ਮੂਸਲਲੈਮੁਸਲੀਕਰਮੈਅਰਿਕੋਪਲਮੈਦਲਪੁੰਜਹਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਬਲਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਮੂਸਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Balram taking his mace in his hand, killed a group of enemies in an instant
ਬੀਰਪਰੇਧਰਨੀਪਰਘਾਇਲਸ੍ਰਉਨਤਸਿਉਤਨਤਾਹਿਭਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਯੋਧੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਘਾਇਲ ਹੋਏ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
The warriors with blood-saturated bodies, are lying wounded on the earth
ਤਾਛਬਿਕੋਜਸੁਉਚਮਹਾਮਨਬੀਚਬਿਚਾਰਕੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ (ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ (ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ,
The poet Shyam, while describing that spectacle says that it appears to him
ਮਾਨਹੁਦੇਖਨਕਉਰਨਕਉਤੁਕਕ੍ਰੋਧਭਿਆਨਕਰੂਪਧਰਿਓਹੈ॥੧੭੬੬॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਕੌਤਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਰੂਪ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇ ॥੧੭੬੬॥
That the ‘anger’ had manifested himself apparently in order to see the war-scenes.1766.
ਇਤਓਰਹਲਾਯੁਧਜੁਧੁਕਰੈਉਤਸ੍ਰੀਗਰੜਧੁਜਕੋਪਭਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਇਧਰੋਂ ਬਲਰਾਮ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਧਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
On this side Balram is engged in fighting and on that side Krishna is getting filled with rage
ਸਸਤ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਮੁਰਾਰਿਤਬੈਅਰਿਸੈਨਕੇਭੀਤਰਜਾਇਅਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਡਟੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
Taking up his weapons, he is resisting the enemy’s army,
ਮਾਰਿਬਿਦਾਰਦਏਦਲਕਉਰਨਯਾਬਿਧਿਚਿਤ੍ਰਬਚਿਤ੍ਰਕਰਿਓਹੈ॥
ਯੁੱਧ ਇਸ ਢੰਗ (ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯੁੱਧ ਦੀ) ਵਿਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਤਸਵੀਰਕਸ਼ੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
And killing the army of the enemy, he has created a queer scene
ਬਾਜਪੈਬਾਜਰਥੀਰਥਪੈਗਜਪੈਗਜਸ੍ਵਾਰਪੈਸ੍ਵਾਰਪਰਿਓਹੈ॥੧੭੬੭॥
ਘੋੜੇ ਉਤੇ ਘੋੜਾ, ਰਥ ਉਤੇ ਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਉਤੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਉਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਡਿਗਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੬੭॥
The horse is seen lying on the horse, the chariot-rider on the chariot-rider, elephant upon the elephant and the rider on the rider.1767.
ਏਕਕਟੇਅਧਬੀਚਹੁੰਤੇਭਟਏਕਨਕੇਸਿਰਕਾਟਿਗਿਰਾਏ॥
ਇਕ (ਸੂਰਮੇ) ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚਾਲਿਓਂ ਕਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਨਾਂ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਕਟ ਕੇ ਸੁਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
Some warriors is cut into two halves, the heads of many warriors have been chopped and thrown
ਏਕਕੀਏਬਿਰਥੀਤਬਹੀਗਿਰਭੂਮਿਪਰੇਸੰਗਿਬਾਨਨਘਾਏ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਥ-ਹੀਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਘਾਇਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Many are lying wounded on the earth, being deprived of their chariots
ਏਕਕੀਏਕਰਹੀਨਬਲੀਪਗਹੀਨਕਿਤੇਗਨਤੀਨਹਿਆਏ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝਿਆਂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਤਨੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀਨ (ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ) ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ।
Many people have lost their hands and many their feet
ਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਨੈਕਿਨਹੂੰਨਹੀਧੀਰਧਰਿਓਤਬਹੀਰਨਛਾਡਿਪਰਾਏ॥੧੭੬੮॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਧੀਰਜ ਧਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਤਦੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਛਡ ਕੇ ਭਜ ਚਲੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੬੮॥
They can’t be enumerated, the poet says that all have lost their endurance and all have run away from the war-arena.1768.
ਜਾਦਲਜੀਤਲਯੋਸਿਗਰੇਜਗੁਅਉਰਕਹੂੰਰਨਤੇਨਹੀਹਾਰਿਓ॥
ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਜਿਤ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਰਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ,
The army of the enemy, which had conquered the whole world and was never defeated
ਇੰਦ੍ਰਸੇਭੂਪਅਨੇਕਮਿਲੇਤਿਨਤੇਕਬਹੂੰਨਹੀਜਾਪਗੁਟਾਰਿਓ॥
ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਦਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਕਦਮ ਪਿਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਟਾਏ ਸਨ।
This army had fought against it in unison
ਸੋਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਭਜਾਇਦੀਯੋਪਲਮੈਨਕਿਨੂੰਧਨੁਬਾਨਸੰਭਾਰਿਓ॥
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਪਲ ਵਿਚ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਬਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
The same army has been caused to flee by Krishna in an instant and none could even take up his bow and arrows
ਦੇਵਅਦੇਵਕਰੈਉਪਮਾਇਮਸ੍ਰੀਜਦੁਬੀਰਬਡੋਰਨਪਾਰਿਓ॥੧੭੬੯॥
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਮਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੈਂਤ (ਦੋਵੇਂ) ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੬੯॥
The gods and demons both are appreciating the war of Krishna.1769.

