ਬਹੁਸੁੰਦਰਤਾਰਮਾਦਈਤਿਨਬਿਮਲਅਮਲਮਤਿ॥
ਰਮਾ (ਲੱਛਮੀ) ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੀ) ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਜਲੀ ਹੈ।
Lakshmi gave him the beauty of the body and pure intellect
ਗਰਮਾਸਿਧਿਗਨੇਸਸ੍ਰਿੰਗਰਿਖਿਸਿੰਘਨਾਦਦੀਯ॥
ਗਣੇਸ਼ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਗਰਿਮਾ ਸਿੱਧੀ (ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ) ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿੰਗੀ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ 'ਸਿੰਘਨਾਦ' ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Ganesh gave him the miraculous power of garima (heaviness) and the sage Shringi gave the roaring sound of the lion
ਕਰਤਅਧਿਕਘਮਸਾਨਇਹੈਘਨਸ੍ਯਾਮਹੇਤਕੀਯ॥
ਇਹ ਅਤਿ ਘਮਸਾਨ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) 'ਘਨਸ਼ਿਆਮ' ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
Ghanshyam gave him the power to wage dreadful war
ਇਹਬਿਧਿਪ੍ਰਕਾਸਭੂਪਤਿਕੀਯੋਸੁਨਿਹਲਧਰਇਮਭਾਖਿਯੋ॥
ਇਸ ਜੁਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਬਲਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ,
ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥਅਨਾਥਸਨਾਥਤੁਮਬਡੋਸਤ੍ਰੁਰਨਮਧਿਹਯੋ॥੧੭੨੯॥
ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਜਨਾਥ! ਤੁਸੀਂ (ਅਸਾਂ) ਅਨਾਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਾਥ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਇਤਨੇ) ਵਡੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੨੯॥
“O Balram! as I have told you, the king took birth like this.” Then Balram said, “You are with the helpless people like us and you have destroyed today a very great enemy.”1729.

ਪੁਨਿਬੋਲਿਓਬ੍ਰਿਜਚੰਦਸੰਕਰਖਨਸੋਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਕਰਿ॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਿਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਬਲਰਾਮ ('ਸੰਕਰਖਨ') ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗੇ
ਜਾਦਵਇਕਮਤਿਮੰਦਗਰਬਕਰੈਬਹੁਭੁਜਾਕੋ॥੧੭੩੦॥
ਕਿ (ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ) ਇਕ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੰਦ-ਮਤਿ ਵਾਲੇ ਯਾਦਵ ਹਨ (ਜੋ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ) ਭੁਜਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੩੦॥
Then Krishna gracefully said to Balram, “The Yadava forces are under the impact of bad intellect and they are proud of the strength of their arms.1730.

ਜਾਦਵਬੰਸਮਾਨਭਯੋਭਾਰੀ॥
ਯਾਦਵ ਬੰਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ,
ਰਾਮਸ੍ਯਾਮਹਮਰੇਰਖਵਾਰੀ॥
(ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਬਲਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਰਖਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ।
“Yadavas had become proud because of the patronage of Balram and Krishna
ਡੀਠਆਨਕੋਆਨਤਨਾਹੀ॥
(ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਤਾਕੋਫਲੁਪਾਯੋਜਗਮਾਹੀ॥੧੭੩੧॥
ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਫਲ (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੩੧॥
For this reason they did not consider anyone equal to them, they have now reaped the reward of this weakness.1731.
ਗਰਬਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੀਸ੍ਰੀਧਰਿਜਾਨੋ॥
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਝੋ।
ਮੇਰੋਕਹਿਯੋਸਾਚੁਕਰਿਮਾਨੋ॥
ਮੇਰੇ ਕਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਚ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੰਨੋ।
“The Lord destroys the ego, consider this saying of mine as trues
ਤਿਹਕੇਹੇਤਭੂਪਅਉਤਰਿਯੋ॥
ਉਸੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਜਨਮ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਹਬਿਧਿਜਾਨਬਿਧਾਤਾਕਰਿਯੋ॥੧੭੩੨॥
ਇਹ ਜੁਗਤ ਜਾਣ ਬੁਝ ਕੇ ਵਿਧਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੩੨॥
And for the sake of destroying the ego, the providence had incarnated this king.1732.
ਦੋਹਰਾ॥
ਦੋਹਰਾ:

ਕਹਾਰੰਕਭੂਪਾਲਏਕਰਿਓਇਤੋਸੰਗ੍ਰਾਮ॥
ਇਹ ਕੰਗਲਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੀ ਹੈ? ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਤਨਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
“This poor king waged such a great war
ਜਾਦਵਗਰਬਬਿਨਾਸਹਿਤਉਪਜਾਯੋਸ੍ਰੀਰਾਮ॥੧੭੩੩॥
ਯਾਦਵ ਕੁਲ ਦੇ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ (ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੩੩॥
The Lord had created him to destroy the pride of the Yadavas.1733.

ਜਾਦਵਕੁਲਤੇਗਰਬਨਗਯੋ॥
(ਪਰ) ਯਾਦਵ ਕੁਲ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਨਕੇਨਾਮਹੇਤਰਿਖਿਭਯੋ॥
(ਇਸ ਲਈ) ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਲਈ ਇਕ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
“The Yadava clan has still not been destroyed and for their destruction, a sage has been born,
ਦੁਖਕੈਸ੍ਰਾਪਮੁਨੀਸੁਰਦੈਹੈ॥
(ਉਸ ਨੂੰ) ਦੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੁਨੀਸ਼੍ਵਰ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ
