਕਰਨਚਿਤਿਬਹੁਰਨਭਾਯੋ॥੧੪੯੮॥
ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੪੯੮॥
Kuber was extremely frightened in his mind and his desire to fight again ended.1498.