ਦ੍ਵੈਅਛੂਹਨੀਸੈਨਰਨਿਦਈਸ੍ਯਾਮਜਬਘਾਇ॥
ਜਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਅਛੋਹਣੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਰਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ,
ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀਸੁਮਤਿਸਮੇਤਦਲੁਕੋਪਪਰਿਓਅਰਰਾਇ॥੧੭੭੦॥
(ਤਦ) ਸੁਮਤਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦਲ ਸਮੇਤ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਰੜਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ॥੧੭੭੦॥
When Krishna destroyed two extremely large military units, then the minister Sumati, challenging in anger, fell upon him.1770.

ਧਾਇਪਰੇਕਰਿਕੋਪਤਬੈਭਟਦੈਮੁਖਢਾਲਲਏਕਰਵਾਰੈ॥
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ (ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ) ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤੇ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਸਾਮੁਹੇਆਇਹਠੀਹਠਿਸਿਉਘਨਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹਾਇਹਭਾਤਿਹਕਾਰੈ॥
ਹਠੀ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਹਠ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਾਹਮਣਿਓਂ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ (ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ) ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, 'ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕਿਥੇ ਹੈ?'
The warriors getting enraged, taking up the swords and shields in their hands fell upon Krishna, who challenged them and they persistently came in front of him
ਮੂਸਲਚਕ੍ਰਗਦਾਗਹਿਕੈਸੁਹਤੈਹਰਿਕੌਚਉਠੈਚਿਨਗਾਰੈ॥
ਮੂਸਲ, ਚੱਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਦਾ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਕਵਚ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਚਿਣਗਾਂ ਨਿਕਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
On this side, Krishna, catching hold of his club, discus, mace etc. in his hands, struck terrible blows and the sparks emanated from the armours
ਮਾਨੋਲੁਹਾਰਲੀਏਘਨਹਾਥਨਲੋਹਕਰੇਰੇਕੋਕਾਮਸਵਾਰੈ॥੧੭੭੧॥
(ਇੰਜ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮਾਨੋ ਲੁਹਾਰ ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ ਵਦਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕਠੋਰ ਲੋਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਸੰਵਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੭੧॥
It appeared that an ironsmith was fashioning according to his desire the iron by the strokes of his hammer.1771
ਤਉਲਗਹੀਬਰਮਾਕ੍ਰਿਤਊਧਵਆਏਹੈਸ੍ਯਾਮਸਹਾਇਕੇਕਾਰਨ॥
ਉਦੋਂ ਤਕ ਬਰਮਾਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਊਧਵ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਏ ਹਨ
Till that time, Kratvarma and Uddhava reached for the help of Krishna
ਅਉਰਅਕ੍ਰੂਰਲਏਸੰਗਜਾਦਵਧਾਇਪਰਿਓਅਰਬੀਰਬਿਦਾਰਨ॥
ਅਤੇ ਅਕ੍ਰੂਰ ਹੋਰ ਯਾਦਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਧਾ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Akrur also taking the Yadava warriors with him fell upon the enemies in order to kill them
ਸਸਤ੍ਰਸੰਭਾਰਿਸਭੈਅਪੁਨੇਕਬਿਸ੍ਯਾਮਕਹੈਮੁਖਮਾਰਿਉਚਾਰਨ॥
ਕਵੀ ਸ਼ਿਆਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਰੋ-ਮਾਰੋ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਓਰਦੁਹੂੰਅਤਿਜੁਧੁਭਯੋਸੁਗਦਾਬਰਛੀਕਰਵਾਰਿਕਟਾਰਨ॥੧੭੭੨॥
ਦੋਹਾਂ ਪਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਗਦਾ, ਬਰਛੀ, ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਟਾਰ (ਆਦਿ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ) ਦਾ ਤਕੜਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੭੨॥
Holding their weapons and should “kill, kill”, a dreadful war was waged from both sides with maces, lances swords, daggers etc.1772.
ਆਵਤਹੀਬਰਮਾਕ੍ਰਿਤਜੂਅਰਿਸੈਨਹੁਤੇਸੁਘਨੇਭਟਕੂਟੇ॥
ਬਰਮਾਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਯੋਧੇ ਕੁਟ ਸੁਟੇ ਹਨ।
Kratvarma on coming chopped down many warriors
ਏਕਪਰੇਬਿਬਖੰਡਤਹੀਅਰਿਏਕਗਿਰੇਧਰਪੈਸਿਰਫੂਟੇ॥
ਇਕ ਤਾਂ ਦੋ ਟੋਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਥੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਫੁਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ।
Someone has been cut into two parts and someone’s head has been cut down
ਏਕਮਹਾਬਲਵਾਨਕਮਾਨਨਤਾਨਿਚਲਾਵਤਇਉਸਰਛੂਟੇ॥
ਇਕ ਮਹਾ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਕਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਣ ਛੁਟਦੇ ਹਨ,
From the bows of several powerful warriors the arrows are being discharged in this way
ਕਾਜਬਸੇਰੇਕੇਰੈਨਸਮੇਮਧਿਆਨਮਨੋਤਰੁਪੈਖਗਟੂਟੇ॥੧੭੭੩॥
ਮਾਨੋ ਰੈਣ ਬਸੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਪੰਛੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ('ਮਧਿਆਨ') ਤੋਂ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਉਤੇ ਟੁਟ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ ॥੧੭੭੩॥
That it seems the birds are flying groups towards the trees for rest in the evening before the night falls.1773.
ਏਕਕਬੰਧਲੀਏਕਰਵਾਰਿਫਿਰੈਰਨਭੂਮਿਕੇਭੀਤਰਡੋਲਤ॥
ਇਕਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਧੜ (ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ) ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਵਿਚ ਭਜੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Somewhere the headless trunks are roaming in the battlefield taking the swords in their hands and
ਧਾਇਪਰੈਤਿਹਓਰਬਲੀਭਟਜੋਤਿਹਕੋਲਲਕਾਰਕੈਬੋਲਤ॥
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਲਕਾਰਾ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤਾਂ) ਉਹ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਯੋਧੇ ਉਸ ਵਲ ਟੁਟ ਕੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Whosoever challenging in the field, the warriors fall upon him
ਏਕਪਰੇਗਿਰਪਾਇਕਟੇਉਠਬੇਕਹੁਬਾਹਨਕੋਬਲੁਤੋਲਤ॥
ਇਕ ਪੈਰ ਕਟੇ ਜਾਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਡਿਗੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਠਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਂਹਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਲਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Someone has fallen because his foot has been cut and for getting up, he is taking the support of the vehicle and s
ਏਕਕਟੀਭੁਜਯੌਤਰਫੈਜਲਹੀਨਜਿਉਮੀਨਪਰਿਓਝਕਝੋਲਤ॥੧੭੭੪॥
ਇਕ (ਥਾਂ ਉਤੇ) ਕਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਬਾਂਹ ਇੰਜ ਤੜਫ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਨਿਰੇ ਚਿਕੜ ਨੂੰ) ਮੱਛਲੀ ਰਿੜਕਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧੭੭੪॥
Omewhere the chopped arm is writhing like a fish out of water.1774.
ਏਕਕਬੰਧਬਿਨਾਹਥਿਆਰਨਰਾਮਕਹੈਰਨਮਧਿਦਉਰੈ॥
(ਕਵੀ) ਰਾਮ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਕ ਧੜ ਬਿਨਾ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਣ-ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੌੜੀ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
The poet Ram says that some headless trunk is running in the battlefield without the weapon and
ਸੁੰਡਨਤੇਗਜਰਾਜਨਕੋਗਹਿਕੈਕਰਿਕੈਬਲਸੋਝਕਝੋਰੈ॥
ਸੁੰਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਕੜ ਕੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਝਕਝੋਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Catching hold of the trunks of the elephants, is shaking them violently with force
ਭੂਮਿਗਿਰੇਮ੍ਰਿਤਅਸ੍ਵਨਕੀਦੁਹੂੰਹਾਥਨਸੋਗਹਿਗ੍ਰੀਵਮਰੋਰੈ॥
ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਪਏ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਰਦਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਰੋੜ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
He is also pulling the neck of dead horses lying on the ground with both his hands and

ਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਚਪੇੜ ਨਾਲ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧੭੭੫॥

ਕੂਦਤਹੈਰਨਮੈਭਟਏਕਕੁਲਾਚਨਦੈਕਰਿਜੁਧੁਕਰੈ॥
ਇਕ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਰਣ-ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੁੱਦਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਛਾਲਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਕਬਾਨਕਮਾਨਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨਨਤੇਕਬਿਰਾਮਕਹੈਨਰਤੀਕੁਡਰੈ॥

ਇਕਕਾਇਰਤ੍ਰਾਸਬਢਾਇਚਿਤੈਰਨਭੂਮਿਹੂੰਤੇਤਜਸਸਤ੍ਰਟਰੈ॥
ਇਕ ਕਾਇਰ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ ਰਣ-ਭੂਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਖਿਸਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
